45°

45° is hard to describe or pin down. Whatever I'm smelling, smells nice, but I can't quite tell you what it is. I'm aware it is a honey and vanilla focused fragrance, and yes I get that as well, but I'm having a hard time figuring out the concept. 45° I'm assuming is Celsius. So 113°F. That's hot, but not exceptionally hot. My guess is this fragrance can be interpreted as warm, but not hot. That's exactly what I get when I smell it anyway. You don't have to be in a certain mood to wear this. It is mass appealing for sure. I suppose that's a good thing, but I might be a little bit stuck up. I consider it negative. The name even tells you. Not too much! Passion, but not heated passion. Vanilla, but not too vanilla. For some of you, that might be perfect. And I will admit, it has great balance to the fragrance. And it's very comfortable to wear. You will get many compliments etc. There is a lot to like. I personally purchased a bottle! So that tells you a lot. My only gripe is the lack of personality. The lack of depth. These things matter to me, but I suppose it doesn't have to be in every single fragrance I wear. This is great for the times you have to get up and go, but still want to smell nice. And expensive. Sweet yet elegant. If I had to categorize this, I would put this next to TIHOTA in my collection. This is more animalic from the honey, and a slightly different vanilla. The wearability is very similar however. Interchangeable for the same occasions. I might be saying something out of the blue here, but if any of you have ever been to the Boardwalk at Disney World, this smell reminds me of it. I don't know why. There is a playful element here. Perhaps the sweetness from kettle corn, to saltwater taffy, to other baked goods, and perhaps a small amount from the wood from the boardwalk itself. And everything else they pump into the atmosphere at Disney World. I know they do! It's a nice memory to have and I am grateful for it. I am also grateful to have 45° even if it doesn't sound like it.

I love this. Its a sophisticated vanilla rather than a cloying one. I bought a 15ml of this and wish I'd gotten a larger bottle. Its quite expensive though and I bought a 50ml of Libre Vanille Couture in the same purchase. Wish it had been the other way around. The Libre is dissapointing 😒. Im not the biggest lover of honey, resinous and benzoin notes as they can be quite irritating in the back of my throat for some reason, so I was cautious and bought the small size. This is perfectly done. The perfect balance of honey, benzoin and lots of vanilla that doesn't irritate me and is smooth and harmonious. Its sophisticated not immature. The honey and benzoin give it a bit of depth (almost feels like a plum note, though thats not listed) and it's definately sweet. I haven't worn it out with other people yet so not certain of its sillage but personally I'm loving it. I wore it to bed one night and it was still going as a skin scent 8ish hours later. Will probably put this away until next autumn and winter months (2026) here in the southern hemisphere as spring is just starting and it warms up fast here in Australia. I don't recon I'll be using this much in the heat. Too much vanilla for that. I prefer my vanilla fragrances be worn in the colder times. Looking forward to that time of year ❤️ November 2025 (1 month later): famous last words. I've worn this out and about, to work, at home. Totally addicted and people notice it and compliment it. I've had many ask what it is and almost cry when they google it and see the price tag 😬. I've worn it over the last month here in Australia, and it's fantastic. Cold or hot it adapts to any temperature. Just differing notes get the spotlight. Im talking up to 38 degrees celcius for a few days over the last couple weeks, and it's just going with the flow. Large bottle is on the way. Had no choice really. Devine fragrance.

