My Scent

My first review was based on a test with tester bottle in perfume shop but this review is based on full wear from my own bottle .I can't believe that I named my scent, rosey sister of my name.their totally different and just have a powdery lilac in common Trussardi My name is potent from the first sniff so I was dissapointed to see my scent is so light that I can barely smell anything when first-sprayed I can smell faint non descript florals and watery fruity notes.it's opening is so watery that I can't pick up any specific note.soon after couple of minutes a very pretty musky floral starts wafting.I could hardly believe it's the same perfume that was so dissapointing in first five minutes.flowery notes are very natural and fresh.lilac is the main star here,but rose,heliotrope and other flowers stand behind lilac and bloom their pretty,gorgeous aura to enhance powdery quality of lilac.florals are grounded by musk and cashmeran which are soft,clean and delicately sweet.not too much rosey,not too much musky and not too much sweet.there's a hint of fruitiness (pear) that prevents it from being a dry powdery scent and flower's natural freshness(I can't call it green) keeps everything airy.if you don't like musky powdery florals for being cloying,too dry,oldish or musty you have to give this one a try.it's powdery but also light,youthful,fresh and sparkly Trussardi My Scent is very feminine,delicate and soft.it's powdery but in a fresh,gentle way.it's very pretty,clean and inoffensive and smells like spring.it's very beautiful and romantic.can make a great daily perfume .suitable for a wide age range even for a young lady.longevity is about six hours on me and sillage is soft to moderate.. It's very springy but is also wearable year round I like Trussardi My name a lot but my scent is so soft and refreshing that I'm very happy to own it.truely lovely.it's not as heavy or warm as my name,much more easier to like and easier to wera.it's what I wished Lanvin eclat d'arpege was And the bottle is heavy and beautiful.I love it's cap ❤❤❤❤

What a great surprise. I haven't thought this would be a special perfume. I found it with a good price and ordered it. Today I received this perfume. The box is very nice. When you put it in front of light, it is like a rainbow and the spectrum of colours is really nice. The shape of the bottle is cute as well. About the scent, it is great and full of comfort. With the first spray I felt I am surrounded by a cloud of flowers. It is powdery in a good way. It is similar to the former version (Trussardi my name) and compared to "Trussardi my name", this is way more better in my opinion. It is less sharp, more natural and reminds me of my mom's cream and lipsticks mixed with flowers. I am so sensitive to lots of perfumes, but this perfume is pure tranquil. یک عطر پودری گلی بسیار آرامش‌بخش که حالت کرمی و رژلبی هم داره. این ورژن از ورژن قبلی که اسمش مای نِیْم بود، خیلی بهتره و البته هر دو ورژن خیلی به هم شباهت دارن. میشه گفت حدود شصت درصد شباهت دارن، اما این ورژن شاداب‌تر، مخملین‌تر و قشنگ‌تره. جعبه عطر هم بسیار زیباست و وقتی در نور حرکتش میدیم، شکل رنگین کمان به خودش میگیره و شیشه عطر هم بسیار زیباست. به نظرم بیشتر بعنوان یک عطر روزانه قابل استفاده هست، چه برای سر کار، چه برای قرارهای عاشقانه و یا خواب سر ظهر یا بعد از ظهر در آغوش کسی که دوستش داریم. رایحه این عطر یک کلمه رو واسم تداعی میکنه : آرامش 🩵🩵🩵

After trying Donna, I was less than impressed and immediately lowered my expectations for My Scent. I gave three generous pumps to test and was blown away. My Scent is as pretty as the bottle it comes in. The lilac is strong (note: REALLY STRONG) and stays present on throughout the dry down. The musk is clean and clingy meaning it will cling to your silk blouse and leave a mesmerizing scent trail. It will also penetrate your sweater fibers and smell so amazing that it'll likely be present after a wash cycle. There is a powdery note that comes out to play but it's soft and balances the strength of the floral notes. I love a lingering perfume that gifts me with wafts of its precious scent through out the day and My Scent does this for me. For an EDT this performs well and will last hours. If you don't re-apply, you'll have that lovely floral musk combination reminding you that it's there.

