A pleasant surprise. Compared to a lot of Toskovat’, this is way more accessible and approachable for even mass audiences. It still has that slightly odd nostalgic complexity to it, but it’s not trying to punch you in the face with challenging notes. To me, it smells creamy, citrusy, airy, nutty, lightly sweet, and summery. I don’t know how to explain it perfectly, but it has this smooth, almost gourmand-leaning citrus thing going on. Not like a sharp lemon cleaner citrus, more like a soft creamy citrus dessert with something a little more complex underneath. Specific desserts that come to mind are crepes topped with whipped cream, ricotta cannolis, rum raisin + butter pecan ice cream, and lemon Italian ice. There is a floral supporting body behind it, though subtle, along with an unexpected subtle ozonic, almost calone-like quality. I’m guessing that comes from the prickly pear and/or verbena. Not full-on aquatic, but enough to give it a breezy, watery lift and keep the creamy citrus from feeling too heavy. It feels fresh and light compared to most of the other Toskovat’ fragrances I’ve tried. Definitely one of the easier ones to wear out. If someone who mostly wears mainstream scents wanted to try something from Toskovat’, I would probably point them toward this one.

I bought a sample of this because I've been itching to try the toskovat' line. I went into it expecting to appreciate it for its art, not only did it live up to the hype in that aspect, it was significantly more wearable than I expected. This scent in my opinion does exactly what it advertises, it perfectly conveys a childhood summer. The woody and faint citrus opening give off that vibe of waking up on a summer morning as a kid. And the sweet undertone makes everything seem much more positive, like the way you view life as a child. After a few hours, the wood and citrus fade and the sweet aspect becomes very prominent. The notes describe it as "pancake" and I think thats very accurate. This doesn't last quite as long as I'd like it to but this is more of a day fragrance for me it doesn't need to last forever. I absolute adore this and would love to pick up a bottle. Unfortunatly, 30mls are so exclusive I might have to settle for a decant which is fine I can get a decently sized one for $40 I'll likely buy one in the next week. I'm in love, 9.7/10

So unbelievably good. Haven't worn it enough to fully break apart what I'm smelling, but I absolutely love it. Easily my favorite from toskovat'. Creamy, herbally, and a little fruity. Projection seems good, at least an arms length away. My only disappointment is with how long it lasts. Maybe 3 hours max on clothes at max projection, and then it gets very close. I might get a whiff of it every once in a while up until about 5 hours in, and then I can only smell it when I have my nose right up against it. Still buying a bottle because of how good this smells, just wish it lasted longer.

Got this fragrance recently, nice citrus opening with a smooth creamy dry down. I like this fragrance, but some may see it as a “cheap” smelling fragrance. Which I disagree with but some people I know have said that. Longevity is actually good 10hrs on clothes, with decent projection for 3 hours. Great nice smelling fragrance! Also prickly pear note is very noticeable too Also performance is good, I genuinely do not understand why people say “performance is poor” because they do not know it enough.

I can't lie I find this absolutely BEAUTIFULLLL. It is delicately floral to me, with a gentle citrus tinge. I get the creaminess, and if you sniff really deeply something maple-like starts to come out, vaguely suggesting pancake. I was so curious about the raisin note but I'm not sure if I'm getting it or not. The citrus disappears pretty quickly and settles at a creamy soft floral.. thing. I can definitely see where folks are getting earl grey. Idk, it's just sososo good

This creation is damn gorgeous and can easily go either way without being too extreme for one or the other. This would be a good blind buy without disappointment and I will be buying this to keep into the permanent collection. It is that good. It definitely reminds me of another fragrance though, just can't put my finger on it. Season: Summer

I was BLOWN AWAY by this fragrance. It is absolutely beautiful! Super fruity, creamy and sweet! Gave me a nostalgic feeling of summertime and waking up to a big breakfast- assorted fruits, pancakes with whipped cream, Froot Loops and milk while the sun shown through the windows, warming the entire kitchen.

i really like the concept of a fragrance that captures the feeling of reminiscing for the past and i certainly believe toskovat has accomplished that here. what a beautiful and unique blend of notes. this smells like visiting an art museum as a kid and i am very charmed by it

Amazing scent it reminds me a little bit of Midori melon liquer but way more complex. I would say this can be a signature scent.

