Ooh... this is one beautifully complex, fresh scent. I swear each time I spray pool it transforms differently. In cooler, dryer weather in London 15-25 degrees I smell the bergamot top notes for 2 mins first followed by a brief lychee note for first 5 minutes. This is followed by a balanced very green note from tomato leaf and cucumber for the next 2-3 hours which is balanced by the raspberry- some would describe this a soapy. And as time goes by the dry down peeks of slight bitterness of the spice and ginger at the 2nd hour mark. In the hot and humid climate of Singapore 27-35 degrees - I find the notes tend to lift more simultaneously and so the perfume smells more balanced and blended - more like you are smelling the green fruity floral facets simultaneously rather than separately. The bitterness from chili and ginger doesn’t come through as much - and I find the lily of the valley more forward in the heat, where it comes out more soapy in London. Which is one of the most fascinating and beautiful things about a perfume I have ever owned. While fresh- I find pool has great longevity on clothes and 7+ hours I could still smell it on my clothes. I can imagine a lot of fun with this perfume. It’s definitely unique. Worth a full bottle.

Just got this today. It’s spring here and it’s almost my birthday so, naturally, I wanted a little treat. Got this blind, mostly because I wanted to explore more green scents this year. The general feeling is that you’re staying at a nice hotel and decided that you want some relaxing time near the pool. There is a private chef that is preparing a fresh salad for you, yet you don’t feel hungry at all. You grab 2 slices of cucumber and put them on your eyelids, then you order a fresh juice with raspberry, lychee and black currant and continue your leisure day. It’s bright and sunny, perfect for the warmer weather. It’s juicy but not sweet at all. It makes you think of spending your adult money on holidays where there aren’t any kids in sight, so you can read peacefully under the gentle Sun. I can’t wait to test this outside, wondering how the smell will be affected by wind and sunlight. All in all, the perfect gift I could’ve gotten myself this year.

I’ll admit I underestimated Troyes level of taste, cause this is amazing! If you’re like me you’re always on the hunt for summery fragrances that aren’t cheap smelling or uncreative, and are frequently disappointed. I only like a small handful of warm weather scents (Diorella, Cristalle, Florabotanica, Azemour...) and now this one. It’s not just beautiful, but original, smells of quality, and lasts too. I don’t find it excessively odd even with the cucumber, tomato leaf and capsicum. It doesn’t smell like an actual pool but like a lush, posh resort surrounding a pool. When I spray this I feel like I’m in a new season of White Lotus. This scent has a sense of humour. Very cool use of lily of the valley and I do believe there is rose in here too. Bottle is cute too. I’m shocked this scent hasn’t blown up on TikTok, but also kind of happy it hasn’t.

Really incredible stuff. Starts off with the prominent, fresh, pepper, tomato leaf, and cucumber. Smells very realistic. Settles on my skin after a while into a bright raspberry with green undertones. Great mix of sweet and savory. I get really good performance out of this one for a fresh scent, too. The initial notes last for 2-3 hours and project that whole time before the more subtle raspberry comes out and continues to project for another few hours. One of my favorite fragrances I’ve had the pleasure of owning. Revisiting a year after my initial review (above) and I STILL have not found a spring/summer scent that I like more than this one. I've probably sampled hundreds in the time since then, and nothing has come close. I'm on my second 50ml bottle at this point and will likely continue to buy this every time the warmer months come around!!

Purchased this yesterday from Mecca here in Sydney and it’s my favourite from this collaborative house from Troye Sivan. Has real vegetal nuances similar to Sur Le Nil from Hermes and vaguely Le Tulipe by Byredo. Cucumber and tomato leaf note is very prominent from the get go but calming to my nose with a subtle Lily of the valley and lychee adding sweetness. Not that this is an overly sweet fragrance. Can’t really pick up the other notes but it’s very impressively structured and blended for the price of AUD 215 and very long lasting for a freshie. Will be perfect for our upcoming Aussie springtime. Highly recommended.FYI it’s a lot stronger than From the Garden

Alright, yes, this does smell like vegetables. But in a sexy, intriguing, daring way. I bought this for my mans and I loveee smelling it on him. Makes me wanna take a bite!!!! The tomato leaf is super forward to me. And the capsicum literally feels spicy - not like anise or clove spicy - but deadass like a pepper. The dry down definitely leaves a lychee note, but doesn’t resonate as fruity... more like a sweet floral of a fruit plant, not the fruit itself. It may be a little quirky of a fragrance, but it’s fun and flirty and unique. If you want an interesting fragrance that’s nonoffensive, this is a great one to dip your toes in.

