Electric Sky

I smelled this while buying another perfume (Coco Mademoiselle EDT, if anyone's curious), and it was like a flashbulb went off behind my eyes. It immediately grabbed my complete attention. It's very green and fresh at first, almost shockingly so, with a mellow, woody-powdery dry down with the lavender, vetiver, and Palo Santo. It's almost but not quite edible, juicy, but like a crab apple or an underripe granny smith. I am obsessed with this scent. I find it perfect for the middle of the afternoon, between 2 and 3 pm, because it completely wakes my brain up like flipping a switch. I have ADHD, and this is my secret weapon to make my brain focus. It feels very zen, actually, perfect calm but letting me turn my complete focus on what I'm doing at work. It doesn't last as long as I'd like, but I get a good 4-5 hours of moderate projection, then another 3-4 of skin scent. It reminds me of a more wearable version of Chanel No 19 Poudre, which I have and love, but which unfortunately tends to give my mother a headache. Electric Sky is a little pricey, and I wish it was stronger, but I adore the smell too much to care.

I got a tiny free sample of this from Macy's when I ordered Dior Homme sport. The folks at Macy's new what they were doing. Now I gotta spend some more cash to get a bottle of this. This is a great summer freshie for guys as well. This reminds me of the original formulation of ADG. I bought a new bottle of ADG a while back and it disappointed me big time because I expected it to smell like Electric Sky smells, so I'm hooked. Electric Sky is a slightly femme leaning woody floral, with a peachy and clean musky nuance. I don't really know my florals but it's a familiar soft floral. It's starts out more feminine, but dries down to a more unisex scent. Man, this rekindles my memory of the vintage/original ADG, which is also unisex imo. I was going to give the sample to my wife or daughter at first. Glad I changed my mind on that, after a 2nd full wear. I'm definitely adding this to my collection.

I was talking favorite perfumes with a young lady working at the Nordstrom fragrance counter. She had me try this and sent a sample home with me. We didn’t talk about the notes at all. Without knowing the notes, I was assuming it was very different than what is listed. To me, it reminded me of my childhood spent on the beach in Newport Beach CA while eating a wedge of fresh and juicy watermelon. Not at all watermelon candy, just fresh perfectly ripe watermelon. Aquatic, sea salt, fresh ocean air, driftwood, and a juicy wedge of watermelon dripping down my arms is what I get and I’m in love. Gently girly but could be unisex too. I get a nice 6 or 7 hours that I smell as I move around.

A fresh, aquatic light scent with some powdery florals to add dimension and a feminine element. A perfect light and inoffensive Summer fragrance. I own Wood Sage & Sea Salt, 11:11, and Acqua di Gioia. While they all have that light and crisp aquatic thing going for them, they weren't quite scratching the itch I had for a soft and fresh summer signature scent without going the fruity route. I discovered Electric Sky recently and it perfectly fills what I was looking for by adding a hint of florals to a woody and aquatic base. I'm a big fan! Sillage is moderate and this lasts longer than Wood Sage & Sea Salt but about the same as my other aquatic perfumes.

I truly get the imagery of a lightning sky above the night sea. It's not warm and comforting nor is it meant to be. It's refreshing, or rather the aftermath of something being refreshed. The electric buzz in the air signalling new beginnings, excitement of the unknown mingled with the grief of letting go. I haven't repurchased as it doesn't last on me long enough to savour the experience to my desire. But I miss it so much that I just might.

It is a dewy, soft, and floral scent that gives off Byredo's La Tulipe vibe. They are not necessarily dupes but if you love one you'll love another. Electric Sky is like an elf in the summer forest. Delicate and fresh.

