19 Degree

After almost 48 hours and 2 separate showers each day, the fragance is still a skin scent, it's unbelievable how long lasting this is. Bought it 50% off on Macys for less than $100 and the gift set included a 1oz bottle + the 3.4 ounce of extrait. This frag can be used 3 out of 4 seasons (summer is too hot for this dense, rich and heavy frag), best ones are going to be Spring and Fall, winter I have to try it when the cold season starts. The first 15 minutes after applying the frag you'll feel a little underwhelmed, you'll feel a little ripped off with a generic brand smell of Aventus, however, after that first spray and waiting a little bit, the frag will change drastically to something you've kinda smelled before but can't pinpoint what it is. It's a complement magnet, a girl magnet too (girls will glue themselves to you in the fair or the market or target) I don't really recommend paying the retail. Tho it's an amazing frag, for the money you can be better off getting 3 or 4 different frags from a discounter online for the same price as this only 1 bottle. I don't think it's worth the $175 tag for only the bottle or almost $200 for the gift set, if you can score this frag for close to a dollar a milliliter and under, it would be an amazing value. Honorable Mention to Continuum by Tumi which is also a masterpiece and you can snatch this frag currently in a gift set for less than $70, as well as Atlas, Awaken and my least favorite from the house of Tumi, Unwind.

The scent of 19 Degree falls perfectly in line with my preferences. Imagine the essence of Creed Aventus—only swap out the pineapple for raspberry, and add the rich base notes of Tom Ford’s Ombre Leather. The result is a fragrance that feels distinctly masculine, yet refined. While bold, it remains versatile enough to wear on most days, excluding perhaps the hottest of summer. A good rule of thumb: let the temperature stay under 19 degrees Celsius to allow this scent to truly shine. The bergamot up top provides just the right balance to the leather, enhancing its wearability. I discovered this fragrance through a Belk sampler this Chrismas that included seven different scents. It quickly became one of my favorites of the set during winter, and after revisiting it in the spring, I can confidently say it still holds up. My appreciation hasn’t faded. To those reviewers claiming this isn’t an Aventus clone—you’re right. It’s not a one-to-one copy, but it undeniably shares some of the same DNA. Think of it like this: if Creed released an “Aventus Red,” then followed it with a “Aventus Red: Leather” flanker, 19 Degree would fit that lineage. Yet, it doesn’t try to imitate anything. It stands confidently as its own unique scent. This fragrance was a complete surprise for me. I didn’t expect it to impress me as much as it did. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for a full bottle this fall. Very few fragrances make it into my “Love” category—but 19 Degree broke through.

I went into sniffing this completely ignorantly, as I've never even glanced at this before. The opening is absolutely fantastic, I adore raspberry. However, this is much more tart, nearly bitter, and verges on smelling like grapefruit. The addition of saffron is brilliant, though it winds up having a peppery tone. It's such a fresh, spicy fruit chorus, I keep sniffing the back of my hand (wearing it, but not committing to it). This is not a linear fragrance at all, and steps down by degrees (pun intended). After the citrus&raspberry fade, the saffron with leather really emerges. This is more suede though, and not at all a brash leather. In fact, I'm down voting "leather" and boosting "suede", because that's how my nose is deciphering this. Plus, with the addition of smooth sandalwood, it further tempers this composition. Despite it's soft texture, this remains decidedly masculine (who cares, wear what you like). I'll do a little gender bending, but this is too deep into classically male territory for me to want to wear it personally. I really think this would be beautiful on men for dates and such, but truly wouldn't be out of place casually either. I think it's quite versatile, and I cannot see it doing poorly aside from possibly being eaten by cold air. It's upscale, but not pretentious. Soft, but not overly sweet. It's extremely tasteful, and I want to snuggle up next to it 😊

