I Vicoli Via Fiori Chiari

It has become a YES for me! The initial wear on this was strange, confusing, and unpleasant for me...not sure if it was the sebum on my skin, hormones, pH, the time of day...whatever it was, it wasn't working. Trying it again for the second time - and I totally adore this. Can't believe how different, and beautiful, and calming this fragrance is right now. The top gave me a spicy, minty, leather-y waft; outlined in oddly enough: grape skin. Don't know what note is producing it, but I smell it. Then the lemon citrus becomes louder, not annoying but more pronounced and these small, roughly ground up peppercorn pieces are scattered in b/w the fleshy parts of the lemon. Imagine having the peppercorn pieces on your countertop, on a nice cool day, and slicing a juicy lemon in half and then placing it over the peppercorns to decorate the lemon w/ the speckled pieces. You pick the lemon up and sniff it - that's the smell! Now in the meantime, the top has married together and rounded out, creating a wonderful herb-like earthy scent. This, along w/ the lovely lemon and spice, give a gorgeous dry down, making me feel like I have a deliciously, cozy TEA SCENT of all things. Just enough spice, a little herb, some sweetness, and the faintest dash of earthiness. Wouldn't be surprised if petitgrain (or something behaving like it) wasn't one of the unlisted notes in this. So excited for my little collection that I didn't get rid of this!!

Beautiful cosy slightly spicy concoction on boozy sweet and comforting base. I've to say, I'm quite impressed with this whole line from Trussardi and found 4 FB contenders from the line, this among them. The price is more moderate in comparison with other designer exclusives' series such as Guerlain and Armani, but the quality is really good. If one compares them with Tom Ford powerhouses, these ones are not the shouters. But imo Trussardis are more elegant for it. The blending and balance are gorgeous. This is really pretty, and quite unusual as aniseed really comes through and plays beautifully with coriander. It may well be one of the warmest, feminine and elegant coriander scents I've come across. And coriander is one of my favourite notes, that I have quite a bit in my scent wardrobe. Here, piney aspect of elemi supports the spices and slight booziness from the base makes it a very appropriate cold weather scent thats not the loudest signer in the chorus, but the one that knows how to work for a mass-appeal in a reserved way. I would not say that alcohol and liquor come across too much on my skin. Quite the opposite, I'm sensitive for too much booze, and here its just right. The presentation is also top-notch with cool cap and matte and simple flacon. Very positive experience!

The moment I was drawn to the intriguing bottle and sampled this fragrance at my local perfumery, I was instantly captivated. The initial warmth and the aroma of freshly made tea provide an immediate sense of comfort. As the scent evolves, the interplay of patchouli and marigold takes me on a whimsical journey, reminiscent of a wooden fairy embarking on a magical adventure. It's as if the essence of Taylor Swifts the 'Folklore' and 'Evermore' albums has been artfully blended into this sophisticated and magical elixir. Without a doubt, it has earned its place as one of my absolute favorites and a signature perfume that tells a story uniquely its own. The silliage depends on the layering, when done correctly, it has the power to captivate even those working in the glass-windowed booths at airports. I've been approached on several occasions.

Absolutely lovely. This scent is warm, cosy and inviting from the spices and vanilla, yet somehow it remains light/ethereal and never becomes overly dense or cloying. I can see how it is a traditionally cool weather fragrance, but I couldn't resist wearing it on an early summer day and it shines. In my experience, it's one of those "phantom" perfumes that hovers in a gentle fragrant cloud, but when I bring my nose directly to where I sprayed, it vanishes. Edited to add that the performance is excellent. I sprayed this at 6pm and woke up at 7:30am still smelling it. Also got a compliment at 11pm so the projection stays strong for hours

[NOV. 2020] Just tried this, and from the list of notes I was expecting something similar to Guerlain's Spiriteuse Double Vanille but its really more like Tom Ford's Black Orchid or Orchid Soleil! ...VIA FIORI CHIARI TRUSSARDI is more vanilla rum than vanilla whiskey not at all savoury, or salt-added. It is however very vanilla, fruity, and sweet-liquour. Considering I can get a Black Orchid body spray for $68 I will pass this one but goes to show you should always try before you plan to buy! Notes alone won't show (sniff) the full picture!

I enjoy this one a lot! It reminds me somehow of Angel by Thierry Mugler but how I wish it would smell as Angel on that dirty patchouli just radiates! That BO smell I just can’t! My friend mentioned that Fiori Chiari smells like this Chinese herbal tea which I don’t really get...but I probably won’t wear it around her! This is the third perfume I got full bottle of the Milano line, this line is absolutely awesome! Love Emmanuele II and Porta Nuova as well!