Have gone through my bottle way faster than expected and I’m generally light with application. Wearing this across the seasons here in Melbourne Australia it really shifts. Sometimes it smells like sunscreen, other days it’s all cucumber or tomato vine (gazpacho), then sometimes the dry down is singularly sweet with lychee and raspberry. I don’t think Pool particularly works with my skin but I love it too much, it’s also the only scent that has made a housemate lean out of their room to compliment me on while walking through the house.

I agree with another commenter that this is a magnificent fragrance but it is a more casual-feeling scent. The fruity and champagne accords add to that. It's yummy, floral, and fresh smelling and you can really smell the bergamot, all middle notes, and red pepper throughout the day. Not a spicy scent though! Super long lasting and also unisex. I am a huge fan of Troye Sivan (creative designer of the brand) and love this perfume so much that I bought the full size bottle. Great customer service and fast shipping even overseas.

pool really transports me. it transports me to a memory, or the fantasy of one. it smells like unrolling your warm cotton towel on a hot day between a lush garden and — as its name suggests — a pool. green leaves smacking each other in the mid-july heat. call me by your name tease. fresh produce from the farmer’s market you picked up before arriving at the vacation house. chlorinated water steaming off the hot stone.

It smells so good! My boyfriend never notices my perfumes, but ever since he smelled this one for the first time, he always says it's his favourite and that he loves it. To him, it smells like fancy cucumber spa water. To me, it smells light & refreshing. Tsu Lange Yor scents are always quite nostalgic! This perfume was my signature scent last spring/summer. I'm ordering my 2nd bottle tonight

WOW! I own around 1,200 fragrances, and I can truly say Pool is like NOTHING I have; it blew me away when I first smelled it today. So unique, and aptly named — it smells good in the same way that a chlorinated pool + a spicy margarita + good memories that you haven’t even made yet smell good. THIS IS SO COOL GIRL/GUY SHIT RIGHT HERE. Indie.

This perfume is just wow. I don't own it for it's price (please someone make a dupe!) but I'm obsessed every time I see it at store. Last eternity on clothes! Kept smelling it for the whole week. I think the tomato leaf does it for me. Wish there were more popular perfumes with this DNA

When summer comes around this is the first scent i go to. It smells so much like the nostalgia of my australian childhood holidays in my home town. Organic fruit notes and veggies, i feel healthy when i put this on, even if i'm a little hung.

The tomato leaf, cucumber, and pepper notes put the freshness here off the charts. This fragrance has the perfect name.

Perfectly unisex photorealistic vegetable garden scent. Very yummy for the spring and summer!

weird but good, grassy cucumber, earthy tomato leaf and suncream.... mixed with plastic. no idea what is causing the plastic smell but it makes it intriguing and I don’t recoil at all. A scent for the main villain of do revenge, Austin Abram’s. Spring scent for a guy who still treats women poorly but has a mullet, drinks only filtered coffee and lectures girls on the themes of crime & punishment to come across cultured. envokes the image of your nanas backgarden too. I rock with it. oh yeah... not aquatic in the slightest, unless im missing a trick, it’s a bit of a silly name.

The tomato and red pepper is hyper realistic with this scent and starts at the forefront. The dry down ends slightly sweet and tangy. Think gazpacho and rosé. Ends a bit floral and young. All of that said, I really enjoy this scent on casual summer days to the beach, pool, or a drink in the sun. It’s creates a lovely mood for those easy days. I wouldn’t wear this to the office or an event. I wear this on casual days where it’s fun, relaxing, and in the mood to have a drink outside with mates.

So strange and so fun––opens bright green and fruity, a little floral, and then it slowly becomes more savory, the fresh vegetable comes through, pepper, cucumber, tomato leaf, ginger. Humid and summery, truly a vegetable and flower garden by the pool, without ever being overwhelming or too weird. Was curious about finding fragrances that smell like farmers' markets earlier this year, and this is the closest I've come so far, mid-summer leafy greens and fresh raspberry

Interesting for such a fresh scent for me to tread between smelling herbal and shampooey! Easy to get along with, and a smooth blend worth getting your nose on. Unfortunately something about it makes me just a teeny bit nauseous! To me it feels like the alolan form of Initio Paragon

A flash of lychee before the dominant raspberry shows. It takes a bit for the tomato vine to settle in, but it supports the other produce market-esque notes well. There is something off about the dry down and my skin... it smells a bit like if you leave a veggie box in a car.