Tory Burch is my jam! I first got into the House of Tory Burch when my husband purchased Love Relentlessly for me--a few years back-- as one of my birthday fragrances. Since then, I have ventured into their purses, other fragrances, and beautiful jewelry. This past weekend, I went to visit family in Wisconsin. We stopped at an outlet mall, and guess what? There was a Tory Burch outlet store there! I purchased the Essence of Dream Collection gift set, after sniffing each lovely fragrance. Electric Sky is the first fragrance that I wore from the set. I was told it was the best seller out of the entire store. I'm wearing it today at work, and to run a few errands later. I really am enjoying this lively, effervescent fragrance! My nose picks up every single note, especially the violet and lavender. I am especially happy that palo santo was included in this fragrance-- as it wards off negative energies and anxiety. Electric Sky is a great addition to enhancing my spiritual journey, as well as, keeping me smelling great. My husband loves this! He complimented me several times on how fresh I smelled this morning. This is also great for layering. Today, I have it layered with Bath & Body Works Underwater Oasis--which is also a lovely freshie! The two complement each other very well. Silage and longevity are great in Electric Sky. Due to the eccentricism of the notes...Electric Sky is not a safe blind buy.

Before I read the notes, I processed this as a spa-esque scent. It's very zen and green, a eucalyptus-type sister smell. I want to love it, because I think its intended to be a daily driver, and agree with the ozone / fresh grass, right before the rain personality that this perfume has. PLUS, it's a summer day to night perfume for sure (perfect for me in Florida) - but it just leans a tad too herby for me to wear as a signature scent. I just like it. I think I'd find this to be eye-catching (nose-catching?) on someone else and I would want to keep being around them, but this is not how I want to smell every day of my life. I think I'll save it for those days where I put my sunglasses on, sit criss-cross on a bench, and journal outdoors. It's bottled up calm before a storm.

This is an extremely intimate and weak scent, but I won’t lie, I like it. It’s a very aromatic and salty violet fragrance with just the slightest touch of wood.I do get a bit of the cactus flower but not very much lavender... this is an excellent fragrance for a soothing scent before bed and I honestly believe that is unisex, perhaps more appealing to women because of its subtlety, but fresh none the less. Its an extremely inoffensive scent and is personally my favorite of the Tory Burch fragrances I’ve tested so far. It reminds me a bit of Wood Sage and Sea Salt by Joe Malone but with slight floral notes. Quite lovely but I don’t think I’ll be purchasing a full bottle as I prefer Arizona Bloom, Another 13, and Skin (clean reserve) for intimate aromatics.

I am deeply in love with this fragrance!! I've been trying to find a fragrance that smells good on my skin for a long time. Scents I love on others do not smell good on me. More often than not, when I spray I can't wait to scrub it off. But I have become recently obsessed with fragrance and it started with smelling this on a sample of 4 Tory Burch scents. I ordered a travel size and have been experimenting from there. The experimenting has really paid off in that I've found a few others that I really like also (Acqua di Gioia; Light Blue Eau Intense). But Electric Sky is the one that really speaks to me. I only wish it lasted a bit longer - probably 2-3 hours at best on me - but I guess that's what the travel size is for!

⛈️🌵🪻🪴 This is a surprising love for me. I received Electric Sky in a handful of samples at Nordstrom and it is by far the standout. A hidden gem, really. Electric Sky lives up to it's name. Fresh, airy, green, and just a little juicy, it's like greenhouse in a summer storm. The violet and cactus flower play nicely on me, with hints of that citrus-wood palo santo underneath, and the blue sage gives a subtle aromatic edge. Absolutely perfect for spring and summer. Decently long-lasting, even on my skin which always seems to eat up fragrance faster than I expect. Sits close to the skin, but I don't have to put my nose up to my wrist to smell it and that's exactly how I prefer my scents.

Fresh, floral, woody, this is what it smells like immediately after a brief rainstorm drenches sand and beach goers alike.. you catch the sweet smoke of a finely dressed man lighting a cigar; the salt from the waves caresses your skin. Silky, earthy florals predominate the first 30-minutes, the arid sage (to my nose at least) is much more apparent during the initial dry down... woodsy and extremely wearable, the cactus certainly becomes the star here, an incredibly refreshing and complex fragrance, can definitely be worn in more humid environments as it is mildly opaque but not dense nor sticky.

