LoveMe The Onyx Parfum

This fragrance has been on my wishlist for about a year. I expected more. It is a lovely scent. I get the woodsy note in the opening then it sweetens up as it dries down, but I have to bring my arm close to my nose to smell it. I find it to settle very light and sits close to the skin after only a very short while. I'll have to wear it out and pay attention to any reaction, or lack thereof, I get from others. Edit 5/22/2025: I would've regretted giving this fragrance away had I acted impulsively a few months ago. I have been wearing this fragrance the past month or so and have fallen in love. I'm not sure what changed in 5 months besides the winter weather finally fading, but it's projection, longevity, and sillage are considerably noticeable to myself and others now. A guy friend of mine asked me what I was wearing because it was intoxicating.

This is such a sexy fall winter fragrance! I happen to love scents like this that are warm and a bit mysterious. It’s an interesting blend with a bit of a sharper citrus in the top, grabbing your attention, but quickly warms up to a sweet vanilla nutty scent, and then gets even more cozy with a woody base. You can detect the slightest floral in there but it’s not the star of this show. This is really good and would be an autumn staple for me. I personally don’t think it’s a special occasion or date night scent. It’s more of a casual cozy cool weather fragrance for me, which is actually how I spend most of my days so it’s a perfect scent for daytime for me. I think as it ages, it will get even warmer!

So yummy and cozy. Smells like a dessert without being too sickly, I could see it becoming my signature scent which is strange as I tend to not really seek vanilla perfumes. Somehow it reminds me of Girl of Now despite the different notes. It just radiates so nicely off the skin and even though it’s nothing fancy, it just puts a smile on my face every time I wear it. Also, it lasts forever on clothes! I don’t think it’s for everyone, it might be too sweet but I think everyone should at least sample it.

honestly, I loved this scent. I'm afraid it would be too intense for an everyday perfume. Onyx smells delicious in a way an original lip gloss would... I think this is the best way to explain it. I would say they did a pretty good job, it's a unique scent.

It is a sweet, powdery fragrance that doesn't lack personality, not overwhelming. I absolutely adore this because it is an intoxicating freshly sweet scent. The sillage and longevity are pretty good. This would make a great signature perfume.

I buy it just because of the top notes..lovely feminime and so vanilla a little bit soapy.. then for awhile maybe 1 hr.. it gives me memory while I used black opium floral.. but i do not regret it.. i think it's ok for daily use

I have a mini splash of this so I can use just a tiny amount which is all you need. This fragrance is rich and dries to a nice soft vanilla, sweet but sophisticated. I really enjoy it a lot.

An unapologetically sweet, gourmand-leaning fragrance that knows how to tease. From the first spritz, it opens with a bright citrusy note that feels smooth and creamy rather than sharp—like someone swirled fresh lemon syrup into a tasty almond custard. This super buttery, velvety smoothness enveloped the vanilla-orchid, blending its sweetness into the light floral touch. There’s an unmistakable powdery, almost lactonic quality that gives the scent a comforting, milky vibe. It’s soft and cozy, like vanilla-infused warm milk with just a hint of floral sophistication. Unfortunately for those looking for a nutty note to ground the fragrance, the hazelnut and woods claimed to be offered are absent—no earthy base nor rich praline accords, and a little linear. If you’re looking for a more deep twist here, you might be left sniffing in vain. Still, for those who enjoy a very sweet, creamy gourmand, Loveme Onyx is really quite a treat. Don't get your hopes up for complexity or balance though as it might end up feeling like you’ve been served dessert in stead of your former dinner request.

Been wearing this for about a month now. Absolutely loved it from the first time I smelled it. I was testing out different perfumes and had the testers sit at home for about a week. This was the only one I could still smell throughout and it was honestly haunting because I wasn't even sure which perfume it was but it was sooo good. I guessed it was this one but was only sure when I smelled it again in the store. And I was sold. Now, I've never really been a vanilla girl but rather avoided these scents because vanilla for me was always suffocating and sweet. Or so I thought...but apparently I hadn't tried woody vanilla and now I am kind of obsessed. Maybe it's the fall and winter...Anyways, I LOVE the scent but coming off of Chloe's Nomade that has been my signature scent for a couple of years now the lasting power of Tous' LoveMe does not compare AT ALL. Such a pity...Still def my favourite one from the LoveMes.

Another likeable composition by Tous and in an irresistible bottle too. Looking just like your favourite bear pendant in faceted onyx. This version is dark indeed - juicy, flowery, slightly gourmand. Performs well, does not lack development in heart notes - all stages of the scent have quality. It's a dark juice with edible vanilla pod. Its facets consist of hazelnut, grapefruit, magnolia, orchid and vetiver. Vanilla has heliotrope to support it. Sprayed on clothes lasts two days- mainly yummy, edible vanilla + heliotrope and the juice is just drying off together with its grapefruit-magnolia-hazelnut coctail leaving only a memory of them. Sensual - evening and romantic outings appropriate.

I got this as a tester. When you think of "Onyx" - you would assume dark, spicy, woody or musky....maybe a unisex scent? However this is the complete opposite. Its sweet: vanilla, nutty and fresh. I would call it a smoked or spicy marshmellow. Definitely feminine and way more sweet than I was thinking! A wonderful surprise. It works really well with my body chemistry. I really enjoy it and have used up the tester and plan to buy a bottle. This scent is not for folks who dislike gourmand & sweet fragrances. Downside for me: no sillage and very poor wear time. Within 3 hrs it's gone. Im going to try layering it to get more longevity out of it.

