PROEM

Proem is for clean girly girls who want to smell like candy. It’s syrupy-sweet but somehow not cloying (and I’m usually sensitive to cloying fruity florals). I love the rhubarb and pink florals, but the lychee is strong all the way through and keeps it a little too candy-like for me. It projects HARD while still reading as “clean"—fresh and sweet rather than sultry or creamy. I think it’s a nice creation, just not for me. Somehing with this DNA, but a touch less lychee-forward and a bit creamier would be perfect. Edit: Wow, I take back what I said about the loud lychee—two hours into wear, this settled into a gorgeously balanced scent: the lychee takes a backseat (though it's still there), the rhubarb comes forward more to balance out the sparkling fruity floral blend, and I don't even know if I'm imagining it, but I get the slightest hint of grounding creamy pistachio. Gorgeous. I just bought a 100ml from Bluemercury

Im SO happy they finally put Proem on Fragrantica. I absolutely adoreeee her. Yes, she is very similar to Delina, very rose-forward, but I find this soo much better. Its sparkling, clean, fruity, juicy. I don't normally like green fragrances, but this borders right on the line of green & fresh. It's feminine, bright and bubbly. Beautifully well done. I cant stop smelling myself when I wear this. So juicy with the rhubarb & lychee. The pistachio adds a sweetness to round this out. I have alot of fragrances and this is in my Top 5. Absolutely PERFECT for spring. If youre not a rose-lychee-rhubarb fan though, this wont be your cup of tea. Oh, and this lasts ALL DAY - she is eternal on clothes & skin. Highly recommend!! I sampled at Blue Mercury before I purchased a full bottle.

I love this one. It's an in-your-face fruit that lasts all day and projects (sorry, has sillage) but not enough to be offensive. Enough to have confidence. It's my go to work scent because it's so versatile. I'm no rose fan but the fruit balances this and, after a bit, it turns a little dirty. I have other fruits (Hermes Rhubarbe, Jo Malone, Joop All About Eve)and they take a backseat. Yes I can overspray but sometimes I want to make my presence known and this does that, without being an oud, vanilla, or big floral (looking at you j'adore).

This is different from Delina for sure, Delina is much more sweet and jammy, this is more bright and I get a slight nutty aspect from the pistachio. I get the vetiver more heavily here, but not in a masculine way at all, it compliments it beautifully. It's strong enough to get good projection, but not as in your face as Delina. Delina is more fluffy pretty girl, this is cool girl. I think this could be worn more often, it's worth having both

What Delina should have been. It’s a beautiful rose/lychee scent. If you are not a fan of Delina but want a rosey fruity scent with some character, try this. If you like Jerome Epinette’s creations, his signature is all over it.
