Trussardi Uomo Eau de Parfum

Received this as a Christmas gift. First impressions: I love it! A well done modern masculine fragrance - fresh, versatile with a classic touch (fougere-like as some said). EDIT: After 1 wearing, I have to say that I was very impressed with the performance of this one. Sprayed twice the spot, it did not come across cloying, it projected hugely and it lasted more than 24h with a shower counting. The smell is a classic masculine one - the minty geranium and the sage I perceive most, but it does have some sweetness from the citruses and some earthy-flatness from the patchouli and the leather (the leather is very smooth here and not very heavily used). I saw this for over 80$ online - maybe it is worth if you like classic masculine fragrances. It is very well done Cheers!

A fantastic fougere for men. Hints of Quorum amidst a more modern barbershop profile. Could be a signature scent for someone who is always well dressed and wants to project confidence. The shower gel comments are far off the mark imo. Yes, clary sage combined with violet can read as shower gel but this has so much more going on. A perfectly balanced dark patch/leather combo that somehow comes across as rather diaphanous (keeping the light fougere quality of the scent intact). The subtle nutmeg spice interwoven into the creamy floral heart, that never feels old school (no heavy, buttery carnation here unlike fougeres of yore). Just a great and highly underrated scent.

Totally agree with a comment bellow... Completely generic scent without any personality. (Cheap men shower gel) Only Advantage it has a decent performance regarding longevity and sillage. Kind of weird that aquatic is the last on the pyramid but at the same time the most present smell you get.... However from my point of view i would not recommend it..... (Somehow sad because they have some really good juices in the overall collection)

A denser iteration of the EDT. Its more dense and the leather note is a lot more pronounced whereas the EDT version is more transparent and airy. Both are rather enjoyable but my preference leans towards the EDT due to its transparenct nature and similarities to Platinum Egoiste, which I find the EDP loses in favor of performance. I love the way the violet leaf, sage, and geranium is executed. Overall, a commendable modern fougere.

Bought this edp and it's edt based only on smelling and enjoying the rich warm scent. It is unique in the fragrance options of today's market. Very balanced and round. The edp is a bit more rich and interesting than the edt. It is very classy and masculine in a way that please all day long and for almost every occasion. I wouldn't wear it on hot days or to the gym. 9/10 for me.

Very first fragrant that I have. Would range it 8/10. Smell ok to blind buy or for the newbie. Only the long longevity is very weak. Only lasts my skin and clothes for about 2-3 h. Anyway, I will buy another bottle, hahaha, recommend to buy

In spite of all the negative comments, I have been pleasantly surprised with this one. Nothing like the old Trussardi powerhouse, but has good longevity on my skin and projects well initially. A good one for everyday wear.

Its like a troika of negative comments on this fragrance here now, cause I definitely agree with Denifragrance below. Had high hopes for this blind buy, but Trussardi Uomo EDP can only be described as plain boring, generic, bland, uninspiring..... ( to recollect Simon Cowell at his best!). An aquatic fougere, whereby the moss and violet leaves just dominate the fragrance for the duration of its life. I've seen better shower gel fragrances, nothing remotely special or good about this one. What a let down, can't wait to gift it or barter it off...

Smells just like the most generic men's shower gel you can find in your local market. Shame I was looking forward to trying it and I was hoping it will be something much more but it isn't.

Wow. The opening is extremely striking. I'm a fan of Trussardi, but I recognize the flaws with a lot of their scents. While Uomo (vintage) and Uomo Fresh present as well-composed, unique, evolving scents with quality ingredients, Riflesso and Riflesso Blue Vibe seem pretty cheap and unpolished. Not to say they aren't enjoyable, but the longevity/projection are low, the scents don't really evolve, and they smell like discordant, modern mish-mash frags that are not worth more than the asking price at discounters. And don't even get me started on My Land, which is really not even worth your time. Scents like Red, Black Extreme, and Uomo 2011 sit somewhere in the middle. Polished, people-pleasing modern formulas that don't smell cheap and represent good value for what you pay. They are at home alongside the upper mid-tier designer fragrance houses like Versace and Burberry quality-wise, as very enjoyable scents that aren't always the most original and don't always perform the best. Good, but a tier below designers like Chanel, Dior, and Guerlain. Ok, now that my general Trussardi thoughts are out of the way, back to Uomo EDP. I can honestly say that this fragrance is certainly top-tier designer. I know it's played out to say that an EDP version is a denser version of an EDT, but that's really what's going on here with Uomo EDP and Uomo EDT 2011. This thing performs! It's not super loud, but it seems to last and last with enough projection to get noticed. This style is timeless; it suggests masculinity, freshness, sweetness, spice/herbs, and green without being reliant on any of those things. By that I mean it suggests certain qualities without really following the standard tropes. Sort of like how Sauvage Elixir presents as sweet without smelling at all like what all the Eros/Layton/Invictus/JPG frags have convinced you a mainstream sweet men's fragrance should smell in 2022. That's what you have here and it checks a lot of boxes in all the right ways. I can certainly see myself wearing this for years to come. Highly recommended for men in their 30s and up, or those in their 20s with a love for timeless scents

GalbanUomo I was pleasantly surprised with this fragrance. It is high quality and unique enough to add to any collection. I haven’t tried edt version so i cant compare them. This has short boring star with citruses. Then blend of galbanum, geranium, sage and vilot leaf take stage. Heart is most exciting part of this parfum. It has similar structure with fougere but here galbanum replaces lavander. Which makes big difference. This is mostly flowery herbal parfum with support of leather and oakmoss. It has also a little bit sweetness from flowers. If you are looking male flowery fragrance like me this is a very good option. But I still suggest that you should test it . I can imagine combination of galbanum, geranium, sage and vilot leaf is not for everyone. Performance is also above average, it lasts all day . I think it will be great at mid-temperature, like in spring. I am into design myself, so i have bit difficulty like some bottle designs.I love this heavy black bottle with metal cap (I believe it is head of greyhound.) This parfum is also have great value. I paid 55 euro. I think for this quality, this price is very good. Considering a lot of brands charging much more for their inferior products. Definitely I am enjoying this parfum and i can recommend to others.

I have the Trussardi Uomo 2011 EDT in my collection for a few years now, and i can safely say that this EDP version is the exact smell just a lot stronger. I'm happy to say that it actually projects very nicely unlike Trussardi Black Extreme and Uomo EDT. With 2 sprays on my arm i myself and people around me could smell it, it's a great performer. Only sad thing is that it's marketed as a limited edition, meaning it won't stay around for long probably. It's quite a gem, nothing like it, i'd recommend getting it.

A proper EdP version of the original EdT. Same vibe, same flawlessly smell, just a bit more intense, more dense. The performance it's better than the 2011 Edt version, 10+ hours longevity but the projection it's moderate at max in the first 3-4 hours. The packaging looks cool, quite niche .A must buy for the collectors. Edit: You can find it all over Europe on Douglas stores.

This one is great, good performance and nice quality. However, the leather note is prominent and can put others off. Every time I get this one out my wife thinks I have a fecal/oud fragrance on.

It's a refined Axe gel turned into a fragrance. Interesting ? Absolutely not. Pleasant ? Kind of.
