Praline & Pistachio

I've always disliked that first spray of fragrance that has my nose scrunched up like "ew ew ew alcerherl" - but this is sweet and nutty right out of the bottle. It's nice and rich, perfect for my weak ass nose. Strangely enough the pistachio and the praline are not the stars of this scent, but the notes that are support them fairly well. The coconut really amps up the nuttiness and the caramel + marshmallow amp up the praline with both airiness and syrupy goodness. I'm not really catching the cappuccino note, but I see how it fits into the composition. I've worn this with the Midnight Amber Glow body cream from B&BW, which I swear has a cappuccino note, to add some depth to the composition. I also think it could benefit with just a pinch of salt - both the pistachio and caramel would stand out better with it. I've also layered it with Miim.miic's impression of Kayali's Yum Pistactio Gelato, No 57, for that bit of tonka bean and sandalwood to ground it all. I'd say it lasts around 3 hours on me with a single spray until it's undetectable and I'm just deeply inhaling the skin of my wrist like an idiot. Note that I have a shit nose, so someone with the nose of a hound might say differently. And... goodness gracious, who the hell is selling this for thrice what they paid for it? I don't know who's falling for it - unless the first ever formulation blew my bottle out of the park (the label is slightly different from the pictures I'm seeing on the listings), I wouldn't waste my money. While it's a great gourmand for $15; it'd be best not to push it unless you've scoured every TJ Maxx/Marshall's in the area.

To my nose, and in support of what others are saying, it is identical to Miim Miic 62 Coconut Gourmands which is an impression of Sol de Janeiro 39. That is straight popcorn to me, and I don’t get any coconut. When I think of what coconut smells like I think of traditional sunscreen or an Almond Joy. Praline & Pistachio doesn’t give me coconut, honey, sandalwood, or marshmallow but mainly buttery sugared popcorn. I am glad I read the reviews so that I could cross Caramel Pop by Vivamor (pricey), Sweet Tooth by Sabrina Carpenter (I don’t live near a Walmart) and SDJ ‘71 (inflated pricing by Sephora) off my list for now. While it is nutty and sweet, I mostly get buttered popcorn. It is whimsical to smell like popcorn. It is quirky. It is funny to hear people ask, “Did you bake something?” And if you like snacking, it’s the olfactory equivalent of a head massage. So soothing. To boost the longevity, the best items I have to layer it with are BBW Whipped Coconut Milkshake body cream (more toasty than lactonic to me, so it brings out the savory side of P&P) and Native Sugar Cookie deodorant (another buttery gourmand). I hope SDJ ‘71 will come in a body butter soon so I can anchor P&P with it.

Praline & Pistachio by Tru and Caramel Pop by Vivamor parfumes A.K.A. Navitus are 1000% percent identical as well as Sol De Janeiro 71. I have ALL 3 of these and I can't tell the difference hardly. I bought Praline & Pistachio from my local TJ Maxx for $14.99 on sale and I sprayed myself with it and it immediately 😅 took my breath away with the Caramel buttery Popcorn sweetness. Then that's when it dawn on me......... I have this in my collection that is 1000% identical and I put it away in my closet in a cool place along with my Sol De Janeiro 71. I couldn't put the bottle down, so I bought it and brought it home to compare all 3 😁 and they are indeed identical. I can't tell the difference and the dry-down is the same. If you couldn't get your hands on Caramel Pop by Vivamor parfumes A.K.A Navitus, then head to your local TJ Maxx and find this gem. I think I paid $140 For Caramel Pop and Praline & Pistachio cost me $14.99 so if I had to choose 😅 with the cost, I would DEFINITELY get Tru Praline & Pistachio, and Sol De Janeiro 71 which was $20.

