Picked this up a few months ago, I liked it but I couldn't really figure it out. At first I could smell something like a hot summer afternoon walking down an unpaved, wooded trail, you drop your bag and what was a fresh pile of cash/change in the bottom of your cool purse has turned into a waxy sticky mess when you realize the ball pen busted all over a rock, covered in ink (your loose change is coated in some bug spray or sunscreen) and the only way to retrieve your valuables is to cover yourself in ink in the baking sun. I get it now, (Italy) I can see the woman she is the devil wearing Prada, she has red patent leather pumps on and is walking through her lush green courtyard to her convertible. Her clothes smell like fresh, clean linens, the disaster struck after she meticulously put herself together for the day. After realizing the ink has not only made a mess of the innards of her expensive bag, in a shuffle she sees it is all over her shoes, and she has began to sweat. She calls for help. Her driver runs towards the courtyard with a bottle of sparkling water, the mistress grabs the bottle and dumps it on her shoes, she snatches his handkerchief and proceeds to start rubbing in a frenzied effort to rid herself of the "filth." She is notorious to arriving to board meetings a little tipsy. Flustered, she orders her driver to pour her a drink as she urges him inside, following closely behind, covered in ink, sweat, and "holy water" or her guilty attempt to absolve her sins. As she makes it inside, she downs the whiskey she was given and grabs her black patent pumps instead and orders for another shot. She finds a plump white cotton towel and does her best with the ink on her hands and bag. She knows she will be late, she did her best to clean up, but her eyes are now bloodshot, and the powder she used to try to freshen up with mixed with her damp mascara and sweat. They head out. And this is what she smells like.

I love this one! At first, it strangely reminds me of a Bic pen, but that impression disappears into something far more evocative. It smells exactly like the church I grew up in. This isn't warm incense or golden candlelight. It's cold. Stone floors after rain. Holy water. Melted candle wax. The faint smell of a priest's robes as he walks past. Fresh skin. Clean sweat. Winter air drifting through an old building. When I wear it, I'm back at a long Easter Mass. I'm a child again, sitting at the end of a wooden pew while dusk slowly settles outside. The stained-glass windows throw muted colours across the stone walls as the priest delivers his sermon. Everything is still. Quiet. Almost unnervingly so. Then another image appears. An empty room with faded yellow walls. Bare except for a chair. Cold enough that every sound lingers. It isn't frightening, but it carries the same strange solitude as a confessional, somewhere between sanctuary and isolation. That unsettling emptiness is what makes this fragrance so compelling. I showered wearing it, and I could still smell it on my skin the following day. It eventually melts into a soft skin scent, but it refuses to disappear completely, as if it wants to stay close rather than announce itself. I've never smelled another fragrance quite like this. It's clean without being soapy, sacred without smelling overtly religious, nostalgic without becoming sentimental. Haunting, contemplative, and quietly beautiful. One of my favourites from the house.

There's no doubt that the notes are there for 1. Shock Value and 2. Telling of a story. And look where it's got me. You cannot help but be intrigued. You WANT to try this. Job done, I must say. Bizarre notes and marketing aside, this is a creatively crafted scent, and the creator's honest attempt at the craft does come through. The first 3-5 mins is a little confusing. I could not detect any note other than ink. In a few minutes, a boozy freshness comes in. You know the warmth you feel inside when you down a shot of whiskey or tequila, and your nostrils dilate and your brain feels the burn? That. Warm, but fresh. 🥃 Then comes a phase where this smells like wet concrete/marble. To imagine it, think of the Holy Water Stoup or Font in an old church. Water and Stone. This is a very unique smell that most Christians will be aware of. ✝️ After that a calm antique wood and frankincense takes over, and it stays there for the rest of the journey. 3.0 out of 5? Clearly mostly by people who've never tried it. This is artistic, not mass pleasing. Give it a try, and you'll weirdly long for more. My Ratings: Scent: 9/10 🎖️ Uniqueness: 10/10 🎖️ Packaging: 9/10 🎖️ Longevity: 9/10 🎖️ Sillage: 8/10 Price: 7/10 Smelly Cat on YouTube

I had the opportunity to test this on my skin at a fragrance swap and man oh man is it gorgeous. Honestly, I tried Anarchist Antichrist for the novelty. I did not expect to enjoy it, especially because my prior experience sampling Empty Wishes Well was underwhelming, but here I am writing a positive review. I must have smelled over 50 niche perfumes today, and this one was my favorite. Anarchist Antichrist is surprisingly wearable, at least on my skin. It is warm and inviting while maintaining uncanny and offputting qualities that make me do a double-take and come back for more. Don't ask me how or why the combination of maple-tinged whiskey, the slightly burnt/animalic scent of ink, and the abrasive synthetic smell of plastic is appealing because I'm a bit baffled myself. All I know is that I can earnestly see myself wearing this on a regular basis and would like to add a full bottle to my collection one day, if not for the Toskovat scalpers and rising prices. Perfume is a hell of a drug.

