Trussardi Inside

Received it in a swap last week.it's notes look amazing.right up my alley.coffee and heliotrope are two of my favorite notes.but don't know why I didn't expect much.it proved me that I was wrong.I sprayed it and I was smitten I'm so glad to own this gem and so sad to see another discontinued.I believe it was a very wrong decision since it could be the best trussardi offering. I can see why it's been compared in reviews to kenzo amour and lolita lempicka but they wouldn't come to my mind if I hadn't read it here.for me the closest one to trussardi inside is Amouage lilac love.not that they're dupes.just the same coffee-heliotrope goodness Trussardi inside has a great balance.it has a touch of sweetness but I can't call it a sweet scent.and it's delicious coffee note is easily detectable but It's not a real gourmand to my nose.if I wash to consider it a gourmand I'd say a classy,well-balanced and well-blended grown-ups gourmand. I've just used it a couple of times,well ever since I received it.for now what I mostly detect here are:coffee,heliotrope,something woody,something like tonka bean and musk,not a simple musk,better to say something warm and refined like a skin-like musky suede..all these notes blend to create this warm,cozy and conforming scent which is soothing as drinking a cup of coffee and resting on a pillow of powder.it's an intimate scent.stays very close to skin so I was surprised to be complimented on it.I thought I'm the only person being able to enjoy this heavenly skin scent but now I know that other people close to me can smell it too.even my sister in law who hates sweet or any perfume smelling like coffee told me:"you smell very pleasant,gentle and clean.if I wasn't forced to go to work right now,I'd sit near you and smell you're hair until I fall asleep" If you want a perfume for a job interview or any situation that you need something soft and inoffensive but also with personality,something that would show you're calm,non-pretentious,self confident and friendly and that you have your own style,not very retro and vintage,not too trendy,not too young or too old,not a pink girly girl,not a black masculine lady,not even a white devoted wife and mother,something which has your own color,and may cause people trust you easier,then trussardi inside can be a great choice Longevity is AMAZING!It melts in skin,becomes one with you and never leaves.there's still about 65mils left in this bottle and it's a relief to know I can enjoy it for a long time.I wish they bring it back so that other people could enjoy it too

Well, I was looking for a coffee scented perfume for my colleague (I even asked for advice here - thank you, Fragrantica members for your answers one more time! ), but after trying this fragrance I fell in love. Sorry, colleague! It won't be yours. Today is the day when "Inside" has made the step from the shelf "I Want" to the shelf "I Have". Warm, delicious, creamy, sensual. Beginning- sweet, a bit fresh (yes!), light scent then it becomes the aroma of coffee with some Bailey's and a cinnamon touch. I notice that this is a bit like "L" by Lolita Lempicka. I think it will be wonderful in winter- me wrapped in a huge, warm blanket near the fireplace with a good book and a big cup of coffee (and maybe something stronger in it) while outside it will be snowing. All the windows will be covered with flowers made by frost. The wind will be singing. Reminds me the song of Dorris Day and Dean Martin "Baby it's cold outside" ... I really can't stay... I really can't resist...

I just bought it recently and I was quite sure that I will not regret it due to the similarity to Prada's Candy. Hm, it's similar (as a cat is similar to a dog because they both are pets) but I like Candy a bit better as it its more wearable in summer. Trussardi Inside for my nose is even warmer. It makes me feel cosy and safe and I feel like lying on the sofa with a blanket on my knees, hot chocolate and a good book in my hand while outside it's cold and snowy. I'm very looking forward to wearing this in winter. It's a bit heavier as Candy but also very caramel-ish with a sense of coffee and something I cannot (yet) identify. So - it's delicious but nothing you should buy if you're more into floral or fruity scents. It's not the "fresh showered" scent but more the "mummy baked me cookies" scent. If you understand what I mean ;-)

TRUSSARDI INSIDE has been one of those old cravings... In my opinion, it has a curious opening scented forest, Woody tone interspersed with a sweet as candy note. It is sweet, but not cloying to reach. It's like open with a soft note of leather despite not being part of its composition. Now is when the soft touch Woody begins to "dance"with the incredible coffee visually wonderful note and all this leads us to this wake naturally musky and moderately atalcada. " SUBLIME! I understand that it is a specially designed fragrance to be a scent to the surface, to delight a short distance. It is sophisticated, and certainly has a great durability. It is intimate and very comforting.

