Whisper

UNO RVS! 4/3/26 I love this! Was it the temp that kept all this loveliness from me? I only put this on as a light scent for the gym. First spritz in the air I smelled the plum and ink from the rose & thought, ‘oh that’s nice. Too bad it will disappear soon.’ But it did not. In the car I had a comfortable bubble. And then at the gym as I warmed up, this warmed up. It just BLOSSOMED! This is a soft seduction: plum & rose over a bed of moss. It rained earlier, it is 57 degrees (feels like 52) partly cloudy. Now I feel as though this was a steal because I bought 100ml/$65 at SO AVANT GARDE. I thought I wasted my money but no, I won the blind buy game! And DO NOT BUY THIS FOR A NUN OR YOUNG PERSON- I am turned on right now! This will seduce & entrance- only a person mature enough to handle this power should wield it. A person caught in this bubble would think, ‘this person is nice & all, nice smile not too special... but why do I want to lick them?’ OG RVW 2/25/26: Intimate. UNISEX. This would fit a nun best- it is barely there and has no personality. Also, I smell amber underneath everything. As it dries down the rose fades even more- to a WHISPER!!

This is a beautiful Rose perfume. Nothing new that we haven’t smelled before in a Rose perfume. It has a fruity component but the rose is prominent. If you like Delina La Rosee you will like this. If you don’t have Delina La Rosee and don’t want to pay the price for Delina get this one. This is not as sweet as Delina La Rosee but it does have a sweet/fruity aspect to it and the slight sweetness allows you to wear Whispers in any season in my opinion. This is a sexy subtle rose. It’s not your garden fresh real rose that is what makes it so appealing to me. The moss gives the green note but it’s smooth. This has moderate silage at arms length. It last about 4 hours if sprayed on my skin and clothes.

I like the scent. The rose note is prominent in this perfume. I'm not a rose lover for my fragrances, but the rose blends well in Whisper. I think it's a safe blind buy and safe for work. A nice every day perfume.

Sweet, soft rose w/ a fruity note. Really pretty but not wholly unique. Even so, as a rose lover, I would reach for this at a more reasonable price.

The composition features a sweet rose elegantly draped over a mossy, woody base. Despite the advertised oud note, its characteristic richness and complexity are conspicuously absent. The prominent woody element that emerges bears the unmistakable signature of Iso E Super, not the deep, often resinous, aroma of genuine oud. While the resulting scent is not inherently flawed, it gives the impression of striving for an identity it doesn't fully achieve.

Tumi Whisper is definitely a Rose fragrance. It changes so much as it dries down, it's kind of crazy. On me....It started out smelling very much like a traditional Rose fragrance. Not powdery, not 'old lady' Rose, but it felt classic. It then changed into an almost jammy Rose as things blended with the fruits, and I found it to be almost too sweet and Rosy. Then it felt too Woody as the Oud set in..almost sharp, but not quite. But thankfully that didn't last too long and the Woody tones blended into the sweetness. For a while it had this really nice kind of woody, Incensy, clean, Rose vibe, that reminds me of some other Rose scent I've smelled but can't remember. Maybe Rosefire by Hermetica? It kind of reminded me of Sans Voir from Mind Games, with the Woody, Incensy quality, but it wasn't that. Something like MFK A La Rose but with more going on than the freshness that A La Rose has. It eventually started drying down with everything blending together so beautifully, I can't even describe it. It's Rosy, but not too Rosy, with hints of wood, and the fruity nuances just under the surface, but it doesn't dry down to a fruity scent. It's indescribable and beautiful. Definitely worth a try if you like a modern Rose scent.

Rosy and mossy scent. It reads mature...like something from the 90's or even from the 80's. It is ok but no something I want to wear. The light pink color of the bottle is deceptive, this is more serious and formal ...almost like a version of Chanel No. 5. I think it is the moss. The moss always gives me the impression of scents from the past, scents that you have perceived on grandmothers and beloved aunties. A sample is enough for me.

I see the comparison to Delina and I get it, but I like this much better. Delina is too sharp and floral for me. Whisper is muted, more fruit and the rose is there, but it’s softer. This draws me in, whereas Delina repels me. There’s also a powdery note to this on the dry down that gives it a coziness. I’ve also got Utopia from Tumi. So far, I’m really impressed with the quality of Tumi fragrances.

Whisper is an airy, fruity rose that dries down woody and slightly earthy, almost like an expensive lotion on the skin. The rose begins to smell peppery, not as sweet, but I swear this has a ghost lychee in the mix- and no, smells nothing like Delina to me. Whisper brings to mind Sisley perfumes, it’s feminine but not pink or girly.
