There is no doubt TSVGA perfumes are super high quality build. Sadly people whom can handle in your face ostentatious perfumes often deride such but I get his ethos. Some are left field and some are left filed extreme.This one is one of the more extreme indeed where even loyalists would say dim it down a bit. This one is super left field and definitely amazing however I can not imagine any setting where someone (even me) would feel comfortable wearing it. Its like Imaginary Authors - A city on Fire or a number of Zoologist Perfumes - who needs to smell like this? Super strong oily tar and cade - super super heavy - oily and stains kinda performance. Its an amazing construct but I just can't see why! Really for people who need to stand outing to wow. If you are bold this is for you as is most of his creations.

I really like this fragrance and believe it completely captures that campfire experience. Still, this is really a novelty type of fragrance, to be worn because the wearer wants to enjoy it. I just can't imagine a scenario in which an individual would wear this out in a public setting. However, if a wearer does it is sure to capture the attention of others. I wear this around the house sometimes and enjoy the memories it conjures.

I'd say this one is the most challenging of this house. It opens very smokey, intensely burnt woods. You have to have the patience on this one and wait for everything to mellow. You also have to know how appreciate art because this is not for everyone. More challenging than the medicinal barnyard skunky oud imo

Review Foundation: Have a tester, live in a high humidity country, tried because I am looking for a fire/burning/campfire scent. // Thoughts: When I was younger I spent autumn with my grandparents in the mountains. Us cousins would chop wood and ready it for their wood burning stove in their mountain wood home, it was the only way they had heat in the winter under blankets of snow. This scent comes on so strong! If you’ve ever been able to experience the iron stove burning logs in the winter this is the exact smell. Strong, powerful, almost perfect. The almost is that there is another scent that peeks in and out in waves. It breaks the fire and is at times frustrating and others nearing offensive. It rises up like burnt rubber. Thankfully (?) the entire fragrance fades quickly on my skin and I am left with whispers of the burning wood if I smell my wrist directly. // End Opinion: I loved the burning wood but found it killed by the attention seeking other scent (which, given how powerful the burning wood is that’s saying something), I cannot wear this without finding myself recoiling as it pops up. That said, as with all scents of this sort if you are seeking a burning, woody, masculine but unisex, winter fire smell I do suggest trying it out! These types of scents really do react differently to different body chemistry and you may find what is burning rubber on me (I suspect it is the skunk cabbage, even though I don’t find skunk cabbage in the wild this offensive) reacts differently on you.

Vicki-Lin hits the nose like a hammer with an overdose of cade oil, utterly brutal and unattractive. There's smokey, and then there's scorched and charred, and scorched and charred is not romanticized nearly as much as the smoke from a distant fire. This smells like you're being immolated with your own livestock. On a more humorous note, the notes breakdown lists western skunk cabbage. For anyone who is familiar with this early spring plant that grows in wetlands, its a welcome sight after a frosty winter, but it's stench is the last thing I'd imagine as an appropriate note for a perfume. Much like all other notes listed here, it is not detected under the oppressive smoke. Not even the roasted seashells of Choya Nakh is discernible. If these materials were actually used, they were surely squandered under the massive slug of tarry cade. Eminently unwearable.
