Silent at The Theme Park

FINALLY, something with labdanum in it that doesn't smell spitty. This is a very interesting scent, it really does smell like hugging your mom while she's wearing a thick cashmere sweater. It has this nostalgic, distant-memory feeling to it, in the sense that the scent itself is very muted. This is not a bad thing though, it still projects decently well. I mean there is just something very soft and hazy to this that is very cool, I can absolutely see the image this perfume is trying to convey. As for the most prominent notes I'm getting: it's not a sharp tart juicy lemon, but rather the memory of a glass of lemonade in the spring, or maybe enjoying a lemon cookie in a garden, and the florals, ylang-ylang, and linen are amazing complements. I don't really detect any of the base notes individually (nor do I need to), but I'm thinking those could possibly be what's creating that dreamlike quality. The scent gets woodier and the mental image gets softer and hazier as you sit with it. GORGEOUS. 9.5/10 (0.5 automatically deducted for labdanum :p ).

what i loved about it the most, is the incense opening. then a bit of cashmere, laundry detergent (which is fine) and finally a bunch of yellow/white flower trees which i dislike. this one made me toskovat’ by evoking a memory of a mother i never had, the one that visits church every sunday, spends a lot of time with me, cuddles me in her soft sweater. it’s not the mother i knew, mine one is more of a P*rnstar (Noyau Doux) kind of vibe. and there also was this linden tree opposite our window... pretty disturbing for those with mommy issues. and there is also that weird note that derives from the flowers, it reminds my nose of a buckwheat, i find it also in Mon Guerlain. 6,5/10, good job David, you hit my childhood trauma, may thy heart be ever at ease. upd: smelled this on my twin. damn beautiful. love it. may buy a bottle

The balance in this one is absolutely stunning. I love how the scent of clean linens and cashmere sweater play off the lemon. The conifer notes really embrace the sweeter and cleaner notes. This fragrance is so beautiful and tender. I'm loving the journey of getting into Toskovat as the stories I get to experience are always exciting or thought provoking. Edit: This scent memory kept nagging me and I finally figured out what this smells like to me! Those chocolate cake shots that are vodka, Frangelico, and a sugared lemon chaser. This smells like that tastes. Edit: This has become one of my favorite fragrances.

Didnt trigger any scene, memory, or anything at all for me. But a decent fragrance nontheless. On second opinion, this is a very very nice fragrance. Now, after multiple wears, I must say that this is one of the coziest fragranecs i own. Its soft, and cozy and calming. Its not very gourmandy, which is nice, but you can definitely still smell something remniniscant of gourmandy, but i would never smell this and go "oh, lemon tart" at all. Overall, since its a pretty soft and just overall cozy fragrance, i'd say its very very versatile for all seasons in my opinion. Love-

Simple but so complex and unforgettable. Silent at the theme park reminds me of when i was younger and my mom would make lemon muffins for me and my sister, the opening is completely different i get some chocolate with greens then it completely dissolves into this yellow floral scent thats to die for. The lemon and greens work together so well. I also get the linen which adds to the complexity. overall, this is truly a peice of art that i will definitely be abusing this spring. 9.6/10

It's absolutely beautiful, reminds me of my aunt's soviet era swamp green tiled bathroom and the liley of the valley air frreshener she always had, that small stick on one that you pressed, they had em on tv ads, mixed in with my uncle's strong oceanic after shave that didn't really suit him but he used them anyway becaue they didn't care, very masculine undertones in this one. I could see a secondary school English teacher wear who was a progressive liberal-millenial.

This is a great perfume, it reminds me of a sunny careless spring day when you were a child it's so calm but yet complex. It also reminds me of fresh greenery and the flowers, the trees, the grass and the lemonade that you're sipping on. It's very clean as well and sweet, smells like a clean sheets in a way it. Makes you feel relaxed and calm I recommended to you that you try it definitely.

Notes on Toskovat's website: Lily of the Valley, Cacao, Ylang Ylang, Clean Linens, Mother's Sweater Olibanum, Fir Balsam, Labdanum, Patchouli, Cedarwood, Oakmoss, Vanilla This smells of honey-like florals I think due to the flowers in here which compliment eachother perfectly! It's mumsy, but it smells nice so I might challenge the norm and wear this! 🤣

Very nostalgic. Before I smelled this i didn’t really belive colognes could smell “nostolgic” that was before i smelled this. It smells like a moment instead of a smell. I want this fragrance so bad because all I think about is my experience at a theme park as a good. When I was young. When I was someone who was innocent and full of joy and life.

