I came across this perfume in Dec 2024 in London. While in the shop, another person and I sprayed it and discussed the scent and what it reminded us of. I left the store and then went back an hour later to buy as I couldn't get it off my mind and it was such an evocative and nostalgic scent. When I smelled it the first time, I was transported to my childhood and it was Saturday morning and I was waiting for a carpool to a soccer game and the neighbor was cutting their grass and the Texas air was already hot. I work as a florist and although surrounded by scents all day, I can still smell this on me at the end of the day. It also smells so good when I put on my jacket days later and I can smell the spiciness left on my clothes.

Just got this today as a blind buy. The only green scent profile i usually like is a nice tea scent. However, I wanted to broaden my horizons this year and start exploring more green scents. I can’t describe you how good this smells. It smells exactly like the inside of a flower shop: the humid and slightly warm air, flower stems and nectar and a background flower-ish smell, that’s basically the combination of all the flowers in the shop. If I had to pinpoint one, I would assume it’s the orchid as well as the notes say. I think this is a masterpiece and has a unique and nostalgic feeling to it, it feels familiar but on a personal level, nothing alike from what i’ve put my nose on before.

I’m currently ok a no buy for perfume because i own loads and i’m about to move accross the ocean, but i sampled this without much expectation at a store a few moments ago and it was an instant love and purchase. I’ve been seeking a perfume that does a nostalgic, almost honeyed hay that takes me back to being a kid and spending the whole day playing outside in the grass just as spring was ending, and THIS IS IT!!!!! tbc on sillage, projection and lasting power; but in terms of scent holy s*** this was so good i ran to review it here like i haven’t done in a long time

I was testing a few perfumes without looking at packaging when this one stopped me in my tracks. I grew up in a flower shop, and the potent cut stems and grass had an immediate nostalgic effect on me (from the comments it seems I'm not the only one to get hit by this!). I got a travel size bottle on the spot. When I sprayed it in the office I immediately got compliments from multiple colleagues. This is a true spring fragrance, evoking days getting slowly longer, flowers starting to bloom, cutting the grass on the weekend. Easy to like and wear.

Spring/summer fresh scent. Smells like entering the florist shop - it has an instant spicy green opening like flower stems with a distinctive sweet note. The drydown leaves a sweet, musky floral scent and the intensity from the 'green' is reduced. It's a very unique scent and I've never smelled anything similar to this. Reminds me a little bit of POOL from Tsu lange yor which is also a 'green scent', however, doesn't have the same vegetal vibe. While POOL is spicy vegetal, this is spicy flower bouquet

This smells gorgeous, very fresh, clean, cool, and sweetly grassy. The floral note intensifies for me in the drydown. It projects and lasts well for a freshie, can still smell it at the end of the day! It's quite similar to Diptyque Eau Moheli but grassier (less sweet). In love!

Absolutely love this fragrance. It smells like fresh cut stems, a cool spring day, the florist's, and a wet white floral almost like you're a drop of dew off the petal of a flower rather than the flower itself. Unfortunate that it lasts genuine minutes.

i'm in love with this fragrance!!! to me it smells like a photorealistic starfruit, reminiscent of my childhood spent in the tropical islands. the bright and green opening mellows into a soapy and slightly sweet nectar on my skin. love sala so so much

The most beautiful fresh scent. The earthy sweetness of it is so unique and I find myself reaching for it pretty much every day. I love all of tsu lange yor's fragrances but this one is particularly special.

Straight up unisex. Very fresh and grassy. It’s like a mix of summer, hose water, and lush green grass. Very spot on. I’d get a full size if it wasn’t so expensive and it lasted longer.

I got to give it to Sivan, I had no idea this was his brand and that is a massive compliment, he’s made (or at least is the face of) some genuinely unique and fun fragrances. orchid and extremely freshly cut grass, with a similar static air to the aldehydes in lazy Sunday morning, though way better. Previous reviews of humid / sticky air are right on the money. If you live in the UK, you will recognise this scent as oddly specific to when the council cuts the grass and has all the yellowing sheddings everywhere. It’s that on the nose, so cool! I would adore this in a heatwave, sadly England doesn’t have enough of them for me to part the money for this.

Such a beautiful, green, nostalgic scent. Smells like so many memories: running and playing in long grass. Laying in a field, cloud gazing. Hiking through tropical areas after a recent rain fall... This perfume smells like humid air! Spring time air, humid greenhouse/flower shop air, or tropical air after a tropical storm. Crushed flower stems, mossy, grassy, light/airy, and damp. Really unique and nostalgic. Smells great

Smells like a nostalgic hot tub or pool, but in a fragrance form. Very interesting scent, but some people didn't like it. I personally enjoy Sala but it's more of an occasional to me.

If you know what a pesticide smells like, you’ll know how this smells straight out of the bottle. Luckily after it evaporates a little, it does smell refreshing.

Great use of synthetic materials to create a translucent, green-strawberry aquatic.

Sala smells overwhelmingly like an indoor waterpark to me––in a very strange but mostly not-gross way. Humid stale air, wet concrete, damp potted plants, but something weird and sweet, too. It also reminds me somehow of my grandparents who passed away about a decade ago, and I can't pinpoint exactly why (aftershave? their furniture? something they cooked? the backyard?) but I think it's probably bringing to mind the big value-priced containers of herbal lotion they had all over the house––I have no idea what brand, what scent, but the way I'm smelling being wrapped in a hug or sitting on their couch is uncanny (and of course nostalgic!!). I think I enjoy this fragrance for the memories it evokes, but I don't enjoy smelling like it. There's something a bit old and cloying to me rather than the sharp and spicy springtime freshness that I've seen a lot of people remarking on

I don't know why, but for me this is a photorealistic baby changing station in the bathrooms at a 90s leisure centre. And not in a good way :(

The coumarin is actually a no for me.

Trying to decide between this and Pool. Sala is the most linear of the two and is so soft and pleasantly green all of the way through. Pool develops more on skin, and bounces between green, aquatic, fruity, soapy, bitter, fresh. I don't necessarily equate complexity with greatness and feel I prefer the Sala vibe for myself. It has a quality like the milky sap from a plant. It's vegetal but it's creamy and soft. My kind of warm weather scent.

Peering into the refrigerator of a flower shop and smelling the stems and cool mist moving through the air. Not sweet at all, and fully committed to the green and aromatic notes. Super evocative and well made scent. Comparable to: Steamed Rainbow by DS&Durga, but it lacks the warmer musky base and citrus top notes.

this fragrance is so good!!! I've been getting whiffs for the past few hours and its so pleasant. kind of watery floral-cucumber vibe. I guess its the flower stems I'm smelling. pretty linear, but that's not a bad thing. I gave my mom six random samples to try and this was far and away her favorite.

It’s been available here in Sydney since around Christmas. Very aromatic green scent similar to Pool without the tomato vibe. Vetiver is subtle here but noticeable. Good spring nuances for a late summer pick me up