Coming from someone who isn’t much of a gourmand girly i have to say this is fye! When i Initially purchased it , I thought It smelled nice but just okay. I let it sit on my shelf with infrequent use for a while (i bought it last spring 2024) but when i pulled this out in the cold November this hit another beat for me. It’s so cozy and warm it smells like marshmallows ,caramel and pistachios . Maybe i got lucky but this lasts all day for me. I like it for work for the first three hours it definitely projects but becomes a cozy skin scent that is very much noticeable even after my 8 hour shift. This is way better than the Pistachio Kayali because that one is more soapy while this smells fresh baked. I can definitely say this is a hit for me because usually i swap out my perfumes so i have a new olfactory experience at work or whatever everyday buttt i’ve had a firm grasp on this bottle and i’ve been using this for weeks straight , i’ll be sad when it’s gone. This scent is good not good because it’s cheap ! iykyk❤️

so when I got this, there were no reviews anywhere for this . As a pastry chef, when I saw it at Marshalls or whatever I picked it up just to smell and thought to myself it’s gonna smell like artificial coffee syrup. WRONG! It smells deliciously, nutty, and like praline creamy and good yes it doesn’t have a lot of longevity but God i love to mix it with other things. I spray it all over my linen sheets and my pillow and my bath towels in my bathroom and I douse myself in it regularly as well. This thing is a cheap delight. I’m seeing it now online for $60! I saw a couple of other flavors of this but not another bottle of it. We’ll see. I’ll never pay $50 for a bottle this stuff, but it smells in my opinion better than any other dupe of Kayali Yum pistachio. I’ll go one better. it smells better than that too! I have all the others, but let me tell you I always add a little bit of this to it for some bang!

lol okay, i got it! it smells sooo good! 🫧 this smells very similar to Cheriosa 71 and as matter a of fact i will be pairing the two. this smells like it but without white chocolate. it has praline and honey and a nutty note unlike cheriosa 71. 🫧 i get more of a beachy smell. Cheriosa 71 is a warmm smell and Praline and Pistachio is more coconut-y. it definitely lasts long too. 🫧 the difference between the two is Cheriosa 71 is WAYYY more warm and Praline and Pistachio is the cooler, nuttier version of it.. a lil sour imo it smells nice and I will be getting it again! and it's in tjmaxx, by the way, pls don't pay more than $17 for this because some people are selling it for $50 for some reason lol

Canadian folks - I can't believe I actually found this one and Vanilla Potion in Montreal. Guys, if we got them here in Quebec, you'll be able to find them at Winners/Marshalls anywhere else in Canada. It took me a while to find the Praline and Pistachio one (Marshalls), but you just have to stalk the stores. This is similar to SDJ 71, but creamier on the drydown. Definitely the same vibe but not identical. It's worth having both imo. For lack of better words, it smells very " fluffy vanilla, cookie, marshmallow", and no lactonic notes. It's rare to find a true true gourmand in perfume form without it smelling like a candle! Absolute love.

Marshalls or TJ Maxx is selling this delicious fall gourmand. You'll get 1-2 hours with a soft warm sugar cookie out of the oven (crystal sugar sprinkles on top) and a bowl of warm nutty caramel for apple dipping later. Approach this as a body mist but with the joy of dodging the plasticky alcohol leach smell from the cheap synthetic body spray bottles. If you need an escape from your gourmands during the day, this will be fun for a bit and drift away. If you find yourself repeatedly saddened by the longevity, Queens Caramel or the maple version of Snif Hot Cakes are a bump up in price but a bump up in experience, too. .

Most compare to Sol de Janeiro 71, but it’s definitely not a dupe to me. It actually reminds me a lot more of the discontinued SDJ 39 because of the apparent praline and coconut. 71 is more smokey, deeper, and less sweet. But Praline & Pistachio doesn’t have the same macadamia note and to me it’s pretty accurately praline, pistachio, coconut. Almost smells nuttier and sweeter than 71. I actually like it more than 71. I/my bf can always smell P&P, whereas we search for 71 scent soon after spraying. 71 also goes quite smokey on me but P&P stays sweet. Definitely recommend for the price, got it for around $16 at TjMaxx!

Bought this at a goodwill, and this is one of my longest lasting perfumes. I applied this at 7 in the morning when to bed at 10, and could still smell it on my wrist. I'm not sure what skin prep people are doing to get such little wear out of it, but all I did was lotion and put almond oil on before applying. It is such a rich, sweet, deliciously addicting nutty scent. It smells almost creamy, but not quite milky, with rich warm notes that make you feel like you're floating in a sea of desserts. The dry down is less nutty, but more decadent and almost velvety. This truly is a treat from start to finish.