I got a sample and sprayed it on a piece of paper and it was love at first sniff. But then every time I walked past that piece of paper my subconscious reflexively identified it as men’s cologne. I think the cactus flower helped at first but evaporated really fast. This is one gender line I’m just not willing to blur because I find sage scents so sexy on my husband and don’t want to ruin that for myself. I’ve tried layering it with several different floral fragrances but the sage just doesn’t blend. I think this is a really beautiful fragrance and I want it to work for me but it doesn’t.

This smells amazing! But it really doesn't last. I received a 10ml bottle in a fragrance advent calendar, and I'm very glad i did. Like i said, it's a gorgeous scent and I'm looking forward to wearing it in the summer. Its fairly strong, but within 30 minutes it sits very close to the skin only and within 90 minutes it's pretty much gone completely. The price is incredibly steep for a fragrance that won't even last through a film. I definitely will not purchase a full size, especially when the calendar contained other fragrances with far better performance and lower price points.

Violet and lavender together are usually what I try to avoid in fragrance, violet especially. Luckily, it's not in this, nor vetiver, but saltwater is according to the site. There is something so inviting, breezy and sweet in this. Aquatic and ozonic. Normally I relate lavender to soapy detergent invasive to my senses, yet it works well in Electric Sky. The cactus flower and blue sage work magically without becoming a tacky, aloe vera smelling synthetic mess you'd find with some Bath and Body works alternatives. Reminds me of Mojave Ghost by Byredo.

This is one of my favorite fragrances in my entire collection. It’s fresh, woody, herbal and aromatic. This is blended to perfection and absolutely stunning. Dries down a little masculine leaning- could possibly be an Acqua di Gio flanker. I prefer wearing this on rainy days in warmer weather but it works on warm, sunny days as well. My only complaint is the longevity. It disappears in less than 2 hours on my skin.

Very good unisex, fresh, easygoing, clean. Not like Acqua di Gio Giorgio Armani for women, not at all, I mean seriously? But it does remind me of something well known, maybe CK One, or something on that path. I get lemony sage, levander, Palo Santo is strong. I wouldn’t wear it because I love very feminine frags on me, but this is wonderful.

To my nose, this is a celebration of cactus fruit. Sweet but has enough greenness to keep it from losing freshness. Great for an after-shower boost. I wear it as a man without feeling like my Y chromosome is growing another leg. Fairly linear with good longevity, sillage, and projection. A bit underrated, IMO.

Breezy and airy, perfect for summer. LOVE the cactus flower. It's fresh, aquatic, and has a hint of sweetness. But there is something coconutty in here I am not a fan of. Normally hate palo santo, not getting much of that, thankfully. The other notes fade to the background and meld together on me.

I received a few testers from the Tory Burch 2022 essence of dreams collection when I purchased a different perfume at the department store. This was my favorite and I enjoy wearing it. It smells fresh and clean! The only downside is that I don't think the scent lasts that long.

I like this! Before I read the notes, I called it an aquatic with a white bouquet. Now I can notice the sage and wood, but not getting violet, and the lavender isn’t too strong. It’s clean and fresh. Only wish it was stronger. I need to put nose to skin in order to smell it.

Great going to bed, calming nighttime perfume. This is coming from someone who can’t stand lavender too. This mix is very smooth and pleasant. The notes are spot on, supple but subtle fruity scent that smells like your skin after a day at the spa.

My 2nd favorite scent from this collection. It's a unique, fresh, vibrant, mineral, aromatic scent. I find it perfect for summer. I can't recall smelling anything similar. Worth trying.

This smells like a pure ritual in the middle of the jungle, with all the green notes plus the palo santo one. I love it🩵🩵🩵 but I don’t think it has a good sillage nor longevity:(

Watery, herbal, clean and refreshing lavender and sage. But borders on medicinal.

