i used to see this guy who was a big car guy, and i remember we were at a gas station and i was telling him what flavours i thought each fluid for cars was. of course, he’d actually tasted some on accident, and he informed me that they in fact did not taste like blue razz or cherry. this kind of reminds me of him; making out in a gas station parking lot, and he guesses what flavour of lip smackers i’m wearing. i should’ve worn this when i saw him. he has aphantasia, but like with all his senses. to my understanding there are very specific things stored in his memory bank that can be triggered back into memory bc his brain finds it worth storing (or something like that). i should’ve worn this so that every time he’s in that damn garage or gassing up, the smell makes him thinks of how he has ghosted me after kinda hooking up in his car. if you or you know someone who had a car situationship, keep this in mind. anyway, i only have a vial of this so i feel like i can’t really describe what the initial first spritz smells like, but the first hit to the skin is harsh, slightly burnt rubber, but the rubber is strawberry flavoured, and it’s a giant wad of it stuck to a boardwalk. i’m envisioning a big red truck doing donuts on a boardwalk rn. the rubber scent stays, and the gas note kind of back seats it, only being sharp around the middle before it mellows out. it was a bit metallic, but i feel it’s less when it dries. this is honestly so wearable, if you’re looking for a weird fragrance to wear. this one is a good one to start with. heavy on the rubber tire, complimented by sweet carnival scents + a dash of floral, smothered against a dry boardwalk. i tested this before i went to sleep and omg it faded into a very faint, sweet cotton candy + bubble gum. so cute.

WOW! Okay. I think Toskovat might just be my favorite perfume house now. I initially avoided this one because I do not like sweet scents all that much, however with this scent, they’ve delivered exactly what I asked for and then some. It opens with a mindblowingly photorealistic bubblegum accord that is bright, chewy, juicy, with that slightly minty undertone that real bubblegum comes with too. But don’t be fooled. It was immediately apparent that there's also a striking similarity to Inexcusable Evil holding the hand of the bubblegum. This is if you took Inexcusable Evil and stuck it in a pile of Hubba Bubba. (I absolutely love Inexcusable Evil as well, mind you.) while it doesn’t fully deliver on the gasoline, what you do get is this grungy, industrial alt girl scent. It has a smoky scent of fireworks, asphalt on a boiling hot summer day. Summer pavement so hot it can fry an egg, literally melting the bottom of your shoes. You just stepped on some gum, and it sticks to the concrete with long, gooey pink strings. It’s edgy, pungent, loud, and unapologetically cloying. And I love it. This is bubblegum with a vengeance. It is a girl with a spiked baseball bat, popping gum and giving you the death stare. It's girlish in scent but punk at heart. There's so much attitude, like Roxy from Scott Pilgrim. Not for the faint of heart and can be headache-inducing, but still so addicting. If you want to smell like a character, not a person, this is it. You will smell sweet but not seem sweet at all. This will make people get away from you, a death stare perfume in the best way possible. Wearing this makes me feel like a bad bitch, and very happy :) Love. Love. Love. ❤️🩷❤️🩷 💣💣💣💥💥💥

Hit and run. Blood on the pavement. Cotton candy in the air. When I wear this I feel like a sweet girl (chewing gas station strawberry Hubba Bubba) now all mangled up on the road. You could say “Katherine why do you want to smell like a pretty little crash victim?” but you’re not my therapist so that would be a highly inappropriate question to ask. When I put this on, the first immediate scent I get is plastic and rubber like the bicycle section of Walmart (don’t ask why I’ve been in the bicycle section of Walmart or in any Walmart ever) but don’t let that put you off. Please. This is one of my most complimented perfumes for a reason. After a few seconds of Walmart tire it transforms on the skin giving way to the most delicious strawberry gum smell in the world. You can almost taste it. The sillage is decent, you leave a short little bubblegum trail for the first hour or so that you wear it. The dry down gets violent, that may be the crash itself. The sweetness fades and leaves you with gasoline, metal, pink roses on a wooden cross. It’s not just a fragrance but a moment, a story you get to experience first hand. The reason people around you will love it is because they want to smell the Crash (1996) unfold on your skin. It will draw them in close enough to die with you. This is an all-timer summer signature. Toskovat' elevates the medium of fragrance. I’d sell my soul to get my hands on the rest of their perfumes if this one is indicative of the quality of the rest. This was my most favorite blind buy that I’ve ever experienced. Try it for me. Please.

