Touch

It turns out that finding a signature perfume is very much like falling in love. I’ve heard people describe scents as being “signature worthy” and I haven’t understood what they meant. I always assumed that anything could be a signature scent if you just wear it often enough and people associate it with you. I picked the fragrance that was my “signature” for my Fragrantica profile by objectively assessing which one I wore more than others (Halston), and now I understand that I didn’t quite know what a signature fragrance could be in the same way that a person could legitimately not know what it is to fall in love. Before falling in love, one might imagine it is a thing that happens when we finally meet someone who checks all the boxes and has all the qualities we are looking for. We might not even realize that we could be looking for someone with all sorts of traits that aren’t even necessarily good for us. Until one day, we meet someone who just IS our person. They might not look like the person we thought we wanted. They might meet various qualifications in various degrees, but all those things are irrelevant, because what matters is the recognition. OH, right, you feel right. You are the person for me. And it is undeniable. So back to perfume, and this fragrance, Tous Touch, after years of various perfume “loves” and all the things I like in a perfume, and all the things I look for, the moment I smelled this, I felt the undeniable recognition of myself. This sounds extremely arrogant, or maybe melodramatic, but the scent feels almost subliminal to me, like I can’t even objectively smell it beyond feeling that this is what I smell like, or perhaps have always smelled like, and maybe it does smell a bit like a baby’s head, so really I might have been born smelling like this, but probably not. It just feels like home, like I feel that I am smelling such a human and natural smell in a way that makes me want to only wear it for the rest of my life, and to hoard every bottle I can find, to liquidate the rest of my collection, to forbid anyone from wearing this besides me. Anyway, I fell in love, am marrying this scent, and even though the relationship is fairly new, I can already tell that it is different than my other love affairs. Thank you for reading.

I can't believe it but I think I found my signature perfume! I never thought this would happen, especially with a blind buy. I had been eyeing this one for literally years, but there were always other fragrances to buy. Lately I've been going back to my old wishlist and retesting some things, but this one was a deal so I got a 30ml without testing. Bingo! I'm not even sure I would have appreciated it back when I first added it to my wishlist - back then I was all about gourmands, and this is not gourmand at all. It is great for those who like me want an easy-wear light fruity chypre for beginners or a very light patchouli (not in the pyramid, but definitely there- the official description mentions leather, which I think is actually patchouli). Very well blended and well balanced, I perceive all the notes at the same volume, none louder than others. The sillage is there but it is polite and refined. I'd say this is a modern fruity chypre, very feminine, sophisticated without being ott. Raspberry and berries in general smell like black tea on my skin for some reason, it is also the case here and I love it! The unlisted patchouli note is muted, slightly bitter but soft, it almost smells like suede (which to me adds to the whole black tea illusion). The drydown is sweet but not gourmand, and the blueberry is definitely there! It's been 5 hours and I can still smell the heart notes on my sleeve but on my wrist it's gone down to base notes already. It's the bottom of the tea cup, with all the sweet berries macerated in black tea. Slightly woody, but again I don't see any woody notes in the pyramid. It's perfect for spring imho, today is grey and rainy, and this fragrance really sparkles! Update: the review was for a bottle from a 2020 batch, bought another 50ml from Jan 2022 and it's just not the same...I'm disappointed!

Oooh la la 💋 this is such a pretty little thing. I love the taire flower so I knew I would really love this scent and I do 🌸🌷🌸 I have never smelled lotus however there is a lotus note listed in this perfume and I think I detect it and its very lovely and " airy and watery soft"....Lets first let's talk about this exquisite bottle. The elongated golden🌠 metal pounded cap is just gorgeous and how darling is the cute bear charm dangling?? ( tip= if you do not like the bear charm just simply remove it.). It reminds me of Egypt. First thing I get when i spray it is a fruit 🍾champagne Fizz... but I can really smell the freesia too on me on this one along with the apricot , 🍓raspberries and blueberries.. but it is also lemony !!!🍋 Oh yes it's very buttery and creamy but also has it's very uplifting vibe about it that I can explain it is absolutely incredible. Its a fruiter version of my beloved NOA. Its delicious like 🍊fruity jam or jelly with a hint of vanilla🍦. Fun and uplifting. Very girlie. Night or day. Any season. I got it for 21.00 off Ebay what a steal. This golden juice will now be a must have and I will by more bottles. I hope its never discontinued. Its buttery classy and fun all of what I love ⭐ The only downside this is a eu du toilette not a parfum so it is not as vibrant and rich. There is very little sillage, therefore I have declared this a skin scent. I love skin scents but this one is barely there noticeable. It is a beautiful scent I just wish it had more projection because I can not see this scent offending anyone it is very light and clean even though it is fruity.