On paper, Electric Sky is a dream—airy, electric, a soothing violet-tinged breeze swirling over smoothed-out paolo santo. But on skin, the sky falters. Brightness fizzles. A flash of discordant ozone and lavender’s clean sharp edges emerges on spray, like the first drop of rain on hot pavement, but that is not at al the issue. The issue lies in how overtly smoke curls at the edges, something medicinal seeping through, an unfamiliar bitterness humming beneath the surface. The ozone reveals its identity as one polluted, humid and ashy. And it softens over time, yes, but never quite loses that aftertaste—dried herbs singed by unkind lightning, a wisp of suffocating vetiver smudging the hazy horizon. The sweetness of watery cactus and aromatic lavender could not be more distant, swallowed by something dry and charred, yet at the same time moist and dense. A storm that never broke after the electric. A storm that merely left the air stiflingly thick and damagingly scorched.

i really can't decide if i like this or not! my signature fragrance is diptyque's ilio and this truly seems like her woodier, slightly sweeter older sister. on one hand, ilio is powdery, youthful, and fresh; the prickly pear is definitely the star of the show and gives her this beautiful shampoo-like aura. electric sky, on the other hand, is just that; the first spritz is like a bolt of lightning, bringing forth a burst of lavender, blue sage, and cactus flower. the dry down is sweet and woody, but i think i've come to learn that i don't love palo santo in my fragrances. i could see this being used on a summer evening date, but other than that, i'll probably leave it to macerate to see if it helps me like it more. the longevity is good though, but at present, it almost reminds me of a sweeter play-doh on my skin

So weird... when i initially spray this i can smell it. I really like it! Very quickly after the initial spray, i cant smell it anymore, but today was the first i wore this out and i got two unsolicited compliments! I cannot smell a thing🤷♀️ This seems to happen to me a lot. The sublime rose in this collection, i can really smell that all day and i love it. I can smell cosmic wood and mystic geranium but not as well as sublime rose. No explanation as to why. But other people really like it! Update: something changed in my nose and suddenly i could smell it. In fact, i could smell it so well it became unbearable to wear and i felt like i could not escape it fast enough. Too sharp and too heady for me.

Got an unsolicited free sample of this from Macy’s cuz that’s how my day is going. “Give this guy a female perfume” someone said. “Maybe he can find someone to give it to so we can get rid of it.” Scent is fresh and clean, non-offensive, light and airy. I could see this as an after shower scent which is the only time I would wear it. This feels like an EDT. If you like this, you will probably like almost everything from Korres. Very similar experience.

I thought I would love this for the notes and comparison to Ilio. This is nothing like it. There is nothing powdery about this fragrance to my nose. Imagine the notes above, but blended and watered down. That's the best way I can describe it. Every note, watered down. So it is a light fragrance, somewhat floral-aquatic. I wish I hadn't blind bought it. I don't love it, but can't say I detest it, so I might just use it as a workout/running frag.

A cucumbery violet and violet leaf opening. Then, cactus flower. The herbal notes are an afterthought. Juicy, watery, gentle florals. The sage and lavender become more prominent, but it remains a lush floral with juicy notes. Citrusy, woody palo santo and grassy, earthy vetiver come in, but the lightly herbal, very watery florals reign supreme. Nice...between ok and a like.

I really tried to love this one! Its super unique, almost creamy but still remains fresh and lightly green (in a similar sense of the smell of fig). I just couldn't stand the underlying lavender notes, it gave me such a headache every time I tried to wear it :(

Hard green pears, baby wipes, cranberries, sniffing an ice cube. Perfect sour fruit in the open, but dries down to a cold ozonic violet, like putting an overly-fragranced luxury setting powder in your freezer for an hour before snorting a line.