I believe the order on top of the page should be Floral,powdery,rose,musky,green I find my scent very powdery,not velvet iris powderyness,it's a gorgeous lilac,heliotrope,rose powderyness which is soft,clean,modern,bright,young and delicious Very difficult to explain..it's a kind of powderyness that trussardi my name and bvlgari omnia amethyst have(also chloe love,but in chloe love it's too much of it,so it turns to be sharper and more classic) Trussardi my scent is all about this soft delicious powder,powdery rose,cashmeran and a hint of soft,clean musk..so I find my scent sweet soft,clean rosey powder..very lovely and feminine..wearable all around the year,good longevity and moderate sillage If you liked trussardi my name and you are a rose lover,this is the rosey version of my name

Very deep, mild, flowery scent. Just divine at the top notes while clean rosebuds fragrance lasts. And I could swear peony is noticeable. Then it turns into opulent flowery scent. I did't recognised lilac to be honest - the scent (My Scent) feels like jasmine and woody (chasmeran)-amber. Here it is - very Alien-like. Not unique but absolutely gorgeous. At least on paper-blot. So I need to do some more tests. EDIT: after feeling it regularly on my mother, I must admit it is just as nice as the first impressions, the flowery freshness is just shorter and the mellow base is dominating. Overall a very nice fragrance.

This is an intoxicating lilac-dominated floral. At first, the opening struck me as cheap for some reason. However, that is no longer my perception. On the contrary, when I began wearing it, it went for me from an okay to a love after I noticed how it transforms into a powdery scent at the three to four hour mark and how it stays present for me for its entire duration. It’s not one of those perfumes where the wearer goes nose-blind to it after a while. I derive the most satisfaction from this hobby when an overlooked, discounted and underrated perfume like this turns out to be a great find.

It's a great all-year fragrance, but for me it just screams spring. Lilac is very dominant in this one, accompanied by rose and heliotrope. Floral and powdery, stays fresh and young, just like spring, when everything comes to life. I really think this one might become my signature, my scent. It's so effortless yet elegant, subtle and feminine, stays on the whole day. It goes well with any outfit, it just suits everything. I've never paid much attention to Trussardi, but the more I keep testing, the more I love their style. It's a popular brand with a bit of niche twist to it.

An under-rated gem, With a heavenly combination of Lilac, Cashmeran, Musks. It's very sweet, Clean and powdery. Hyper feminine type of fragrance. It seems like there's Vanilla in here, But I guess it's the Heliotrope adding that creamy sweetness. Excellent longevity, Good projection too. Over 450 scents in my collection, And this stands out as unique, Can't find any comparisons. Love it!

If you don't like powdery scents, you'll hate this. I, however, love powdery and musky perfumes, and this is everything I want from a good shower scent. It smells like Dove deodorant and baby wipes, but in the best possible way. It's clean, soft, subtly floral, and comforting. The longevity is lacking a bit, but I love the way it smells so I don't mind.

Love at first sniff! This one is a lovely fragrance is delicate and long lasting on my skin, floral and powdery at the same time, sweet in the right way, I don't find any fruity notes in it only powdery roses and musky! Love love love

It is similar and powdery like My Name but in this juice the flowers come through giving it more dimension. The performance is moderate, but all in all I really like this perfume, I find myself reaching for it more and more.

floral creamy clean and powdery... very well structured and balanced... reminds me of the NR cubes and the new NR For Her Pure Musk (white bottle)... safe blind buy if you love florals and powders

If it has lilac, rose, and Cashmeran, I am a superfan. This is a wonderful perfume. I think it stands on its own beside Coco Mad. Just lovely. The lilac is soft; the creaminess of this is divine.

Really feminine, airy and pleasant. It's good for spring and Summer seasons.

Bought it on a trip to Italy about 5 years ago so I'm emotionally attached to this one even though it's a weirdo! It's a larger-than-life, huuuuge bouquet of white lilac (white lilac is sweeter) in the hot hot sun. It's like the first really warm day of the year when you don't expect it - blam, in your face, buzzing with bees and dripping with flower nectar. It's very much alive. It has a similar vibe to Pleasures Intense by Estée Lauder, but this is Pleasures' brasher cousin. But all of those big big flowers are covered in pepper that tickles my nose almost to the point of making me sneeze, and that from the opening note almost to the very end. This peppery, spicy overtone in combination with the sugary drydown makes it weirdly perfect for winter as well (like another EL - Beyond Paradise, also a big sweet peppery bouquet that is differently great both in summer and winter), it shines and glitters like the snow. On me and to my nose it's loud, bright, happy, with a big sillage and great longevity. Sometimes it can get tiring though so not an everyday scent - unless you're invariably euphoric every day 😁