Only just received today so not rating in full. It really is a spot on hybrid of Aventus and Tuscan Leather. Two fragrances I simply would not have thought would work together. The TL aspect of it is lighter and made less animalic by the Aventus-esque freshness hovering over it. Pineapple is not listed but it's genuinely sitting right there in the mix and I can literally visualise it with saffron scattered over the top. To me the raspberry is clearer in the opening. The immediate opening is extremely unique with a tart shock of raspberry which soon mellows as the musky birch sets in. The drydown is addictive. I feel put together with this on. I tend not to like standing out from the crowd a whole lot particularly when it comes to highly subjective opinions on things whether they be material or intellectual, but... the added edge of Tumi 19 is just enough to let me take one or two steps out there with comfort and confidence. I have high quality takes on both Aventus (Afnan Supremacy NOI) and Tuscan Leather (Leather by Ahmed Al Maghribi) but Tumi 19 is absolutely in no way redundant. The best part is I picked up an almost new bottle from eBay (listed as sprayed once) for £48 including delivery which is absolutely incredible. First full wear tomorrow after trying on a few hours ago this evening.

Tumi 19 Degree has gradually become one of my favorites. It is blended perfectly. I am not the type to overspray and find myself offended when I'm stuck with someone else who does. With 19 degree there is a smoothness to it that prevents it from potentially coming off as abrasive to people around you even on the off chance they don't appreciate the scent. The top notes of berry and citrus come through perfectly clear at the same time as the leathery base notes. The fruity notes are unique (almost like black berry). The leathery notes are smoother than something like ombre leather (maybe more like a suede). Neither end overwhelms the other from the moment of the initial spray to the very end of the dry down. Some fragrances require a deep inhalation to perceive its full breadth. Not This. It's all there clear as day, top to bottom, from beginning to end. My one minor complaint is that the bottle is not transparent at all and I'm sure the day will come where I'm excited to put it on only to find there's nothing left. Overall I love it and I am hoping others try it so that I'm not left with my new favorite being discontinued.

This one behaves drastically differently ...... Skin: Leather and suede - soft and refined, never dusty thankfully Test strips: Saffron and Raspberry Cotton shirt: ah the Aventus and Mancera’s Cedrat Boise comparisons.... But with a light jammy raspberry. Everything balanced on cotton. Skin is 7 hours and on cotton clothes it's nuclear. Massive difference and 10 to 12 hours is possible. ✅ 4 out 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 💕 ✅ 3 out of 5 for the $175 price ✅ Of all the Aventus inspired fragrances (this is not a clone) - this is my personal favorite. I own original Insurrection, 1st batch Armaf CDNuit, and L'Adventure, Cedrat Boise, Pineapple Vintages, MontBlanc Explorer and three different Creed batches. Sample this one extensively, don't sleep on it.

Those condemning this because of cost are not only disparaging a product worth the bucks but have failed to notice that Jomashop has an incredible deal on this excellent perfume. The gift set including travel size is only $100. They also have the excellent Tumi Continuum gift set too at the same price. Of all the parfums I have which I know you have also collected this is the only one my wife has responded to by asking "what scent is that", "how do you spell it" "I love it". Putting them down because they provide top-drawer luggage is juvenile. Simply means they have the bucks to create other remarkable products, which they have in this case. The smell is incredible. Great projection, silage, longevity, especially at this price. These two will be the only travel sizes I take while on vacation this year to Santa Catalina and a few of the Hawaiian islands. Edit: Nachdaddy has pointed out they've sold out of 19 Degree gift set at least for now, though Continuum gift set still available....

This is the most exciting fragrance in the Tumi lineup. I tested it multiple times against my other favorite from the line, Atlas, and I came away from each test wearing 19 Degree. I think that says enough. I wouldn't waste time comparing it to Creed; there are more fruitful endeavors in life. Speaking of fruit, like the user below me said, the raspberry note here is delicious. It's only the centerpiece of a bountiful banquet, though. The rest of the fragrance, too, is remarkably bright, woody, leathery, slightly creamy, and just fun. One of the reasons 19 Degree took precedence over the other Tumi fragrances is due to the rather mundane nature of some of the others; most of them I found to be safe shower gel or fresh spicy scents without a lot to make them stand out, with an obvious exception being Continuum. This one is the perfect balance of extroverted fun and mature, serious fragrance stuff, very excellent overall, good for many occasions, I like it, I endorse it.

