LoveMe The Onyx Parfum

This fragrance has been on my wishlist for about a year. I expected more. It is a lovely scent. I get the woodsy note in the opening then it sweetens up as it dries down, but I have to bring my arm close to my nose to smell it. I find it to settle very light and sits close to the skin after only a very short while. I'll have to wear it out and pay attention to any reaction, or lack thereof, I get from others. Edit 5/22/2025: I would've regretted giving this fragrance away had I acted impulsively a few months ago. I have been wearing this fragrance the past month or so and have fallen in love. I'm not sure what changed in 5 months besides the winter weather finally fading, but it's projection, longevity, and sillage are considerably noticeable to myself and others now. A guy friend of mine asked me what I was wearing because it was intoxicating.

This is such a sexy fall winter fragrance! I happen to love scents like this that are warm and a bit mysterious. It’s an interesting blend with a bit of a sharper citrus in the top, grabbing your attention, but quickly warms up to a sweet vanilla nutty scent, and then gets even more cozy with a woody base. You can detect the slightest floral in there but it’s not the star of this show. This is really good and would be an autumn staple for me. I personally don’t think it’s a special occasion or date night scent. It’s more of a casual cozy cool weather fragrance for me, which is actually how I spend most of my days so it’s a perfect scent for daytime for me. I think as it ages, it will get even warmer!

So yummy and cozy. Smells like a dessert without being too sickly, I could see it becoming my signature scent which is strange as I tend to not really seek vanilla perfumes. Somehow it reminds me of Girl of Now despite the different notes. It just radiates so nicely off the skin and even though it’s nothing fancy, it just puts a smile on my face every time I wear it. Also, it lasts forever on clothes! I don’t think it’s for everyone, it might be too sweet but I think everyone should at least sample it.

honestly, I loved this scent. I'm afraid it would be too intense for an everyday perfume. Onyx smells delicious in a way an original lip gloss would... I think this is the best way to explain it. I would say they did a pretty good job, it's a unique scent.

It is a sweet, powdery fragrance that doesn't lack personality, not overwhelming. I absolutely adore this because it is an intoxicating freshly sweet scent. The sillage and longevity are pretty good. This would make a great signature perfume.
