Taif Rose

my pure white sunrise and my amber sunset. fresh roses on top of all the once cracked, dry dirt bloomed seemingly overnight (unknown 2016) One glorious perfectly scented rose encased in a warm liquid amber pool. I've been quietly wandering the fragrance world learning about amber. The stone itself is a fossil, fossilized tree sap, and smells nothing like the note we know to be amber. In fact, it has no smell really unless burned. It is created in the imagination of true artists, based on an ancient recipe. The stone itself is best left for jewels and collections. In the right hands, this created amber is perfection. It shines with the warmth of the sun, is ever so lightly sweetened, and glows on the skin long after applied. This amber takes my breath away, and just when I think it's safe to inhale once again, I'm gifted with the fragrance of a rose so pure and innocent, it can only live on this golden base. This pairing is the work of a mystical, magical perfumer and deserves to be known and worn and appreciated. It glows for hours, sits close to the skin,and brings together the ancient and the modern in an elegant perfume.

It can say that Taif Rose is a special one around roses enthusiasts. Someday I've been wanted to try it for a long time. And finally I was able to try it by my dear perfumer, Teone of TRNP! Plus it's natural perfume. Though sorry that I can't find something other words, this is amazing. It's glamorous and splendid rose. Mysore Sandalwood directs the smell of flowers warmly, complementing the beautiful and exotic rose. The next morning, I realize that it has changed to a gentle aroma, so you will be touched by this magic again. It doesn't need to another word. Amazing.

Taif Rose has a similar (not exactly the same) cola-like sweet amber accord to that of Embers with prominent Taif rose and sandalwood. I also detect patchouli in the drydown. The Taif rose here does not smell sharp, citrusy or lemony, it leans more towards the fruity side (Litchi like), almost edible with sweet pink rosy nuances. Teone mentions the use of Taif Rose absolute rather than rose otto, which explains why the rose feels sweeter, thicker and not as bright as expected. Some might feel that it is a simple blend but it is very smooth and warm.

What a glorious rose fragrance. This is very different to what I have in my perfume collection as it’s very feminine but damn it’s so good. It has a vanilla and creamy rose smell which makes this a gourmand and very delicious. Dry down is very earth and resinous but the opening is still there. Perfect Winter,Autumn and Spring day and night fragrance with medium silaage and projection but the restraint on projection is what gives it a more personal feel. Great woman’s Valentines perfume.

i have a sample of this, and it is going straight onto my wislist. Some days I want to wear a fragrance that only I can smell, and Taif Rose by TRNP suits this situation.