Bought this in winter as on paper it smelled really good. The fruity raspberry note really sang and was a refreshing twist on the 'aventus' type fragrance genre. I was disappointed when my first few wearings of it didn't come across the same. Instead of that fruity sophisticated fragrance I got a very leathery woody frag that was not to my taste (similar to what others have experienced, it kind of smelled like Tumi leather luggage). I put it away until the spring when I decided to give it another go, and I'm so glad I did! The warmer spring weather changed everything. Finally the fragrance I first smelled on paper returned. Bright opening, then a gorgeous raspberry that lasts throughout on a background of birch and an elegant bed of suede. Unique, classy, and damn good. It's my only fragrance to get consistently complemented at work and I'm having trouble choosing to wear anything else lately. I hope it still works in the heat of the summer. We'll see.

This is a fine example of an unexpected gem from a 'house' that isn't known for their escapades in the fragrance world. I'd heard alot about it and finally found myself a used bottle with around 90ml left at a fantastic price from a decent guy selling it on. This is an awesome fragrance and unique compared to todays usual samey-scents being released. I don't get the Aventus talk. It's like 10/20% similar to me, if that. This is like a masculine, musky raspberry frag that does it's own thing and I love it for that. This lasts 10 hours on me, although not a huge projector, it sits close after the first hour, but what a lovely smell to have linger on you for that amount of time. An easy 9/10 frag for me and I'll make sure I grab a back up bottle, as no doubt it'll be discontinued, if it isn't already. K Bye.

I got this as a sample and fell in love with it. After a week of having it I wanted a bottle but couldn’t see myself paying $175 retail for it. I was randomly scrolling last night and saw Macys had a flash sale on it as a gift set that included a 3oz bottle and a 1oz travel spray for $95. Pulled the trigger quickly. What a steal. Distinct, Fruity and Commanding is how I’d describe this. Starts off with that black raspberry then dries down to a woody black musk.The leather is present but it’s in the background and doesn’t stick out to me which is a good thing. I don’t pick up any green or herbal notes like people are saying. It lasts atleast 7 hours on my skin and is eternal on clothes. I love it. It’s a hybrid of fragrances but it’s so unique. A perfect 3 season signature scent. 9.2/10 ⭐️

This is a really great fruity/leather fragrence with a fresh appeal. It's so addictive. Very high quality scent with a stylish/unique bottle that looks great displayed. I would say on me it had moderate projection within a few feet, making it versatile for both office/formal and casual wear. I'd say even though people say its a 3 season frag, it is ideal for year round even since it is fresh enough for summer with very little heaviness that wouldn't be overpowering in heat. Something interesting that I found is that it reminds me a lot of Montblanc Explorer but with a raspberry note instead of citrus, I'm surprised no one has pointed that out. You can find a 100 ml bottle of this for a great price on discounters (under $70). Definitely pick up a bottle for yourself!

I do get some similarities to Tuscan Leather, but this fragrance is amazing in it's own right. It's very powerful with strong sillage and longevity. The opening is a raspberry leather, the mid and the dry down have the leather and birch come out more with the woods and the musk. Mid and dry down still have the fruitiness. Thyme and saffron through the whole life of the fragrance. here's also a "watery leather" aspect I get in a good way, it helps keep it from being just a cool weather fragrance. This is spring fall and maybe even summer appropriate. I do not get aventus at all. It's like people calling every pineapple fragrance an aventus clone. Leather+Birch water doesnt mean aventus. Aventus in 2024 smells generic, this smells much better than aventus

Look, I get it. Your'e a luxury luggage company. You don't want to be known for having a cheap cologne line. You spend what I assume is a good amount of money outsourcing to some fragrance house and they bring you back this scent. It's an excellent scent. Something that I think can be worn in just about any climate or situation. But then it comes time to price it. Like I said, I get it. You don't want to sell $50 cologne. But where did you get $175 from? That puts it in the same price bracket with other colognes that it can't compete with. Overall, I like it. I think an acceptable price would be around $100. I know its new and hasnt hit discounters yet but when it does, I will buy a bottle. I would not recommend Tumi 19 degrees at its current MSRP.