I love it, but it just doesn't last or project. Fruity, creamy, sweet and fresh, done just right.

my favorite one ... freeze the best sicilian aromas in one spray .... love it !

White citrus & nostalgic Top 3 Toskovat

I love good storytelling in perfumes, and that’s something I really appreciate with Toskovat’. That being said, this is one of the cuter stories about melancholy and travels, and this perfume really captivates the story in a great way. A reviewer below me describes this as «a fresh and fleeting gourmand» and that is exactly it. Slightly masculine due to the green citrusy and woody opening, but generally a quite good and kind of unique fragrance. It opens slightly masculine, almost like a fougere with a detectable verbena and a smooth woody base. Cypress is one of those notes that I can smell almost anywhere, and this is no exception. Though, the cypress really fits in together with the sweet citrus and the even sweeter middle notes. Pancakes, cream and frangipani make up a weird combination of sweetness that just works? It works in that weird way that makes me just smell and smell and smell and smell. It is good, and I really like it in its own weird sweet «fresh and fleeting gourmand» way. When it has dried down on my skin and I am around four hours into my wear, a lot of the intriguing notes have disappeared quietly into the skin. The cypress is gone, but the cedar along with some sweet rum and cream are left behind. It is still sort of a unique gourmand, but not the same as it was. The scent is still powering on when I hit the 8-hour mark, but I do not think it will last that much longer. Nevertheless, it is one of Toskovat’s more wearable perfumes and a nice one to try out if you want something sweet and innocent by a brand known for its innovative scents.

Testing blind this opened up with a bright bitter and green floral. Gets a bit warm and sweet as it dries down. There's a very familiar something in here, and last time I thought similarly it was absinthe, which goes along with some of the notes (but I'm clearly wrong). Throughout most of the day I get something between a spring green bitter citrus and a floral forest with a dose of what comes across as amber sweetness. In other words, fluffy? Yeah, it kind of smells like a warm bitter citrus fluff. Definitely having a hard time trying to describe this fragrance blind. So, looking at the notes, I'm not so sure about pancakes and whipped cream, except accounting for the sweetness and a bit of a bread middle body. It is nicely layered, citrus first (blood orange), followed by bitter, sweet, warm, wood, floral. Not sure you can pull out the variety of all the notes, and some like rum or grape don't even feel influential. The projection and longevity were both good, making itself known throughout the day without withering. Overall, it might be a bit sweet for some but the bright citrus, bitter, and warm notes offset this and provide an interesting mix that I find appealing and frankly different enough to consider, but breakfast it is not.

the curious part is that the scent “changes gender” in its development. for me it starts with some masculine aquatic vibe, calvin klein 00’s era, nice hint on a cucumber 🥒 and then, within minutes, (depending on the quantity applied) it becomes sweet, feminine, nostalgic. and it’s always a surprise, which presence will i feel when i lean in to taste this rainbow, 🌈 cuz it’s genderfluid af. i recommend it to sensitive people who like to play with the concept of sexuality, yall folks gonna like. it’s non-offensive, but i doubt that you’ll get the listed perfums notes in your nose, or at least if any of us, simple perfumery enjoyers, knows the scent of prickly foking pear. but we can imagine 🙏🏻 can’t rate it out of 10 anymore, david’s art is on a top tier level as a rule, and even if it’s not the perfume i want to have a full sized bottle of, it’s still made of sum top notch components and thy art leaves me in awe. David, if you read this, thank you for doing you <3

Smells like really sweet lipstick, I don’t know, it’s so lipsticky and sweet that I’m almost getting a headache, I’m still not getting any pancakes, the first time I tried this it just smelled like limey piney alcohol. For me it’s just really sweet fruity lipstick, interesting, I don’t know if this is better than the first time I tried this, still getting some cypress and lime, gonna try for a third time later, really fun. Doesn’t smell like lipstick this much now, more like lip balm, can’t stop smelling, wonderful, the pancakes there if you just keep telling yourself it is, Scent makes me feel happy, but smells too much like a women’s perfume, Not saying I wouldn’t wear it but I don’t know if I wanna smell like makeup 8.6/10 Just realized I’ve been saying this smells like lipstick, or makeup, Smells of lipstick, and makeup.

