Fraise Bonbon

The latest addition to Australia’s Chemist Warehouse, Fraise Bonbon is a Scrumptious authentic smelling strawberry ice cream for the nostrils. Good balance of tangy, and creamy. For $20AUD I definitely recommend— this gourmand is a quick fix for the senses. About as good and bad to one’s stomach as treating yourself to a cheap but tasty semi-artificial, semi-real strawberry dessert but replace stomach with your nose and you get the picture. It goes to show you don’t need to spend hundreds of bucks for a nice scent. Yes, at this price quality is a... really mixed bag— but you can’t go wrong with dessert once in a while, especially if your olfactory Fraise Bonbon dessert is exactly like a light 6.8/10 made-in-the-city parfait. With this price? The usual drugstore perfumes can’t even. And just like ice cream, the scent melts away quicker than usual (to me) but the good sillage is also, thankfully, included. Delightful fragrance. Bought for my 13 year old daughter and she adores it. Totally appropriate fragrance for young teens. It’s sweet but not sickly or overbearing. Smells of strawberry and vanilla ice cream with a little fresh strawberry tartness. It’s smooth and creamy but the strawberry is fresh until the end. Long lasting without huge projection which is what I like in a perfume as a migraine sufferer. I hate drowning in others unbearable screechy space invading fragrances. Really well blended. Gorgeous bottle and packaging. Special affordable gift for a young teen. Watch eyes light up as they unbox and take their first stiff. This range of fragrances make me happy.

Groundbreaking? - Not exactly. Exquisitely juicy, delicious, and sweet? - Absolutely. This fragrance is the most succulent scent I have ever encountered. It's almost as if you could drink the aroma. It's just perfect for summer! It envelops me in a marvelous essence of ripe, sweet strawberries laid upon a luscious base of whipped cream and vanilla. It's the quintessence of a girly perfume. I am a huge fan, especially considering the price point. Of course, one should not expect a perfume that lasts all day or projects a powerful sillage. But, you will certainly find yourself enveloped in your own little blissful bubble of delightful, sweet, and feminine indulgence.

Very very cute, the perfect youthful sweet (mostly synthetic) strawberry cream smell, my mother says it smells like strawberry yogurt and it really does! I’ve also seen people say that it gives that nostalgic 2000s strawberry smell and it does hit right home, very comforting honestly, but I don’t think you should blind buy this though and actually go smell it yourself first. Rating 9/10, probably my most fav in my collection currently

A gourmand that actually is as it describes......sweet, strawberry, and creamy. Silage is wild and longevity is good. There will be some faux sophisticated people who will say "these tutti delices are cheap and silly", but who cares? They are low calorie and delicious. My husband reckons this strawberry bonbon variety makes his mouth water. I'm not sure if thats a good thing!

so so so nice, but as nice as it is the scent does not last as long as i'd like. i layer it with the so...? strawberry & cream body mist, and i've noticed that it *seems* to last longer since they're pretty much the same scent. i definitely think it's more suited for colder climates as it feels like a warmer scent to me. but it may depend on the person.

Big surprise here, this is ridiculously good for the price. It was bought for my eight-year-old but don’t let the kids cutsey packaging fool you. This is a perfectly acceptable blast of strawberry deliciousness for grown-ups also. Smells like happiness. Because this was surprisingly great, I bought the vanilla version also and It’s also a big thumbs up.

it smells EXACTLY like a strawberry tart, no joke. The sillage is pretty strong, and my friend even said she could smell it from across the room. But it doesn’t really last long :( Smells really similar to the So...? Strawberry Milkshake body mist but a little more creamy.

Smells EXACTLY like the bonbons on the picture. I love it, but the price is kinda over the top because its longevity is like 10-ish minutes (yes, even on clothes). Love the scent, hate longevity.

A little known (in the UK) cheap gem for me, which I purchase whenever I'm in France. Sure, it's juvenile and somewhat artificial, yet it's wonderfully pleasant and it lasts very well on my skin and clothing. I get strawberry sweets, sugar, vanilla and some slight creaminess throughout the day when wearing it. It reminds me of my favourite sweet, strawberry Fruitellas, which is why I adore this fragrance. It's one for the inner child and the sweet tooth. All contained in a little pink cupcake shaped bottle. Perfect!

I'll have to wear it out one day and see how it plays on my skin but upon first spray I get a very clean artificial strawberry toy scent. Not really picking up vanilla or whipped cream or even musk. I honestly would layer this with Burberry Her Elixir or Kayali Boujee Marshmallow to bring a more forward strawberry and tame the heavy powder in those scents. Overall okay scent so far!

I like this but it's just okay. It smells exactly like Pink Chiffon from BBW. That aspect makes it a little disappointing because I've had Pink Chiffon and Pink Vanilla Kiss from Body Fantasies. So I was hoping for something different. It's not very strong or long lasting either. I could've gotten this same smell for $8-15, but this was around $22.

pretty weak and doesn't last long, HOWEVER. it smells like a jolt of strawberries at the first spritz and i like spraying it just for that hit of strawberries. i don't get any alcohol scent from it thankfully so it's fine to reapply at your leisure. got it for only 8 dollars so i'm happy with it.

so delicious like strawberries and cream and i always ger compliments! when you first buy it it smells a bit sickly like candyfloss, but if you let it sit for a couple of months it is so beautiful and creamy.

Smell like Alpenliebe Cream Strawberry candy which is pretty good. It has soft projection and moderate longevity.

The dry down is pretty linear and the scent is straightforward; which could make it perfect for layering if the fragrance itself weren’t so weak. The longevity is very short and the sillage intimate, so overspraying is greatly needed/welcomed! The most noticeable notes for me are strawberry and vanilla, but more so a synthetic/candied sort of strawberry. It smells reminiscent of a sugary kid’s perfume you’d find at a 99¢ store, not to yuck anyone’s yum. Be that as it may, it’s not too bad? It is still a fun and uplifting fragrance, very girly and not too offensive. Not sure if this could be considered entirely gourmand because of how artificial the strawberry and vanilla smell. To sum it up, I’d describe the scent to be a watered down, sugary and synthetic strawberry with a side of vanilla; not super creamy or musky.

The musk hit me first, along with the strawberry, but much more overpowering, to the point where I had to move my hand away from my face and take a few deep breaths of air. Very unpleasant beginning, but after a while it settled into a much softer and sweeter scent. Went from a 1/5 to a 3/5. The musk comes and goes and kinda ruins it for me, and the vanilla was very weak. Strawberry completely overpowered. Fades into a musky almost marshmallowy scent very quickly. Which is disappointing because I was into the strawberry and hoped the musk would die down but the opposite happened. Final rating would be 2/5, after that slight hiccup where it smelled much nicer for a bit.

The scent itself is true to it's name-- extremely sweet and candy-like, more cotton candy adjacent than strawberry to me but still a very strong sweet smell. My only issue with this perfume is it's performance... ABSOLUTE BLASPHEMY!! I'll spray like 3 sprays on myself and then after like, an hour I'd have to reapply! Terrible, absolutely terrible I tell you. Anyways, if you're looking to smell like candy for over an hour DON'T buy this perfume because the scent just immediately disappears.
