Sandalwood

This fragrance is very difficult to describe without wanting to call it perfect, because that's what it is, almost. Its a subtle masterpiece. Perfectly balanced woods and musk with lime or bergamot topnotes. Its unbelievable. Masculine, assured, quietly confident, gentlemanly, its pure class it really is. If you're 25+ go get it. There's no complication in its composition, its wow factor comes rrom it not trying too hard, its so sophisticated like that. Closest I've comre to a signature scent. This is not for boys, late 20's plus, for people who have themselves together. I'll be honest, I'm no reviewer, I couldn't begin to do it justice. All I can say is perfectly balanced in every way from scent to sillage. It lasts about 6 hours before becoming a skin scent which you can still smell the next morning. It should certainly have more reviews

Just bought my first ever UK London perfume and I choose this one over the rest because of the sweet sandalwood fresh scent. The selesperson said lasted around 6hours since its a cologne and i couldn't agree more. For those who's wondering on the smell, please wait for few minute until it changes to Heart/Mid Notes and you'll start to smell the sweet fresh sandalwood! It smells amazing Longevity is around 4-6hours. Silage is alright. This is for indoor type since its not that strong and doesn't really project. But for a person who love woody smells this smells amazing, not too sweet, not too spicy, just more wood.

Better, more airy version of Tam Dao by Diptyque. The sillage is gorgeous

This scent went from a neutral to a very mild like(almost a love ) and admittedly so because people seem to like it on me more than I like it on myself. This scent opens up very bright,watery, green and citrusy (more like a sweet lemon) and it really caught me by surprise as I was expecting this to be a sandalwood dominant barbershop style smell. What this is however is a very pleasant sporty green smell very similar to the sporty scents of the late 90s/early 2000s(think Issey Miyake,Aqua Di Gio) however this is more herbal and green. Once this dries down it does get more woody and mellow as you hit the drydown but it’s pretty linear and I never really get a strong sandalwood which was disappointing. The Pros of this fragrance are that it does smell good and I thought it was mediocre but a few of my friends loved this smell and my one female friend who LOVES fresh fragrances said this was one of her favorites of mine. I’ve also loved Issey Miyake but the scent never really meshed with my skin chemistry so this actually suffices in taking place of that scent profile as this does well off my skin. The CONS are if you’re looking for a great sandalwood scent then this is not it as it’s more airy,watery and green but not woody. Also of note is the drydown falls really flat on my skin but when I layer this wiry Molecule 01 this smells amazing the whole life of the fragrance and lasts longer as well. Performance on this is average as it lasts 3-6 hours but with Molecule 01 it lasts 5-8 hours. Overall rating -7.5 out of 10 ! Really solid scent but to me it smells good but slightly cheap and not reflective of its price point as it’s a bit expensive

This first impression is very sweet and blue. The mix of woody/ctirus is like Blue De Chanel but without the floral/powdery notes. I don't mean this in a bad way, but the blue sweetness reminds me of axe body spray from over a decade ago or maybe axe shower gel. I found the drydown was essentially the same as the first spray. The woody, resinous notes do come out pretty strong. As someone who does enjoy woody scents, I can definitely see myself being interested in this if I didn't already have BDC as well as the AL Haramain clone of BDC and Cool Water which is another similar fresh, blue scent. I'll give this a 7/10. Good enough but nothing great. I do like how clearly all the notes come out, but it's a bit too simple to really capture my attention.

This was a blind buy recommended by a friend, and I wasn’t too impressed. First off the price is ludicrous. Although it’s strong upon first spray, it doesn’t last on my skin more than four hours, and I’m not a fan of the shot gun pump spray atomizer. The scent itself is pretty strong. A good versatile daytime scent with some strong sandalwood and vibrant citrus notes. The biggest issue to me, which might be a plus to others, is how one dimensional is is. If you like sandalwood you'll love this, God help you if you don’t. The biggest offense is the price. In retrospect it floors me that I paid over $100 for this, at max it should be $70.