wow. this is truly something else. on paper my immediate reaction was ok this is a wild combination but definitely not for me. the bubblegum/candy/gasoline/metal/rubber blend is really elegant but just far outside my usual profile (honestly never imagined myself being able to wear a candy-of-center scent). it really does elicit a kind of sickly fairground energy. a leaky gas generator pumping for a carnival ride and cotton candy stuck to your fingers and the rubber of the rubber of the harnass that you are strapped in with. that said, when I put it on it was completely intoxicating. somehow completely sexy and alluring. I wore it for a full weekend and the more time I spent with it the more it became obvious that this truly is an oud scent at its core. but unlike any other oud scent I've ever encountered. it feels subtle in comparison to the edge of the other notes but it really grounds the scent and grows more pronounced throught the dry down. that's when the rose starts to ever so slightly rise to the surface as well. everyone around me was consistently asking me what I was wearing and it was a pretty common reaction of confusion and sexiness that the fragrance elicited. this is an easy 10/10 for me which really, really surprised me. quickly becoming one of my favorite things I've encountered.

First and foremost: this is not a safe blind buy in the slightest. It is an incredibly dense scent, and unless you're particularly entranced by industrial, chemical-y scents, this can be headache-inducing, unwearable, even repulsive... Age of Innocence is a constant clash between a loud, toxic, tooth-decaying bubblegum-y sweetness and the addictive smokiness one might find from huffing gasoline. In between that clash lies a persistent hypnotic nausea that can come either from a memory associated with these scents, or just how powerful and pronounced these scents are. Bolstered by the woodiness sitting at the base of this fragrance, its incredibly warm, and if you find a comfort inside all the nausea it creates, you might even find it becomes cozy after some time sitting on your skin. It's a shame this fragrance is not only incredibly steep in price (especially in comparison to Toskovat's other already expensive fragrances), but also hard to find, as it's not even in stock on their own website. I hope to own a full bottle one day, but the purchase would be hard to justify for something with such a niche appeal (I certainly wouldn't recommend this as a date night fragrance or a daily driver, by any means)

so, I have been wearing this every day since my first review (except for today and yesterday. I forgot. oops ❤️) and I’ve come back to give a more detailed account! first couple hours: you smell like a car crash up close. rubber, metal, and gasoline are the most prominent if you get up close to your skin. however, it leaves a lingering strawberry bubblegum sweetness wherever you go. you’ll catch a breath of it every time you turn your head. hours 2-4: the rose and the woody base notes become more prominent, but they’re still obscured a little by the rubber and gasoline. you’ve wandered away from the car crash and into a nearby forest. it’s a hot, dry summer. you spit out your pink bubblegum. hours 4+: you can hardly smell the crash anymore. you’ve found your way home through the woods, and when you open the back door and walk into the kitchen, there’s a plastic pot of cotton candy for you on the counter. the memory of the forest’s smell fades as you gorge yourself on mouthfuls of fluffy pink sugar. your hands smell sweet and sugary. you lick them clean, head to your room, and the memory of the day slowly begins to fade.

I bought this blind (bad idea, i know. i am painfully impulsive) after reading a single review and was honestly a little scared waiting for it to arrive after seeing all the negative reviews here. but I absolutely ADORE this fragrance. when you first put it on, the rubber and gasoline smells are completely overwhelming, like a punch in the face. however, even before it starts to dry down into something sweeter and more cloying, you leave a pink bubblegum scented trail all around you for the first hour or so into wearing it. it’s a very pretty, delicate scent, in contrast to the violent rubber that you’ll smell if you get up close. it gets more sugary the longer you wear it, but it still has a slight undertone of gasoline. It’s lasted 7-8 hours on my skin so far and even with only a single spray I still smell like sugar all over after so long. it’s honestly a very sugary smell so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who isn’t into sweetness or the sharpness of rubber. I love it, I’ll probably wear it every day til I die and be buried in it, but I can understand why it wouldn’t be for everyone. 10/10 from me <3