I just "stole" this from my daughter. I had passed on this bottle to her a few years ago when I realized my skin was eating it up and that I could not smell it after ten minutes on my skin. While cleaning up a bit in her room today(a hot one-over 80*F/26*C), I found the bottle, spritzed a little on my wrist, and the yummy, sweet(but not TOO sweet) gourmand scent has been wafting about me all afternoon. It obviously blooms on my skin in the heat(I had previously only worn it in cold weather)and is long lasting. Since she now wears Daisy Eau So Fresh exclusively, I have stolen this one back from her and will be wearing it more this summer.

I hesitated buying this perfume because I know it has been discontinued and I am so tired of breaking my heart over perfumes. But, I am so glad that I took the chance on this beautiful perfume. It is classy, elegant and playful. It has a very, very slight hint of candy coated caramel popcorn to it, which I just simply adore! It's not sickly in any way and is just simply gorgeous! It is one of those perfumes that you keep applying simply because it smells so good! Ugh, not enough words in the dictionary to describe this. It should have been called "Trussardi Inside aka Delectably Moreish" :)

This is the smell of the modern young woman. Combines sweetness and freshness. Enveloping me with the gentle scent of luxurious cream, which smells gently worn like aura around me. Note: To my delight coffee definitely present in this scent. Freesia, passion flower and neroli also feel, but not so much that perfume is not considered as a flowery. Rather smells of nuts and cappuccino. The main difference between Trussardi Inside and other gourmand fragrances is that vanilla is absent here. This is a delicious scent that smells of luxury and style. With two words -It's classy!

I really dislike modern coffee scents like black opium or tom ford's café rose (2023)...I find them vulgar, I don't know what it is about them, something in their coffee note makes them 'in your face', aggressive, masculine even. Yet this... Is such a creamy, feminine, soft coffee based perfume. I like it very much! Had I not read the notes here on fragrantica I wouldn't have guessed it has coffee in it, simply because I have associated the coffee note with the vulgarity of the aforementioned perfumes. Good job with this one Trussardi! It's such a pity it's been discontinued

I think this has been described perfectly already. What a beautiful scent with the coffee, nut leaf, teak and vanilla. I do smell caramel but I don't see it listed here. Its sweet but not too sweet. Its has warmth but enough lightness it would wear well for hot or cold weather. Its smooth, rich, relaxing, elegant and romantic. The notes blend harmoniously together. The lasting power is great and the bottle is beautiful. I was on the hunt for a perfume with a strong coffee note and its very apparent through all the layers of Trussardi Inside.

As 'Inside' was first, in my opinion it is Prada Candy what wants to be similar to Trussardy Inside. I tried both and find Inside much more interesting and sophisticated. Maybe the best words about Inside are ELEGANT and BEAUTIFULL. Plus it's bottle is nicer than Candy's. Prada Candy is just another sweet-caramell scent in a cute bottle, nothing really interesting, very simple, like it but it's not on my "want list". I think the names of theese products are very 'talking' too: 'Candy' is made for girls, 'Inside' is for ladies.

I love coffee...I drink it every day and I can't resist the smell if it's brewing. Hence, I had to find this and give it a try. I'm so glad I got my hands on this one. It doesn't smell like a sweet latte or anything. It smells like actual coffee beans mixed with an exotic floral blend. My friend from Brazil says it reminds him of the Brazilian rainforest and although I've never been there myself, I imagine it when I smell this. It is one of a kind and truly intoxicating.

My fav thing !!! I want it badly, too sad it's not offered any more in my country and as i've heard - in most of the countries.My mom had it and i remember spraying it for 2 or 3 dates 2 years ago.Boys loved it.I dont care which age it's suitable for, but this sweet cocoa-vanilla aroma is creating images in my head of an adorable morning with coffee in my hand, next to my beloved. I would never get pissed off!..

Happy exotic floral scent with coffe and cream. So nice and unusual. I m getting stopped and asked what i m wearing all the time by women, but i don t tell :) hidden secret gem. Very good daytime scent. But men also do love it, when they get closer, so u can wear it also as a non offensive night scent. The new on market black opium from ysl reminds me a lot to it tough, but its not on the dark side this one!