To my nose this scent is in the same class as Narciso edt, SJP lovely, Guerlain Idylle edp. All of which I love. Compared to the other 3, I think this is a bit more sensual. Some times I even think it's more mature, but just by a little bit and not in an "old-lady" kind of way. If I were to compare it one by one: Compared to NR edt, it's less musky and more floral-fruity. Compared to SJP lovely, it's less powdery and more airy-frutiy. Compared to Idylle, it's more sensual and has more depth. If you enjoy either 3, I would definitely recommend you try this too. The bottle design is also worth mentioning. The cap and suede pouch gives it a rustique feel and the teddy bear necklace adds a chic touch to it. I can detect an eensy bit of earthy bitterness at times, but I really have to stick my nose to it and find it. I actually haven't noticed the bitterness until I read one of the reviews mentioning it here. sillage is arms length, longevity is great. I can put it on in the morning and still smell it on my skin the day after.

This is my signature scent and has been my signature scent for three years now. I wanted to find a fragrance that represented who I REALLY am. No more ultra sweet and shy scents. I wanted to feel sensual, bold and feminine. This perfume did that for me. It truly does remind you of sand, leather, roses and gold. It's empowering and it's not shy and overly sweet. This perfume also has the best perfume bottle I've ever owned, I simply haven't gotten tired of the bottle, thus far. I love the hammered golden top that makes you think you're handling a potion bottle from Ancient Egypt but then that playfully contrasts with the little hammered gold teddy bear dangling on a leather string in front! I love how it comes in its own leather drawstring pouch, which just adds to the sand-dune-in-Egypt feeling. It's mysterious and yet equally playful at the same time and I must say that the spirit of the bottle expresses the precious fragrance inside it very well.

I tested this perfume in June 2011. I have been so disappointed : Touch, on my skin, smelt nothing special. Nothing but leather and, during a few minutes, it reminded me some Kate Moss fragrances and it disappeared. I told myself that I had to test it again because so much members talked about sweet and warm notes and I would have liked to have the same. Now, in November, it's done : I tested Touch again, during a few cold days. And I'm happy to say that it's a yummy perfume. It's leather first, then the floral notes sweeten the mix. That's why it's sweet and gourmand by the end. So, for me, it's definitely a perfume for cold weather. A lot of people asked me what it was, they thought it was yummy and it suited me. Now, for sure, I will test perfumes several times to give them chances to be liked.

I am not sure what to say other than this fragrance is unpleasantly bitter and not gourmand at all. It feels like bitter almond took over and dominated the fragrance completely. While I do love bitter almond (Hypnotic Poison Elixir) the note presented here feels like a stale almond note mixed with a hint of bitter jasmine reminding me of suffocating Jasmin Noir by Bvlgari. No lily of the valley, no osmanthus, no tiare, no vanilla, no raspberry. Just rotten stench. I had high hopes for Touch since I am a gourmand lover and love perfumes created by Sophie Labbe but Touch simply does not deliver. Nothing to do with gourmand at all. Staying power not bad at all but I don't find it an advantage here, since it causes nausea and is so hard to get rid of my wrists. The bottle is lovable.

