Just Like Heaven

Creamy, silky, and so very fresh and light. Truly a beautiful and heavenly scent that one could describe as the essence of spring. I had to give it some time to grow on me, but it happened very quickly. At first, I wasn't very excited to try this... a harshly green, citrusy floral is what I expected... I'm glad I was wrong! There is something in the opening that strikes me, and I can't quite put my finger on what it is. It develops and changes quickly. It's a sunny and juicy zest that gives your spirits a little lift that blends so beautifully with the tartly sweet and refreshing rhubarb. The rich damp greenness along with the soft purple floral somehow gives it a very honey-like texture. It reminds me of something like a high-end setting or compact powder. It's such a happy zing, and I find it quite energizing. It transitions into a gorgeous custardy amalgamation of scents. It's so refined, and quite sensual for something so clean and fresh! Rich, earthy/woodsy, milky, with just the smallest touch of spice, almost like a dash of spearmint to my nose... if heaven could truly be a place on earth, it was captured in this bottle. Longevity is incredible. Seven hours into my day and I still have people complimenting me or mentioning that I smell good in passing. I was sitting near my sister, about a good 3 or 4 feet away and she immediately asked me what I was wearing. "Sis, you smell good, but like, really really good!". I'd say the silage is pleasantly detectable, since it tends to reach those who are somewhat nearby. There is a warmth in here that stays fresh and light. She's soft and delicate, but oh so powerful. Playful, yet ever so sensual. Classy, beautiful, and feminine without being too sweet and girly.

What a dreamy fragrance. They could not have picked a better name for this perfume. It really is heavenly. I feel like I am surrounded by a fresh bouquet of spring flowers. It’s not a glamorous perfume or a dramatic perfume. It’s just a light, airy, pretty floral. There is nothing strong or heavy here. Sometimes I just want a fragrance that isn’t too much, and this fits the bill perfectly. Though light, the floral composition is a little heady and very feminine. The bouquet seems very realistic to me. I’ve smelled some of the same notes in my own garden, especially when the lilacs are in bloom. It surprised me since checking this site to see that lilac is not listed in the notes, but it is there along with the other florals. While lilac is the main note to my nose, it’s also a smidgen green and a pinch sweet. It smells so natural and so well balanced there is not one discordant note in this composition. The citrus and rhubarb are not prominent but more to keep the composition fresh. Especially thankful about that as I'm not the biggest fan of either. I like the way this scent floats around me in a nice little cloud of fragrance. It also has pretty good longevity for such a light floral. It lasted a good 7 hours on me. I really enjoyed wearing it and will purchase a bottle when this mini is done. Can’t wait for the warmer weather as I think this will smell better to me than it does now. In the meantime, I have this mini harbinger of spring to ease me through the rest of the winter. Edit - I tried Bvlgari Amethyste and yes, it does smell remarkably like this but there is a soapiness there that I am not getting here. If you can't find this, it could be a good substitute.

Holy moly. I bought a discounted bottle of Olympea by Paco Rabanne at Sephora and selected Just Like Heaven as my free deluxe sample (cute bottle, about 1/4oz of frag inside). The packaging is delightful! Adorably elegant in it's wee-ness. What I discovered inside was a spring flower bouquet in liquid form. If you love hyacinth and heliotrope notes and how a fresh bouquet smells (flowers, green scents) you may love this to the moon. And it will perform for you for hours. And more hours. And for goodness sake, do NOT apply a ton of it, because it lasts *and* extends into your own personal floral aura of scent like, well, like the sillage queen it is. Apply lightly. Just Like Heaven can quickly turn into Just Like Headache even as it smells amazing to your own nose. Just Like Heaven doesn't smell like my version of heaven, but it makes an excellent spring and summer scent for floral perfume lovers. Sweetly hyacinth and heliotrope notes supported by what can only be, to my nose, "green-ness" and just enough musk to be discernible after the opening notes mellow out. But the musk seems there to support the bouquet, not to be too forward. To me, it's barely there, which I like. You may want to try it over a musk lotion. I imagine this wee bottle will last me through next spring. This one will be great for going out to events (especially outdoor events like an art crawl or wine-tasting event) or on dates with my spouse. It's too showy for me to wear to work unless I can find the right (and very small) application range that will work for office settings. Bottom line- if you want a spring bouquet in a bottle, Just Like Heaven may be your unicorn.