Hello everyone. Profumum Roma and I are back at it again! I have reviewed this fragrance before, but I am writing again because I have learned so much in the past three years. I am coming at it from a fresh angle and feel like I can contribute much more to the fragrance as a whole. This is another tuberose I have in my collection. This was unintentional, but I have at least nine fragrances where tuberose is the star. Three years ago, that was not the case. I did not like this at first. It was too much. I'm so happy I have it now. It is a testament to how your nose changes over time. Almost like strength training or bodybuilding. The more you work your nose out, the stronger it becomes. The more you can appreciate. But I am here for a specific reason. Everyone is talking about 45° From TRUDON. Aren't they? Unfortunately I fell into the trap and have purchased it. I even had it on this morning. I got bored. What a shame. Guess what I did? I decided to layer 45° with Tuberosa. Holy crap. You guys have to try this! These fragrances have combined to become some sort of sweet and vanillic tuberose composition. Similar to the dry down of Love Tuberose from Amouage. But better. I recommend you put on 45° first, so that the honey aspect settles down a bit. Then apply Tuberosa. It's perfect for right at the start of spring. I wish I had a YouTube channel where I could post this and tell you guys. Unfortunately, because my disability, I am unable to do that. Instead, I try to be the best written reviewer I can possibly be. So I am here to tell you that you have to try this combination. Great for Easter! In fact, I highly recommend for that time. I’ll be upfront: I’ve been obsessed with Cirque du Soleil’s L’eau de Parfum since it dropped, but sometimes all that cotton candy and buttery popcorn is a little much — like wearing a carnival on your wrist. Trudon 45° is what I’d call its quietly elegant older sibling. Same warm, golden, gourmand spirit; none of the sugar rush. Built around a trio of vanillas, animalic Madagascan, boozy CO2, and creamy vanillin, this fragrance delivers depth without ever tipping into dessert territory. The Laotian benzoin adds a dimension of mystery, and the real honey lends timeless warmth that reads more candlelit room than candy store. The vanilla is slightly boozy and the honey is not cloying — a balance that keeps it firmly unisex and wearable by anyone. Where Cirque du Soleil leans into the spectacle, the big top, the popcorn, the spun sugar, Trudon 45° is more like the velvet curtain before the show begins. It’s warm, golden, and weightless , the kind of scent that doesn’t announce itself but makes everyone in the room quietly wonder what that smell is. It settles close to the skin, intimate rather than loud, which I personally find more intriguing than a scent that projects across a room. If you love gourmands but hate smelling edible, this is your fragrance. Trudon 45° is the rare vanilla that feels refined rather than sweet. A masterclass in restraint from a house that clearly knows what it’s doing.

Beautifully warm, sultry honied vanilla that just projects itself the hotter you get. I paired this scent on a night out with my close friend, as we both spritzed ourselves to have a little scent connection to find each other in a shirtless sydney mince crowd. As we danced together, being swayed, pushed, pressed and pleased by the crowd of cruising men the honey and vanilla seemed to just become more candied the hotter the space became. My friend and I joked amongst each other saying we smell so delectable. The night was successful as French and Brazilian trade was enjoyed, with the scent still projecting its sweetness and warmth well after 4+ hours of intensive dancing, kissing and kiki-ing. I truly believe this is a safe blind buy if you want a sensual, non synthetic smelling, decadent, alluring vanilla scent that projects the warmth of honey that feels like a warm drink sliding down your throat, filling your body with soft pulsating heat.

First time around, this reminded me of Montale Intense Cafe without the rose note. Which appealed to me, because the rose in Intense Cafe is what turned me off about that fragrance. Still wasn’t sure I enjoyed what I was smelling, though. On second wear, I couldn’t stop sniffing my arm. It brought Atelier Des Ors Lune Feline to mind this time - minus the overwhelming rotting flower facet I pick up that makes it unwearable for me. On my skin, 45° smells like a warm, cozy, perfectly sweet blend of coffee, marshmallow, honey, amber, and boozy vanilla. Love! There’s no coffee note listed, but to me it’s similar (and preferable!) to YSL Black Opium EDP. Smoother, with a more muted coffee. Black Opium Le Parfum is one of my top favorites, but I can only smell it for about 5 minutes. 45° would be a beautiful stand-in.

I smelled this in Paris last week... And I thought "This is perfection." ... And I am extremely particular about vanilla. A lot of vanilla fragrances don't do it for me. This one however... It struck a chord. It also helps that I have been looking for a honey perfume for a long time (I tried Nectar Cacheté, some Francesca Bianchi and Sexual Healing but they were not it.) The vanilla is slightly boozy to my nose and the honey is not cloying. This fragrance is definitely a people pleaser and I am very happy about that. If I wanted something complex, I would search for something else. I just want a concentrated vanilla, almost macerated, with just a drizzle of honey. This is exactly what I want. Thing is... It's sold out everywhere now. I hope I can get my hands on the 15ml format soon.

