Riflesso

Restricting the rich hue of gold-amber cognac, Trussardi Riflesso comes encased in a beautifully ribbed glass bottle. It's a slept-on fragrance that can be described as an undiscovered gem, deserving of much more attention than it currently receives. With its captivating scent and incredible value for money, Riflesso has the potential to become an exceptional everyday signature fragrance. This perfume opens with a well-balanced fruity accord featuring invigorating notes of grapefruit and green apple. As it develops, the fragrance blossoms with floral hints of geranium and lavender, culminating in its noteworthy tonka bean and leather dry-down. While some may draw comparisons to certain YSL fragrances like La Nuit de L'Homme and L'Homme, Riflesso possesses a unique and distinguished character. Riflesso strikes a balance between modern elegance and seductive charm, making it universally appealing. Its versatility allows it to seamlessly transition from professional to casual settings. While its performance is moderate, a few extra sprays after a few hours won't hurt, considering the affordability of this fragrance. Opting for the larger bottle is a sensible choice, and carrying a decant for on-the-go use is a practical idea. Given its affordability and exceptional quality, stocking up on this fragrance in its smallest size wouldn't be a bad move either.

So, I'm here again! Firstly, I really love the scent. A combination between La Nuit de L'Homme and YSL L'Homme. It's just gorgeous. It has apple and tonka bean, with added leather (a note that both YSL fragrances don't have). However, I'm very disappointed by the performance. It doesn't last long nor projects well. It is gone by 6 to 8 hours on clothes (while many fragrances I've tried before doesn't seem to fade away until at least 12 to 16 hours). The projection is moderate for the first hour. I think it'll not be redundant if you guys get this when you have both of those YSL fragrances. But if you want to get it, just try this one first (as a sample) before buying a full bottle. See if it works well on your skin/clothes. It is great, but I really have to learn to love it. Trussardi Riflesso is an aromatic, woody and fruity fragrance. I had read about the resemblance to La Nuit de L'Homme by YSL, and now that I have tried it I can say that especially in its opening it bears similarities to both La Nuit de L'Homme and L'Homme by YSL, due to the floral aroma with ozonic sensation and tonka bean that also have the aforementioned fragrances. However, with the passage of time it develops its own characteristics, it becomes more fruity with a lot of apple presence and adds geranium and leather, which give it a creamy sensation.. The aroma seemed ideal to use in spring, but even more so in fall because of the warm notes it contains. Still, I think it could be used almost at any time of the year and in any situation. For those who want compliments with this they will get them. It lasted about 6 hrs. in my skin and a little more in clothes. This fragrance Is in the same style of fragrances as Boss Bottled and Allure Homme, because has fruity notes with a base of Woods and spicies. It is not a substitute or a clone for the YSL fragrances mentioned, but it does bear similarities.

What a charming fragrance; relatively simple, cheerful, bright and soft. The fruit is well balanced - not too sweet, not too sharp. I find it uplifting and comforting and although my teenage daughter described it as "beautifully generic", to me it is distinctive enough to be more than a little above my usual dumb reach stuff. (Given that generally I only go for cheapies under £30) It's a very versatile scent I would think - seasonally and socially. Could be a date night frag, if you were dating the boy or girl next door (ie. It's not a grand romance, sweep 'em off their feet style of thing, but it's cuddly for sure!) Office safe, unless you work in the ante room of Hades, in which case you'd be wearing Lynx. I just don't get why some people don't like the bottle; to me it's a pretty cool 50's style thing - looks like the fender on a classic sports car... So, this started off as a strong like for me and is creeping up to "love" status - like a relationship that begins with friendship and because of the warm, positive glow, builds into something lasting.

One of the best releases of the Italian "designer" perfumery in several years. Yes, maybe inspired by two well-known YSL fragrances, but maybe it improves both. As clear as it sounds... This one has its own vibe and "that" Italian style, sure. Also, It's masterly blended and the performance is good. Sophisticated, seductive, elegant... Trussardi Riflesso is a winning hand. ... For a modern gentleman. ------- - Longevity: +6h to 8h. - Projection: Moderate first 2h (1.5m), closer but persistent the rest (0.5m). - Mood: Classy, seductive, elegant, confident. - Ocassions: It's a great signature scent perfect for modern and charming gentlemen. Suitable for almost all situations: Office, dates, cocktails, afternoon & night outings, hangouts with friends, formal events... - Seasons: Suitable all year round, except the hottest & coldest days. This is pure Italian seduction. No more no less.