Nice frag, i see the similarity to Belle en Rykiel edp which i have and love for cold days, just belle has lavender and inside not. Its makes it gentler ,less coffish ,nice cosy and kind of safe. You wont insult anyone with this. Sillage is worse than Belle. But even so ,i am happy i have a chance to still get to know this perfume bec its getting away from selling. THey dont produce it anymore.

I bought this with the intention of buying a coffee scent, and this one was suggested to try. While it's not what I wanted in a coffee fragrance, I was definitely not disappointed with what I got. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this gorgeous, feminine scent. For me, there is a mild, creamy, and moderately-sweet coffee note, that drifts and then bows to a powdery heliotrope. So divine!

Wow! How come I have never heard of this? Why is this not in every single one "top 10 gourmands" influencer video? I dug out a dusty 1ml vial from about 12 years ago in my bucket of samples. This is marvelous! Creamy, silky, sweet latte. Gentle and sensual, it cuddles you like the softest and fluffiest cashmere sweater. A hidden and discontinued gem.

So gorgeous! Very smooth and well blended, delicately sweet with added depth thanks to the soft note of coffee. Not much sillage, but enough for me to notice it throughout the day. Longevity is average, about 5 hours. In the dry down, it retains the sweetness but also somehow has a soft fresh aspect. Love!

think it's a delicious, sensual and luxurious perfume. Flowery but delicat, bright... and a sugary touch that makes it adorable.. I loved it on my skin and it really made me feel special. I think it's meant for the sweet-inocent women than fall inlove with the protective type of men.

Now I've got a big bottle, I'm in love with it! Top notes are very interesting, a bit spicy-sour but very nice at the same time (the nut leafs, maybe?). Then a big cup of cappuccino or latte macchiato, warming and delicious. It's so comfortable as can be. I love the bottle, too.

Inside is a timelessly beautiful, soft, yet warm-spicy coffee and heliotrope scent. At once both delicately feminine and warmly cozy. How I love this precious scent. Sillage is soft but longevity is outstanding. I do hope to obtain a full bottle of this ultimate femininity.

I tried this one yesterday. It's a very nice, long-lasting scent. My husband (who LOVES coffee and is a "hobby-barista":)) likes it too. I want it for this winter,'cause I want my man to caress me often:)! It's a creamy, cappuccino-like one, not a strong coffee-scent.

I love the smell. Coffee - like, sweet coffee but not too sweet and not a black one but more like 3 in 1. And it doesn't feel like a typical gourmand, it's a bit mysterious coffee, not a coffee copycat. Great job! Day/night, all seasons - a universal perfume.

A lot of praise has been given to this scent and for a good reason - it's a sweet coffee masterpiece. It's a shame it has been discontinued. I never repurchase full bottles but this one was so good that I'd make an exception. Trussardi should bring it back.

I find almost no words ... This was love at first sniff. It has everything, EVERYTHING I was looking for. GORGEOUS! I love, love this fragrance. I would also like to add that it ́s very close to skin. Perfect for work, won ́t offend anyone for sure.

Don't you know, by any chance, a dupe, replica, anything that copies this fragrance? How can someone discontinue something so delightful...it's the fragrance of my life and I can't even reach a replica of it.

I have two, but both open during the week I live in a place, and weekends in another and I don't like moving perfumes for fear that damage. They are my treasures jjjjjjj. I send you one ; ).

Really similar to Prada Candy and also a dupe of Sephora Brown, this is a caramelly vanilla coffee scent that lasts well, especially on clothing :) smells "expensive". Divine!

I am also very happy that I have found this fragrance. It's warm, sweet, like an embrace and it's a perfume with personality. I can imagine it in warmer weather as well.

Intimate, soft spoken and well mannered, but not a push over by any means. A beauty and a true catch! Sad it's gone...