If I could give 20 stars review to this perfume I definitely would, Ugh!!! what an elegant, unique and gorgeous scent! I blind bought it like 5 months ago and I am in love, it opens like if you jump in a bed of lilies and white flowers, then it gives you those beautiful jasmine notes and settles in the most delicate sweet scent. I love how this one dries up on my skin, is just so mysterious yet sexy, I get a lot, a lot of compliments with this one and even after showering I can smell it on some parts of my body specially my hair and neck. if you are looking for a new mysterious and enchanting fragrance I highly recommend you to try this one, and give it a moment, she is a little bit "loud" at the beginning but after 5 min you would might love it a lot.

Nothing distinctive or spectacular about Tous Touch, it's indeed a generic perfume, but it's a well executed one, beautifully blended, with a generous projection and longevity. Imagine the fruitiness of berries mixed with creamy tiare, fresh and green jasmine, and the innocence of water floral. And all those notes are balanced and warmed by fair amount of vanilla. I somehow smell charming sandalwood in the base eventhough it's not in the list. Conclusion, there is nothing wrong about generic fragrances and about loving them. It doesn't make you less legit as a fragrance lover lol. If they make you feel good, if their smell comfort you, or if they simply remind you of those nicest memories in your life, go for it!

This is a very lovely fragrance, so sophisticated, but actually not for everyone, my sister can't stand the smell when she sniff it from the bottle, but after I put it on, she said, "wow you really nailed that Tous". And that's the highest compliment coming from her. Tous Touch itself, actually isn't my usual type of fragrance, it's grande, it's elegant, while I usually go for the fresh, dynamic fragrance, but I'm captivated by the smell, I can't make out the notes though, but it's floral and creamy, yet so fresh. Great lasting, great sillage, people know it's me when I came into the room. I love it, but really, don't blind buy this, try it first and find out whether or not it suits you.

This was my signature scent for quite a while! It really does smell like what I imagine sand in a dessert would smell like! Makes me think of balmy nights and faraway mystical lands. I remember when I first smelled this in the perfume store, I remarked to the sales assistant about how well the model was representing the scent (the model in the print ads). Vivacious, confident, unbridled, edgy... The kind of person you would expect to be living in a desert riding camels but at the same time paying a visit to the nearest metropolis to go shopping! Think of an "It Girl" in Dubai. Who likes to ride camels. That's what this smells like.

When I first smelled this fragrance I pictured a fresh juicy raspberry floating in a champagne flute with soft light bubbles floating to the top of the glass. This fizziness, zestiness that runs through this fragrance like electricity, is almost metallic to me- it's the tarte raspberry. This is perfect for a summer date night at a fine dining restaurant, you know the type with a patio and fire pit.

I’m shocked this isn’t more popular here. Smells expensive and the notes come through very organized, not a clash of them. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this fragrance, such a buttery, elegant, sophisticated, upscale smell. Fun fact there was a behind the scenes video of Taylor Swift warming up on her last tour and she had this fragrance in her dresser.

this is a very beautiful fragrance, it's very soft, creamy, powdery, vanillic, silky texture, lasts long, it's just like a fairytail. it features all the lovely powdery petals of white flowers, calmed down with balmy sweet fruity base... such a precious! it's like wrapped in creamcolored luxury silk and dreaming :) very pretty sillage, love it!

This is the best perfume I ever had! And I have and had many perfumes from all well known brands to prestigious perfumery houses But something about touch tous always made it so unique for me I can't describe it but it always smelled super elegant on my skin. Guerlain idylle is kind of similar but not the same

Love it! Beautiful floral fruity fragrance, at first I smell something in it I don't like, but then just some minutes later, the fragrance turns into a delicious mix of fruity floral without being over powering, I would say it smells very elegant and classy, but also modern and young! I LOVE it!

This fragrance is seamlessly blended; raspberry, freesia, almond, and tiare notes are fantastic, and provide an almost laundry-fresh sweetness that I absolutely love. This scent is perfect for summer, especially if you live in a humid climate.

This was a blind buy based on other reviews and the base notes, it's beautiful! Soft & sweet, not very floral on me, which I don't mind. Somehow it smells like sweet green tea, with vanilla & almond. Good for all seasons.

it' s a bit childish but also a feminen fragrance. it reminds me Lanvin Rumeur.

