Déchets

This little perfume turned out to be one of my absolute favorites jasmine scents. yes, opulent, sharp white floral, which already makes it worth my time, but what seals the deal for me is a distinct lit cigarette smell. This is absolutely fantastic. I need to compare it "wrist to wrist" with EDLO's Jasmin et Cigarettes.

This really smells wonderful despite it being the french word for garbage or trash. I got a nice size decant of this at the portland market. So good so floral and so sensual. It has a leathery smell to it due to the saffron. Ill never forget it <3

absolute favorite perfume, perhaps only beaten out by treading water’s own rose and the bush. there’s a lovely floral scent with some ‘burning’ undertone that i haven’t seen anywhere else.

Feb 6th. Testing blind, there was something very familiar there like floral sweet (not rose but gardenias?) just to know now it's jasmine, and I feel I should have picked that straight out. But there's a sweetness in there, something candy like (the ghost of a grape jolly rancher comes to mind), but also getting waves of something more moody, like smoke or leather in the background (also way off). Either way the mix is a feminine leaning of floral powder (light) and bits of warm sweetness come and go. Much is explained by looking at the notes now, where the Jasmine dances well with the tuberose, and the saffron and cardamom provide a mysterious shadow, where the angelica root strengthens the greenness (especially in the opening) and adding the sweetness. Overall, it's an interesting scent but is decidedly jasmine in its more floral and (to me green tea) fragrant appealing side, which, with the tuberose, give it that feminine lean. It suggests spring, but keeps a hint of mystery and darkness in its saffron and cardamom. (too feminine for me but a gift?)

Dechets is a floral scent with a backbone made of pure diamond. It has to be the strongest floral fragrance I have ever smelled, though the spices come through to balance nicely and render it more unisex than feminine. Very nice.