Plastic, money, ink, church-y incense woody. The whiskey isn't coming to the front for me. I am trying to decide if the snow is of the naughty variety or if it's actual fallen snow. I do smell the naughty kind, it's very distinctive. The closest thing I can compare it to is opening a bag of quinoa for the first time. I am getting a note of polyester kinda fabric, I'm assuming this is priest clothes. I love how people are getting so annoyed with this aspect of it. Use your brain. Think about fabrics that a priest could be wearing. Close your eyes, and sense if you smell it. If you don't, it doesn't mean it's imaginary. We all are having different experiences with our senses. Anyhow, this smells really good on me and I'm sure it will smell even better on my husband eeeee :)

  • em inglês

Honestly, I only found this scent because I was hunting around the "notes" section in this site. I was intrigued by "priest robes" scent and my eyes just kept getting bigger as I read the entire profile but I must say... I love this scent.. I think it could skew on the side of masculine but it is unisex in my opinion. I wouldn't claim to have a sophisticated nose, but to me it is a bit spicy with warmth and something slightly sweet, but not edible or like sticking your nose in a bouquet. It's fresh and I keep catching whiffs long after applying, which is rare for me. It lasts a long time and it makes me feel vibrant and confident. I'm definitely going to be purchasing one of the spray options, only sad that it is about the same price as Creed!

A Xerox printer that's been running for hours is on the verge of overheating. Mother of God, it's true. It's all true. You may be perplexed. Should you order a sample vial? DO IT—TOSKOVAT is the REAL DEAL. These scents of theirs are brilliant, photorealistic, olfactory journeys. Yes, it finishes like priests' clothes, what can I say? Yes, it starts with plastic and snow, brings you next into the real scent of money, and that many a fragrance house has playfully toyed with but has never done it like this. This is paper money, man. Dirty and familiar with the hustle. You're left in a five-hundred-year-old church, which has been burning incense daily for the same amount of time.

This is a truly beautiful creation. Urban, creative, original. Stays well on the skin, good sillage. Elegant, UNIQUE and hard to describe. Unlike most pedantic reviewers in here (that are anything BUT those 3 things) that leave shit comments without ever smelling the perfume, I actually couldn't care less what the 'real formula' is - I love the fact this young perfumer can create smells that are familiar to real life, day snippets, memories of many things. I encourage everyone to try this first and let themselves surprised at the beautiful scent this leaves on the skin 5 minutes later.. This is truly an incredible work

  • em inglês

Can't get over this gorgeous creation. After many months from simply trying it on from my friend, I m still here in awe today wearing it. Forget the notes, forget the hype. This makes lost memories arise. This is pure emotion. Suspension. It's a powerful time capsule. Smells like quality solitude and sacred, empty space for insights and enlightening. Super weird, gorgeous. Incredible. It's being in a place and time disconnected from the present moment. I love the feeling. Pure sorcery. I feel like inception in my brain going from one level to another. If I had to pick two words : suspension and insight. Crazy 🖤🖤🖤

(F/37yo) I've smelled this few days ago and I really want a decant to test it on the skin. My initial thoughts after smelling this on a paper strip is quite shocking. This isn't as bad as I thought it would be. More so, I'd buy it. This is a whole mood... It's plastic-y, probably from the waxy nuances, but not in a bothering way. It's ink-y, boozy like a chapel's private office after a mass... but the priest sitting there is far from any good. "Broken promises". I want to smell like this on darker days.

Like walking into a very very very old European hospital with granite floors except you are paying American prices. This perfume is extremely sterile. Smells like a mix of latex gloves and alcohol, the smell of getting vaccinated. I love it. Someone said I should wear it during halloween and that makes so much sense to me. The notes are surprisingly true. The credit card/ plastic smell but more woody. Not feminine at all but wouldn’t say its masculine either. 10/10 sensory experience.

Love LOve LOVE ! LOve Toskovat and his idea of what perfumery should be like, very Proustian. Perfume should be a memory trapped in a bottle. A feeling. A specific slab of brain soup and emotions. I love a few of his creations, some are really so particular that i love, but couldn't wear on the daily and only for very special momentums. This one made a lasting impression on me and i find it incredible and beautiful to wear. Delicious. LOVE !