Pretty much an instant love for me. As I read the notes, I feel like I can perceive most of them, but overall, it's rasberry with an airy leather vibe, and it's freakin' awesome. I don't have Aventus (orginal or Absolu), but this doesn't come off like CDNIM or other clones of Aventus that I've tried. I can, however, see the resemblence to something like Dumont's Nitro Intense which is supposedly similar to Aventus Absolu. Due to the airyness I think this is quite versatile and can be appropriately worn in most occassions throughout the year. The price has come way down on this so as to make it an excellent value in my book. Another winner from TUMI. I highly recommend you check it out.

I really love this stuff, I bought a second gift set on sale during this holiday season. What a stellar fragrance! As an Aventus fan boy, this is in no way the same or an attempt at a "clone". This could be worn in all the same situations as Aventus and is very classy and elegant, as well as masculine.(and birchy) Raspberry/suede works so well. I am not a huge saffron guy but the amount in here is perfect for me. As many others here say, this is an easy top 5 all time for me. I have another review down there ↓ around 9/28. Just came back to let anyone know, this is an amazing fragrance and worth checking out!

Very very unique, amazing scent, from the opening all the way to the dry down. It has great performance with moderate projection. Lasts around 7-8 hours on skin and like 24 hours on clothes. Smells great in the air. The raspberry heart tone really gives it a unique scent quality and separates it from other signature scents. In my opinion this screams the next “Aventus”. And honestly I think it’s better. It’s a bit overpriced but it is from a luxury luggage brand Scent - 10/10 Performance - 8/10 Projection - 7/10 Versatility- 10/10

I went back and forth a few times when I was trying it at the store on the paper. My main issue was the price however the high quality of it from the beginning was evident. It was 15% off at Nordstrom and I decided to pull the trigger. It does remind me of Aventus however I find this to be richer as it has more woods and leather on the dry down. On the top you get more raspberry instead of pineapple. This has become my everyday scent since I got it. I can't get enough of it even though I have 50 plus high quality bottles.

The Belk here finally carries this and had it out to test. Loved it immediately. Very woody birchyness is nice. I will be ordering it tonight for sure. Because of some comparisons, I did not want to blind buy. Got Continuum the same way couple years ago. All the Tumi fragrances are good. 11/26/24 I really love this one, may be one of my all time favorites. It has a clean watery accord along with a slight raspberry twang in the dry down, along with a beautiful smooth woodiness. Versatile and opulent. Highly recommend.

This is a nice mix of Creed Aventus, Creed Absolu Aventus, and Tom Ford Tusk and Leather. I really enjoy this one, and this could easily be your signature scent. This is safe for office or dates, as it is just pleasant to smell. Don't know about the compliment factor yet, as I only just got this, and haven't worn it in public yet... but, I would think this would get you compliments. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (9/10) - I really enjoy this one, as it covers a lot of range of scents, and is complex with how it evolves.

This is the one ladies and gents. If you try anything from Tumi, I feel this is their #1. (I don't think I've tried everything but I've tried most from the brand) This is just Mm. I say it's unique, it's complex - you can clearly smell the leather, suede, raspberry and lemon all on top - with the woods and thyme being layered in. Good for almost any occasion if not every occasion, it comes off overall a bit more fresh and not so dark. Super wearable, masculine and addictive. 10/10 recommend.

Perfume extract high quality stuff I red that they source the essential oils for 19 degree from Takasago, a Japanese high quality oil maker. Fun fact: The label on the bottle says made in USA (🇺🇸). Fruity and unique. It sticks to fabric, I can still smell it on my Apple Watch velcro band after 10 days. It does not project like an edt fragrance would which is a good thing, not loud but it’s more of a sneaky type of scent. I like it I recommend it.