If only the longevity was better this would be 10/10 fragrance. Still letting it macerate so i will be updating this review. Cozy sweater like vibes with flowers and citrus. Walk in the park during spring-summer type of date scent. I get this cozy clean grandmas house in a really good way vibe. Will probably buy again.

For any of my fellow Silent Hill fans, this perfume smells like the Lakeview Hotel in SH2. It feels old and a bit lived in, with a vintage air of sweetness. The furniture feels dated, and a thick fog permeates the exterior surroundings. It is peaceful, in a slightly off putting way.

I don't know why most people associate this scent with mom's sweater or grandma's house, it's probably autosuggestion reading the description on Toskovat's website. For me it's the scent of a young, dreamy and hot woman just before... Sensual, sexy, un-beerable. 10/10

Eden for the modern times! Vibrant sharp powder clashed with delicate and realistic slightly honeyed linden blossom with a side of transparent lilacs. It does have a mohair quality to it, although it is definitely in the back, the main focus are the flowers.

Price be damned, favorite scent hands down. Lemon bar, florals, European chic, fresh clean bedding, sweet, sappy, woody, a well done background green element that I actually like and more flowers. Spring in a bottle. The smell of happiness.

The opening to me is pretty disgusting, but it quickly becomes an extremely nice and EXTREMELY nostalgic smelling fragrance, I think this would be best for Spring but could also be worn in summer! Love it, need to get a bottle tbh

Opens up a linden blossom and quiets down into ylang, labdanum on a bed of woods notes. Really interesting combination that makes this a very beautiful perfume. I'm happy I have a sample of this, I'm looking to buy the bottle

It’s a wonderful scent, but am I the only one who thinks the listed accords are misleading? You’re unlikely to get a strong woody impression; overall, it’s floral. I can pick up on the linen notes, too.

Smelling this for the first time made me cry. For real. Incredibly beautiful.

Out of all the Toskovat samples I own this one is the most beautiful for me. The impression is magnified having tried it right after Inexcusable Evil -but that's another story. I would even go as far as to say that this one might be full bottle worthy, although way overpriced. To my skin and my nose this is sweet, very sweet, but also perfectly unisex. I actually think that this would work like magic on a very masculine man. I get a blast of flowers in the opening, heavy kinda overstimulating but comforting at the same time. Ylang ylang and something else. Maybe the lilac and the musk? it's pretty intense and loud just like the other Toskovats I have. On the dry down the base notes start to shine through and it becomes warmer and softer, although still very floral. I can see the storyline in this. It's vintage with a modern twist, mature but also playful. It can become headache inducing almost medicinal if over sprayed.

Take your time with this fragrance. I am someone who is a victim of having a prejudice, but I’m glad I was wrong. The opening may seem harsh or bold, the notes may look like it is not for you, but after it dries down on your skin it is a beautiful soft fragrance. It smells well blended. It is something that you keep sniffing on your wrist. I have tested this on a blotter and on skin and ofcourse skin is always better. The zesty opening with the sweet soft florals when it dries down, it is something you need to try. Toskovat can be misunderstood, it is not just the tiktok edits of craziness and that every fragrance is basically the wildest ever. He makes stories, art, something that he expresses his thoughts in and this fragrance does it well.

This one is really interesting. I really enjoy the mix of floral, sweet, and this woody undercurrent of something a little liminal, almost antique store smell. This contains so many notes I love, but orange blossom (which is generally one of my favorite notes) overpowers everything else, and it feels a little less special because I just feel like I'm only really left smelling like orange blossom. I was bummed that I don't really sense any linen note, might be too subtle for me to detect. Ultimately this is probably not one I'd buy a larger decant or FB of, especially at its price point, but glad I tried it.

Mostly this scent is about flowers and lightness. In the opening, it smells like a group of white flowers and ylang-ylang. I don't feel any labdanum or cedar. Some people may think that this scent smells like a floral-scented toilet freshener, but the flowers here are not synthetic, although they don't feel completely natural either. Also, somehow I don't see this scent in winter. I think this scent is perfect for easy, relaxing days. Overall, I think this scent is more feminine. but I don't think this scent is something unique

let me paint a picture for you. it's like a vintage shop next to a park that's filled with dandelions, it's bright and sunny, you hear birds chirping in the distance. your nostrils fill a with a lemony, floral, soft auroma as the warm sun hits your skin and you feel a warm embrace of nature. it's nice, it's super pleasant, really nice on skin, you could wear it to a picnic date.

this perfume brought on a very specific memory of a condo I stayed at as a child on a family vacation in Orlando while visiting disney world. Super clean smelling from the lemon and linen, like a clean hotel room, but then there are these bright flowers coming through that made the fragrance very beautiful and warm. It smelled very nostalgic and like a bright summer day

White and yellow florals (orange blossom predominantly) with a touch of cacao and a citrusy zing during the opening minutes. Very nice and likeable but not sure if I'd wear this, I bet it would come off feminine to some people. It does smell kind of nostalgic though.

