LoveMe The Emerald Elixir

I’m surprised how no one know about this perfume. For me it’s absolutely amazing. I was on the vacation, when I first smell it, and I didn’t really liked them, but then when I left the store with sample I fell in love and had to come back for full size bottle, so I just had to gave them few minutes. This perfume are sweet, sexy, warm and intriguing. They are my boyfriend’s favorite in my collection. I heard people saying these are for winter/autumn, but I didn’t know that wearing them on Tenerife for 2 weeks straight, and worked well for me. 100% recommend.

I found this perfume on a trip to Spain. I am veeery picky with perfumes. I don't like very bright floral perfumes, and this one is quite balanced with the sweetness and woodiness. This is a very easy pick for me if I'm going out during the day, for work, lunch with friends or a daytime date. I feel confident and put together.

A beautiful fragrance that opens with pleasant, soft citrus notes, settling into a sweet fruity-floral base. The composition is well blended, smooth, enchanting, and mood-lifting. A gorgeous, feminine, joyful scent. Together with its charming bottle, it makes a delightful gift.

Great scent, fresh, modern and it will be an huge success 👍

Test drove this at the mall today- here are my initial thoughts: First of all- No picture is gonna do the bottle justice. It is so pretty. At first spray this kinda reminds me of sweet tarts with added sweet vanilla and patchouli. Really sweet and strong The middle notes blend beautifully with the base. Its warm and subtly toasted sweet vanilla kept gently cool by the musk, jasmine & honeysuckle. The patchouli here is a whisper of spice and the violet soothes it all in a blanket of sweet powder. The dry down is a lullaby In all this one reminds me of being the mom of a toddler. She’s candy sweet and boisterous at playtime, and then it’s time to rest; laying her sweet little wild thing to sleep in gentle cuddles and candy dreams. It’s sweet~*

I feel a marzipan note in the opening with my nose close to my wrist, that changes into fresh bread aroma. I do not feel any of the notes listed separately, just a general impression. After the initial 15 minutes it feels orangey, musky, vanilla with clean patchouli. As such it reminds me a tiny bit of Coco Mademoiselle but lighter. I also feel honeysuckle and pear - they are making it airier. It is a medium performer that feels universal with regards to weather. I like it, it's beautiful. It also reminds me of Elie Saab Elixir in character. The dry-down is even better than the start and heart. Fruity, seductive and sweet and warm like a scarf. A day has passed but I still feel this fruity floral off my wrist.

I collect miniature bottles and got the other three LoveMe collection. I wouldn't normally go for patchouli but the bottle was so nice. Thought this was going to smell mainly of patchouli. Boy was I wrong. Loved this. Sweet and still fresh in a way. Patchouli wasn't so prominent in my opinion. I noticed a slight woodiness but not so much. Overall very nice.

I've had this sample for a while and it never came too much in to my attention. I was definitely wrong. It's my cup of tea, jasmine, peach, is sweet but fresh with a touch of density from the musk/incense that reminded me of my departed Lataffa Opulent Red, but it doesn't bother me as much as it did on OR, is more soft.

To me this is very rich and sweet but not cloying like Love Me Onyx. I detect the honeysuckle and vanilla a lot. Definitely a winter fragrance. It has similar vein to JPG la belle the way it is combining fresh with warm. It can smell absolutely amazing in cold weather. I think it will be too much for hot weather.

It reminds me a bit of Mugler Aura (I have and love the fragrance) but this one is sweeter, too sweet for me. The scent is not bad, but I prefer to spend my money on other fragrances. The packaging is beautiful, I'll only keep it because of that. I don't recommend buying it blindly.

Smelled this on a paper in a store today. Can't say how it develops on skin but my impression was: cheap and cheerful, kinda pleasant but not very interesting. Fresh and slightly sweet, but also kinda bland. But again very cheap so I suppose good value for money.

Very patchouli with a touch of citrus and some warm vanilla floral. If you like patchouli you might enjoy this.

Amberwood alert! Yikes, this got undeclared whatever they put in nowadays that gives off that intolerable acrid tinge that you can smell passing by young people in public. They just poison perfumes with it. Fragrantica author Edie Smith mentioned in her article that LoveMe is ‘amberwoody’, but I only read the article after the order had been placed. Another reviewer describes this as ‘a touch of density from the musk/incense’ that bothered her in Lattafa Opulent Red. That one has oud. Yet another reviewer mentioned Elie Saab Elixir for comparison, and indeed that one also has something lurking in it to my nose. Why, Elixir has amberwood listed! I’ve smelt the same in Alibi Eau So Chic and Kenzo World Power, just to mention a couple of others with it hidden. It should be mandated that this crap be declared so that it could be avoided. I love patchouli, but unfortunately patchouli is not what defines LoveMe, at least not to my nose. Whatever notes there may be, they seem to be overpowered by something like a stale oiliness. Can my bottle be off? I have no way of knowing.

I blind bought this based on the bottle and reviews, and I’m not disappointed. The initial blast is strong and sharp and I thought I had made a mistake, but within minutes it becomes a soft powdery, slightly woody jasmine. It’s nice. It does kind of remind me of Aura. They don’t smell exactly alike but they give the same vibe, though this is much easier to wear than Aura. This fits well with the weather today, cold but sunny.

It is beautiful! it was a love at first sniff. Someone mentioned it reminded them of Aura Mugler, I agree, but this one is a bit sweeter, with patchouli, woodiness and sweetness. It reminds of how an emerald would smell hahaha so true!

I can see the comparison to Erba Pura, but this is way more friendly. I actually like this very much, whereas Erba Pura I'd happily fire into the sun.
