TLY 5755

My favorite from the line of EdPs. Overall, 5755 smells like something I can't quite put my finger on; a bit woody, a little spicy, vaguely green in the background, quite powdery. I get a creaminess here too, plus an earthy patchouli in the opening when I smell close to the skin, which I love. Entirely genderless-- I don't understand the number of "male" leaning ratings at all. It's perfectly pleasant and feels like an easy reach signature scent, if a bit more tame than I prefer my fragrances. I wish it was more overtly earthy or had some rougher edges, maybe more punch from spice or something a little dirty to rough it up a bit. As is, I'd spring for a travel size if available, but don't think I can justify full price for a bottle of something that's just...nice. Edit: they did indeed release a travel size, which I purchased and have been wearing often. The vanilla is much more present on my skin with these extended wears— it essentially smells like an earthy, green, powdery vanilla fragrance to me. It’s really quite nice, I’ve been enjoying exploring it more.

I bought the sample set because of Pool, but this one ended up stealing the spotlight. It’s the kind of scent that makes you think, “I wanna be that person” I wore it for a night out and when I went to order my first drink, the bartender immediately asked what I was wearing. It’s different, it plays between organic and synthetic in a really smooth way, and as time passes it leaves the nicest trail behind you. All the fragrances in this line share that slightly “weird” but super clean vibe, almost powdery in a cool modern way. Yeah... I’m buying the full bottle today

I got the sample set for pool but instead I got really addicted to TYL 5755. So much so I repurchased the sample set 3 more times. I caved and finally bought the full size. It is so comforting to me, the woods are beautiful and the cashmeran is very creamy, so cozy and warm and sits so nicely on my skin, it last a long time too. I like to spray a little on my wrist before bed and when I wake in the morning it’s still smells sooo good, my skin but better! It’s just sophisticated, for me this scent smells rich, effortless and chic and I’m in love!

TLY 5755 will be my signature scent forever. It’s so spicy and woody, but maintains a sweetness that separates it from other scents in the category. I personally tend to love perfumes with the typical synthetics in them, this one has iso e super, cashmeran, and ambroxan, but they’re done right. None of them are in excess, and it isn’t screechy or loud in any way, in my opinion. This one lasts all day, gets lots of complements, and there’s nothing else like it. Really into everything Troye and his brother are doing with this brand.

wowowowow i love this scent. i never usually want to give into the celebrity perfume market, and was hesitant when i was in Mecca and this was recommended to me, but i do really love this. I had asked for Indigenous plants and notes in perfumes and really loved the notes used (the Tasmanian mountain pepper in this is gorgeous). it is also very unique and i haven't really found a scent quite like it, quickly becoming a signature, and i only got a smaller bottle.

Right at first spray, the spiciness of TLY 5755 is almost overwhelming to me (definitely not a fragrance to put on right before getting in the car) and leans masculine, but after a half hour or so, when it starts to dry down, it really dries down––into something that's totally unisex and so mellow, warm, creamy <3 i'm a huge fan... there’s maybe an aspect of this too that smells a little bit like bigelow tea brand’s Constant Comment blend?? Which I adore

This is a surprising fragrance. I was expecting something more woody and earthy, but it turns out to be rather fresh and green on my skin. Very lovely. It made me think of one of the first ‘high end fragrances’ I bought way back: Maison Margiela’s Untitled and Untitled l’Eau. No similar notes, but still... Anyway, very enjoyable. Do try.

i got a sample of this last year and ive been dreaming about it ever since... genuinely the best perfume i have ever smelled. when first sprayed its spicy but then as it warms on the skin it settles into a creamy piney honey vanilla. theres a certain note in the dry down specifically thats SO addicting. troye put crack in this

Tried this today at Nordstrom and immediately liked it. I took home a sample. It has a creamy chocolate accord. It’s very 👍 Update: Sampled again as I was walking through Nordstrom and loved it . Couldn’t stop smelling my wrist. Made a trip back to purchase a bottle. A++++ ❤️ it

I bought a sample of this & immediately purchased a full size. Opens very woody & bug spray-like in the best, nostalgic way. Dries down into a lovely, not overly sweet vanilla and lasts for a surprisingly long time. Very unique & perfectly unisex!

So uniquely beautiful and earthy. I can't even think of what to compare it to, but to me it carries the same sensual vibe and addictive quality as some of the fragrances in the JPG Le Male line.

An amazing scent for a special occasion, if you want to feel expensive and embody the attitude of a main character, this scent will work for you.

Smooth, comforting, spicy, woody, and addicting. TLY 5755 smells luxurious. This is a unique scent. Incredible longevity

my boyfriend wears this and it kinda makes him smell like balloon. like freshly opened balloon bag smell. i love it

I'm old enough to have no idea who Troye Sivan is, but hats off to the guy for having good taste in perfume. I just applied a couple sprays of TLY 5755, and now I can't take my nose off my wrist. I see people mentioning Tasmanian Mountain Pepper as the hero note, but what I'm really responding to here is the shiso, with its anise-pepper-cinnamon profile. Its brightness is what makes it such a good counterpoint to fatty fish in Japanese cuisine, and here, it's doing similar work, giving what could have otherwise been a gentle but nondescript woodsy perfume a little pinch of vibrant weirdness. I can't stop sniffing!

One tiny spray on my hand and this scent was haunting me all day! This is sweet fluffy cashmere and dry wood. It’s thick, intense and a little dusty. Think of sticking your nose in a packet of incense sticks and sniffing. Similar I see this scent being very popular and a great signature scent!

My least favorite of this line by a pretty wide margin. I get pretty much only smoky vetiver in the top. Calms down over time and settles into the woody iso e super/cedar base. Decent performance, projects pretty well and lasts for most of the day. Feels very similar to Le Labo's Vetiver 46 to me, maybe a little mellower.

the vanilla mixing in with the spices in this feel like a "the menu" bougie type of spicy hot chocolate. Spices were too overpowering for me.