Herbal, soothing, expensive tea. The cup is made of fine porcelain, while the liquid inside is amber-colored and at room temperature. Neither warm nor cold. Such a beautiful, calming, zen-like scent. On the days when I don’t know what to wear, I always reach for it. More and more often, I catch myself realizing that I choose it precisely because I want a sense of peace and coziness around me.

This is beautiful! I don't see it as an aromatic scent at all... its somehow fruity on me! I get a ripe mango vibe in there even though it is not listed! I guess its the citrus, cardamom and liquor combo! This is quiet unique to my nose... its fresh and deep at the same time... perfect for the cooler months. love it!

Very warning, cozy perfume, smells like tea. It mentally drives me to a little nice cottage. Such a good perfume for the rainy autumn days. To may make a warm coffee or tea, put a big cardigan and enjoy the scents. ❤️

Let start by saying I love this fragrance! It smells like a pina colada to but there isn’t any pineapple notes listed. The fragrance isn’t strong but you will leave a fragrant trail everywhere you go.

The best scent in that line of Trussardi. When i read the notes i think:"no, nothing special"... But no! This is beauty, extremly wearable... soft and sweet... give it a chance🥰🥰

This perfume really surprised me, I didn’t think I was going to like it at all but I really liked it. I’m usually not a fan of heavy aromatic scents but this is lovely 8.5/10

Smells like black milk tea (not a green tea) you drink in high tea, also has an open field, sunny day vibe. Somewhat pure and femininely seductive.

This perfume started off fruity, and as the day progress, it enveloped my scenses in a warm, sensual smell.

Just a good quality scent that smells like incense and patchouli like walking into a hippie clothing store or headshop. Not my style really, but the bottle and package are nice. It's unisex but possibly leans a bit masculine. I'm not good with words so most of what I can say is that alot of the previous reviews are spot-on for this scent and I do smell most of the notes listed. It did give me rooibos tea vibes when I first tried it but the more time that passed I got other notes. At one point the drydown had that woody cedar or pencil shavings smell too but that's not listed. For the price I paid for it, it smells natural and good quality so I think I got a deal but if I was into these types of incense scents I think it would be worth retail too. I wore it to work sprayed on my clothes for an 8 hour shift sweating in the sun and the scent stayed pretty strong and lasted all my shift. Edit: it's pleasant and relaxing. Dare I say addicting to smell? It's not my style of fragrance so I just wear it when I'm spending time at home but it smells good. I always wanted to try Trussardi fragrances (looking at you, Donna) but keep forgetting to order some and I gotta say this blind buy did not disappoint even if it wasn't my style of fragrance. It's very unisex so I think I'm going to spray this on my boyfriend because it smells good. I finally gave in and bought a Trussardi frag because I love the little greyhound dog bottle caps they come with. They even have a little leather collar on them.

A soft and warming fragrance with a leading marigold note. It is multilayered, i think i can identify a meditative touch of elemi and a note of cardamon, which brings a light breeze into the composition. There is also a light touch of sweetness, but more on the herb-based balsam drink side. The fragrance is rich, but it is not heavy. Its technical parameters are perfect: a well-balanced accord stays for a long. Charming, it somehow reminds me of some old bar with a billiard table. But also it can bring you to the terrace of the old wooden house in late August or the beginning of the autumn, with herbs around. Interesting to explore. UPD. I have found it works very well in spring and autumn, and also during Baltic-Nordic summer. It needs some warmth, but not too much.

Exactly as Fragrantica states it is aromatic, balsamic, warm spicy, fresh spicy, vanilla, alcohol, anise :) in that order. It starts as if herbal, I feel elemi resin and spices like cardamon and anise to a lesser extend. Flowers give it spacious and soft feel. It has an evergreen edge, nearly menthol or eucalyptus. Inside it is warm. The spices are soft. General feel reminds me of strong tea with spices. With time it gets warmer but stays also fresh and I can feel sweet smoke and clean perfect leather accesorries. It starts to smell like the inside of Trussardi boutique. Very elegant, rich and complex. Blind bought for a gift with confidence that the brand created something chic and wearable and it did not disappoint.

This one is interesting. This opens with alcohol/liquor and anise, which comes across as a combo of mint and fennel. It's quite aromatic, and the elemi starts to come out as it develops. As this dries down I get woods, amber, and something sweet--like maple syrup or immortelle. I also get a tinge of something bitter in this...I'm not sure what could be giving that impression...maybe the marigolds? Leans masculine IMO. I see this being compared to Straight to Heaven...I personally don't get a resemblance at all; both are woody and boozy/alcohol centric, but that's about it. This is pleasant and would be a nice one for cooler weather.

Extremely unique, reminds me of a very strong cup of peppermint tea. Herbal, fresh and sweet. Unlike anything I've tried before. Highly recommend trying this beauty.