  • em inglês

I keep going back to this fragrance after being so insulted by it. The first smell was plastic and harsh and then on the second round I saw the vision. It's like a romantic version of Patrick Bateman would wear this. It's severe and mean, but terribly, terribly charming. I hate myself for loving this and how often I wear it. It's probably perfect if you're trying to get into your villain era.

  • em inglês

Actually smells good. Like a church, with a lot of candle wax but in a good inoffensive mysterious way. Though i can't hear any snow or credit cards plastic bags in it (unfortunately). Projection and longevity is beastly amazing so 30ml variant is more than enough for a season or two. If you want to smell like priest, or some other mysterious cultist - this is your must have.

  • em inglês

Crazy pungent, only perfume thats ever burned my sinuses, i have to smell it the way you smell chemicals in a labortarory, wafting the fumes towards my nose with my hand, otherwise it genuinely hurts. It smells amazing tho, very strong alcoholic tobacco ish extremely primal evil its genuinely the best perfume i ever bought, im buying the full bottle as soon as i can.

  • em inglês

I really like this. It starts off very plasticy, but after a while on skin, that plastic smell fades down a bit, and it starts to smell amazing. I love The whiskey note. Anarchist A is strong and unique fragrance, not for everyone. I get why people would disslike this due to the boozy plasticy wax that hits you right after spraying it, but the dry down is amazing!!

  • em inglês

I have a sample :-) I love it, I am sure the creator tried to create these specific notes and I must say it's a love from me! It's strong!! Very bizzare smell like old antique wood incorporated with floral oils! I really like this one as crazy as it's sounds it's actually a very good unique scent !

  • em inglês

The opening smells likes a strong peated whiskey, to the extent it felt like I had a swig and burnt my nose hairs. I really enjoy the dry down. I get beautiful incense, the woods and resin are very rich and sexy. I can see my self wearing this on date night and feeling like a true femme fatale.

  • em inglês

You guys realize that it doesnt actually smell like "credit cards" and "snow" right? It's trying to allude to the fact that it smells photorealistically of cocaine, amongst other things. One of my favorite niche fragrances ive ever had the pleasure of wearing. Truly is a work of art.

  • em inglês

I tried putting a plastic bag over my head to get the note but I couldn't breathe!!!! Had to tie it up to be sure I'd smell it too. So sad I nearly died lmao :( As for the snow note, I totally don't get that. But then again, I usually smell my snow through a rolled up $5 note.

  • em inglês

Brazen alcoholic opening, woody dry-down tempered by ink and plastic. This scent is not unisex, it's a nasty sweaty man fumbling with his wallet. Wearing it feels like the serenity after admitting the worst thing you ever did. Cold-weather mainstay for me.

  • em inglês

This is great for someone who likes to create a little anarchy ! Grandmas peacefully feeding birds with white wonderbread until I, the Anarchist, comes walking buy, with the oblique smell of Sweet Plastic? What is that smell? Its anarchy!

  • em inglês

Stunning creation. Every time I spray this, I smell a mechanic's workshop - in the best way - like a memory. I love it. Smells like old petrol and oil, but dries down quite woody. I recommend a sample before you buy a full bottle

  • em inglês

plastic, sure, I guess. listen, if you have sexual fantasies about priests, go for it. you'll hear comments saying that you shouldn't wear it, but just ignore them. this isn't nose pleaser - this is a conversation-ender.

  • em inglês

this smells like having a heated siutationship with a priest and burying your head in his chest and being able to smell the church candles and incense and whiskey then we do cocaine off a jesus statue

  • em inglês

Addictive. Woody, plastic, masculine leaning. Versatile, but best saved for cooler weather. My girlfriend can't keep her hands off me when I have this on.

  • em inglês

Delicious, ashy incense and plastic. Woody, leather, and mourning. A little bit of gunpowder too. Kinda sexy but maybe that's just me.