Got a sample and sprayed on both my wrists. It led with a strong verbena opening, dust or wet cement and citrus. It settled quickly on my skin into a rum raisin ice cream scent. Projection and longevity leave much to be desired. Someone else mentioned it smelling like makeup or lipstick and I totally understand, it's powdery. Warm, sweet and creamy without it being cloying. A fresh and fleeting gourmand offering from Toskovat.

Is my nose messed up?!? I smell a very bitter citrus with a very aromatic cypress and a sort of balsamic undertone. I smell ZERO sweetness and creaminess to it and it’s not at all what I expected. I bought a full bottle mind you so there’s no decant error to it. Any answers are appreciated!!!

It's very light, I can only smell light citruses with a slight fruity and sweet hint. The longevity and projection are terrible and that is the reason i wouldn't recommend it especially for this price tag. Otherwise it's very wearable and the smell is pleasing. Disapointed. 5.5/10

Candied pecans crushed onto vanilla ice cream. Some blue aquatic notes are underneath this, but it's so subtle after the first hour that it would be hard for anyone other than yourself to tell. A very accessable fragrance from Toskovat, albeit one of his weakest performers.

First 5 minutes smell kinda cheap and a tiny bit off putting with the pear coming through alot. But after it quickly developes into this sweet fresh creamy smell that is very very nice.The performance is a bit below average but apart from that 7/10.

It’s a really beautiful experience and has a similar coldness feel as zoologist penguin. it’s definitely one of the more wearable toskovat fragrances i’ve smelled.

Fluffy, fruity-pebble pancakes drizzled with rum at your friends beach house. Tame, but still different enough to keep teasing you back for more sniffs.

To start I spilled this shit all over myself when I was opening it. She’s strong and synthetic but close to the skin so it’s not assaulting. The sweetness is definitely a little nauseating though. Based on the pancake and whipped cream notes, I expected it to be light and airy and was rather disappointed when it smelled heavy. Not heavy like alcohol but heavy like food that sits in your stomach wrong. It would work beautifully with Sex And The Sea Neroli though. If you like gourmands, this may excite you. If you don’t, don’t bother. It smells exactly like those terrible rainbow cake bites they sell at Stop&Shop

Got this blind-buy from the recent drop. First blast was citrus but lactonic citrus, then changed into slightly gourmand maybe from whipped cream and the base note barely smell anything, skin scent-y kinda fragrance. it's pretty much linear once it hits the base. It is very wearable but not something unique from the ultra niche brand as I expected. If you wanted to buy mine 60ml, I sprayed max 2 times for tester, and live in Germany or EU. hit me up on private messages

A little too cloying for my taste unfortunately but it's not terrible. Maybe it doesn't fit my skin chemistry as it entirely skipped the top notes on me and went straight to the rum, pancakey, sweet scent. On my sister and dad, they were greeted with the blood orange and citrusy notes and has even properly dried down to this slightly woody scent. idk...maybe I was expecting a little more considering what Toskovat' is known for

Candied citruses with calone. On paper this was pretty gourmand, like a lemon cake but not quite as photorealistic as Lira, for example. On skin the cakey smell isn't there, just the citruses and calone. Not that strong, this is getting overpowered extremely easily by the other Toskovats I'm skin testing right now. Now that it's been drying for some time it honestly smells like my mom's Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid's dry down

It is very loud and odd, distinctly chemical. There’s so much going on that like with My Past Self Flowers and Я, you wouldn’t be really able to distinct notes from one another. It’s vaguely tropical and pungent, lightly powdery, sweet, not too woodsy. Do not get tricked into buying by seeing the notes, because you won’t find them in the end product. Another meh from Toskovat’.

