Lemon Pie

I am now in Barcelona and paid a visit to the new Toni Cabal’s show room, a beautiful space by the way... And was really curious about Lemon Pie🍋because I’m a fan of lemony-gourmand fragrances in summer (and we had 31 sunny degrees today)☀️ Yes, this is a lemony-gourmand fragrance, so, not a unique dna. And I had and loved some of the others... I thought this one was going to be kind of similar to those. But, I would say that Lemon Pie is less gourmand, and more fresh citrusy, very zesty, potent and with a hint of orange blossom and musk which enhance it making it more perfume and less dessert. So, more wearable in my opinion. It’s deliciously sweet and sour at the same time, for me is more a vibrant, concentrated, natural, homemade lemonade with a lot of white sugar🍋🍋🍋The kind of fragrance that makes you feel the most clean and fresh person in the room, and you can spray it over and over again without feeling that it’s too much. You may think that it could be another lemony dessert, or even a clone or dupe. Nothing farther from the truth. You’ll find in Lemon Pie the perfect mouth watering zesty citrusy, sweet smell that we all expect from a lemon-based perfume, with no artificial nuances (far from a synthetic cleaning product). However, it has moderate lasting power (despite being an extrait de parfum). The potent opening becomes a bit softer and creamier after an hour, and at this stage yes, it’s a little more like a lemon dessert, maybe a lemon mousse, pleasantly close to the skin, which is also enjoyable. Summer is giving space to cooler seasons, but, even if Lemon Pie is perfect for the heat, I find it also lovely for any occasion where you want to feel clean and fresh. Perfectly unisex.