Inside is a warm spicy floral with a sharp freshness to it upon spritzing it. Right after putting it on I feel like it lacks something, it seems like a very onedimensional scent. I can't recognize the coffee and sweetness that others do seem to pick up. I find it too mature smelling. The pink pepper and bergamot is probably to blame for this. It's also an extremely strong scent, perhaps a bit too strong. My nose got a little irritated. After 20 minutes however the scent has become a lot more pleasurable to my nose. The sharp spiceness is gone. It's is quite sweet smelling yet I'm still not smelling any coffee. The passion flower and heliotrope are especially present, but not too overhwelming. Vanilla is also present. The scent is still very strong and is still irritating to my nose. The drydown is really nice and subtle, and even a bit powdery. Unfortunately it does not have any sillage anymore once that occurs. Overall Inside has moderate sillage. Longevity is amazing. I even tried to wash it off with soap after 7 hours of wearing it, but I could still smell the perfume on my skin. Overall I'm quite neutral about this fragrance. It's pleasant-smelling, but nothing wildly interesting. I find it to be a bit overwhelming and too much though. Edit 4/13/2014: I've been wearing Inside for a couple of days now, and I am able to pick out the coffee now! It's extremely subtle and I expected it to be a warm note, but instead I find it to be cold. I'm now able to get over the pink pepper's irritation and I'm really starting to like Inside now. This fragrance is one that slowly grows on you! Give it more than one chance before you get rid of it!

This is simply beautiful: no edges, just soft creaminess and elegant sweetness. The opening is delightfully fresh and slightly bitter because of the neroli with bergamot and some light woods. I get a similar vibe from Dsquared She Wood (and they do share some of the notes, I even thought Inside has violet). The coffeee note is also detectable right from the start. It is not dominant, it's cosy enough to make you feel as if you're having a creamy vanilla-flavoured cappuccino in the afternoon. I agree that the drydown is a bit reminiscent of Dona Karan's Cashmere Mist, but without the slightly plastic note Cashmere has. The sillage is moderate and the lasting power is quite good. Bottom line: A relaxed and feminine gourmand-ish fragrance that won't make your head explode with loads of sugar - it's hard not to fall for it. Signature-worthy. I know the croc leather decoration of the bottle is for the company's sake, but it does not go with the mood of the perfume at all. Inside matches very well with Venus Cappuccino or Chocolate and Vanilla body lotion.

The similarities between Trussardi Inside and Belle en Rykiel are striking. They both start out sweet, tart and slightly woody then share exactly the same caramel-like heliotrope heart with a fairly syrupy coffee note - Belle en Rykiel is even sweeter, I have the impression of smelling pure wild honey. The first fragrance in my experience with a fairly close heliotrope smell: vanilla-ish caramel with a hint of woods. Later as Inside becomes drier on my skin I get more amber and coffee. The amber is very woody on me and combined with the coffee note it's dry, like scorched branches then it becomes dark and smoky in the drydown which is slightly tempered by musk and the rest of heliotrope trickling in. My only gripe is that Inside is such a skin scent that with practically zero sillage I wonder if anybody will ever notice I'm wearing it. Belle en Rykiel has slightly more sillage than 'Inside', otherwise it's difficult to tell them apart after a few hours of wear. How odd that both perfumes were created in the same year by two different noses.

I sampled this once in late summer, and it was just a little too much for me in the heat. Now that it's Autumn and a little cooler, I figured I would give it another go. I find Trussardi Inside to be (on me at least) very similar to Banana Republic Rosewood (which is similar to Flowerbomb). I get that sugared tea & flowers smell instead of coffee. Not bad, but I wish I could smell coffee. The floral notes in here don't bother me as much as they do in Rosewood & Flowerbomb. It's definitely a softer & more bareable sugar-infused floral tea. There's a caramelistic quality that adds to the yumminess of this fragrance. It's warm, cozy, creamy, sweet (but not cloying, IMHO), and very feminine. This is something I would definitely love to wear during the cooler months. To add to my enjoyment, I found that Trussardi Inside dries down smelling like Kenzo Amour ON ME! Fantastic! But where Amour smells slightly sweet-powdery-soapy-clean (at the beginning), Trussardi Inside [ends] with a sweet-creamy-powder. I'm going to have to make this a must-have!