While I really like this new, luxe line of Trussardi fragrances based on Milan, I Vicoli Via Fiori Chiari is the outlier in my experience. For what it's worth, the opening is quite beautiful, strongly reminiscent of Black Orchid but slightly spicier. However, once those top spices evaporate, the wearer is left with a kind of Diet Black Orchid, the patchouli overpowering the other notes into a somewhat screechy bubblegum scent with whiffs of rum. It's not a terrible fragrance by any means, but I just couldn't shake that Tom Ford comparison as Black Orchid is one of those ubiquitous, instantly recognizable superstar fragrances. Incredible performance aside, Fiori Chiari has a bit of an identity crisis, and for my money I would rather just go for Black Orchid, aka the real deal.

Weird, I have to say. I was excited for milk tea scents, but unfortunately I don’t personally get that. I get possibly a boozy, praline like vanilla, and on first spritz I got a jammy thing going on. It’s a weird experience, I’m still trying to figure out if I hate it or not. It’s got that certain sweetness to it, reminds me of a candy that gets stuck to my teeth. I hate to say cloying, but it’s definitely getting there. Perhaps marzipan? It’s not a bad scent, although in my opinion it’s not favorable, but someone would definitely find this more appealing than what I’m making it out to be. Packaging is very top notch though, similar to Parfums de Marly. I love the leather collar detail on the dog shaped cap. Looks very pretty in a collection.

It's OK, It smells okay, but it reminds me of middle-eastern spice stores or something! And it's NOT seductive at all. I'd say the scent is too strong and kinda headache predisposing. I would like to spray it in the air or use it as an oud but not as perfume.

For all lovers of cool weather, Italian leather, red wine and dark chocolate: It feels as if it’s trying to appeal with its unusual vibe to consumers who appreciate Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir and TF Black Orchid, but want to buy something new of the same color for their wardrobe. And Trussardi tried to offer it to them: some middle ground - not too demanding, of good quality ingredients, nicely blended, but ... what it achieved however is to feel rather strange, in a challenging for me way, maybe because I’m not so much into wine notes in perfume atm ... be it the sweet black currant dessert wine I can smell here ... who knows. For the price, to me, Imitation for her by Amouage does a better job at rocking its fruity weirdness and you get intrigued by the art in it - it’s unusual in a much more curious way, it is also juicier. And I Vicoli Via Fiori Chiari by Trussardi didn’t manage to leave the weird territory or transform it’s simplicity into some intriguing development. But in its defense, I must say that in comparison to all the mentioned perfumes, it’s better for daily wear, even more so than Pomegranate Noir, which sometimes tends to pull a bit more camphorous elements. Especially if Armani Sì is something you like, but you needed more depth and body and darkness, more roundness and some rich and smooth patchouli feel (patchouli a la Coromandel for example) you may find yourself in a good company with Via Fiori. I love the bottle and I know it would look great next to its siblings from the line, but if I’m to consider buying it for the scent BLACK ORCHID + POMEGRANATE NOIR would work just the same.

Beautiful gourmand fragrance. Prominent cardamom, vanilla, booze (reminds of cognac or brandy). A touch of pepper. Could not pick out the citrus or much of anise. So it remains mostly sweet-spicy. Too bad a blast of patchouli overpowers it. From the mid dry-down it takes over and becomes a little too much. It is not dirty patch, rather more of dry earthy-chocolatey kind. If the patch was toned down, this would be one of the best classy gourmands I’ve smelled in a long time.

First, it's one of those teas you'd usually drink in winter: chamomile and marigold taking out the stress; cardamom and a bit of chocolate awakening the senses. One of those tea boxes with dense colors, mandalas and new age names. Later it goes full patchouli with resins and vanilla, a true artisan chocolate bar, nice and forgettable. But until then, it's the gold-laced tranquility of those little bright flowers, dried in a velvet-lined box.

I don't know why and how this is possible, but I Vicoli Via Fiori Chiari gives me a perfect pineapple! More than any scents with this note declared in a pyramid ever did. I find this scent so heartwarming, like juice mixed with liqueur, honey, and mulled wine spices, and heated on a stove. Beautiful!

the marigold's herbal and green, earthy scent (somewhat pineapple-like) with the liquor's sour and alcoholic smell together reminds me of Kaoliang (Chinese traditional liquor) somehow. Sometimes nauseous.

This fragrance smells like marigolds and rooibos chai with milk added. It is warm, sweet, and comforting; it is very different. Intoxicating. I love it!

Smells very herbal on me. Exactly like rooibos tea. It leans more masculine than feminine. The drydown is peppery and boozy. For that price, I'd pass.