I really like it it's a modern floral with a sticky juicy sweet lip gloss it's very different I don't have anything similar in my collection long lasting about 6-8 hours I recommend you try before you buy the sticky makeup like scent might not be for everyone but the bottle is to die for.

Ah. 💕 To my nose, LoveMe The Onyx is a beautiful blend of vanilla, hazelnut, heliotrope, and vetiver. A sugar bomb of a cake dripping in icing made by cute little woodland creatures and available for purchase at an enchanted forest pastry shop near you. Sugary. Nutty. Floral.

The combination of the peony with the bold vanilla caught me off guard because I initially thought it was an overbearing sweet pear scent. Haven’t tested it on my own skin yet so I hope my pheromones will bring out the sandalwood complemented by the vanilla.

I love this perfume But it's really smell more vanilla-fruity then nutty, this perfume is very sweet (didn't expect it on a blind buy) If you love this vanilla fresh vibe, you should totally get it

super warm nutty floral better suited for a colder weather the opening is very impractical if it was any smaller I would have to ask a child to spray my perfume for me

This smells soapy and cosmetic-y once it dries down, which is really disappointing for my taste :/ I enjoyed it at first, it smelled sweet and fruity without smelling of actual fruit if that makes sense? Then the vanilla came through, but just as fast it was covered up by the soapy smell and eventually smelled like cosmetics. Not understanding why so many people consider this a gourmand.

I think this is a very joyful and cute peony. It's a sensual perfume that appeals to a young age. It's not a very realistic hazelnut perfume, either I can't pick it out or it blends very well and stays in the background. I could pick up some fruity notes like lychee, but it is not listed. Later, the heliotrope comes through, but the peony never goes away. The vanilla is very airy.

Generic floral perfumed soap. Maybe too much peony? Wearable but meh. Not at all what was expected based on the scent notes. The more I sniff my wrist it's definitely reminiscent of Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold which I'm not a fan of.

The scent is quite unique. It has an interesting composition. Sweet, intoxicating, very rich. I like it when it is sprayed in the air but I can't stand it on myself. It suffocates me, fortunately it doesn't last long.

I expected a little more from Tous. This is a soapy, sugar free version of Scandal, i'm disappointed! It's one of those fragrances that i would only purchase for the cute bottle.

I am disappointed that I can not smell nuts. It has this sharp kind of sweetness that is familiar from some other fragrances. This is extremely feminine. I am a makeup lover but I do not really agree that this smells like makeup. Manceras Wild Cherry has that makeup like smell in my opinion but this is just kind of 90s vibe strong parfumey smelling. I do not dislike it but I might need to face the fact that this perfume is wearing me instead of me wearing it. Im still hoping it will grow on me. Edit: The perfume similar to this is Dior Poison Girl EDP. I prefer this one though. I have decided I can not pull this off. It is too sweet and loud for me.

Nah... It's such a basic smell. When you think 'fragrance for a female', this is what you would smell. It's so underwhelming, I sold mine. The green one on the other hand is really good.

This fragrance has been on my wishlist ever since @fra.grance_collection reviewed it on YouTube, and the fact that not many other people talk about this fragrance only piqued my interest even more. First off, I ADORE this bottle design. On my skin, this fragrance opens up with a blend of Vanilla, Vetiver, and a hint of Grapefruit. The Grapefruit adds a slight tart accord that quickly fades. About 30 mintues into wear, the Hazelnut begans to blossom and blend beautifully with the Vanilla and Vetiver. This fragrance is dry, woody, floral, and powdery. It remind me of an expensive body care product of some sort. Someone mentioned in their review that this has a soapiness to it, and I kind of get that. I think the Heliotrope, Orchid, and Peony contributes to the fresh floral/clean accord, despite being indistinguishable. This fragrance is a clean/fresh take on the Woody/Nutty/Vanilla combo, which I'm not sure has been done before. If so, then not often. I can't think of one "Clean" Vanilla fragrance I own or smelled that smell anything close to this. The performance was very decent on my skin. I got about 5 hours of longevity on my skin and a moderate sillage. This fragrance radiates approximately 2-3 feet within the first 2 hours of wear. Overall, this blind buy was a success for me and I recommend trying this fragrance out if you're able to. Scent: 8/10 Packaging: 10/10 Performance: 7/10

I first smelled this at a duty free and thought about it my entire trip. I was so happy to find it on the way back. On me it starts sweet, almost too sweet, but the citrus from the grapefruit pulls it back just at the right time. It’s grounded by the sandalwood. Someone said they get wild strawberry and once I read that I get it too. Like a sexy and woody wild strawberry jam. I think it’s the orchid that is giving the jammy smell. The vanilla weaves in and out. I do not get any hazelnut at all. It lasts a few hours and dries down as a softly sweet vanilla. I love the bottle too, except the way the cap comes off.

After trying this I was dead sure the main note was wild strawberry and tbh was surprised that there are no berries listed at all. So yeah, to me it's wild strawberries on a heavy bed or vanilla and white flowers, the drydown reminds me of Interdit Rouge by Givenchy Weirdly, several hours later on me it turns into something very similar to Aura by Mugler - a sort of suffocating lush phantasmatic greenery on vanilla

Strangely, to me this smells fruity more than nutty. I get the vanilla and if I search for it, the grapefruit, but there's something juicy about this, almost sugary raspberry. It's very sweet.

This reminds me of a less gourmand Lira. Lira is too lemony and dense for me. This is a softer version. I love this fragrance.

Not good. Bought it and hated it. Immediately gifted it.