Two things I love : cheap and gourmand! This scent is so mouthwatering! Smells like fresh baked pistachio cookies! I see the comparison with SDJ 71 but that one is more white chocolate forward and this one is fluffier because of the marshmallow. Great alternative though and good to layer if you own both! I found mine for $12 at tj maxx and bought two bottles. Projection is really good at first but within 4 hours it becomes a close to skin bubble. I can still smell it on myself but at that point others probably can’t unless they hugged me. Pretty impressive for a $12 perfume!

Mmm it’s like walking into a bakery. The notes are warm chocolate chip cookies with buttered popcorn. It’s so beautiful, yummy & girly. Personally I don’t think it smells like pistachio. I found it at Marshall’s for $18. Very potent when you first spray it — everyone around you will get a sugar rush. It does fade so you need to reapply in a couple of hours, although you could still smell it very faintly melting onto your skin. I suggest this perfume if you have a sweet tooth for cake batter/vanilla frosting. 🧁✨🍿⭐️🍪

I am in love with this fragrance. I found it for $18 at TJ Maxx and bought 2 of them because it smells so delicious. I smell like a yummy baked good when I wear it, I smell like you could just take a bite outta me, fresh out of the oven. Sweet but not cloying, just right. The only thing I'm sad about is the longevity is weak for me, only lasting a couple hours. And the sillage is pretty intimate, but that's okay. I'm having a gourmand phase, so this is just perfect, exactly what I want to smell like.

I love it best part is that I always find it in either Marshalls or T.J. Maxx. It reminds me of one of my favorite discontinued fragrances, Coco Cabana Sol de Janeiro. The only difference is that this one has pistachio and sandalwood, and 62 has Top Notes Coconut Caramel Middle Notes Marshmallow Praline Base Notes Vanilla Honey Coffee But regarless, I will take this one for now til I find a better dupe one that lasts a bit more, as well this one has to be reapplied on my skin every 2 hours or so.

I adore this scent so much! It’s nutty, gorgeous coconut scent, very gourmand and delicious but not saccharine. It’s also a bargain price for the amount but it has to be because this stuff has NO longevity - anytime I wear it I spray it again every 2 hours or less sometimes, so I often pair it with a base of something vanilla or creamy. Update: I layered this with NEST Balinese Cocnut oil and love the combo! Still doesn’t have the full longevity I would want but it is such a scrumptious combo!

I'm loving this. It is indeed very similar to Cheirosa 71, but it costs only $ 17 at TJ Maxx, vs $ 30 for the Sol de Janeiro. The smell is amazing, to my nose it's not sharp, it doesn't smell cheap or artificial. Of course the fragrance profile is juvenile and sweet, on the same vein as almost all recent launches from all brands. But sometimes I crave some sweets, so this is great for that moments. Longevity is not great but I'm waiting for it to macerate. Great value for money.

THIS is the pistachio fragrance I’ve been looking for. Very creamy, buttery, and sweet. Smells very decadent and just like sugar cookies. I'm so tired of other brands adding unnecessary floral/musk notes to "balance it out" when all I want is a true, pure, gourmand scent. This was love at first spray, and a breath of fresh air compared to other pistachio scents. The sillage is decent and it lasts a while. For the price you can’t beat it, this does not disappoint.

This smells pretty similar to SDJ 71 scent but better imo. It starts off very nutty, almost toasted but not too much then develops into this warm creamy caramel cookie scent without being overwhelming. The nutty scent stays but more so in the background to help not make this too sweet, it is sweet dont get me wrong but that nutty-ness helps a lot! I dont get the honey & latte macchiato. It lasts for a good 5-6 hours and does project about arms length.

this is exactly what i expected sdj 71 to smell like, but 71 was a bit too salty for me, and i couldn’t find it in myself to drop $30+ on a body mist. BUT praline and pistachio was only $16.99 at marshall’s and i love it so much! its so caramel heavy and nutty. i didn’t notice the coconut note until i saw it on here — it’s very faint and goes away after the dry down, but its still pleasant. just overall a super warm and sweet fragrance.

This smells really good! One of my new favorites. Layers well with BBW In the Stars, even though on paper they don’t really share notes oddly. This is definitely nutty but they have similar sweetnesses that play well together. Compliment getter. Also has similar qualities to the ME cheapie Ana Abiyedh Rouge, which is a 540 dupe. Again, not identical and this is nuttier BUT on dry down, harmonize nicely. Boosts performance and longevity.
