Clary Sage Edizione Millesimata

As one would expect from the name, Clary Sage Edizione Millesimata is a straight forward clary sage fragrance with strong, supporting notes of grapefruit, fir trees, patchouli and more subtle ones like ambrettolide, myrtle and hemlock. You can clearly identify in this juice an intense aromatic nuance paired with citrus, fresh and warm, resinous accents. It’s a linear scent for most of its life, where strong, tangy, zesty, citrus accords blend seamlessly with the aromatic, herbal, piney base. I find that Clary Sage Edizione Millesimata it’s leaning slightly towards masculine side but thanks to the floral’s addition in the heart, could be worn by women who have a more androgynous style. For me it’s not a love, but a like. From this collection I prefer the champaca dominant one, but Clary Sage EM it’s a solid creation that highlights beautifully the note of clary sage. Also, worth noting that the performance is excellent for a fresher, aromatic, citrus forward scent. It’s projecting well for the first hour, and has good lasting power.

Herbal green and sharp-tart from the grapefruit peel essential oils with a woody backbone. At mid dry down it smells like sun warmed, crumpled twigs and leaves of raspberry or blackberry bush (or some other berry bush). But there is some powdery-sweetness that registers like warmth rather than smth sugary. Lovely on a crisp spring, cooler summer or early autumn day. I like it. Although this is not a crowd pleaser. Initial sillage quite big and bright. After an hour settled into average projection. Longevity medium-long for the composition that this is. Unisex.

I'm surprised that cannabis note isn't evenincluded. It smells strongly like a big, fresh, oily hemp, and barely anything else. Surprisingly, it's a pleasant scent, even though I can hardly imagine someone who'd wear it tastefully.

Smells like the devil's lettuce. Extremely realistic. The dry down is a soft soapy kind of smell. *edit: tried it again and this time the sage came more to the front, and I liked it! It leans slightly masculine, but I find that a very good thing. The grapefruit is more prominent as well.
