Nuit Azur

Previously I had marked that this was a "love" for every season except winter, only because it didn't feel like it would work in winter (for me). Normally I'm big on wearing whatever I want whenever I want with little to no limitations, but every now and then something will whisper to me in summer, "I won't work in the cold". Or mid winter, "put me away come summer!" Nuit Azur did that. I put it away in late fall and figured I wouldn't see it again till spring. But it's early Feb in Canada and I just reached for it to see... and OMG this scent is amazing right now. Maybe it's the patchouli, or any of the base notes really, but whatever it is, I'm floating in a cozy blanket of this magic and would recommend you all go throw on yours to see how warm this freshy can be! How versatile!

While I do not think that Bel Azur and Nuit Azur smell related at all, they are both nice. I went with Nuit, since Bel feels slightly more generic to me; that said, if I found it on sale I'd snatch it up as well. Nuit really feels like a nighttime version of Nest Indigo to me. It is much heavier on the wood and musk than Nest, but the fig comes through pretty well too. I don't really get much of the citrus, except that the fragrance is pretty sharp when it is wet. By drydown, the violet and jasmine come in more as the citrus calms down. I don't reach for this one super-often, but when I do, I am glad that I did.

This is a great summer freshy- citrus aquatic with a touch of floral. Nuit Azur is elegant, crisp, with a hint of sweetness that is slightly mouthwatering. Perfect with a white dress, strappy sandals - it completes the summer vibe. The middle note can have a very mild hint of indolic jasmine but it is pleasant. Nuit Azur is an intimate perfume, mostly detectable in the first couple of hours. The dry down is a soft and sweet skin scent. All of this makes it a perfect fresh summer scent. You can't really overspray. I'm curious to see how it performs in summer humidity.

This was my signature scent but I’m almost out and it’s now discontinued! I love it. Smells so soft and pretty yet somewhat mysterious. I got so many compliments but only right after I apply it because it wears off very quickly. But the note combination is chefs kiss to my nose. If someone has a dupe I need to know!

It smells like summer, when I smell this, I feel like I'm in Greece on a hot summery day. ☀️ Absolutely LOVE this scent for summer!! It's woody and citrusy. I would choose this over Light Blue D&G if I had to pick ONE scent for the summer!😍

I got a bottle of this from my husband with a employer gift bag, but didn't like it that much at first because I thought it smelled too sweet, so I regifted one of the bottles of it for a guy friend of mine, and he loves it, His new bf adores it and so my friend thanked me for helping him find a new signature scent. He doesn't know it yet but I just got him the gift set with the large and small parfums and a lotion. For some reason in the wintery months it reminds me of my bottle of Bath & Bodyworks' Forever Red but with the deeper "blue" notes. Like i said it opens up better for me in the chillier months. Now that I go back and sniff the second bottle that i kept for myself, it's better than i remember it, and I think I didn't give it a fair shot for the drydown to decide that i liked it. Now that I retried it I smell the figgy sweetness but it loops around the blue aquatic teases, and I can now pick up the more manly notes that attract me. It does smell different on my friend's skin, because of the unique body chemistry thing, but I'll hold onto my second bottle for myself just to have a 'strange' one off scent from my usual likes.

I had an hour to burn waiting for engraving at the mall so I figured I would head to Macy's and sample some perfumes. I ran across this, sprayed it on a card and liking it, I came back for the full body douse. I went in heavy, wrists, elbows, forearms, ears, neck, shirt. Never too much of a good thing, am I right? I have a big weakness for woody florals and FIG...there's not many fig fragrances that turn me off. Sooooo... I really liked this. I got a compliment from the woman at the Things Remembered shop who was doing the engraving on a gift I purchased. Afterwards, I headed to the car, drove 13 miles to the Walgreens to pick up a card and a gift bag, then home. In 1.5 hours, the scent is totally gone. My fabric freshener has better longivety. Disappointing. I might have bought it otherwise.

I like this latest offering. The fig and mandarin are prominent upon initial application which is quite pretty. Overall this scent seems mildly sweet,has a tiny bit of woods and musk and a very pretty airy quality to it, which to me is suggestive of a rather tropical vibe altogether. Tropical is not the type of scent I gravitate towards very often,which is bizarre because I do live in a tropical climate, LOL! I can see myself wearing this in certain circumstances and moods and enjoying it while it lasts, which seems to be around five hours.

This is just a “happy” scent for me. I don’t feel that it’s much of a nighttime scent - more a breezy summer day at a forested lake in the mountains - but I find myself sniffing myself just for the pleasure of smelling it. I get a fairly strong cedar and aquatic notes, a well as a sweet-but not jammy-fig.

I really like this woody white floral. I decided to buy it after just smelling a pressed paper sample. It opens with sweet fig and watery violet leaves. The middle is a white floral combination of jasmine and orange blossom. The base is mostly dry spicy cedar. Very nice!

A lovely woody floral composition.

A musky cloud drifts across the sea while you ride a yacht into port, sipping from a deep red wine. This fragrance absolutely evokes the the seaside, plummy dark fruits, the grit of sand and fig seeds, and old wealth. Unfortunately it also manages to smell a bit cheap at the same time -- an imitation of the opulence that it aspires toward. Long lasting with an intense sillage, I find this fragrance kind of off putting over time. It feels like something a rich but not necessarily class older woman here in my home town of Chicago would wear to go boating off the Gold Coast. She's wearing Chico's and getting a heavy day drunk wine buzz on; the wine she's got iced down with moon drop grapes. There's an artificial, alcoholic stink that hangs over the finer notes, ruining the experience somewhat. But I'm also not a fan of aquatics so take with a grain of (sea) salt.

Love, love, love this scent! It's very different in a good way, and it just smells like summer. However, it doesn't last very well one me even though it's EDP. But, I still love it, and I will always recommend it!

This came off as a very low quality, highly synthetic, mass manufactured, cheap smelling fragrance. I would not be surprised if it came off a .99 cent store car pine freshener. I can't get over the opening. It is very strong. Not subtle, soft, or gentle. It's a very POW in your face. Not complex. More like two notes. Either you love it or hate it. You don't really get a choice as it does not transform or take you on a fragrance journey. Not for me but that's the great thing about perfume. There is always something for everyone.

To me, this smells like Bel Azur (which I like) mixed with D&G Light Blue (which I like) mixed with a toilet bowl cleaner. This is a synthetic fail. I’ll stick with the regular Bel Azur.

My skin must amplify violet leaf like a maniac because that’s all I can smell! It’s done to this perfume what it did to Byredo’s Mojave Ghost: turned my stomach.

Man, does Tory Burch have some kind of sentimental attachment to vetiver? I see that note in nearly all of her fragrances and I can't stand it, especially when it's mixed with more traditionally feminine notes. It's the one note that ruined Love Relentlessly and Bel Azur for me--just too sharp, dry and jarring.

Wow...nice fragrance. I tried this at my local Sephora and was immediately enchanted by it. I got a sample, and I'll update with longevity and sillage. Even though this says it is for women, I believe it could be unisex.