I love it. ❤️🍓🛞 I don't think it's very underground not even a strange scent, it's totally wearable, but for me, it is very unique. I am so happy I came across it. I was lusting for some sweet scent, but since gourmands, powdery sugars and sweet orientals are so hyped right now, I was craving for sth a little bit more special and I think this could be it. I love it how it tells a story (which was author's main point) and proof for this are all these comments. I really enjoyed reading all this associations, stories and feelings all the other people had. For me, this scent represents real sweetness. Like, what it looks like when you put a little bit of realism into a fairytale or how the sweetness feels when you grow up. Like when the young and the old mix together. It is very similar to Deliria from L'Artisan and I remember one reviewer describing Deliria like a memory from a childhood when you fall while climbing on a metallic fence and bite your lip, while chewing a bubblegum. Age of innocence is happy, but it is definitely not innocent or naive.

As stated before Toskovat isn’t a perfume, its a work of art, a play with memories and a flirtation with your senses, blurring reality. I find the stories behind each one to be rather grim in tone, even Last Birthday Cake isn’t an uplifting gourmand, as sweet and potent as it is, it carries a rather haunting undertone. On contrary upon first smell i found this to be the most playful and optimistic out of all. I was almost worried if im missing something, but then looked to the name and smiled. As these scents all do, it either evokes a memory or plants one. The memory this carries for me is being little, in Europe, somewhere in the countryside, hot summer, going to camp, or a beach resort, in a bus on dusty roads, getting car sick from the smell of leather seats and gasoline and bumpy ride, as your mom is holding a plastic bag in front of you and keeps giving you sweet anti nausea gum. In the moment it feels like true hell, but now looking back it feels like a true age of innocence...

Wow. Opening was burnt rubber, hot asphalt, and synthetic strawberry. Very sweet but in a scary chemical way. I am not sure if I am sad at the absence of gasoline--I was really curious to smell it integrated into a scent like this, it is a cardinal scent of my childhood, but I am also highly sensitive to it and it makes me feel sick. I feel alert and slightly unsettled by this fragrance, but not sickened by gasoline. I do get a hint of motor oil on metal and rubber though. Combined, the candy sweetness and mechanical scents strangely produce a licoricey and anisey fragrance, that reminds me a little of Loverdose by Diesel, but with detectable danger. While it is not my favourite family of scents, the experience of such an unusual fragrance is captivating and I enjoy it quite a lot, and for a person such as myself it is wearable, so for that reason I love it. So interesting, and a resonant story-memory alongside it.
- em inglês
love this one as i find it to be such a beautiful and interesting combination considering on paper its so polarizing. the top notes draw you in and then become muted by the dense middle and base notes, but the faded sweetness lingers rounding out the ruggedness. the rose is subtle but harmonizes well with the rest of the middle and base notes. whatever smells smoky is likely coming from a combination of the rubber/metal/gas and the earthy natural base notes. compared to other toskovat scents, this one is very wearable and perfect for people who both love or don’t love rose. it also vaguely smells like one of the incense they use, although it’s almost as if they created their own special brand new variant. i think it’s ideal for all seasons and i didn’t know something this abstract could be this surprisingly very well done
- em inglês
Genuinely embarrassed by how much I like age of innocence. Starts out with a heavy alcohol and gasoline smell with the nuances of the metal and rubber notes appearing with time. The bubble gum and strawberry notes dominate as age of innocence dries down, with some gasoline noticeable on the skin. The smoky, rubbery, metallic edge of this completely destroys any pretenses I had against pink sugary scents. As a fully grown adult, I feel like I'm supposed to regard overly sugary gourmand scents with disdain, but I cannot deny how good I smell and how sexy I feel with this on. This fragrance really takes me back to the high school days when I was constantly overspraying pink sugar, but with so much more bite, edge, and complexity, than most other sugary gourmands in this style. However... That price tag...

Objective review for blind buying. No note interpretation or creative descriptions: It’s a fume of gasoline that smells sweet like candy. Not “bubblegum” or “cotton candy” or “caramel”, just vaguely candy rather than raw sugar. Every review here is interpreting that smell and trying to pick those two notes apart, but that is what you’ll smell. It’s a well-blended fragrance, which isn’t overpowering. Unless someone is absolutely repulsed by the smell of car fumes (very few people are), wearing this wouldn’t offend anyone. Composition: 5/5 No harsh notes, composition stays consistent during the dry down, emanates from skin constantly, pulses well during temperature adjustments throughout the day. Personal preference: 5/5 The most wearable Toskovat for me.

