Love Everlasting

I love this stuff! It smells so fresh and floral, yet there is this sharp greenness to it, like when you cut a flower stem. It does have and icyness like crisp spring air in the mountains on a chilly morning. It is so unique and wonderful, I love it.

I really enjoy this for cold weather. An icy, but inviting, floral. I get a pretty snowdrop and soft iris that's round and powdery. This isn't very fruity on me (but that may just be because I can't pick a specific one out). The watery element/"glacial accord" is very much a crisp air, crunchy snow. This does remind me of Provocative Woman; but PW was a little more abrasive to my nose from what I remember. (I did not really enjoy wearing PW but can't remember those specifics). Love Everlasting is an easy wear that's very polished. Linear, feminine, and delightful.

Review from the perfume rejects basket. Have owned a small, half ounce roller bottle of the elixir for many years. I believe it was purchased not long after Love Everlasting was released, from QVC. I recall the release of LE and the gorgeous bottle but the notes didn't call out to me so when this small bottle was offered I went for it. In the well over a decade that I've owned it, it looks untouched. It turns out my initial thoughts on the notes were correct. All I get on my skin is a generic "water note", which is "masculine" to my nose. Linear and unchanging. Liquid laundry soapish. I'm a big fan of TOVA, Signature, Autumn, Summer but Love Everlasting just doesn't do it for me. Many rejects have made the leap from the basket into rotation. Not this time.

The original bottle of this was very beautiful. It almost looked like an ice castle. This scent by Tova is meant to express her love to her homecountry Norway. That is why you find northern flowers in it. It's a nice and light scent for summer and daytime. One could describe it as airy and flowery. It wasn't a scent for me, but it is surely a different flower scent than the usual ones. The lasting power was not so great, maybe 4 hours.

Smells like you’re washing off a plate covered in sugary pancake syrup

I absolutely adore this perfume by TOVA!! & Indeed I can fully understand this perfume & the way that Tova state's that it reminds her of her beautiful home country Norway!! To me it's like fresh crisp Springtime in a bottle,& not synthetic in anyway!! I love the Cloudberry opening & the icy coldness it gives when sprayed onto my skin!! The perfume develops absolutely beautifully like fresh cut flowers that have been freshly cut from your garden!! It's not cloying in anyway just Cool/Fresh/Clean/Green with that goegeous Cloudberry opening going into the most beautiful precious flowers native to beautiful Norway!! You honestly can nearly feel the cool/clean crystal clear water flowing down the mountain side/Soft rainfall falling on the greenery causing a beautiful waterfall to cascade down!! Tova really has done such a marvellous job creating this gorgeous perfume,& I can fully understand her dedicating it to her love of Norway!! The lasting power of this perfume is also excellent lasting well into the night & next morning when your getting your morning shower!! I have received so many compliments when im wearing this perfume Dr's/Surgeon's/fellow Theather Staff & Patient's alike all have said how really beautiful I always smell!! Tova Signature-Autum/Summer/Tova Nights/Love Everlasting & Ambre D'oro are all real favourits of mine!! Tova sure has class & is one really lovely lovely lady!! Please NEVER discontinue this other little gem