What a gem, especially at this price point (for me €32/100ml). I don’t really get the comparisons with YSL l’Homme and La Nuit de l’Homme. I do get a hint of l’Homme smell wise but that’s it. It actually reminds me of Chanel Allure Homme, the original. I don’t own it currently but I would love to compare those two as I seem to get the same vibe, with the same warm, creamy, slightly sweet and fruity smell. This smells super crowd-pleasing and it lasts quite long as well. I personally think the bottle looks prettty cool too and it feels great in the hand. [Edit 22/10] I finally got Allure Homme again (a pre-reformulation bottle, YAY!) and they definitely do not smell similar and it’s neither as amazing smelling nor as high-quality, but i can confirm that they give off the same vibe I described. Awesome.

Riflesso, has been my beloved workhorse since its release in 2017. I am running through my second big bottle now, and I hope I will always have it on my shelves. Honestly, nothing groundbreaking here, its just casual chic in "Italian style." A mix of apple pie, lavender, leather and tonka bean. I feel like its a more masculine take on YSL L'Homme line, definitely. Opening can be a bit chemical, but it rounds up nicely after 10 minutes. Thank God, tonka is not the sugary sweet note here, but more of a drier one. Possibly, Riflesso is not a crowd pleaser and feels old fashioned, but people love this scent profile in my experiences - if it matters. Longevity is around 4 hours, it sits close to the skin. So you need to overspray. Yeah, I am a bit indulgent with this one, but I cant help - love this scent.

Just Gorgeous! I get the La Nuit de L'Homme and YSL L'Homme reference that some reviewers before me have mentioned, but I also get hints, at least towards the mid, perhaps even the dry down, of Trussardi's own powerhouse creation of past (1983), Trussardi Uomo. That said, this is an absolute marvellous creation that manages to stand on its own merit. I've been testing it for the past couple of days and I can confirm that it works well in extreme heat/humid conditions but it shines in climate controlled environments. I therefore think, this is going to be quite a versatile fragrance. Make no mistake, this is a man's fragrance that exudes class and sophistication. The longevity and silage are remarkable and for the price, its a steal. Love it to bits ... 8.5/10 in my book

This smells very similar to YSL La Nuit de l'Homme to me. So if you like that then you will more than likely like/love this. That being said, I only like the Frozen and Le Parfum version of La Nuit. This may have similar aspects to Frozen, but Frozen is more smooth. You can also layer Riflesso if it's too rough or dry. This has only been on my skin for 3 hours and hasn't even died down yet which is crazy. To me this smells too dry for my liking. Really wanting to try My Land now since this was so accurate to La Nuit de l'Homme. I wont be wearing this scent anymore, but I would say this is a very good blind buy for someone who likes La Nuit de l'Homme. Don't see how you can go wrong for the price. Get a decant to test it if you're unsure.

This scent is very unusual and for certain tastes outstanding. If you like masculine scents that are sweet this will certainly be of interest because it has a warm, creamy sweetness which comes from the tonka bean interacting with the violet leaves and geranium, unlike many modern sweet fragrances for men which rely on fruit or caramel/vanilla/cocoa/dried fruits etc to achieve this. Anyone who likes Givenchy Pi, Body Kouros, Angel for Men, Cavalli Uomo, Gaultier2 or even Ultra Male by JPG will appreciate this and may love it if they don't find the floweriness too feminine. In summary, an unusual sophisticated tonka bean/flowery fragrance which is sweet, cosy, creamy, flowery, very Italian, attractive and long lasting. Delightful!

Amazing juice. If you are looking for a fragrance that is closer to YSL La Nuit de l'Homme pre-2014 formulation than the current formulation, you should really try this one. Looking at the price, it is hard to dislike if you like spicy/seductive fragrances. It does not have the magic of the original LNDL, but this is the closest you can get with all fragrances currently available (trust me, I have been looking for years and I still have 90ml of a 2013 batch to compare them with). The performance is better than shown in the ratings. Especially if you spray it on clothes, it will last the whole day. Somehow spicy fragrances last for ages on clothes. The projection is moderate, but has a good sillage. This is a solid 8.5/10 for me.