Well, this is quite a treat. This is a very green floral scent, which confuses me since based on the notes, I'm not sure where I'm getting all this green from. Rhubarb and floral, perhaps is reading as green? Either way, I really like this scent. There is a creaminess to this that I really like. I enjoy when a fragrance can pull off creamy without leaning too heavy on gourmand notes or tuberose/gardenia. Tory Burch has never really been on my radar, but this is the third scent of hers that I have sampled and really enjoyed. The longevity is short lived though. This didn't last very long on my skin.

I absolutely love this perfume. Just like others have said: it is incredibly lilac-y to me. When I smelled it, I immediately thought of the lilac bushes at my childhood home. It's a beautiful, clean, fresh scent. I normally go for aquatic/citrus/aromatic scents, but I adore this. Just as a note, though, I'm also someone who puts on like 1 spray for the whole day and I don't pay much attention to sillage, longevity, etc...

Creamy and beautiful green floral. I smells predominantly hyacinth with the heliotrope lightly lingering around. The rhubarb gives it the green smelling note and the tonka bean, its sweetness. I think it's a very nice and safe spring fragrance for any age, somehow cozy and comforting in its own way. Close to the skin and long lasting, but a little pricey.

This fragrance is my new obsession for spring and summer! It is true to its name and smells just like heaven! Upon first spraying it, I was not sure I liked it, but after a few minutes I LOVED it. It’s floral, fresh, and juicy. This is a happy fragrance that is appropriate for day or night and will get you many compliments without being overpowering.

One of the most favorite parfumes year round! However, it is not for everyone as it depends on skin/chemistry. I get compliments 100% each time I wear this. To me this is a epitome of feminine, medium complexity and does not give a headache. Wish they had not discontinued in US - now buying from Canada.

Beautiful ethereal perfume. Chose it for my birthday today! I bought a sample and I think that, if you can afford it, it really is worth the price!

The most noticeable note to me is heliotrope and Hyacinth, swifts of lilac and ylang ylang. The Aldehydes are not listed but they’re totally there in the start and for about first 10 min. It definitely has a vintage accord in it. I like it but because of that aldehydic vibe it kind of turns me away from it. It’s very soft and airy, once it sits on the skin longer, it becomes a bit more soft and more lilac, a little less aldehydic. Kind of like skin care vibe with a strong fragrance. And it also reminds me of some other fragrance I smelled before, I just can’t think of which one. May be something along classic Lancôme’s fragrances, Climat perhaps? A bit less aldehydic and lilac instead of Lily’s Of the valley. Edit: I had on my skin for a little and I think I need it at least in smaller travel size. It’s very feminine and pleasant at dry down. Mainly Lilac (Hyacinth) and heliotrope. And also reminds me a bit of Tocca Giulietta. So I found great deal for used 1.7 bottle and bought it 😁

I swear...this smells like samosas on me with a spritz of lilac air freshener and a squeeze of lemon juice. It somehow works, but I’m not confident wearing this outside my house. This is probably for my own sniffing pleasure, if I do decide to keep it. Definitely too much floral, vintage-leaning and mature, but it’s so faint at the same time that it stays modern and youthful. It’s interesting, but not for everyone. I gave it a rating of a smiling face because I adore the 7ml bottle. Other than that, it’s just a neutral face for me.

To me it smells like light version of Diorissimo or heavy version of Bvlgary Ametist. My nose is telling me that we smell LOTV here. A lot of LOTV. I was surprised to see the notes on fragrantica. It is green floral scent. I never was taking Tori Burch frags seriously. This one is very well made. Easy to wear, very pleasant spring/summer scent. I would say if you already have Diorissimo or original Miu Miu you do not need this one. Name fits the juice really well.

This is a mild scent to put on in the mornings for work, or for lounging around in the morning in a bathrobe with coffee. It's a floral scent, the hyacinth note prominent for me; however, it's comforting and plushy. It reminds me of scents from the late 1990's: probably the green note. The only downside is that the scent is easily overwhelmed by my vanilla- and nut-scented body butters.

