Jolie Fleur Bleue

This is the one. I don't know why Fragrantica neglects to mention the violet leaves but it's a game changer. This cost 120 dollars for a 3.4 oz bottle and I'm gonna gladly throw my money at this because this is too beautiful. It's this symphony of powdery floral notes with a dash of herbal charm. I'm head over heels for this. Like I got this in the 3 pack like everyone did around Christmas, Rose is obnoxious and without any purpose at all. Vert is tolerable and fresh then Bleue shows up and steals the show entirely. At least try it. It's got a fairly decent longevity and tasteful sillage that radiates without filling a room.

The initial blast is tuberose but it softens to a creamy white floral. When I mean blast--I mean rocket blast so be careful in not overapplying. I also received all three Fleur Jolie scents and this is, by far, is my favorite. Second is the Vert. Sillage is good and longevity on me is 4 hours but close to 6 on my shirt.

I am absolutely obsessed with this perfume. It reminds me of my all time favorite Coach by Coach. It is light and bright and white floral. It has a lasting honeysuckle note I adore and the tuberose is young and fresh with out being old ladyish.

This is a beautiful fragrance and honestly one of my favorites out of my collection. It's such a pleasant white floral scent. It gets me a lot of compliments too :)

I was gifted this a few years ago. Initially I wasn't sure about it but it's grown on me. It's great for Spring. It is fairly light and doesn't last ages so is great for work in health care when I want to smell nice but not overpower a patient with fragrance. Lighter fragrance is more what I'm gravitating towards as my tastes have evolved with having a young child. I don't think I'd get it again but happy to finish my bottle.

This reminds me of Estée Lauder’s Beautiful: but without the menacing headache that always ensues when I’m subjected to that fragrance. This perfume speaks of tuberose, but nothing more than that. I try to get excited about wearing it, and the first few spritzes make me think I’ll love this fragrance this time. But then it dries down and I smell like my grandmother. She always wears Beautiful.

I’m enjoying this! The white florals are blended well together. The tuberose isn’t too strong like I’ve experienced with other perfumes. The jasmine doesn’t give me a headache. It’s just a pretty white bouquet. A bit of a shampoo vibe. Nice.

A kind soul gifted me the Jolie Fleur mini sampler. Of the three frags, Bleue is the weakest: it's almost nonexistant. No tuberose, no jasmine or grapefruit ... B. is a generic floral without sillage or longevity. What's the point of a fragrance that won't/can't perform?

This seems to be a love it or hate it category. I have to go with the latter. I get a giant box of dryer sheets aroma, too. Along with the super potent stays in your clothes for weeks "fresh" scent detergent and fabric softener to match the dryer sheets. A rocket blast in one review, a hurricane mentioned in another review, and I will call it a tsunami. Once Jolie Fleure Bleue dries down, the trapped in the rinse cycle effect relents but then I get the cassis creating an ammonia profile that is brewing with a bitter grapefruit note. The mandarin sneaks in to try and make peace and cool things off but it gets lost in the mob. Something about this scent is very synthetic and/or chemically bent that it tends to not agree with my allergy and asthma issues, probably not office safe. Given my experience and the mixed reviews on this one, I would not recommend blind buying it or for safe gifting. Definitely one to try in store or with a sample, even if you have to purchase one on eBait. This seems to wear superbly on some, and if it's you, chances are you going to get some outstanding deals on this one fairly soon.

White floral. Very fresh and clean smelling. Soft tuberose that quickly overtakes any other aspect of the fragrance. It's certainly not unpleasant and might make for a nice spring time perfume, but it's not my type of scent. 5/10

A hurricane out of the gate, this mix of notes does not work for me. Somewhere in the top I sensed iris, even though it is not listed in the notes. Headache-inducing.

I can see the dryer sheet comparison. On me this is sharp and unpleasant. A vague fake floral scent too sharp to enjoy. I don't get the notes listed at all. :

loved it at Sephora but like other reviewers said it's BLAND at best. utterly forgettable. Floral & I can't call it 'pleasant'. It's the middle of Winter

Pure tuberose if that's your thing. It dominates this fragrance completely. Masking all other hopes to smell any other notes.

I ordered as a gift with purchase - a Tory Burch sample set of her 3 new fragrances from the Fleur Jolie line, all in spray samples, housed in a cute pocket sized floral print box from Sephora. I have sampled all of them, and while I love them, I have to report that they all wear more like eau de toilettes. People may disagree, but this smells a bit like the Bath and Body Works Velvet Tuberose scent that was discontinued 10 years ago. That scent was such a rich floral, blending tuberose and sandalwood together. I love Bleu just for that similarity- but it has a nice grapefruit top note. Out of all 3 jolie fleur scents this was the longest lasting.

Jolie Fleur Bleue is reminiscent of Estee Lauder's Beautiful. A sweet floral, amber-warm, smooth--and cloying, like Rose Byrne's insecure and ingratiating character in Bridesmaids. Am baffled by claim below that this scent is ephemeral. On me the sweet note lasted two days. Tory Burch is an Estee Lauder brand, competing perhaps with Jo Malone. Unfortunately E.L. wants to make the same kind of fragrances under this label as its original line, instead of taking the opportunity to create something new and distinctive. My bottle is being consigned to the bathroom as air freshener.

Reminds me of Jo Malone’s Bluebell or Laura Ashley’s original Emma from the 80s/90s if that helps the reader a little with placing it on some sort of scent wheel: like the floral scent you’d pick up after a rain - as the sky is clearing and the sun is out again and for a brief moment everything is clean and fresh. The base is powdery clean soap - mostly sharp powder. I could see this being overpowering in a nauseating way if oversprayed. Just a few spritzes as you walk into it will keep it balanced. I love it! 🥰

I find this relatively inoffensive for a tuberose. It has a sheer almost freesia-like quality here. I am reviewing from the freebie from Sephora, and I do have to say, for free, the sizes are generous and matchbox packaging super cute, I could almost fit the teeny Aerin bottle from the set I paid $20 for in the box if I wanted to travel with them. This and the green one come off quite similar to my nose, with this being the more floral of the two, while the green is more citrus-y and fresh.

I'm almost done with the sample in the matchbox trio. I've put this on a few times now; and ultimately, I find it to be a very forgettable floral. It opens with a strong tuberose that smells "perfumey" in a generic/unpleasant sense. It brightens, a bit, into a floral bouquet with the violet and peony appearing for a short time. This is a passing freshness and then it goes nose-wrinklingly dry. The previous reviewers mentions of dryer sheets are apt comparisons. Bland at best.

Initially I really like it. It’s a soft floral. I was worried this would be an annoying heady tuberose but it blends in to the fragrance well. About five minutes in I start to smell celery? I’m not sure what note it is but it doesn’t seem to mix with my chemistry very well. I get maybe two hours from this. It’s not long lasting at all. It’s my least favorite Tory Burch so far. I’m gonna test it a few more times but if it still doesn’t grab my attention I might swap/sell.