8.5/10 Scent = 3/3 Performance = 1.5/3 Wearability = 3/3 Value = 1/1 Blind buy for me. This is sweet, cozy fragrance, specially great for date night. At first I thought it could be alternative to D&G The One EDP but they both go different ways. Riflesso to me is more flowery D&G The One EDP. They both are addictive. The performance is good. The sillage seems alright in summer. Longevity is okay too. I like the retro/ functional style of this bottle - it's heavy, it's sturdy, not a fingerprint magnet and feels quality, specially for the price. To me this is very versatile - all season, day/nigh fragrance. Will see how it performs in colder months. Only con - a bit tacky on my skin.

Riflesso does have a subtle reminiscence of LNDL. However, they are in no way similar. The opening of Riflesso is absolutely amazing. Intense, bright, fruity, lavender layered green apple, very sensual. The scent demands attention. The dry down is quite intense and heavy, not very smooth for my nose. I got "tired" after smelling it for too long. When using this scent I spray it on my side boobs and side bellies; anywhere away from the nose. The only way I've found to make the leather note becomes airy and tolerable. This is not a safe blind buy. This is not similar to LNDL. Don't get it if you don't like fruity lavender and heavy leather scent. Still a very well-made scent.

I get the LNDL direction but I think this is more of frag on the same line than an alternative to it. I honestly like it a lot to the point that in wondering to have backup bottles. To my nose the leather note is faint but well blended with the aromatics and the sweetness. This is a very classy scent to use during all year round but summer, especially if you live in a hot and swamp humid area like me. This is versatile enough to fit most of the occasions, well maybe it's not the best choice for very informal, outdoor scenarios or this is not what I would go for. At the end I like it a lot and I consider it a very solid choice!

I wear this all year around and in my opinion it goes well on many different occasions, but I wouldn't wear it for the gym or exercise as it would feel too cloying. The scent morphs a lot on skin over time. Opening has sharp apple, which gets accompanied by spiciness and depth in 30 minutes. I think of apple pie sometimes. When the pie gets out of oven the scent goes very smooth and masculine. Overall, an interesting and nuanced scent for an adult man. A modern and old school feel at the same time. A matching outfit would probably consist of a white t-shirt, jeans, leather jacket and some leather shoes.

Great fragrance for a great price. Exists in the LNDL airspace, but not redundant. It has some characteristics that stand out...notably the lavender and the toned-down sweetness. Both are good traits. Performance seems to be something many here find wanting. I *somewhat* disagree, as I find that (at least as it compares to the most obvious, LNDL) this out performs the La Nuit fragrances by a bit on my skin. I don't need to overspray this to get decent (average) performance. But I do with the YSL's. I am glad that I picked this one up, it fits in nicely to that scent category for me.

finally a great modern release from trussardi. the last masterpiece was trussardi inside, a fantastic juice. after that only cheap products( a way for him, my land...meh..). riflesso is definitely close to ysl la nuit de l'homme, especially in the first 30 min. to my nose is a bit more fruity and younger, i tried few times in stores and im quite impressed. we can consider the daytime version of la nuit, and i hope trussardi will follow the new direction. it's on my want list, for now i can rate this fragrance 8,5/10 finalmente trussardi sembra tornare sui suoi livelli...

This juice is divine. A true gentleman's fragrance. Im finding I like more traditional aromatic italian fragrances. A lot of people like to compare it to La Nuit de L'Homme and L'Homme, and I do see the comparisons, but its not 1 to 1. Take LNDL, pull the cardamom out, replace it with some great florals, add a sweet green apple note to the opening, and a smidge of leather in the base. Its beautiful. Longevity isnt amazing but its nothing to scoff at. I really love this Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 7/10 Versatility: 9/10 Price Value: 9/10 Overall: 9/10

Riflesso is without any doubt a very good smelling cologne, mildly dry, almost "cold", absolutely not creamy, lightly fruity and quite bitter at the same time, mature and pleasantly reassuring. It clearly shares some similarities and notes with Costume National Cyber Garden except for the strong vinyl note which is totally absent here. I would dare to say it's a nice mix between La Nuit de l'Homme and Cyber Garden: 30 percent La Nuit de l'Homme / 70 percent Cyber Garden In my opinion it's more suitable for 30+ or self-confident boys Vote: 8/10

I have purchased this beautifully underrated gem, and l homme nuit ysl both this week. I can confirm they smell almost identical. Just trussardi has more of an apple note I it's opening. But honestly, feel trussardi smells better with more longevity #please don't shoot just speaking my honest truth without no #YouTube or fragrance influncers. Purchase trussardi riflesso if you are a ysl l homme nuit lover #promise you will be dissatisfied. Very happy with bargin, can purchase 100ml under £50 at present.