As a sandalwood fan, I blind bought this after reading lots of positive reviews about it. Upon my first spray I was not impressed at all. The top notes of melon/citrus smell synthetic and cheap. I was relieved I'd only purchased the small bottle, but still quite disappointed that I'd bought it all. I let it sit in my drawer for a while and tried it again today and its now strangely starting to grow on me. The drydown is really interesting and I keep smelling my wrist and get nice hints of creamy sandalwood. I will use it up but won't be buying it again. Trumper and Taylor of old Bond Street tell the sandalwood story better.

A very easy scent to enjoy. A clear mix of woods and citrus that comes together very pleasant. Perfect for when you just want an easy, smell good fragrance that isn't too complex. The only negative is the performance, usually gone within 4-ish hours on me. Which is a bummer, otherwise this would be a have-to in the inventory!

At the top, Rosemary, citrus, smells like a traditional polo cologne. The sandalwood comes in the middle with the citrus as well. It ends with just a mild sandalwood. Quite nice, I like the balance of wood and citrus

Well balanced Sandalwood fragrance with moderate longevity. It plays all zesty top and aromatic middle notes until settles into Sandalwood for which you need to be Sandalwood fan.

I like it, it's subtle but and likeable, maybe something for the office? Reminds me both of Dylan Blue and BDC. Good price for 100ml as well :)

This is perfect for hot weather, and an intimate compliment magnet from your better half. Overpriced for what it is though.

I was given this cologne as a gift, and I really like it, especially after about an hour. Its good for formal occasions

There are two things vying for dominance here: - a blue scent profile - pencil shaving note (the sandalwood) So it's like Dylan Blue with pencil shavings. Look, this isn't high perfumery. The folks at T&H wanted to offer a nice sandalwood fragrance, so they hired a nose who thought to combine those two things for them and they went yeah, this will probably please people. It probably will, and it won't offend anyone at work. I see it as the scent for that new guy at the office: 25 and fresh out of school, he's eager to shows his chops at work and is upgrading his style from t-shirts and Versace to something with "a classier feel" but not out of his reach. He will move on and up in a couple of years. Real notes according to my T&H sample sleeve are: "A blend of lemon, lime and bergamot top notes, firmly anchored by sensual base notes of sandalwood, tonka and amber, combined with delicate accords of rose and lavender heart."

I finally bought this after years of putting it off. This is very much an easy-reach type of fragrance that just smells good and of above average quality--especially at its price point. Clean, soapy sandalwood. It's not groundbreaking; it just executes a nice gentleman's scent very well. It's very smooth! Weather-wise, it's a good year-rounder. If you're going to be outside in the head, though, I think it would be preferable to wear something a little more crisp and citrusy, but you could get away with this. As a pro-tip, pair this with the offerings they have for shaving creams, aftershave balms, etc.... They're very high-quality, and it's a luxury experience to enjoy them all together. I'm a big fan of Truefitt & Hill!

I love this , very common in smell but at the same time executed extremely well , citrus and woods with a slightly creamy base, reminds of creeds himalaya with a dash of chanel edition blanche , good projection and gives a great impact for a couple of hours then mellows out as a soapy skin bubble, there really isn't anything to dislike about this.

I just bought this, had some expectation of a woodsy, but still fresh because truefitt & hill is a barbers brand. I don't quite get this one, it you know it contains woodsy, you can smell it. Otherwise it smells a little sour. I am not that happy with this one, I expected a little more. To me this one smells quite cheap.

Citrusy, a little sweet but not too much. I like it, but I do think it smells like a Lynx bodywash. It's nice if you just want to smell clean and fresh rather than smelling like you're wearing cologne (don't substitute it for bathing, obviously).

One of my favourites and im extremly picky! Too bad it lasts for 2 hours at best because its a very pleasing and classy without smelling like grandpa