Another beautiful floriental from Trussardi, INSIDE showcases coffee where JEANS featured liatrix/tobacco. INSIDE is a very well-constructed and truly delightful fragrance which recalls the drydown of BELLE EN RYKIEL. The two edps differ, however, in that INSIDE does not have the lavender aromatic opening which makes BELLE EN RYKIEL seem a bit more masculine, or at least androgynous. BELLE is also stronger and spicier, while INSIDE seems a bit closer to a skin scent given its low sillage. Well, if your skin happens to be delicious...(-: INSIDE also offers a nice dose of heliotrope, and somehow the musky-amber base has a patchouli-esque quality. Or perhaps the notes listed are incomplete? In any case, this is another scrumptious offering from Trussardi which is going on my wish list! I'm impressed.

Neroli and bergamot right from the start. Then the light caramelized scent of heliotrope. Beautifully blended and gentle. The coffee though is not what I expected. It's gently discernable and slightly acidic. Diluted black, not creamy latte to me which is what I was hoping for--perhaps it's the combination of neroli and bergamot that give this a little diffused brightness. The coffee note is not too obvious or overwhelming either. Warms down with some sparse shavings of dark woods, amber and a good balance of musk. A warm, cozy, feminine floral for coffee lovers. And although it smells different to, it has the same feel as Donna Karan's Cashmere Mist.

Inside is perhaps my favorite coffee perfume. The florals blend beautifully with the creamy cappuccino to create a seriously mouthwatering perfume. My only issue with it is that projection and longevity aren't strong enough for my liking...but then again, I think I like my perfume a lot stronger than most people. I love how Inside isn't nauseating or "too much" in any way. It somehow retains a freshness and cleanliness about it, which also prevents it from smelling like some kind of Jessica Simpson edible body spray.

I still don't know where it stands among my favourite perfumes, but it's the third or fourth one. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I don't, and it even happens that I start to like it after a few hours. But it's really nice. There's coffee and nuts in it, but it's not too sweet, and I can even smell some kind of body lotion in the fragrance. In fact, this was my very first impression: some kind of body cream on my skin. So it's really interesting, many-faced, never boring. But I have to be in the mood to wear it.

Very Sweet sensual, Warm scent. Mixture o caramel, vanilla, musk... I wouldn't say that definetely for winter... I rather prefer more stronger scnets for winter, like really orintal ones..it one is pretty light. It reminds me Lolita Lempicka in the biginning..(I also have this perfume). Although this one has much more caramel and coffee scent and it is not as long lasting and heady/sweet-heavy as Lempicka is. It reminds me nice desert on the coffee... when mixing with our skin it smells really nice, light.

Sunny autumn Sunday morning eating a brioche au beurre and dipping pieces in a bowl of cafe au lait in Montreal. Instant memories! Inside is that delicious gourmand that is requires some nuzzling, not a pushy or saccharine gourmand at all. The sweetness is soft and is not too foody. It does have a pastry and cafe feel to it but it's delicate a is more a skin scent. The bottle is lovely as well, I may have to pick up a backup of this one.

This is one of the fragrance that people will stop tou to ask you about !! A friend at work came once smelling amazing & we all asked her what perfume she was wearing.. She said Trussardi Inside & I've wanted it ever since. Now, it's my new treasure :) It smells awesome& leaving a very pretty trail. There is a very distinctive lovely note.. may be this this coffee all of you guys are talking about..So glad I finally found it here:)

This smell is like comely woman with very discreet make-up, in cotton, simple dress of topping creator. She drink macciato latte. Yes, Trussardi Inside smells easy coffee, excellent vanilla cake, bit of flower. It connected wonderfully with skin. Easy and very interesting - as woman, which says about nice, but neutral cases, never about it. So,name this fragrance is exact reverse of character. I like it.

Last time I've used it I was disappointed with its longevity. This time it has lasted a whole 24h (at least on my hair). Amazing. Maybe a plus temperature close to 0 degrees centigrade is right fot the composition:) The coffee and cream note is, sadly, only a brief moment in top notes on me, but then it sets to a lovely creamy scent with hints af nivea cream freshness, but yet somehow warm. Lovely.

I'm not picking up any coffee notes at all. Very sweet and powdery. The smell is very familiar, I'm thinking either Sweet Honesty or Skin So Soft by Avon. Not an old lady scent at all, but really more appropiate for a young girl's first perfume. It's nice, but the notes were very misleading to me, and it wasn't quite what I had in mind. Not a totally awful blind buy, but I wouldn't buy it again.
