Gorgeous. My 8 year old goddaughter loves it!! She said, "It smells like real honey with wax! It's better then my honey in the bear bottle!" Hours later, from one spray to her arm, she said, "I can't believe it still smells like honey. But it smells like honey, and wax, and I smelled some smoke, but now I just can't believe it still smells like honey." Exact words. And yes, I tested Zoologist Bee on her other arm. Mellifera came out TOP HONEY! So good. 🐝❤️🐝

Man this fragrance is amazing. I have tried every honey fragrance on the market from kilian back to black to zoologist bee to whatever else you can think of, I hated them all, none of them felt as natural smelling or hyperrealistic as mellifera, this starts out slightly fruity honey, but soon dries down to the most familiar and amazing honey smell you could ever want or need in a fragrance! Trust me when I tell you this is perfect for honey lovers.

opens with waxy, buttery, sweet honey, almost a touch powdery and dusty. the pollen is very noticeable, like pollen in the spring air, strawberries are somewhat noticeable behind all of this honeyed goodness. drys into a still sweet animalic consisting of civet and muskrat, a little pissy sweet and woodsy. this fragrance is absolutely gorgeous the whole way through! 😍 10/10

Yes this is a honey fragrance, all things from the Bee. But the listed notes are missing the 3 notes that really make this stand out as a stunner of a fragrance. One of the BEST sandalwood drydowns I've ever smelled in my life. And there is strawberry and apricot in the top which gives it an almost sour cherry smell to my nose. It's fantastically smooth and beautiful

There are some heavy notes that aren't listed that I get from this fragrance. There is something smokey, incense or cigars and a thick spiced rum when I smell this. It is a heavy, moody honey where Zoologist Bee is a delicate and whimsical honey. I love them both but this one is more captivating IMO.

Another winner by TSVGA. I only own a sample but will be purchasing a bottle. I believe that honey is such a relaxing fragrance and this one can't BEE any better (Yes, that was corny).

What an exciting perfume! The civet note has me enthralled. When first applied, a warm honey and beeswax is married to muted florals, but soon the florals subside and become more pollen-like. Underneath it all, civet and beeswax support the honey, providing a slightly dirty but not unpleasant waxy and skin-like note. It’s animalic in a way that keeps me coming back to huff it. The civet note takes the innocent sweetness of honey and points it in a decidedly sexy direction.

My top honey fragrance.Its incredible,sweet,buttery but never cloying.Sweet with vanilla and animalic with civet.It actually have real butter with Mysore sandalwood which makes it more creamy.Good longevity with natural ingredients.Must try for honey and sweet fragrance lovers and you won’t disappoint.Its has gourmand undertones but somehow its weirdly good 😊

It has just a little too much animalic funk for a honey fragrance, but doesn't go full furry warmth like Absolue pour le Soir either...It does get better as it settles though.

An unapologetically rich, animalic honey fragrance. Don't expect any gourmand sweetness. Less like a sugary drip of liquid gold and more like the dense, waxy heft of solidified beeswax. It has a feral edge and opens with something slightly plasticky or synthetic. That note smooths out as the scent dries down, letting the funk/honey take center stage. Though undoubtedly a creative and niche-grade composition, its stinkiness makes it a tough wear in warmer weather.

The school janitor has freshly laid sawdust in the cafeteria after someone just upchucked their juice. Sorry....I hate this one. I love honey notes and have a preference towards naturals but there's something here that's vile. At least it's strong.

A pleasant buttery honey/beeswax scent. Generally speaking, honey has that horrid sweet note that makes me LOATHE most honey scents. And beeswax has that burnt plastic note, too, so the two combined kinda make me avoid most honey/beeswax scents. I'm pleased to report that this scent displays NONE of those unpleasant elements. I, however, am just simply NOT a fan of these components, so I most likely won't be moving on this. But I gotta say this was certainly one of the least jarring honey/beeswax scents I've ever smelt...

This smells like realistic honey, but becomes distracted by the butter notes. It's got a weird dirtiness to it that smells like burnt butter, reminds me of the many kitchen mishaps I've had. I like it, and if I hadn't tried Hiram Green's Slowdive I would probably love it, but between the two, Slowdive is better because it doesn't have that dirty burnt butter feeling.

I received the sample set, and this one, together with a few Others, deserves attention. It truly smells of butter, beeswax, sandalwood end it is the most realistic fragrance of this genre. It is not Cloying in at all, I don’t smell any honey, I only smell a dirty creaminess, real, hypnotic. To me it is not a gourmand fragrance, it’s a genre of its own. Bravo!