I received a sample from a friend. Out of the little bottle I enjoyed it and it intrigued me, but on the skin it didn't impress me - it was fine, but given the crazy reviews I have read about Toskovat, I expected to be more baffled or excited about it.

eh. it's nice, dried fruit, bright-sweet, but i don't know where i would wear it and not be concerned that it smells overly cloying. a very "closed" scent. did not live up to the conceptual description. not for me.

No pancakes or sweetness to my nose at first. Dry rum in plastic container. Stale cologne. Sweetness comes in dry down. Along with headache and gratitude for the soap I’ll be using to remove the sample from my skin.

Annacemento is a fragrance that I have a difficult time picking the notes apart, but the overall creation is one that resonates with every fiber of my being. How could it not, with the melancholic poetry of its description referencing a kid seeing the sea for the first time...or maybe an adult seeing it for the last, and the observation that “If you look back at that beauty, you’ve most likely already lost it.” This sentiment reminds me of another similar one that I loved, evoking the fleeting purity of a moment, wherein Muriel Barbery’s The Elegance of the Hedgehog, the narrator opines, “Beauty consists of its own passing, just as we reach for it.” The ingredients list citrusy elements in the form of fruits and herbs and a handful of bakery case items, alongside various woods and marine botanicals- and its overall impression is of a faint, sad sweetness that’s also somehow... not exactly fresh and not quite clean but some secret third thing that’s somehow adjacent. It’s a bittersweet dream you once had of sitting by the ocean and eating a small, cold dish of ice cream as the skies darkened to grey with the promise of rain on the horizon. As the tide rolls in, you realize that the dampness on your cheeks is not the brine of salty seaspray but streaks of drying tears, though you had no idea you were weeping or why that might have been.

Soapy fresh opening that transitions into a candied and creamy sweet citrus rather than a bitter one, with lovely subtle bread-like yeasty facets and later on a harsher sourness from the cream/cheese. Took me a while to like this one, initially I was put off by the synthetic and cheap smelling nature of it, but it really does have lovely subtle details, even if it's not as in your face as some of the other fragrances by the brand. This one’s a bit of a head-scratcher for me. This starts out a little green on my skin, I smell prickly pear more than anything else. It’s quite nice actually. I don’t know if I like how Annacamento develops if I’m being honest. It turns very sweet and floral which I’m not the most fond of, I get a hint of frangipanis that reminds me of my bisnonna’s tree as a child. I’m not getting much raisin or rum. However the dry down is nice, it’s a safe scent from Toskovat’ and it’s enjoyable. There’s just nothing to really write home about.

I love the comm...However, they make sense. 🫩 The guy behind the brand has no perfumery education whatsoever, but he knows marketing. The usual bullshitE we kinda all got bored of it. Or at least I did... Ultra-niche my arse... Smelling like a wet flower pot doesn't make u special. Makes you a special and useful idiot for current era. These brands are exactly, but EXACTLY The Emperor's new clothes.

To me, it's isn't cloying at all. It's fruity, but not cheaply fruity - I think it's still very tasteful. Spraying this indeed feels like spraying some idyllic memories on myself. It's very beautiful and super easy to wear, not migraine inducing to any extent in my personal opinion. It could have better parameters, however, but that's not that much of a problem to me anyway.

There are many notes listed but this one is actually a very gourmand type of fragrance. What I pick from this is a creamy, sweet, and delicious dessert. I am not a fan of this one although I should say that the perfumer probably spent quite some time and effort to create those new accords. 6.5/10

smells very interesting. has a bitter freshness in the opening, almost slightly like Chanel Allure Homme sport. dries down to a smooth unique rum and pancakey smell but still maintains its freshness. however longevity and sillage is disappointing. still very nice though.

This citrusy, creamy powdery fragrance that I've never smelt before. Again the blending of these notes are just awesome. This doesn't surprise me as much as the others but definitely not bad. 7/10

It's very pretty and not offensive. The whipped cream and pancake isn't overwhelming, this hits more floral for me. I get the green of the prickly pear. Enjoyable and cozy.
