Chen Xi First Light of Dawn

This fragrance was a gift from one of my best friends along with Abbey Rose and Pink Kat of the same line. This one is my favorite- but Pink Kat is a close second, this is what i have been looking for- a very yummy creamsicle with some ginger and spice! This is the best SPRAY high end orange vanilla scent I have ever encountered (Profumum was such a disappointment, as I love Aqua e Zucherro so much along with Vanitas). The ginger and lilly really make it less straight up gourmand and more wearable for most people. Vanilla is not a listed note but I am sure it's there on me at least. Amazing fragrance made in Ojai Ca! my fav combo is this with Pink Kat!

This is one of the most amazing scents I have ever smelled. This comes in a spray and roll-on oil. I have the roll-on oil which I believe wears much better and portrays the notes individually. It doesn't last as long as I would like it to, but since I enjoy it so much, and try to reserve this expensive oil, I carry it with me, and have the chance to let others smell. I truly enjoy the mandarin/lily combo but have often tried to figure out the rest. That's what brought me to this website! Now I know all the notes. And hopefully I can recreate it at home to save myself the $56.00 per bottle. I doubt this scent would translate well into a candle, nor would I want it for a room. But on the neck and wrists- Feminine, modern, and amazingly enough, it does remind you of the dawn.

Completely agree with jbello - the scent does not last very long. But it is beautiful and original. You can smell not very usual type of lemon, which is more like a lemongrass than citrus.