This one is very unique. Lots of transitions and every stage is very appealing. This is a notch above designer. Great quality. The final dry down is money. Falls into the sexy AF category. Pure Cat nip to the female nose. Suede/leather/raspberry/Black musk. Definitely not a leather forward fragrance--In the background. Expertly blended. This is more niche quality. Easy signature scent. Not for the juvenile nose.

I have a decant of this, worn it over the last few days, and all I can say is WOW. This is unique to me, the raspberry note especially stands out for me with the other leathers and sandalwood. Lasts easily over 8+ for me, projects pretty well and I can't stop smelling it on me. Seriously addicting. Might have to get a bottle when I run out of the decant.

I have been looking for this kind of scent since the beginning of my fragrance journey. I always wanted to combine aventus with tuscan leather and this is it. It's not 1 to 1 of both layered but it's the idea of both. Its pretty much the aventus stracture, but with tuscan leather notes, but in it own way. One of my favorite spring/fall signature scents.

Opening = Aventus style (Cedrat Boise/Explorer/CDNIM/etc) with a raspberry edge. Mid to dry down = Tuscan Leather/Ombre Leather with a splash of the Aventus style hanging around. Summary = Fresh take on Tuscan Leather/Ombre Leather. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys either style as it is pretty versatile and does pull compliments.

This is a great fragrance. Fresh sparkling raspberry in the beginning that drys down to a smooth leather/suede and woody scent. Very masculine. The Aventus comparisons are kind of absurd. It's like saying apples and oranges are similar because they are both sweet fruits. The community just needs to stop with Adventus comparisons.

I’m not sure exactly how I feel about this one. Yes it lasts (8 hours on skin, DAYS on clothing) It also projects well. It’s a very interesting mix so I’m into that. I just think for my personal preference it’s almost a bit too strong. Tumi seems to have nice fragrances but the current price on this one is too steep.

This is a really good scent to me but oddly enough, it smells like luggage. I can't explain it, and its not a shot at the company for being primarily a luggage company but something about it screams travel gear. Layered with MFK Amyris Homme it becomes magical to me.

My decant leaked a bit and it smelled just like Creed Absolu in the mailer. Once I sprayed it became something different. This is a beautiful scent the leather and ras are well blended. Full bottle worthy off scent and the bottle design

My nose is thanking me. On initial smell it punches you with the bergamot. Then it starts to dry down to a raspberry, suede, that smells like chocolate raspberry ice cream. It’s not offensive, and it’s very smooth.

This is a signature for me, plenty of versatility while smelling niche, and rich. Very slept on fragrance. Back up bottle worthy for me. Tumi fragrances are all solid. Raspberry suede done perfectly.

I got a sample from Macy's. I was blown away when I first smelled this. It smells so good and lasts forever. This stuff is amazing.

Plenty of birch comes thru in this, & this strong birch presence is exactly what I was hoping for with this blind buy. Good stuff!

Very good everyday scent, if u want citrus + leather and raspberry which makes the scent darker this should be your pick.

Got my hands on a couple of decants of this yesterday. This is a nice one, and highly versatile, long lasting, with quality ingredients and blending. Tumi is extremely underrated and has mostly flown under the radar, even though they have produced some of the highest quality designer scents I have had the pleasure of experiencing. I have seen man people compare 19 Degree to Aventus, Aventus Absolu, and Tuscan Leather. I have to disagree and I don't think it closely resemble any of them. To me this smells more like an fruity slightly animalic version of Sauvage Eau Forté but also improved in absolutely every single way. This was released before Eau Forté and is so much more pleasant. It kind of defies conventions because it has some notes that tend to be on the heavier side in most other fragrances, but here they remain light and effervescent. More so than Sauvage Eau Forté, 19 Degree reminds of a tamed down version of Gissah Imperial Valley or Reef 33 and I believe that was the main inspiration here. Performance is very good. This lasts over 8 hours on skin, although the projection is moderate at best. This is safe for all seasons with the exception of the hottest and most humid days. All in all, it's fantastic composition and would make an excellent signature scent. This is probably my third favorite from Tumi after Dusk and Atlas. 87/100 I'm still looking for a full or partial bottle. If anyone is interested in swapping in the US, let me know!