Very cucumbery and cactus-y in the 'meh' sense of the word. It's pleasant enough but nothing memorable. Leans masculine, green, and aromatic. Expensive for what it is. Still more reasonably priced than Jo Malone I suppose...

Fresh shampooey smell. I wouldn't call this aromatic at all, I don't get any of the herbs or woods just an ozonic aquatic floral. Reads 90s to me

Smells very chemically at first spritz. Fades into what i think smells like a greenhouse full of succulents and strange flowers.

Yucky, and I had high hopes! Smells divine at first but dried down to a much too peppery masculine scent on me.

I received a sample from Nordstrom, with a fragrance purchase, and after spraying it, I absolutely LOVE this fragrance for the 15 minutes it lasts on my skin. It's the most delicious opening I ever got in any fragrance. It should be the cactus flower, which is green, salty and aquatic, there's a mineral quality which is absolutely enchanting. This fragrance smells more UNISEX than it is marketed to (ladies). I can find it breaching on Acqua de Gio (for him) territory. Electric Sky would bring a wonderful aromatic aura to both men and women. Unfortunately, performance is abysmal, silage is disappointing and the price tag is laughable... it's about US$125 per 3.0oz - A price tag on the same ballpark of most Hermès fragrances, I wish Electric Sky had the same Hermès qualities. Unfortunately, I CANNOT agree that Electric Sky is worthy the money you put on it. Hopefully, Electric Sky will inspire someone working for Armaf, Afnan or designers like Azzaro or Karl Lagerfeld, who would keep an equivalent formulation, improve the performance and put a more realistic price tag. My personal evaluation. Fragrance is: 7 out of 10 Performance is: about 3 out of 10 Price is: 2 out of 10. I love it, but won't recommend it for obvious reasons.

I bought a mini bottle to try it and it’s turned out to be one I really enjoy. It becomes a skin scent within the first hour but then lasts as a soft presence that I pick up in wafts for about 4 hours, so I don’t find the performance as bad as many people. This is fresh and clean with a dewy or aquatic nuance while being aromatic at the same time. It’s not sweet. It’s pretty unisex and I would wear it at the same times as something like Wood Sage & Sea Salt, De Los Santos (but this is WAY mellower) etc- it’s fresh and clean in a unique way. I wore it to work yesterday and got a compliment from a coworker who actually ordered herself a mini on the spot! She said it kind of reminded her of Afternoon Swim- maybe it’s that watery quality.

Electric Sky has a sweetly aromatic opening. The note pyramid claims sage and violet, ...I wouldn't be so exact, just something pungenrt and something floral, slightly vanillic. This all dies down fairly quickly, the florality becomes meek, slightly more aquatic. Burch calls this 'cactus flower', which can really mean anything. Its just a vaguely constructed accord, verging on a marketing fantasy. The drydown does have a light woodiness that corresponds to palo santo, This is the best part of this, but there are better palo santo options, many. Overall, this is unclear on concept, weak in execution. There just isn't much to hang a hat on here.

I really like this scent, it’s kind of nostalgic for me. There used to be a fragrance at target, im not sure if it’s still around called “day dreamer” by good chemistry and it was this salty woody scent that reminds me a lot of this one. The opening in electric sky is juicy and fruity with a slight hint of aromatics. It dries down to a fresh, salty scent with the fruity notes still hanging around but more in the background. I really like it but can’t tell if the projection is worth the buy. Great summer scent though!

It smells like an expensive face mask in your auntie’s bathroom that you shouldn’t be getting into. Smells like clean laundry in the breeze of the dusty Sierra Madre. The purple flowers float together cohesively with the aquatic cactus accord with a light smokiness from Palo Santo and leathery vetiver. Linear but in positive way. All season daywear.

As someone who grew up in the desert, This doesn't smell anything like cactus flower, my main purpose for purchasing. I liked the fresh opening a lot, but it dried down to something that smelled just like men's fragrance...which is not what I wanted. I do appreciate the ecologically minded packaging however.