as an olfactory experimental master, david lev got himself goated. “evoking memories you didn’t know you have” yes hun. as for the notes, it had a heavy whiskey / gunpowdery opening, as if you mixed Jazz Club + Inexcusable Evil. can’t recall the coke’s scent, but the perfume definitely has sth addictive to it. the projection was intimate to me, as if it got absorbed into my skin. probably because i was smelling Inexcusable Evil all the day before, or just because the perfume fits me?? (Anarchist/Antichrist i repeat) from time to time i was getting a whiff of ink, fresh printed paper and a hot credit card that’s been just pulled out of atm. or as if you’re laying under a car. which hit you. about an hour later, i got a cherry note, not a regular gourmand cherry, but a cherry wood or a maraschino cherry that they put on top of cakes. the scent got more agreeable, not a lot of people voted for the sacra resin green in composition, but i was getting the resin, the flower and the fruit, and it was prominent. sometimes it was giving a cliché “expensive perfume” scent, something you can feel when passing by a perfume store which uses heavy marketing strategies. along with this i could notice a candle, it brings church to the mind, not an old gothique church, but a modern, corrupt one. around 3h later the scent got indeed intimate, it recalled By The Fireplace but in a more complex way. the resin and the wood were most present on my skin. important: at the moment it was difficult to explain, what exactly does it smell like, it was all about the associations. a cloudy morning on a train station, in where you got not because you’d want to, but because you need to get out of home in order to survive in this capitalism. 7/10 as for now, maybe it needs time to masurate cuz it’s a fresh sample.

  • em inglês

My take on Anarchist A by Toskovat': It opens with an extremely industrial scent, almost like harsh machinery, with a backdrop of warm plastic. After a few minutes, I start to detect notes of whiskey and something reminiscent of warm paper not the typical “book paper” sort of smell, but more like freshly printed money from an ATM: slightly warm, with that distinct inky, synthetic smell. As it dries down, it turns into woods. But overall, the scent feels synthetic and empty there’s nothing comforting about it. It feels lifeless. For me, that’s actually praise. The imagery it evokes is of a corrupt rich man or a priest, in this context constantly drunk, reeking of whiskey as he slides his credit card into an ATM and pulls out stacks of newly printed money. The card is still warm from the machine, and the notes are fresh with ink. His life feels empty and pointless, so he craves any dopamine hit he can get. Even without diving into abstract imagery, it’s clear this smell is quite industrial. Honestly, I really like it, especially from an artistic perspective. I don’t understand why people get so pressed over “imaginary notes.” To me, that’s kind of stupid. You don’t need to be a genius to realize these notes serve as part of the brand’s marketing strategy and artistic vision. At least from my understanding, Toskovať is a brand focused on artistic expression rather than pragmatic, wearable perfumes.

  • em inglês

on me, this scent was aggressively sterile. instead of whiskey, i just got the essence of rubbing alcohol. i can actually smell the snow note, but that's because i've previously tried perfumes with snow notes, i don't think i'd recognize it otherwise. the ink scent is VERY aggressive when it's first put on, but not after. it dries down into a very musky wood scent, and that sacra resin i can DEFINITELY smell. i can totally understand how this may give the impression of an old church, but it is not particularly my breed of smell. i think if you like very woodsy, resin heavy smells, then this may be for you. it's unfortunate the review section is so full of people just trying to be funny, because this is a pretty solid scent otherwise. it is understandable what they were going for. this brand has a habit of using their notes to put some legitimate, and others as part of the "story" they tell with their scents (quite literally labelled memories on their website). these are more of an art form to this brand rather than a business based in making explicitly wearable scents. having tried two others, this was one of the most normal out of all of them ironically. i may find myself wearing this one out depending on my outfit for the day!

  • em inglês

The scent is very very heavy on fresh rubber and industrial-esque plastic notes, that clear kinda plastic they make those see through backpacks with. It's oppressive, overbearing, a pure assault on the nose, but there's something about it that made me keep wanting to smell it. It's like walking into a tire store and being hit in the face with the scent of tires and plastic. The whiskey is only there for a few moments after spraying, and then it's pretty much purely acrid rubber and plastic for the following few hours, maybe with somewhat of a woody undertone to it. The money aspect can be somewhat picked out if you smell hard enough, but it is a largely unpleasurable. It's nice when it becomes a skin scent, though. Thats when those base notes start to shine through. Mostly the olibanum resin and wood, but still with the chemical plastic and rubber on top. I suppose it wasn't made for daily wear, however. Definitely not worth the price, I will say that. Too expensive for something so largely unwearable. However, I do find myself coming back to it once in a while. It's like one of those gross smells that for some reason, also smells good? Strange stuff. I hate it and sort of like it.