Very green, citrus floral. White florals. Typical citrus-floral freshie but with a very green opening. I can't detect the rhubarb itself but it might be adding to the overall tartness. Too loud on me, I could never wear this to work. Dry down is much like other scents in this style, leaning more and more floral as the fruit notes fade out. It opens and remains rather sharp, never really smoothing out but maybe that was by design to keep it "bright". It's okay, not special, not my style. Perfectly unisex if that's what you're looking for. At retail price it's rather expensive for what it is. Review of mini bottle that was a gift with purchase. SIDE NOTE (As an Alaskan, I can tell you from vast experience, this does not smell like bug dope. Insect repellent is just part of survival in the wild. We have huge, fast moving swarms of mosquitoes and no-see-ems here that can kill moose by sucking their blood until they go into hypovolemic shock, exhaust themselves in a panicked attempt to out run their attackers, or literally drowned trying to escape the onslaught in water. JUST LIKE HEAVEN isn't heaven but it's not hell either.)

Photorealistic hyacinth is what I get from this one. The ylang and tonka are barely there, but stop the fragrance becoming too watery. Nice and balanced for a fresh floral lover.

I originally liked this scent but then my ex told me I smelled like an old lady so ever since then it's just not been the same for me.

So, it's a pretty floral scent but I don't have much else to say. Almost one-dimensionally hyacinth on me with maybe a tinge of tartness from the rhubarb. It's been 4 hours or so since I've put it on and it's about gone, never smelled the tonka bean at all (which might be a good thing for me). I was expecting a little more of a celestial, carry-me-away quality from the name. It is a nice hyacinth smell though. Edit: No longer that thrilled wearing this because I realized it smells a lot like my grandmother's lilac scented bathroom spray. :(

Just like heaven? Not for me. It reminds me of bug spray at the opening. then it goes grassy and reminds me of fresh mulch in the spring time (which happens to be spread in my area when hyacinth are in bloom). My dog seems to like it thought-well he does like rolling in mulch and grass to get that outdoorsy fragrance on him.

I was excited to try her perfume, I adore her fashion. This sounded like everything I would love. Upon sampling, I was punched in the nose with bitter citrus bug repellent and wood varnish. Very odd, unattractive and overpriced!

Something about this is so vile on my skin. It makes me so sad. Looking at the notes, there is nothing I don't like, but the combination just goes horrible on me. It's like Dolce & Gabbana L'Imperatrice 3 on me that way, in that there's nothing I dislike in the notes but it just smells nasty with my chemistry. I really should have liked it because florals are my favorite category. I am also surprised this got compared to Philosophy Amazing Grace, because it didn't go that way on me at all. I really like Amazing Grace.

I really hope that heaven does not smell like this fragrance! You might as well rub grass and dirt all over your body if you want to smell like Just Like Heaven. I smell nothing but a horrible grass and dirt scent that I do not find appealing at all!

I tested this for the first time a week ago and it immediately reminded me of Mr. Bubble bubble bath. Just like when I was a kid in 1975 and the bubbles were all around me, the steamy air was clean and sweet. I kept sniffing it and decided that I needed to try it again just to be sure I was reading it right. On the second try I knew I needed to own it so I bought a rollerball from Sephora a few days ago and now this is all I want to wear. I find this to be the floral I’ve always wanted because in all honesty, the florals that smell so good on others, just smell generic on me and turn sharp. Each time I wear this, the scent of clean, lightly sweet bubbles is the first thing I smell. It took me a few days to figure out the next note, but I’ve finally pinned it down and it’s the creamy Tonka note I used to smell in LUSH Vanillary. It perplexes me how this goes from mildly sweet flowers to an almost cocoa butter and creamy white chocolate, then right back to flowers that seem to develop every 30 minutes, becoming increasingly more beautiful and true with no trace of the bubble bath or cocoa butter-y tonka bean. Finally, finally, finally I have found the perfect floral for me! It’s an amazingly beautiful fragrance that I would wear all.the.time. I’m requesting the spray for Mother’s Day. :-)