Quite pleasant, this fragrance doesn’t come across as dark as it is being labelled to me however this is still amazing. Reminds me of opus 1144 in a sense however is less gourmand. Nice but wouldn’t buy

a very lemony opening. the scent itself is somewhat powdery to me but still very enjoyable. could possibly be a nice spring fragrance

I really get the olibanum quite a bit on the front end, along with a touch of zingy lemon. Interesting opening, but it gives way to a nondescript yellow floral that doesn't do much for me. It's nice, dont get me wrong, but when you wax this poetic about a fragrance, it's hard not to write a check that the scent itself can't cash. And that's kinda the case for me here. Not really getting fireworks. But I tried this one first for a reason, though, since from the notes list I figured it would be a user-friendly intro to the brand. For me it's just a little too safe for a brand that projects such an edgelord vibe. Looking forward to trying their more adventurous offerings. 5/10

it is a really good perfume. however, after wearing it, I realize that it is very difficult to find the right moment to wear it, not to mention wearing it every day. this is a perfume for the sake of art and encapsulating the moment. the story that the author tells on the official website is very close to me, so the perfume is really nostalgic. it is the moment when you just feel good to smell the perfume bottle, rather than wear it. as for the scent, it opens with frankincense (in a strong concentration), ylang-ylang, and lemon. It opens intrusively, but after 4-5 hours, a pleasant nostalgic smell remains.

Pretty accurate profile, up to the ylang-ylang note. Patchouli in the undertone for sure. Cacao is a major player in the overtone. Nicely blended. Wearable, which is a nice change of pace for this house. Ultimately, more meh from Toskovat’s meh cannon.

This ended up being another letdown. What’s really disappointing is that, based on the name, I was expecting something Silent Hill 1 or 3 inspired. To be blunt, it feels more suited to a little girl than an adult. Has a youthful, girly quality to it. Think vanilla, flowers, a floral gourmand blend. It reminds me of those candy-like, lollipop scents that many young girl perfumes go for. Almost smells like cotton candy but not quite. There’s just this overall vibe that screams cheap perfume, like something you might find at stores like Burlington or Ross for around $15. At worst, it smells like kids' shampoo/soap packaged in plastic bottles shaped like Disney princesses. I think this fragrance is more about the brand name and novelty than the actual scent. I’ll still try more from Toskovat’ though, just for the novelty.

I had a sample of this fragrance and I’m already hesitant about it. It could have been because of worn out bottle, I don’t know... To me, I could get the sweet notes from the bottle but on my skin, it got synthetic glue smell. Not in a weird way, but - the scent was there with something just really woody. I was also unimpressed with longevity. Won’t be purchasing a whole bottle, but it’s still an experience.

Opens with a nice super natural, armoatic woody fir, swiftly interupted with a bold, synthedic almost medicinal smell from the ylangylang, more yellow florals come out and it dries down very airy and smooth ylang ylang heavy. Great performance to be honest, and a very interesting and thought provoking scent. Kind of reminds me of a very rich mothers room with the window open in the countryside.

To me, the opening is synthetic and weird. Reminiscent of a plastic tarp or tent that’s been sitting in the sun. Or a waiting room. Musty carpet overlaid with the scent of fluoride. The dry down is a lot nicer. It becomes more of a warm or woody scent with just a hint of sweetness and citrus. Roommate comments: smells like carpet shampoo or a doctor’s office after the carpets have been cleaned

Really captures the scent of my moms clean closet in midday in summer, with the open window and forests and fields outside. I don't get any lemon at all strangely, but its a very comforting scent

Pretty nice. At first looking at the notes I thought this was gonna be wild but its really not. On my skin i just get the cacao, other people said it smelt like lemon drops.

Smells reminiscent of LDBS. Little more floral little less sweet. Doesn't last very long couple of hours. I do like it tho. 7/10