There’s a niche fragrance called Vespero that people swear is a blend of Aventus and Tuscan Leather. People also say that about 19 Degree. Funny enough, these two smell nothing alike! I can see why people compare 19 Degree to Tuscan Leather derivatives (similar red fruit) and Aventus (fresh dark musky) but they shouldn’t be your only reference points. When many people notice an isolated note in common with a very popular release, the similarities become overstated. I’m only mentioning this because a lot of people are here seeking alternatives/clones. I only smelled Aventus Absolu once briefly, but the wearing experience of 19 Degree is vastly different than OG Aventus or Tuscan Leather. What it actually is: a bracing berry fruit opening that has a powdery-musky deodorant texture. I don’t get leather, but there is a grainy gunpowder like darkness in the drydown. The overall wearing experience is akin to an elevated Y2K era Montblanc, Adidas, or Calvin Klein sporty clean release crossed with berries from Amouroud and made a bit darker. For what it is, I really like it. Smells fantastic. 8.5/10

The fruity top notes in this are amazing but fade immediately. Then you are left with the suede/leather mid that I think is the worst part of fragrance. The dry down makes up for it and is very nice and strong and some of the top notes peak back out once the mid has died down. This is very long lasting fragrance reminiscent of leathery Aventus. I sampled it at the mall on the back of my hand one day and didn’t fall in love with it but over the next week it was still on my hoodie cuff and it smelled so much better dried down and seeing how strong and long lasting it was I ended up buying it. Definitely recommend if you like Aventus but want a new spin on it. 8/10

This is a raspberry suede leather bomb. At first spray it opened synthetic sweet raspberry and I was really unsure how this would go. I kept smelling my arm and hadn’t left the house all day wondering if this was good or not. I waited a few days, spritzed on 5 sprays, and went out in Manhattan all day and it blew me away how good it smelled with some spring air on it. It has a subtle spice that catches the wind and the deep leather notes soak up that sweet rasperry and make it tart and pop. 6 hours outside it’s going to become a skin scent. Intermittent in and outside I’d say this will last a good 8 hours

First let me say this, it does not resemble Aventus in any way. If ANYTHING, it is a stronger, sweeter, and longer lasting version of Jimmy Choo Man. Fresh, Fruity, Ultra sweet and somewhat heavy. I don’t detect a ton of leather.... But it’s there to round and smooth things out with the musk. For me it’s a 7/10 overall. I won’t purchase Ila full size because it’s so close to other things u have and it is giving me a slight headache between the eyes for some reason. If you like SWEET and FRUITY....that is somewhat heavy and intense...., here ya go.

I have close to 300 perfumes in my collection, and out of everything I own, this one surprised me the most. It’s definitely not what I expected—10/10. What a delightful discovery! Update: Icy, cool, fresh, and clean with a sleek, almost metallic edge. I tried wearing it in the summer, but the sharpness felt too stark in the heat and didn’t sit comfortably. In cooler air, though—autumn or spring—it smooths out beautifully, crisp and refined without being overpowering.

I like this fragrance, but about 20 minutes into wearing it and it seems like all the notes are overshadowed by a woody leather scent. I like leather scents personally so it appeals to me, but for this kind of money there are nicer leather fragrances that will have better performance. I got about 5-6 hours before it became a faint skin scent.

Tried this at an airport so I can only speak for the spray on my hand but right away I got La Yuqawam by Rasasi and all the rest of Raspberry/Leather scents out there. Very safe scent, of course it smells good and you can’t go wrong with that scent combination but it’s overused. Also, for an “extrait” its performance is moderate.

tried this on at a tumi store in an airport, really loved it that first spay. picked up a bottle very soon after, now smelling it on me, it has a peanut buttery note in there, and now that i've got that in my head, i can't not smell it. it's not bad or anything just something that makes me a bit self conscious wearing it.
