Trussardi Uomo The Red

I see a lot of gentlemen dissatisfied with this perfume, which after all it's normal because it's about taste. I'll give you a trick though gentlemen give it to a woman in your life she will like. And before some smarties, who did the chemistry with the cleaning lady, to jump up, neither Ph is a myth nor the substances on the surface of the skin, ladies have a certain chemical structure based on organic solutions at the surface of the skin while the gentlemen others, and I should know this as a chemist 😉. However, on a woman this perfume captures a cold-spicy aura made with amber, very good. I don't know why they didn't make it unisex it is obvious that the ladies in charge clearly and loud expressed their opinion, more than Tomaso at least. It is a very gentle perfume, a true gentleman wears it easily in a casual-elegant outfit, what is right here we do not include bermuda shorts. For a woman it is a very good perfume for a business outfit. It's the kind of perfume in which you feel comfortable running a meeting because it has a very strong vibration and an empowering attitude. I think, however, that without that sage, both gentlemen and ladies would have liked more, that note cuts the harmony of the rest a little.

I got a sample of this with another fragrance and have never heard of it in my life. I love it. You get a nice fusion of lemon, leather, rum and nutmeg which smells almost as if you are making an Italian cake of some sort. This definitely smells Italian and elegant but pretty casual too. I got a compliment from it and it really is delicious. It lacks depth however and can get a bit repetitive after a while but apart from that if you put this on with a suit to work as a middle aged man you will kill it. I feel like this is best for 30 plus men, as that nutmeg and rum plus leather give it a more mature and Italian vibe, which is very nice. For the price an amazing fragrance which is overlooked. For me 7/10

This is your typical trendy Men's fragrance of the current standards of sweet, boozy, leathery and minty. Has similarities with many main stream fragrances on the market (One Million, Eros, Polo Red Intense, etc). This is by no means a bad juice. It is very nice and would be great on a date night in the fall or winter. It is strong with amazing longevity. For the price and quality it is a safe blind buy IMO. If you want something more grown up in this vein I would suggest Moustache EDP by Rochas. Enjoy!

It's a great fragrance, Elegant, Classy and Sophisticated. This is a woody , floral , spicy style. It opens up with like sweet warm spicy and floral notes in the background then dry down is sweet woody leathery. The Leather note is dominant in this perfume. It has a silky box and the art of bottle design with Ruby Red color is very beautiful. This is perfect for the fall and winter. I really enjoy it and I like Trussardi Uomo The Red for Men. Thumbs Up. Beautiful fragrance...it's like a warm hug. Perfect for autumn & winter nights it's my favorite bedtime fragrance. Smells like fresh clean linens & pajamas. Long-lasting til the next day i can still smell it in my clothes for days. One of my "go to" faves for most cool nights & weekend relaxation. Trussardi truly is one of the best reliable fragrance brands i love in my collection.

At first smell Versace Eros came to mind' but this one has a signature that differs in uniqueness, I can say that the cognac ,citron, nutmeg and Patchouli give this masterpiece its mysterious and masculine identity, it's not loud like Eros it has a quality of warmth and elegance and maturity that Eros lacks. A masterpiece.

I like it very much, the opening is the most pleasant, especially. On me it lasts 7-8 hours casually, projection 2-3 hours, 10-12 puffs. I will buy it again, ideal in cool weather

If you mixed La Nuit De L’Homme and Eros together you would get something very close to Uomo The Red.

i was in a store few days ago and i smelled some new releases..dior homme sport 2017, mr burberry edp, boss bottled tonic, armani code colonia...all good but nothing special, maybe i will change my mind in the future but the only one that toke my attention is trussardi the red. i disagree in considering this fragrance generic. this is not a masterpiece for sure, but it's very interesting. it opens fresh and alluring with geranium but then became more manly with spicy and in the drydown i smelled something like leather..on the paper lasted all the day and more. in my opinion is very versitile, it can be used in all seasons and all occasions. so i definitely want to buy it, i know there are fragrances better than this(and more expensive) but there are many others absolutely inferior to trussardi the red. i will update the review when i will buy it. di sicuro promosso!

This is a great everyday scent for men! It's spicy and fresh at the same time, with a hint of leather that adds some depth. Lasts all day too.

Resembles Xeryus rouge but it's not Xeryus rouge. If you want something similar to Xeryus rouge just buy a back up bottle. This isn't as good as tge original formulation nor the reformulated xeryus rouge. Its an OK fragrance not offensive but I wouldn't wear it to an event or with a significant other. Perfectly fine for work but that's about it.

This frag here is like a combo of a sweet club frag (1 Million, etc.) and a modern warm spicy autumn / winter frag.

This is a fresh spicy mild warm weather daytime scent with great versatility. I get very strong violet leaf, strong geranioum, nutmeg, strong citron and clary sage. The cognac note feels mild and overly synthetic. At the late drydown I get the tonka beans. This is not a new smell for me. Performance is moderate overall.

CHEAP TONKA ________________________________________________________________ Just like the new TRUSSARDI UOMO, THE RED ist generic and cheap. Another tonka bean and geranium fragrance out there. Pedestrian smell-a-like of Dylan Blue and Sauvage. I don't like it at all. Lasts 1-2 hours.

Oh, okay... strange way to review a fragrance below, but whatever. I don't find there to be anything 'generic' about Uomo The Red, I actually find the underlying traditionalism of the Trussardi range to be refreshingly unapologetic. I had never known Trussardi until I randomly sampled 'My Land' some 4 or 5 years ago and I immediately fell in love with the classic elements. The lemon, nutmeg and cognac are so well blended in the opening to be just the right balance of piquancy and sweetness... both linked by the nutmeg which stops it being boring. Loving Tonka as much as I seem to, it keeps a back seat for me and I thoroughly enjoy the way the sweeter violet leaf note mimics the opening by balancing the spices and sharper notes. For me, there is just enough of everything to make this work together and is a good choice for anybody who wants a little taste of modernity introduced into their established ways. I like it a lot. To wear 'My Land' during the day, would transition nicely as an underlying skin scent underneath Uomo The Red worn for the evening. Getting mine soon.

Definitely not original. Definitely not mature. Definitely the little brother in the Trussardi Uomo line. Definitely fun. Definitely sexy. Definitely delicious. Definitely masculine. Definitely a yes! Whereas Uomo is at once a timeless and modern men's classic, Uomo Red follows in the "clubbing" trend of stuff like Polo Red, One Million, PDM Layton. Not that it necessarily smells like these, but this is a sweet, juicy fragrance that will definitely appeal to people who like more "youthful" scents. I'm not normally a fan of those types of fragrances, but I think Trussardi is one of the most underrated designer houses out there, so I'm partial to a lot of what I've tried from them. This is no exception. I much prefer this to the fragrances I mentioned earlier, as well as other cloying sweet fragrances like Armani Stronger With You, Armani Code, Mugler Pure Malt/Havana, etc. Just a deliciously sweet booziness that will have everyone around you sniffing.