This fragrance is an absolute masterpiece. The honey note gave me pause, but I’m so glad I gave it a chance. There is absolutely nothing cheap or synthetic about this scent. It wears beautifully, with impressive longevity and amazing sillage that leaves a lasting impression without being overpowering. Honestly, it’s probably the best vanilla fragrance I’ve smelled all year. The dry down is especially stunning: creamy, comforting, and addictive. This one is going straight to the top of my collection.

I got a 10 ml decant of this one thinking I have so many vanilla fragrances that I likely don't need it. It's the third night in a row I wear it and I can't stop wanting to wear it. That's not something that happens to me often given the size and quality of my collection. This is a seemingly standard vanilla scent, but there is something special about this one. The smell of my clothes after I've worn this and the scent bubble is extra magical and intoxicating. This is a quality fragrance and I will be buying a full bottle as soon as I run out of this decant (which won't be long because I'm almost halfway already). In love and can't wait to add to my collection 10/10 🥰😍❤️

Don’t be scared off by the comments calling Trudon 45 “generic” or "run-of-the-mill." Yes, it plays in the familiar sweet-woody-vanilla profile, but 45 stands out for how elevated it is- particularly on the dry-down. The honey note is powdery and floral, not anamalic or sticky. Lastly, the benzoin gives a sensual amber base. I would further describe Trudon 45 as warm and seductive - something other woody-sweet-vanillas cant quite seem to capture. I don't have any issues with projection spraying on skin and clothes - it gives a gorgeous glowly scent trail that brings attention.

I don’t detect much amber really, it’s there in the background but to me this is vanilla with a lovely blend of honey at the forefront. As with all Trudon perfumes it’s so classy, so refined, I have never been disappointed with a Trudon perfume. This is going to be great in the colder months as it’s cosy and comforting but also it’s a real happy fragrance. I smile when I go to sniff this on skin. Well worth trying. If you are in London the Trudon shop on Monmouth St in Seven Dials has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced- a real treat.

This perfume is good, not great. For me it’s the honey profile - it smells very basic, more on the honeysuckle side and I wish the house used a softer honey. I can see why people love this, as it is blended very well. —- UPDATE: I ended up buying a bottle. Something in this drydown is so DELICIOUS. The absolute and Georgywood is a winner. Went on holiday to a much warmer climate and the perfume actually performed so well in the sun and was very long lasting. 😍

Trvdon 45 is a magnificent, long lasting,full of projection type of fragrance. It’s a honey vanilla , with four different distinct vanilla varieties!! To my nose there is a slight marshmallow to the creaminess of this scent(no marsh involved). I would highly recommend trying this. This is not a blind buy. There is a strong silage as well. I could not stop smelling myself!!!! It’s hard to come by , but well worth the hunt!!

To my nose, this is very honey forward and it teeters on the line of being animalic - super syrupy, resinous, delectable. I can see why people think it is basic though but this scent is just so damn cozy. I'm gonna get a full bottle to replace Naxos which somehow feels way too much to me nowadays.

Very strong vanilla and benzoin on initial spray. The honey peeks out shortly after. It quickly becomes a skin scent and no longer radiates. I do like it as I have been looking for a vanilla fragrance where the honey doesn’t over power. I wish this lasted longer and cost less.

This is absolutely the best honey fragrance I have ever gotten my nose on. It is deep and rich without becoming cloying. A masterfully blended vanilla and honeyed amber. This is a stand alone in a time where many fragrance profiles feel overdone. Unique. Gorgeous.

This is a beautiful perfume and just as advertised. It's mostly honey and vanilla with a little bit of woods in the drydown (but not too much). Great for the cold and very rich smelling. FBW for sure.

Honey, honey, honey. It’s a dense fragrance. Could be cloying if over sprayed. Of course there is vanilla and a touch of woods in the dry down. It’s very likeable and well done. Unisex

To my nose, this smells like a cross between Une Nuit Nomade Jardins de Misfah (about 65%) and Kayali Vanilla 28 (about 55%). I can see what others mean when they say it reminds them of Houbigant's Vanille Imperiale (60%), but it's not like Gentle Fluidity Gold by MFK, which that one resembles. It's somehow familiar smelling, without being able to pinpoint it exactly. It's very pleasant, if a little rough and forceful. It has a prominent honey note, which is deep, boozy and rich. A touch of citrus but considering how many notes listed are vanilla, I have other fragrances far more vanillic than this. I not sure what Georgywood is, maybe that's what I'm picking up on. Interestingly, it's more similar to Jardins de Misfah (no vanilla listed) than it is to a straight up vanilla fragrance. It has something of the cardamom-saffron vibe about it. I got a 15ml and I'm glad I did so - it's too expensive to get a full bottle because it's a like, not a love. I think I will use all of it over time, but not fast because I probably won't reach for it all that often.

