Strawberry Seduction

Quite simply one of the most sexy fragrances I own. It's sexy on me, a man. It's even sexier on the opposite sex. It is in no way childish or youthful smelling. No berry candies as maybe someone would guess. But what you get is a very very sexy vanilla fragrance with fruity animalic nuances across the whole spectrum. A gourmet bakery with a secret hidden door that leads to a place full of fetishes and lust.

I will most likely be adding to this review in the future after more uses of this fragrance. This is an initial review. This is my first purchase of a product that focuses on using real animal extracts. I was intrigued after taking in a couple of reviews from trusted reviewers and impressed when I researched the company and its owner. The perfumer, James Berry, really opens up and shares his passion for creating fragrances and how he obtains the raw material needed. I was sold and purchased Strawberry Seduction, feeling confident that this was a good blind buy. Mr. Berry processed the order quickly and I received it in short order. Nice packaging and a trial decant as well. Then I tentatively applied a single spray to the back of my hand and all I can say is Wow! Not what I was expecting. There is a strong animalic profile to this fragrance that overshadows the other notes, including the strawberry. I had never experience anything like this. However, after letting it sit for a while I began to appreciate it. My nose hasn't been able to individually sort out the other scents but there is a smoothness to the fragrance and a background sweetness. Unlike most fragrances I can think of, the sweeter aspects show up more in the drydown as opposed to the opening. The fragrance does remind me of being outdoors, a very natural and real outdoors. I'll be honest, I love the artwork, not the "Prude" artwork listed on this site. Check out the TSVGA website for the actual artwork. At first I hadn't quite connected the artwork with the fragrance but it did happen! This fragrance is long lasting and a few hours into it the strawberry, along with the general sweetness, really outshone the the animalic notes. It is a sexy fragrance, if you wait a while. To sum up, I like this fragrance. I would go easy on the trigger and wouldn't spray on my neck. If you do you'll be smelling civet and muskrat for some time. Speaking of muskrat, according to this site, this is the only fragrance to utilize it. I urge the wearer to avoid knee jerk reactions and let this scent settle down. It really is unique, intriguing, and given time enjoyable.

smells surprisingly cheap for what it is. shock, sad, and surprised at this one. thought id love it, probably would like it on a woman but why would anyone pay this much for it. insane. 6/10

I'm sorry but this is close to vile. I smell no strawberry or vanilla, not even the good raw kind. It is just wildly animalic and stinky. I'm a very adventurous perfume lover. I don't love sickly sweet or fruity scents so I thought this rendition of strawberry would be right up my alley but oh my goodness just no.

You had never realized quite how handsome the farm boy was until today, his strong, lean body and his tan skin. In the afternoon he picked a wildflower bouquet as you walked through the woods and fields and past the stream where the animals gather to drink. As the evening crept in he snuck into the farmhouse and packed a basket of cheese, bread and a bottle of strawberry wine. He takes you to the hayloft over the sheep barn to watch the sun go down and the sky fill with stars. The wine is nearly gone when he captures you in a gentle embrace and kisses you deeply. A passionate whirlwind finds you both nude with straw in your hair, the last of the wine spilled, the beautiful bouquet crushed beneath your passionate throes and the smell of sheep wafting up from below. Bro. This fragrance smells like a sexy romance novel. I only got a sample and I need more.