The fragrance opens with an explosion of sweet, enticing notes: Bubble Candy, Cotton Candy and Strawberries. These scent notes evoke happy, innocent childhood memories, immersing you in sweetness and warmth. Next is the appearance of elegant and sophisticated notes: Gasoline, Rubber, Metallic Notes and Rose. These notes create an interesting contrast with the initial sweet notes, bringing maturity and seduction to the overall scent. The end of the olfactive journey is the perfect blend of warm and deep notes: Agarwood (Oud), Vetiver, Cedarwood and Cade Oil. These notes create a solid foundation, helping to keep the scent on your body for many hours. It reminds me of Tobacco Jam with the smell of strawberry jam and tobacco. 😘😍🥰❤️❤️❤️

it opens exactly like Inexcusable Evil and Anarchist A-, the heavy dusty chemical explosion + a fokin strawberry:))) there is nothing feminine about what we smell the first couple of hours. oud, vetiver, car - everything in its right place. but sometimes yeah we get a whiff of a good bubblegum and burnt sugar, that turn into a lacquer on the drydown. if you’re a performative twink and the names like Terre d’Hermès, Black Lacquer, Under the Stars and Oud Wood speak to you - go for it hun, put on the notifications on Toskovat’s stories and spend your 325€, do it!!! 9/10 i expected it to be more childish but i don’t see myself wearing it frequently as a woman
- em inglês
At first I had a major headache from the bubblegum and gasoline contrast. I was fully convinced I was going to hate this fragrance. After having it settle for a little over an hour, I couldn’t get enough of the scent; definitely took me through a roller coaster of thoughts about it. I loved the softness smelling behind the bubblegum and strawberry with the punch of rubber and gasoline. By the end of the day, it settled to this soft earthy scent with a kiss of rose; and I usually hate rose! People close to me could smell it and loved how it didn’t smell overpowering before your end of the day shower.
- em inglês
Jumping for joy rn... I did not expect the metallic smell to compliment the bubblegum in such an airy, wonderful way. After smelling the disastrous Sui Genesis, I was very scared of trying this but I actually love it. She's so rugged yet sweet that it’s almost perfect, but there is an underlying synthetic note that I noticed in Annacamento as well which I don’t think is purposeful. Overall a very complex, non-traditional gourmand. The Gasoline part reminds me of Dead Dinosaur by Snif where it’s very floral to compliment the sharpness of the gas. If only the full bottles were less expensive...
- em inglês
Got this as a sample and I’ve found a new favorite. This is my introduction to Toskovat and it exceeded my expectations. It opens with a sweet candy blast that filled the air as I sprayed it on a card. I came back a few minutes later to the sensual dry down that toned down the sweetness and amped up the car smells. My coworker and I (both lovers of gasoline smell) instantly fell in love. I could see how the intense juxtaposition could be problematic for some, but for me it was heaven. Can't wait to wear this!
- em inglês
i think if i were to be buried in this my corpse would sit up in my coffin at LEAST every full moon or something to smell it on myself. this scent is beyond addicting. when you first apply it, it has that adrenaline-inducing punch of the gasoline note, but as it sits on your skin, the bubblegum lingers in the same way it would sticking to the skin around your mouth. intoxicating without being too mature, delicate without being too simplistic. there is a place reserved in my heart for this fragrance.
- em inglês
this is an oddly wearable fragrance. the fairy floss comes in quiet heavily in the beginning (which i personally adore) but with just a hint of gasoline and wood, but in a very subtle and balanced way. i reminds me of a summer night in my country. i didn’t expect to love this, but here we are. i wouldn’t recommend blind buying, though, just in case.
- em inglês
My favorite fragrance, it’s addicting. Smells awesome and very unique, but it’s NOT as powerful as I think it should be especially for the price. If it were stronger and lasted longer I’d give it 5 stars but I give it a solid 4. Good enough for me to buy another bottle a day after receiving my first bottle, it’s just that good smelling.
- em inglês
This reminds me a lot of those old scented Strawberry Shortcake dolls, if you left one outside at the gas pump in the sun for a few days. I kinda like it in a weird way. Definitely a very ~*different*~ smell, gets sweeter and less gasoline-y with time. Lipsmackers edible bubblegum chapstick if you found it on the side of the road
- em inglês
Damn, I love this. I'm noticing I'm really liking auto garage-y type scents and this one is just fabulous. The fruit and bubblegum are a perfect mixture for the gasoline and rubber. I was surprised that I'm not turned off by the bubble gum but it is actually delightful. It's not bubble gum like a cute-sy way it's kind sexy.
- em inglês
It's very Ultraviolence, tutti-frutti gas-station chic, Queen of the motorcycle club vibes. For the first few hours, it smells just like the sweet, petrol like scent of a cotton candy machine. After that, it becomes indescribably sexy. it lasts about 8 hours on my skin. 10/9
- em inglês
my first introduction to toskovat!! insane how you can smell all the notes here. strong gasoline and rubber with hints of bubblegum in the background, reminds me of being in a gas station shop buying a sweet treat for the road :)
- em inglês
Its not strange, its just unique, a beautiful strawbery scent , very long lasting and of course the unique facets of it are more than enoyable notes
- em inglês
Love how the scents connected with the given story, smell journey is absolutely amazing.