The wait is over; I ordered a 15 ml back in November from Luckyscent. It was out of stock, and the package finally arrived today. I’ve been wearing Trudon 45 the last few hours, and I think it’s probably one of the best honey scents I’ve ever worn. But I’ve also finally figured out that I’m not a big fan of honey. So there you have it! My bank account is doing a happy dance. My husband was swooning though, and he has a major sweet tooth so this makes perfect sense. Probably works best in colder weather—like November when I first ordered it.

An incredibly lush honey and vanilla scent, I get the impression of Dama Bianca on steroids. Along the same vein as other rose-vanilla scents like Roses Vanille and Delox, but I’m thankfully not repulsed by 45°! I see the similarities with Jardins de Misfah too. Edit: after wearing it on my arms for about 3 hours, I had to wash it off. It’s way too potent and cloyingly dense.

yum! this actually reminds me a lot of delina, minus the rose. so if you pick up on ( & enjoy) a honeyed aspect in delina but dont like the rose, this one might suit you better. longevity wasn't super great, but its a pleasant, comforting scent. its pretty straightforward - honey and vanilla. if you like that, youre good to go with this one.

I have a really old bottle of Delox which I absolutely love. This smells like it but minus the rose.

45 is a good vanilla option if you like honey and don’t already have something similar. I enjoy honey in lots of fragrances and, for me, the honey is pretty easy going here. The bergamot dissipates quickly off the top while the honey sticks around for a couple hours. Georgywood and benzoin give this scent depth and warmth. The texture of this is on the drier side, slightly fluffy. This is a good scent for fall and transitional weather. Overall, 45 is just ‘okay’ for me: not bad, but not a love. Although I can see why others would like it. I think 45 is above average when it comes to projection and longevity. My husband complimented me on this, and he rarely compliments vanillas. 45 still a strong skin scent at 5-6 hours and it hangs around on clothes all day and overnight.

This isn't bad but it's rather bland and uninteresting smelling. The honey has that stale urine smell on my skin like 99% of honey-centric fragrances do and the vanilla is just run-of-the-mill to my nose, nothing special or awe inspiring. I think it would be better with a touch of cinnamon and myrrh, maybe even a little stephanotis or honeysuckle for a different take on a white floral (tired of the usual jasmine/orange blossom combos dropping left and right). I didn't check the price for a full bottle but whatever it is, this is not worth it in my view.

Whenever vanilla is part of a composition, it almost always ends up dominating everything else, and 45° is no exception. The opening has beautiful honey notes that initially feel very promising, but they fade away rather quickly. I was hoping this would be a fragrance interpretation of the fantastic Cire candle from the same house, but it doesn't quite go in that direction. Instead, it reminds me quite a bit of Lune Feline, just without the smoky character. Overall, it's a high quality vanilla fragrance with great longevity.

I finally got a large decant after hearing a lot of hype around this perfume. There are some vanillas that I love, but I am not a “Vanilla Crazy” perfume person. Trudon 45 simply smells like a candle to me. Does it smell nice? Yes. I would love to walk into a room and smell this honey sweetened perfume. Do I want to smell like this? No. When I compare this to Shalimar, Babycat, or Vanilla Planifolia....This doesn’t hold a candle. :)

This smells like your run of the mill whipped cream vanilla. I don't find anything unique about it - you can buy this exact scent from a million different perfume houses.

This center around honey, which is a note I don’t have very much experience with, and this scent has quickly gained the reputation for being a good intro to that note. Here, it smells somewhat fermented and alcoholic to me, reminding me of mead or even a little of the head on particularly floral beer. I was hoping that aspect would dissipate after it settled into my skin, but unfortunately not. The vanilla is present and layered, but I just couldn’t get past the fermented character. Maybe it’s my skin chemistry, but this one’s not for me.