There's patchouli in the heart here somewhere but it's very soft and fuzzy. The raspberry is fizzy and fresh, it adds too much of a champagne sparkle/effervescence for my liking and takes the scent outside of my comfort zone, plus I am not overly keen on anything fruity/patchouli in character, bar Gucci - Gucci and Vivienne Westwood's Let It Rock. So, this stops short of being a "goody" for me due to the overly fizzy nature of the raspberry and that hint of patchouli. If the raspberry didn't dominate quite so much there would be some promise here, but I'm just not a fruity perfume person. My personally preferred fizzy fruit dominant (raspberry/strawberry style berry heavy) scent is Bonjour L'Amour by Anna Sui. Recommend that to fans of this. That has the upper hand for me, leaving this a little redundant. That bottle though. The Tous Touch - beautiful. With the bag it seems like a little treasure from a game such as Zelda. A little sack of magic. Only wish the scent inside had been more to my liking! Rather potent in the offing, dries down soft and fruity-fizzy. Champagne and raspberries with a touch of woodiness. Lasts well, really good longevity. The light floral notes add some depth/sway, but do not take centre stage - which is a shame. Nice and jammy. A tasty, sweet & fizzy, fruity & tart scent.

I finally overcame the sight of the teddy bear that put me off buying Touch for a long time and got it. Very inoffensive,warm fragrance. Extremely pleasant and great for casual wear all year around, but it doesn't rise above the casual category. Somehow, reminds me of D&G The One a little, but minus the powderiness. Despite the softness, the sillage is pretty decent, because i can enjoy it without having to sniff my wrist. Staying power is about 2-3 hours which is not great, but for the price you can reapply it. Too bad I can't get rid of the teddy bear, the damn thing is glued to the bottle. Seems like Tous mostly goes for safe casual fragrances (I judge by H2O and Touch and reviews of other fragrances). So I am closing the door on exploring Tous for now, because I have more than enough casual perfumes, and I am more into intense fragrances that make a statement. But if you are specifically looking for a casual scent for daily use, you can't go wrong with Touch. Decent quality for a reasonable price.

This perfume have been in my collection for a while now, and I enjoy it every time I used it. I have a travel size bottle, so I used it sparingly, but is a great perfume. Well blended, I can’t pick one single note, just a beautiful mix of flowers and something deeper, slightly sweet. If I have to describe it, I will said this fragrance embody a beautiful and elegant women enjoying a luxurious holiday in some exotic middle eastern destination. However, at my skin, this scent doesn’t projects or last. I’m using it right now, and is hard to perceives it. Only at my clothes is where I can sense the smell. Even though is a gorgeous fragrance, great for a signature scent (At some point I considered myself), in my case is a no full bottle worthy. The lack of projection and staying power are the main aspects of my decision. Overall is a beautiful perfume, elegant, classy, not simple at all, feminine and even mysterious in a subtle but outstanding way.

I love the opening of this perfume, but as it dries down....I get a major latex smell. I am on my second test of this perfume. This time I over sprayed so I could definitely get a good idea of what exactly I'm smelling. Still getting the latex vibe, but I will provide an update later. Maybe it's the leathery smell coming through from the osmanthus....I don't know...I am honestly at a loss for words on this one! UPDATE 5/30/22: I still get the latex vibe after a 3rd test. However, I think it is only when I'm smelling it close to my skin. If I smell where I sprayed from a little further away, and use my hand to waft the fragrance toward my nose, then I smell more of the blueberry / almond base notes. Still not my favorite, but the bottle is cute and I can see myself layering with something else. On its own??.....most likely not.

