Roots of Kente

Smells like a combo of Brecourt Farah and Kayali Vanilla. The amber vibes from Farah and brown sugar from Kayali. It’s really good, will be amazing in fall & winter.

I swear this has spices in it. It's a very warm brown sugary vanilla scent. I like it, but I don't think it's groundbreaking. Not FBW for me.

While I can appreciate the quality of this fragrance, it’s definitely not for me. If you like very sweet gourmand fragrances, this might be your jam. It’s way too sweet for me personally.

Very sweet, very warmly-spiced vanilla. I just don't love this type of spice in perfume. I feel like I smell like a 90s bathroom with too much autumn potpourri put out. I would find this scent offensive in any weather over 65F.

This smells like straight up play-doh on my skin. I get none of the notes listed.

Not a fan. Smells of syrup and I can’t get past that.

Brown sugar playdough ! Really don’t like it at all ! Not worth the hype

Omg!!! This smell so delicious first spray I get a gooey melted brown sugar and cacao. The brown sugar almost comes of as melted caramel. The added aldehydes gives it that slight freshness by stopping it from becoming sickly sweet. Midway I get slightly toasted Tonka bean and sandlewood peaking through then this dries down beautifully in to a creamy vanilla and amber scent. I don’t normally go for this scent profile but oh my I am glad I took a chance and purchased this. This is a delicious niche gourmand fragrance to my nose and I can smell the quality in this fragrance it is well blended, perfection 😍😍😍😍😍 10/10

I was so excited to get this discovery set after seeing so many comparisons to Kayali’s Vanilla 28 which I adore. Unfortunately this smells absolutely nothing like that to me. Not even the brown sugar aspect. All I get from this is brown sugar playdough. I suspect it’s the heliotrope as that note commonly makes fragrances resemble playdough to my nose. Needless to say, I wasn’t a fan of this. Definitely worth getting your hands on a decant or the discovery set if you can stomach the cost of shipping to see for yourself how you like it.

This is the same vanilla vibe you get from bianco latte BUT it never goes into smelling like bianco latte thank god imean bl is beautiful but I'm tired of everything smelling like it. So it goes in the direction but won't be redundant. I get bl mixed w TF vanilla sex that almond tonka and kayali vanilla 28 and vanilla voyage and Fugazzi vanilla haze all combined to get this. It's good it's warms sweet brown sugar creamy vanilla almonds and coconut

Saying something is not worth the hype is wild because everything isn’t for everybody. It’s not hype to someone who loves something. Just say it wasn’t for you. I like it - it definitely gives brown sugar and I am playing around with different body oils to wear under it. Not to mention my bottle leaked a little from Stele NYC and they were kind enough to send me a whole new bottle while letting me keep the original one. I am a customer for life.

OH. I'M in Love ❤️ Yes it's syrupy. Yes it's outstandingly sweet. But I like it. Sometimes, I wanna swimm in sugar. Sapiently armoniously constructed sugar. Elegant sugar. And can be layered w divine smokyness. Nice one 👍
