Tous Kids Boy

TOUS Kid Boys was a last minute addition to my cart, mostly because I was just curious about what water, clover, and grass notes would actually smell like. I expected it to be kind of meh, maybe something I’d end up giving away. But honestly, I’ve been reaching for it way more than I thought I would. One reviewer said it works well as a secondary scent, like a body spray, and that’s spot on. I’ve been using it (3-4 sprays) on my mid and lower body, then hitting my neck with one spray of Acqua di Gio Profumo. The two layer surprisingly well, and somehow, the TOUS actually sticks around longer than the Acqua, which I didn’t expect at all. The scent itself is really clean, fresh, and safe, nothing offensive. It opens with a quick blast of alcohol, but that fades in seconds and changes into a citrusy lemon that lasts longer than the citrus I get from Eros Energy or Tangerine Boy by Phlur. Eventually it settles into a soft, green water/clover/grass smell that lasts for HOURS. Totally underrated. It’s an easy, casual wear, great solo or as part of a layered combo.

I love this. I blind-bought it for my son to give to him on his next birthday. It will be his first fragrance. The concept of children wearing fragrances is a little odd to me as an American, although it seems the concept is familiar in other cultures. But my son is very scent-aware and seems interested when he sees me and his father wearing fragrances, so I know he will appreciate this. This fragrance is so uplifting; it's like sunshine in a bottle. It starts out a bit like a gin and tonic, the green, sweet, and citrus notes all mingling with effervescent alcohol. After a minute, that fades and the orange really starts to shine. The drydown just shimmers. Something about this reminds me of (my memory of) Giorgio Beverly Hills, but like a more simplified, less obnoxious version! I could see a female wear this easily. A very happy, sunny scent.

Very clean, light & airy scent. It was a gift for my kid (boy) & he wears it every time he showers. My toddler likes it too but he has Tous Baby (sleepy bear).