Received this in a box of samples my sister unloaded onto me. Wow sucks for everyone else, this is pretty nice on my skin. Mind you, a similar effect is achieved (more successfully) by the amethyst Bvlgari omnia. So if you like the idea of a powdery/creamy purple floral, you can try that one and see if it agrees with your chemistry. The Bvlgari is a better perfume, anyways. I actually have no clue how “green” is listed at the predominate impression on here. This is a PURE powder for the first hour. I had a vivid scent-triggered memory of high school theatre. Endless dress rehearsals in the dead of winter. The smell of Ben Nye stage makeup; all of its waxy glory. How traumatic, lol... It then morphs—randomly—into a vaguely fresh Febreeze sort of number. The “tropical” one with the Hawaiian imagery on the bottle. That’s my favorite offering in Febreeze product line, coincidentally enough, so I remained generally content throughout the sparse hour or two that I was able to smell it. I’m a fan! I’d buy a whole bottle if I found it on sale at a TJ Maxx, or something. I wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase this on eBay.

oh my this is a beautiful fragrance !!! it definitely fits its name !!! im new to tory burch fragrances & this particular scent is an amazing welcome lol :) i feel like a little angelic fairy romping thru a field of fresh cut flowers in early morning spring :) its a perfect green floral scent the green isnt overbearing or at least on me it isnt - its a perfect blend of field of flowers with a touch of sweet green - its not harsh at all on me i get the mandarin orange - maybe thats the sweet i smell lol..............and the hyacinth & heliotrope are big stand outs on me - love those 2 scents this is a very ethereal feminine floral :) looking forward to getting tory's other scents......shopping here i come (again lol )

Tested at Macy's last night... This is my first test of any Tori Burch fragrances. Secondly I tested Love Relentlessly and the original Tori Burch. O f the 3..I find Just Like Heaven the best one...as it is....AMAZING !! I really can't understand the notes listed here...I get something very different smelling, but what ever...this smells wonderful. Of the 3 I tested, this one has clasic written all over it...a little spice here and there,with balanced floral/fruity.. Hard for me to fully describe..have to re-test ot again to filly investigate the notes. Also, this is priced pretty high....so I will wait patiently for the prices to drop online..ie..eBay...lol...and see what happens. I want this...!!!!!!

I got it today, and at first I didn't care for it, there is a note that smells off, I bet it is the hyacinth..it has a different vibe, plus mixing with the rhubarb definitely gives it an unusual top notes, definitely a green vibe at first,,...then the base gets warmer, and also fresh, like it isn't very sweet, mostly soft and pretty,,now, I don't know really what to do with it, it has character, but gets real fast to a more generic sweet base...so it is like ok, it is ok, I need to wear it more, I don't know yet if I really like it..overpriced for sure..

Sadly the notes are wrong. There's oud or synthetic wood. Not clean at all. Ruined. The top notes are fine. Smells lilacy and creamy. Then the faint oud rears it's ugly head. And never leaves. It's very soft. Low sillage. But I smelled it all night. Reminds me of a drop d issey which I didn't like either. Or Glossier You. That musky synthetic wood smell under musk that's supposed to be clean but isn't

I was very disappointed after smelling this at the Tory Burch store this passed weekend... It does smell very nice. But this is a very very light scent.. Its like you applied a scented lotion. Probably the lightest parfume I've ever smelled. I will end up buying it. To add to my collection.. But not until the price comes way down online.. Its too bad cause it is a lovely smell...

The first note is very light and powdery hyacinth, the second note is a bit louder and wafts Heliotrop and a tiny bit of rhubarb. Might get a hint of Tonka bean. The scent reminds me of juicy fruit gum. I’m going to keep using my sample and see how this smells in warmer weather.

Smells pretty but sadly, it doesn't last long. Sillage is also so soft. I don't get the Tonka bean at all. From opening to drydown, this smells exactly like Bvlgari Amethyste. The sweeter and more floral version.

I just tried this today and it kinda smells like bathroom, or urine or diaper soaked in pee that has been left in the room too long. it is not pleasant at all. Am I the only one?

There's something very nostalgic about this that reminds me of my grandparents cottage in the forest by the lake in the summertime. But sadly a bit too spicy for me.

Like an orange-y version of Clinique Happy. Not bad, althought not really my style.