Reminds me of those old Kool-Aid flavored chapsticks. Two sprays is definitely enough.

Artwork, beautiful fruity scent, not strange at all, not a blind buy of course ahah

this smells exactly like a candy store located inside a hospital. new fav scent.

this is what i imagine the album “crush resist” by ecco2k would smell like.

I was lucky enough to grab a handful of Toskovat samples shortly before their social media explosion some months ago when Inexcusable Evil went viral and their decants became impossible to come by. Every so often since then, I spritz Age of Innocence on my wrist when I know I have no further plans for the day, just to feel something. Just kidding! Kind of. While I've only had the pleasure of sampling three fragrances from Toskovat, I get the sense that these guys are more interested in curating an experience than a crowd-pleaser that will provoke a shower of compliments and head-turns. Maybe head-turns, but not in the way you might hope if your goal is simply smelling good. Although nearly all of their perfumes are flagged as unisex, I found Age of Innocence to be the only one (of what I sampled) feminine enough for me to humor wearing. I still think I'd have to be a little drunk or on a life-altering confidence streak to not feel self-conscious wearing this outside of the house, but anything can happen. This is an olfactory treat in the same way that meandering through an Anselm Kiefer or Francis Bacon exhibit might be. "This made me feel weird, but I'm glad it exists." Opening with a candy-sweet bubblegum and strawberry that is more akin to a scented plastic Strawberry Shortcake doll from the early 2000s than an actual strawberry, Age of Innocence momentarily seems like a very normal (if not slightly juvenile) sweet scent. Within seconds, the rubber hits you like a semi-truck barreling down a hill with no brakes applied. Imagine this; you're going to pick up your car from the autobody shop. The mechanic has doused himself in Bleu de Chanel at the beginning of the day, and now only the oud base notes radiate from his sweaty t-shirt. The shop is heavy with the scent of gasoline, tires, oil rag cans, and rusty tools after a long day. Someone sprays a strawberry-scented Bath and Body Works mist in an attempt to mask the odor. It doesn't work. The rubber note here is PUNGENT. I grew up around cars so it doesn't spook me too bad, but it is not the wearable, light-touch rubber you might find in a much more palatable scent like Gumamina's Odile. The dominating note in Age of Innocence is hot tire, through and through. Being entirely genuine, I do like this fragrance. I think it tells a mysterious story with a blend that is not horribly disjointed, given how stark the contrast between notes are. To love it, I think I'd have to see myself wearing it which, at the time of writing this, is just not probable for me. Yes, this is headache inducing. I would argue it's part of the experience. Maybe it's unfair that I judge with different criteria for a brand like Toskovat vs. your typical floral-musky-soapy-sensual sweet fragrance (a genre of which I enjoy many examples!), but it's pretty apparent to me that this is striving to accomplish something very different. There's a case to be made about something like Age of Innocence or any of Toskovat's other nose-bending perfumes existing purely to provoke, but that's true in all mediums. And I think I can safely assume that everybody has at least one small thing that they sincerely appreciate that is decidedly unpopular. In the sarcastic words of musician (aptly named) Perfume Genius, "When music is unlistenable... when movies are unwatchable.... that's art baby."
- em inglês
This is a BEAST. I wore two sprays, one behind each ear. Everytime I slightly moved my head, I caught a STRONG whiff of this. I also tested it on my wrist. TWELVE hours later, I could still smell it on my bare skin. This is really impressive considering 1) I went to bed and my wrist would have been rubbing against my pyjamas and my bedding all night and 2) perfume usually only lasts so long on clothing. I can tell this is a quality perfume and yes, it's worth the price tag if you like it enough to get a full bottle. It will last. It really does well at evoking childhood. Candyfloss and artificial strawberries smell like candy and innocence. The gasoline and burnt rubber are there, creeping and uneasy in the background like childhood trauma. This is art. Wearable art - and its blended beautifully. It works surprisingly well but it won't be for everyone. Let it be said though, after an hour or so the gasoline fades and the scent of candy remains, particularly the strawberry seemed to linger longest on my skin. This isn't the type of perfume I usually gravitate towards due to wearing pink sugar in high school (hence finding "pink gourmand" perfumes juvenile) But I am VERY impressed.