Tous Touch is an almost transparent, light fruity floral with a watery freshness that underpins all three of the Tous perfumes I'm familiar with -- Touch, Gold, and the OG with the silver teddy bear cap. I get some raspberry and blueberry, osmanthus, and lotus, with maybe a hint of almond, freesia, and lily of the valley, but zero tiare and vanilla. Touch reminds me a lot of a fruitier, less floral version of Tous Gold (which has a LOT of gardenia!). To my nose, Touch is not that strong in the sillage department, nor is it particularly long lasting, but it's very pretty for folks who like fruity floral aquatic freshies like Hilfiger Tommy Girl, Avon Dreamlife, and Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue. What it lacks in strong character, it makes up in sheer pretty freshness. Plus, it's one of my most favorite perfume bottles. :)

This perfume was gifted to me by a boyfrined back in highschool and I didn't really think much of it. I was used to gourmands and felt it was too mature for me. Recently my father gifted this to my mother and I smelled it again. It's been more that 10 years and now I have a different opinion as my scent preferences have evolved. Even though is kind of generic bevause I believe I've smelled similar fragrances before, I really liked it because I found it balanced and very well blended. Fruity, slightly powdery and delicate florals. Elegant and sophisticated. It smells like a luxurious type of fresh and clean. To me it smells a bit of rose (which I have recently have started to appreciate more) but maybe is the combination of notes that give off the impression of that accord.

The reviews for this one intrigued me to the point where I couldn't stop myself from buying this. Yes, it is buttery. Yes, it is a 'rich woman' smell. Yes, it does remind me of a desert night; however it is quite hard to describe. For me it has a power of making the world around me feel a bit cleaner and happier, and me- a bit more put together and posh. It's a soft, oddly uplifting aroma of something between a flower and a fruit.I thought that I'm going crazy, because I feel much jasmine in this one - a clean light sort of jasmine, a jasmine on the bed of warm golden sand with a few blueberries around. That's how it smells to me. Deliciously blended. Bottle is beautiful. The only downside- lasting power :( It develops beautifully in the summer heat though.

I think I rediscovered this perfume agan...but in a different environment! I used it a couple of times and forgot all about it, because I found it pretty boring to wear out (I prefer perfumes with strong character, even fresh ones, to express myself). But a few days ago I randomly grabbed it to spray before my workout....and it was just perfect for that purpose. It's kind of fresh and slightly sweet, and smells very natural, none of those perfumy notes. I even think of repurchasing it now...of course if I ever run out. So if you contemplate buying Touch, just figure out for what purposes you are buying it. It is an extremely casual scent, but to its credit very natural smelling.

I must admit I avoided this bottle because of the little bear hanging at the neck - I thought it was too childish for me, but once I'd smelled I fell in love with it! Soft, lightly sweet, and long-lasting! Not very sophisticated, just lovely; so lovely, that I couldn't say "no" to it. The opening seems quite usual and generally-well-known, but the longer you smell it the more you want to...The drydown is beautifull, soft, sensual and reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle in a way, and of the sand dunes too. I've bought it, cut off the teddy and now I like the bottle too.

It's a simply delicious scent, sweet fruity and fresh floral notes on a bed of vanilla. This is quite a linear scent, it stays pretty much the same from the first spritz till the dry down. Wears close to the skin and unfortunately on me it doesn't last long at all :( Too bad because I DO really like it a lot!!! I agree with Schwaanism, try Tous Gold too if you like this scent. Tous Gold on me is at least as good, but has a little more sillage and much better staying power on me!

This one in my opinion is a "safe" fragrance, I can ́t imagine that anyone would say it ́s too much, because it ́s very light, really likeable, feminine but not too sweet, vanilla raspberry and almond creamy smell. For me personally it ́s a good fragrance for autumn or spring. For summer I don ́t consider it refreshing enough. Altough it stays close to skin, it has an incredible lasting power on me, and really I haven ́t find many perfumes so far, with good lasting power.

I have to come back to my previous review on this. I still like it a lot! When I first started wearing it in winter season I found it had no stayingpower on my skin and I was unable to smell it on myself. Now I have worn it about 3 times in warmer weather and it definitely improves longevity and sillage on my skin. Longevity is no longer weak, but modest. I will get about 5 hours and I am able to smell it myself, which I love!! Flowers & Vanilla, it smells really lovely!

A pretty, fruity floral with a gentle effervescence that brings to mind garden parties and floaty dresses. The berry notes keep it light and bright, tempering the floral sweetness. Not the greatest longevity but I am happy to reapply a couple of times during the day as it’s so refreshing. Drydown is light vanilla nuttiness sitting pretty close to the skin. Possibly not groundbreaking but this one really suits me and I reach for it instinctively on warmer days.

