A few things you need to know first of all. I no longer buy or wear cyphres. Not a big fan of tuberose - to say the least. Not a fan of sharp green florals. But this, this is heaven. This is soft and refreshing and layered and balanced and beautiful and romantic and sensual...and I could go on but you get the idea. I have fallen in floral, tuberose, green love. Not a pointy edge in sight. It starts bright and citrusy - fresh and not at all what I expected. The florals reveal themselves slowly, those dragonflies dancing around in an amazing ballet of scent. This is truly feminine and slightly sweet - although I'm sure men would appreciate the freshness. The drydown has a slight powdery quality - smooth and just dense enough to appreciate the flowers. I detect a hint of violet, maybe iris (orris), whatever it is, it fits together like the most perfect ensemble. Based on the notes, it's not something I would ever had tried, but I'm so happy I did. It's glorious and fits me perfectly. I love every single shade and colour Anjana produces. I can't recommend it enough. A little goes a long way, and it projects perfectly - around 5-6 feet which is the way I love to wear fragrance. You can play around with the amount you use to your liking, but I like it close to me. Funny old tuberose. You've had me fooled all these years. Or perhaps I just needed to find one that had been in the right hands?