This fragrance is so fun. I keep coming back to it for the vivid imagery it evokes. The notes stay pretty consistent throughout its drying but it does sweeten up and soften more towards the end. This smells like going to a small town auto parts store with your aunt and her too-old boyfriend in a beater that desperately needs new brake pads and a wash. Both smoke exclusively in said beater and have a stack of nearly dead, pink Little Trees hanging on the rearview mirror. Your aunt is wearing some nauseatingly sticky sweet berry body spray from the dollar general while smacking on some fruity bubble gum. She doesn't offer you a piece. At the auto parts store the tar used to fill all the cracks in the parking lot is tacky, moldable. It radiates with the heat of the afternoon summer sun. Gives with a nudge from the toe of your sneakers. You pick up on all the greasy oil stains and hot tires while never losing that unbearable, sugary hell that is your aunts signature scent. All in all a productive day. Your aunt plays best of the 80's the entire ride back. 10/10 would never wear in public.
- em inglês
This isn't offensive. It's strong and dominant. It smells like an aged (maybe 40s's) individual. Main note I pick up is rubber but it's surprisingly pleasant. If smells like a doctors office in a good way. I wish this scent played more into the childhood aspect with more candy/sweet notes - but I do understand we are supposed to be smelling an individual who has aged and wishes they could go back in time. The candy sweetness is intended to be a distant memory. Out of all my perfumes so far, this one has been the most interesting and strong. I enjoy it and I think it's great for occasions where I want to smell masculine and industrial. I think a lot of people inherently perceive this perfumer as a troll. They don't take the perfumes seriously and assume everything put out is supposed to smell bad, almost like beanboozled - they go in cautious expecting to be grossed out and that skews their judgement. This isn't juvenile edginess it's actually an art form that takes great skill. The perfumer can create really deep memory evoking perfumes that smell GOOD.