Interesting one. I can never quite decide how I feel about it. It's a nice fragrance. The base vaguely reminds me of YSL Cinema with a bit of a woody note added and without the harsh background tone Cinema can have. I have a trial size though. Maybe it normally smells different than what I received? I don't detect any fruitiness as mentioned by others, and barely any vanilla. I had been told it had a great vanilla quality but I'm not smelling it.

On me it's all about freesia, lily of the valley and jasmin with a touch of osmanthus sweetness peeking through, very clean and pleasant, perfect for spring. I'm not getting any of the most popular notes here. Must be a chameleon scent. I'm happy with it so far, it's very fresh, natural smelling and feminine. I can't wait to discover how it develops in a warmer weather (it's still a chill though sunny early spring here)

The bottle is really cute indeed. The fragrance is nice too, a mix of sweet flowers and a bit fruity-sour notes(osmanthus), the result being very similar to Bvlgari Rose Essentielle and Alain Delon Samourai. It has an amazing sillage and it's universally suitable and likable.

I bought this on sale today, it was ahlf price, so that was pretty good. I like it, it reminds me of coco mademoiselle the first few seconds on the skin. I like wearing very fresh, fruity smells, this to me is a bit too leathery, so I would only wear it at night.

omg, this is really nice! I love raspberries and this one creates a nice balance between sweetness and freshness, so i could not agree more with the reviews below. It is a playful yet shy fragrance but I wouldn't say it was childish or girlish.

I'm in love with this beautiful fragrance.It's warm and fresh at the same time, like when the sun and the wind touch your skin on a sunny day.Absolutely feminin,playful,romantic and unique scent, the sillage and the staying power great too.:)

I laughed when I read the AI-generated comments above, then I sprayed my arm. Yup, strongly smells of solvent at first and very repulsive. I did ride that phase out and now I'm getting lotus. No way to vote hate and like together..

Warm liquified sunlight. Raspberry almond jasmine honey and the scent of lily of the vallay. Alluring, soft. Great silage and longevity on me. Almost an oriental floral, fruit barely perceptible. Just lovely.

Easy reach. Somehow different to most of the fruity/floral I have ever tried. Suitable for all ages. It's an Eau the toilet and performs poorly but I still love the smell.

i loved it when i smelled it on a friend of mine, but then i tried it on me and there is something strange and wrong on the smell.. so i don't like it anymore =(

Warm, soft, sweet, bright and romantic. To me it's like a younger version of L`Or de Torrente. A lovely choice for winter!

It's pretty strong, but not bad. Smells like a flower possibly rose. Not sure if I'd buy a full size bottle.

This is absolutely marvellous. Oh how I am regreting not buying it in the airport duty free. At first sniff I wasn't immediately bowled over,but by the time I was sat on the plane it was tremendous, I sniffed it constantly, there is something expensive and sophisticated about it, something slightly buttery. It is fantastically well blended, not a single note jumps out alone, they all dance together and become one beautiful entity. I so want it now, I want to smell like I have money and good taste! I want to be wearing wide leg linen trousers and my sunglasses on top of my head, carrying a giant beach bag as I wander Teguise. WANT!

This was a meh for me. I was really excited to try it because I had heard so many good things and that it was a hidden gem. I ordered a sample online and was disappointed. It’s a little boring and doesn’t hang around long. It’s not terrible but I can think of several other perfumes I’d rather have in its place to fill this category.

This reminds me of when I was young, and was shopping with my mother in Lord & Taylor’s, and suddenly caught the scent of perfume on an older woman. It smelled heavy, rich and elegant, but much too mature for me. Well, now I’M the older woman and this STILL smells much too mature for me.

@ antfarm & everybody re: the logo. I thought the teddy was great, really cute when I first saw it. Those ARE it's legs. Thanks to someone somewhere a few years ago, they ruined it for me by making me see the comedy busty bear.. Once seen it is impossible to unsee, unfortunately.
