Wild And Free Amber Sundance

The best way I can describe this perfume is that it smells like Sol de Janiero's Bum Bum cream. I love that cream and when I randomly came across this perfume I tested it and had to go back a couple days later to purchase it. It is a soft sweet scent. Not overpowering, but it still has staying power. It is a great summer scent. It also reminds me of another perfume Juicy Gold (which is my favorite in the Juicy line) not surprisingly that both have sandalwood and amber which compliment each other well.

Amber Sundance is a softly sweet fragrance true to the ingredient pyramid. On me I smell the coconut, heliotrope, and gardenia the most and then amber and vanilla as the day goes by. I think this will be a great summer fragrance because of how softly sweet but persistent it is. I found this fragrance at the Boot Barn, which I don’t usually shop at, but I’m glad I did! I highly recommend this!

I initially really liked this perfume, as I found it in person and bought it immediately. However overtime I feel like it has become incredibly powdery and overall leans very sweet floral. I am ok with powdery, but for some reason this perfume is really overwhelming for me. I'm a bit surprised that people have voted this as a fall/night perfume as I get the complete opposite vibe. But perhaps that's my issue, is that I'm wearing this in the summer when I'm getting very hot and perhaps its making the perfume overwhelming on me. In any case, on initial spray its definitely citrus-y and I can also feel that there is a modest floral scent - not a distinctive floral, just very modest. Overtime I find it does get really sweet. I can smell a lot of the basenotes listed here, but again the powdery smell seems to come out very strong on me. Not a bad perfume at all just doesn't work for me.
