Trussardi Uomo Levriero Limited Edition

What a beautiful masterpiece we have here! Elegance and masculinity in a bottle. If you’re into fresh/aromatic fragrances, blind buy it. On the other hand, if you’re still much into sweet, bubblegum and annoying perfumes, wait a couple of years until you begin to appreciate elegant, masculine perfumery.

@SculptureOfSoul , they are similar in that both are immediately reminiscent of the 2011 released EDT, the difference being that the regular EDP (gold cap) is closer to the EDT while the Levriero Limited Edition is fruitier/sweeter, probably due to the mirabelle listed in the notes.

Take it as an advice, this is an extremely effective cologne in a romantic summer night. Signature fragrance for such occasions. Do not over spray indoors, suitable for all seasons Scent 9.5 Sillage 8.5 Longevity 9

A lovely perfume with a good looking bottle. A terrific blind buy that is the beginning of a long lasting relationship. Must try at first as it may not be for everyone. Surely for a mature person.

Found this online for a good price and thought I’d give it a try since a friend recommended it to me. To my nose it’s a pleasant fresh, woody scent, somewhat similar to ferragamo by SV in my opinion, but not as woody and a bit more musky on the dry down. Lasts 6-8 hours on my skin and over 16 on clothing. It projects pretty strongly for me and it can come off harsh at times. I would recommend 4 sprays. Nothing special though and it will likely sit on my shelf until spring. The greyhound cap is pretty cool though and the box it comes in is nice. Looking forward to try their newest release this year once it’s available in the US. 6/10

Very pleasant fragrance, there is no rough edges. It is high quality, similar to Trussardi Uomo 2011 but if you compare them you can tell this is more long lasting, more rounded and smoother fragrance. Beautiful bottle and awesome cap, so cool. It's fresh, inoffensive, classy and masculine. I recommend, you can blind buy.

Hmmm...this 1 is for the mature older man...there's an old school vibe happening here. I have to say the sweetness from Mirabelle and mahonial is what ruins it for me and makes this less masculine compared to the better version of this the discontinued gold cap greyhound. Bummer such a gorgeous bottle but I don't enjoy smelling this on a man. The drydown is oki, barely.

Blind bought this for my father. It's sweeter than I anticipated from notes. This is a fragrance that the distance you have from where it is sprayed affects the scent. If I smell it from my wrist at very close distance, I don't like it, the sweetness and the nutmeg are too much. But when I smell it on my father, it's a different story. Very mature and classic scent with just enough sweetness and spices. Also pretty good performance. 6.5/10

Any leather in here? And no oakmoss? A couple novelty, lab-created chemicals? IFRA screwed us all and the once near perfect Trussardi Uomo, a truly masculine fragrance of the 80s and 90s is now compared to Moschino Toy Boy? Oh how the mighty have fallen. I cherish my vintage bottles with its bergamot, carnation and the base of oakmoss, labdanum and castoreum! A Trussardi Uomo with no leather? Get real...

Anyone know if this is the same as the uomo levriero with the gold greyhound cap, or otherwise how they differ?