it opens very strongly with bubblegum and strawberry and then u start to smell the metallic rubber which is a shock to the system and when they mix it truly is like ur at a gas station truck stop on that long road trip or nostalgic childhood carnival with the scent of the cotton candy mixing with carnival ride machinery fuel the bubblegum cotton candy make it bearable but i smelled more of the rubber essence than the gasoline which was disappointing because i like how gasoline smells ............ while i agree with “10/10 would never wear in public” i also appreciate a scent that can evoke imagery and storytelling without saying anything that being said, the scent lingers way too long for my liking. one spritz on my wrist lasted hours even after washing it off and as it dries down and wears it’s basically only that metallic rubber smell. made me sick after smelling it for too long i don’t regret buying the little sample though; when i saw a perfume with notes as strange as these i could not go my entire life without smelling it
- em inglês
So yes, this is one of those Toskovat fragrances where you take a look at the notes and think "pfft, okay..." But, after smelling this, I can say that it totally works. It starts out very sweet and fruity, but that rubber and gasoline smell is prevalent right from the start, sitting underneath everything. That combo gets more prevalent as it dries down, but that sweetness stays throughout the whole thing. This is definitely less divisive than Inexcusable Evil, I mean, what isn't, but it still has enough of an edge that sets it apart from mainstream fragrances and might be challenging to some. I've shown this fragrance to many people; they can pick up on the sweetness, but can't quite place what's lurking underneath. One of my favorite things is explaining the notes and then seeing them actively recontextualize the fragrance. They all say the same thing, "It works."
- em inglês
Toskovat' has been a fragrance house I put off with trying, mostly because of the prices, its stuck-up sort of marketing and reactions to other fragrance houses, and its consistent unavailability. However, trying this has made me think about trying the other Toskovat' fragrances on my list. It's not as strong and violent with its rubber smell than people say it is, for some reason, and honestly this scent felt backwards for me: it dried out into the sweetness and began with the rubber and gas. Maybe my nose is telling its own story. Despite its ridiculous pricing, it is a well-crafted scent, and the smells feel incredibly natural to me. Interesting, I guess.
- em inglês
Such an interesting scent. Personally, I'd say it's bubble gum /sweets plus a fog machine. You know, the artificial fog generator our school used at school discos. As a connoisseur of weird notes, I like it a lot. After checking out Fantomas by Nasomatto, which also has both sweet and smoky/plasticky notes, I tried a decant of this perfume and I like it sooo much more. It strongly leans feminine in my opinion (whereas Fantomas was quite the opposite) and it's just right for my taste. I also like the story behind it and the whole marketing agenda.
- em inglês
Berries with a very realistic gasoline sharpness. The berries really reminded me of things like Maison Crivelli's Cuir Infrarouge/Oud Maracujá and FM's The Moon. The gasoline isn't long lived so this becomes mostly a sweet berry scent with a light oudy undertone. My mom was a bit disgusted by how synthetic she found it but I don't really find it that synthetic at all (especially compared to Born Screaming's opening, that one is quite screechy). Painfully overpriced. Why on Earth is this being compared to Suscepto?
- em inglês
Very sweet in the opening. Very confusing. The sharpness of the gasoline comes thru after a while. I did not know what to think i was very confused but inevitably i slowly realized that this scent was so very familiar to me. It smelled like my childhood. Like road trips and rest stations with their big metal vending machines that dispensed that sweet sugary bubblegum and those bouncy rubber balls. It unfortunately also reminds me of getting nauseous on those road trips.

I could really smell the gasoline right off the bat, and then came the sickly sweet candy smell. It smelled like skid marks on the road mixed with strawberry or cotton candy flavored lip gloss. I loved the mechanical/industrial notes, they mixed so well with the sweet notes, once it dried down I could smell rose along with metal, it reminded me of a hospital room with flowers. I’m very impressed with the story and visual this fragrance painted for me.

Oooo wow!! Not sure what to make of it? So weird, like it because is so innovative and after 10 mins smells like gasoline and rubber! So so bizzare! I have 6 samples from this house, for sure interesting! I have to sample it again but I do smell the strawberries too.

At first glance, was was that? Sweet and fruity then suddenly mixed with rubber and burn gasoline. Very challenging but the base is soo good. The strawberry kinda like imaginary authors cape heartache without pine green notes. Wearable at least for me

this fragrance reminds me so much of childhood in particular it reminded me of finding old lollies in the back of the pantry or getting expired lollies in $2 shops it’s dusty dirty but sweet and confectionery and there is this blissful nature to it

wooow! this took me right back to my childhood.. it totally reminded me of those hubba bubba strawberry gum packets with just a little rubber note! my nose didnt pick up much on the gasoline note, but this scent really works in magical ways

Cotton candy and rubber with oud. Surprisingly tame, considering the gasoline and metal notes. I liked it but I was expecting more. I was excited about the gasoline note, so it was a bit of let down when it wasn't that prominent to me

It smells like a certain chapstick from the early 2000s, it’s either cherry, strawberry, or bubblegum. Great fragrance though! It’s playful and unexpected, my girlfriend loves it!

This opens up with a strong baby smell, baby vomit included, and quickly transforms into a mix of dust and an artificial sweet treat that only a toddler can enjoy.