A very clean perfume, Donna feeling, a perfume that can from time to time to give a break to my usual fragrances. The lilac is very nicely built, it doesn't disturb you how it happens with many perfumes with this note. It's a clean, light feminist perfume, is very suitable as a signature for a young aspiring professional woman, but of course not only. I personally wear it most often when I run out of Donna, it doesn't happen very often but I forget sometimes to reorder it on time. So in generally I used it for business travel, walking, shopping, etc not so much at the office because like Donna is to a donna vibe for a career woman, at the office I have to bite them not to be elegant and aristocratic. My children usually call these two perfumes holiday scent. Because I wear it a lot when I'm around them and especially on holidays.

This one smells nothing like either CK's Sheer Beauty Essence, or Intimately Beckham... The first is a transparent watery dewy sweet fruity lilac, and the other is a tuberose blended white floral... Not sure where these comparisons came from? Having said that, My Scent is a dense, heavier lilac, with the vague 'floral' notes playing a big part in the composition, and stealing the show from the lilac and heliotrope. It's a cooler weather scent (cooler spring and early autumn - on a moderate or hot day it will choke you out). Many reviews mention this being light and mild - and it does have a creamy quality - but it is dense and heavy for a lilac scent. A like, but not a love, and fills the 'transitional weather' spot in my wardrobe.

If I could use only one word to describe this perfume it would be romantic. It's feminine in a stereotypical way: it makes me think of roses, tulle gowns, the color pink. Nonetheless I like it, even if it's one dimentional. The opening smell is that of a powdery rose. I don't really get much more after that, but I am not an expert. What I like the most about My Scent is the soapy, clean fragrance it leaves on your skin and clothes after a few hours. I find that it lingers on certain fabrics (like wool) even after you wash your garments. The bottle represents its content well, at least the 30mL one. The bigger one has a strange looking cap that is puzzling: it looks spongy and kinda cheap.

Soapy lilac, very feminine (even womanly but not mature) and airy, butttt somehow this is way too powerful for me to use it in the summer. Great powdery floral for the winter IMO, solely for cold days. I’m a freak that sometimes enjoys floral and “cold” fragrances on cold days, not always I’m in the mood for smth cozy and sweet. Give this clean vibe scent, because of that soapy dna

At the begging I didn't like it at all. It was strongly floral and that's it. After some hours it changed into mild rose and lilac mix. I sense it as powdery rose scent. In some way it's very interesting and nice. It makes me think of quality rose oils and old-fashioned scents. So, I can't stand the top notes, but I will think of this perfume as a great and interesting creation.

Likeable little gem in a pretty bottle. Clean and floral with unusual heliotrope lilac duet. Soapy but subtly so. It will make you smell like powdery soapy lilac until its bright heart that shines like Noa Perle or the solar notes of Jadore edt. Base notes are sweet.

It is like a fountain of sparkle. It grabs you with freshness, sweetness and a promise for a warm and sophisticated dry down. Not my type of perfume but pleasantly surprised of how it transforms beautifully on my skin. I can still smell it after 8 hours.

An almondy-heliotrope sweet powdery base with bright wildflower/lilac facets at the top. Delicate; it's such a gentle, unassuming fragrance. It smells like a kind elementary school teacher to me. Really nice.

A sweet sister to Trussardi My Name :) At first it was niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice and I kept sniffing and sniffing but then, after several hours, it got nauseating on me, so I'm sticking to the big sister.

To me this smells like a fancier escada absolutely me. It has a gorgeous bottle and last longer. It does not transform whatsoever and the dry down is solid. I don't think it's special - just ok.

first chewing gum, later powdered, very feminine scent with good lasting power. For me ideal for work but not one date scent (not sexy, too nice & charming) :)

Stunning powdery lilac. Loop and resistant. Girlish and tender, a little sweet because of the heliotrope in the base :)

Nice musky woody scent with floral background. I like it, but it's not stunning. I can recommend it for cold season.