Horrible scent. I don't even have words to describe it. Luckily enough I bought a Bottle + Sample so the bottle will be sent back to the store. Smells like old lady with extremely synthetic vanilla and honey. Definately don't recommend blindbuying this scent. Not even the drydown after an full hour saved it. If you're looking for something similar just go with Tobacco Honey from Guerlain at least then you get a proper scent, sure it's different from this but the DNA has similarities and the ocassions of use I'd say be the same. Definite scrubber for me.

I wanted to love this for the bottle alone, which is beautiful, but there's a an odd stale/sour note here that detracts from the smoothness of the honey and vanilla. It's also surprisingly short lived and a skin scent, at least on me. Not the safe blind buy I thought it would be.

Yes, 45° is cozy, comforting, and mass-appealing, as the AI Pro's state above. But it smells like sooooo many other modern sweet vanilla scent profiles out there. They just keep coming off the assembly line. I do like how the clean honey note stays relevant through the wear cycle and prevents the vanilla from shining alone. I'm a fan of honey notes, but not generally of modern scent profiles. Every era has its Zeitgeist in terms of common scent profiles, and I'm just more a fan of the vintage scent profiles of yesteryear. I'm an older ScentSnob FragHead with a huge collection, including many vintage fragrances. If you want a great honey scent with that vintage 80's profile, I would recommend my Honey holy grail, Gatsby by Pacoma. Now that's a honey fragrance! Not a modern vanilla monster such as 45°, but it does have a nice Amber accord. Its not a pissy honey like Boss Number One or Givenchy Gentleman EDT (1974). Clean, well-executed honey note. 45° is nice and I wouldn't mind wearing it out on a date, but its not going to wow my experienced, ScentSnob sensibilities. Its for you in the younger, designer-centric, ScentCasual crowd.

Freakishly smooth. Hear me out, it doesnt quite smell synthetic... but the blending here is so seamless- a little too seamless- that it seems almost sterile in that regard. . Not that sterility = a clean girl scent. Its just lacking personality I believe. And because of that it smacks of synthetics. Objectively beautiful, but I couldn't justify a FB. It doesnt speak to me, it doesnt seem to have much to say. Whoever below called it waxy was right. Have you ever put your finger in warm candle wax? The wax softens itself around the shape of your fingers, and slowly cools while it's still silky and velvety. Thats the texture of this perfume. Pleasant, but again, a little too smooth. A lot like Santal de Paris in that regard. Which I also found pleasant but uninspired.

When I first smelt this a few months ago, I was immediately taken back to a scent I used to use back in around maybe 2010. For the life of me I haven’t been able to figure out what that scent was from, and it’s bugged me ever since. Today I tested 45 degrees again, and instantly got the same nostalgia. I’ve done a lot of sniffing and a lot of thinking, and I’ve finally realised this smells exactly like The Body Shop’s long discontinued DUO Vanilla Body Butter from way back then. I think it was the vanilla one they brought out after the (most amazing) Christmas special edition ‘Vanilla Spice,’ as I tried to buy another one of those but ended up with the DUO vanilla. Finally my mind can rest.

Not bad but very generic. That’s really all that came to mind when I wore 45. This scent profile has been done time and time again so this adds nothing new to the mix and the abysmal projection along with the generic smell leave little to be desired for me. Love their candles though! Scent wise it’s heavy on the benzion for me, that and vanilla, the dolls head variety that some other reviewers have already mentioned and a touch of honey but I don’t detect the honey that much honestly. Uninteresting, linear and a skin scent. Lasts long on skin though, just no sillage.

Gorgeous ritch Vanilla perfume. This smells like money, old money and class. Beautiful and sensual, buttery and floral, quite decadent and "waxy" or buttery but in the best, most elevated, way possible. Divine and honey sweet, elegant, like sexy high end bakery in a Luxury 5 star resort suite coffee table. Arranged with bubbles on ice for your arrival and a hand written welcome card. Unfortunately the dry down after 40 min to 1 hour becomes slightly too sweet / sickening sweet.