  • em inglês

First whiff before spraying, all I get is the sweetest bubblegum. First spray and the bubblegum turns harsh. Like bubble gum scented band-aid , open wound and antiseptic. There is an extremely specific, nostalgic children's hospital scent. Liquid medicine. Something so sweet that it's medicinal. A hint of smoky alcohol. Synthetic heat. Fireball. Settling in it smells like a cheap sexy night out. Like a hookah lounge. But still a warm boozy bubble gummy medicine feeling. Something aquatic is coming and, mixed with the candy flavored medicine, it feels like a children's bathroom. It's an interesting juxtaposition paired with the cheap sexy night out. Starts out so strong but fades to a skin scent fairly quickly. It also kind of smells like the backrooms of a new catholic church. The candy note fades but medicinal/boozy/church vibes remain, shifting from less playful to a more somber, mature vibe. The chalkiness from the bubblegum also remains.

  • em inglês

A South Dakotan megachurch in a bottle, non-denominational A Baptist church in Nebraska, boiled down, mistakenly forgotten. Just salt left in the pot. The colosseums of the Holocene, what they lack in devotion they make up for in theatrics. Plasma TV’s and stained glass simulacrum. Drywall hymns and prayers lacking teeth. Mimicking someone. Bourbon breath. Priests clothes with 3% rayon, a car you shouldn't be driving. Real wooden furniture. It’s waxy. The grocery store on valley drive, 4:30pm, late December, its very blue outside, just before you hit the highway. It all feels very thin.

  • em inglês

the booze is really strong on the spray, it's very hard to identify specific scents from this one, I do get plastic mixed in with booze and maybe some wood, it smells sweet, pretty fresh and almost fruity even though there are no fruit notes, but beyond that I really can't identify much. over time the sweetness starts to fade, leaving a pretty strong plastic smell and maybe even ink which I wasn't getting before. I still like it and it's very wearable vs other toskovat fragrances, some elements of this slightly reminds me of Fat Electrician by ELdO

  • em inglês

This may not be wearable for where I am in life now...but I am transported to the late 80s/early 90s. 2am, NYC, in between clubs, some things you've gotta buy cash, heavy on vibes and adrenaline. The money is prominent to me. Incense and wood are highlighted in the drydown. I would LOVE a little more booze, but that was likely the underlying thought during those original scent experiences. I trust the perfumer dialed in just the right amount. Wild nights. This is a brilliant composition, I really like it, shockingly addictive!

  • em inglês

Highly synthetic boozy opening, which then goes to a more plastic forward profile. The plastic note to me smells less like a plastic bag and more so reminds me of a freshly synthesized polymer. The dry down on my skin still maintains the plastic character strongly, but it also develops a scent the I can only describe as a memory of incense on someone's clothes after mass. I appreciate the pretentious artistry behind this fragrance, yet despite that I don't think I'll be wearing it nor buying a full bottle anytime soon.

  • em inglês

This fragrance opens up with a blast of plastic bag with some whisky hiding behind it. Over the course of time the fragrance will dry down to a much more pleasant aromatic scent which is hard to describe. This fragrance evokes the feeling of one being present in a corrupt church or a cult, where many financial transactions are taking place. A truly unique fragrance that has a story to tell with it. This fragrance can be pulled off, but I can only see a punk or heavy goth pulling this off.

  • em inglês

This was extremely suprising. I was expecting like credit card plastic and some funk but it genuinely to my nose smells exactly like how if Azad from Necalli and Born screaming had a baby. The plastic is extremely similar to that within Born screaming. I am able to get slight notes of money notes and maybe like an extremely light smell of an old car but i have to be pretty imaginative. No clue why but to me, dust, cherry and plastic very wearable very friendly and cool just unexpected

  • em inglês

Smoke, faint smell of gasoline, like a junky car driving away (black smoke and all). I feel something aquatic, which I guess is the holy water?? As well as woods and resins which is included in the notes. I guess I would say that the notes are pretty accurate although they still have a perfume-like quality about them. This scent is definitely wearable if you like “old church” kind of scents. Honestly to me it’s like a more masculine, heavy, woody version of Santal Royal by Guerlain.

  • em inglês

At first it's like smelling salts, it gives me an instant head rush, almost like an artificially induced headache but without the gnawing pain. Very chemical smell, reminiscent of poppers, once settled you get hints of something fresh, but like a hospital ward type of fresh, with a hint of fresh ketamine being produced in a sterile lab. It smells the way I would imagine an oncologist to smell like after a 12 hour shift. Not sure about its wearability, it's definitely a head turner.

  • em inglês

it's my first perfume from Toskovat and a great start. I thought the smell would be worse, but surprisingly enjoyed the combination of wax + $$$. the appeal to spray it on a day-to-day basis is alluring only because of the booze present in the notes. otherwise, it's an interesting experience that's slightly unworthy of such praise. I would recommend trying the sample if possible, looking at what memories it brings out in you, and only then deciding if you wanna go down this road.