First, I got a lot of fresh watery lilacs. Then after maybe 20 minutes, the "floral notes", but no rose. 😔 And now, more than an hour and a half later, I'm getting a lot of powdery, musky lilac. Unfortunately, I'm getting nauseas and a slight migraine. I really wanted to love this. I will try it again, though. 🙂

I liked My Name a lot from spraying it in the store, that I was hoping to say the same of My Scent, having no idea what notes it is composed of. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a dislike for me, but only because I'm not much into florals. Since I am mostly unfamiliar with florals, I couldn't distinguish the notes, but in fairness to this composition, it smells like fresh and natural flowers to my nose, lush and fragrant. If you are into florals, it would be worth a try. But, alas, it is not My Scent.

I was absolutely sure I will like this scent from the description and feedback from other followers. But unfortunately I cannot wear it. I would advise to try it before buy. It’s kind of vantage sweet cherry powder scent. I expected a lot of fresh lilac something similar to lanvin Eclat d’Arpege but there is nothing fresh about it. It’s quite heavy for my liking. BTW my husband likes it. As for me it makes me feel ill. But for those who like it the good news is that this scent is quite long lasting.

Everyone talks about lilac, and I can’t seam to find it, I get a Bomb of fruits and some cheap imitation of flowers, this perfume makes me think of a blonde chewing gum. It smells very immature. I don’t know how else to describe this scent. Definitely not my style.

Very heavy floral. I can’t wear it. It’s nauseating to me. I thought it would be uplifting but it’s not. It’s very cloying. I feel like it’s a very mature fragrance.

Musky lilac. There is something catchy in this fragrance.

I blind bought this with a bit of intrepidation because of the musk note. I've had Trussardi My Name, which was beautiful until the powdery musk kicked in and became suffocating, so I was concerned that may be an issue with this one, too. But it was cheap, so I threw caution to the wind. I don't like it. It's misbehaving on my skin in the same way a lot of gardenia frags do - total bug spray. Not saying that to be offensive, it actually smells like a personal insect repellent on me. The powdery musk I was concerned about has barely even made an appearance. I'm so disappointed.

In a stroke of madness/brilliance I layered a few sprays of My Scent over the Iced Lemon Poundcake body cream from Bath and Body Works, and it smelled amazing together. Very “high end gourmand.”Something about the slight brightness in this powdery, floral perfume worked amazingly with the lemon in the body cream. Like a jam donut but not in a suffocating, cloying way ie. Raspberry Jam Donut from BBW. More like a powder dusted lemon cream pastry puff from a high end patisserie.

This is one of these rare perfumes where I was able to guess more than 70% ingredients at the first sniff. Yes, certainly, it develops with time, but lilac notes are quite overpowering during the whole longevity of wear - and to tell the truth, I don't mind it. The rose note is quite prominent as well, heliotrope is clearly present too. Gorgeous scent for springtime, and quite long wearing in comparison with many other floral scents with the lilac note I know.

im falling in love with Trussardi. one by one fragrances for womens of Trussardi are long lasting, different and not irritating others people. what can i say about this perfume "my scent"? really wow! soft, fresh (i mean like you are clean women, without sweat) scent, really can name it "my scent". it can be your signature. i love it. and price is very accessible

As powdery as My Name, but with a lilac focus that turns away from the rosey soapy muskiness of the former. It's, as others have said, a very nice, charming fragrance. Very suitable for work, especially if one wants to smell comforting. I bought numerous bottles of My Name as well as My Scent for when I want to smell like a loving, caring mom.

I remember I've put this scent on my wrist in one of the luxurious shops in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Rome. I've got some flowers,but it faded away so quickly,when I was out already,could barely smell anything :) I prefere My Name instead of this. just another nice flower scent.

I love Trussardi My Name and the Trussardi rose fragrances, but My Scent was not of the same quality. My Scent opened on my skin smelling like a Bounce dryer sheet, not pleasant. It dried down to a musky nondescript floral. I'll pass on this one.

A blush suede, pear and lilac scent with. I adore this... it smells of incredible class and soft. Clean, musky elegance. Reminds me a little of Peony & Blush Suede

Starts like a fresh soap, later turns into a sweet, clean, slightly sharp musky floral. It is not bad, but it is not my scent.

A nondescript sweet and mild well-blended floral with just an extra bit of lilac and musk. Meh.
