É impressionante como Ylang/Rosa, Gálbano e Noz-moscada combinam tão perfeitamente, esse perfume em mim traduz apenas isso com bastante almíscar. Imaginei que ele coçasse o nariz, mas ele é sutil e confortável, tem um ar datado mas não senti aldeídos e nem talco, sinto um perfume assabonetado chic e concordo com a colega que o comparou com hidratantes antigos tipo Monange e Davene, lembra mesmo (principalmente o Monange). Diferente do Indra, este durou mais tempo na minha pele, o Indra dura mais aplicando na roupa. Pra quem é entusiasta do vintage, 0 açúcar e cheirinho de banho, o Isa dá pra dar blind, amo muito! My mother used to wear this when I was a little girl, then a few years ago, she gave her bottle (which still contains some perfume) to me. Spicy scent, but not strong. Instead, I smell something warm and tender. It does smell a little bit soapy at the first time, but it fades after only a few minutes. There is a hint of flowers, too, but to me, they are really faint compared to the spices. Lovely, elegant, nostalgic perfume. Every time I wear this, I remember my childhood time.

This will bring you right back to the days of wearing Faberge Babe. Though it's been decades since I wore Babe, I have tried to pick up a vintage bottle here and there but they are too far gone off. This is exactly the scent I recall wearing to middle school. The closest "dupe" of any perfume dupe I have ever tried. I don't believe this is being made any longer. If you know someone who loved Babe, I recommend having them try this while its still available and so affordable !

Isa is definitely a vintage scent! Not outdated, however. Not to me, anyway. To me it means comfort, like an embrace. The soapiness envelops me, and the spiciness warms me, without bothering myself or anyone. It is a timeless scent, in my opinion, and I shall definitely keep on repurchasing it, as long as it's around. I simply love it.

the bottle in picture is a little different from what i remember in 90's it was flat narrow square...are these the same?! i used to love it so much,used up four bottles!

What a beautiful scent! I was stopped from buying it for a long time, because I read a lot that it smells like a cleaner with a bleach. But happily where a cleaner, where a bleach?! I can smell a nutmeg (which I like so much!) and delicate flowers with light spices at the background. It's very warm and positive scent. Sometimes it reminds me of Chanel No. 5. But Isa has its own, individual features. For example, nutmeg and spices provide Isa with its own "recognizable face". I would call it “modern retro”, since it is a little bit retro, but even today it is really appropriate and smells up-to-date. Longevity and sillage is almost all day long. Great purchase for reasonable money!

Je le porte de temps à autre, non pas parce qu'Isa est un grand parfum mais surtout parce qu'il me rappelle mon adolescence et ses premiers rendez-vous amoureux. C'est le temps où l'on choisit avec soin sa tenue et on se vaporise abondamment de son parfum acheté au supermarché parce qu'à cet âge là, on est fauché comme les blés. On espère ainsi prendre dans ses filets le garçon que l'on aime en secret depuis longtemps et qui daigne enfin s'intéresser à vous. Belle madeleine de Proust ! Se trouve très facilement sur le site français de la marque à un prix plus que raisonnable (6,90 €) pour un floriental qui offre une tenue et un sillage remarquables, surtout par temps chaud.

I used to wear it in my fifteens, good memories =) I have to agree, not launched in the 2000's as mentioned, 'cause in the mid 90's it was a hit here in Brazil. Sweet nutmeg, powdery notes used to last for about four hours on my skin and left a great smell on my clothes.Girlie scent!

I bought a bottle for $7 as a blind buy and though I don't like being so wasteful, I threw it away as soon as I smelled it! Another 'old lady' scent. Very dry. To me it smelled musty,no spice, bitter, linear.

Soap! Soap with the hint of flowers. Very disappointing!

Ugh, it's a soapy floral. It reminds me of an exact dupe of Brocade from Avon, which i do have. I bought it because of someone's review on here, saying that it smelled just like Cotillion perfume. No way. I did not smell any spiciness, whatsoever.

Finally, my beloved Isa is in the database! I fell in love with this perfume when I was a student in a music school, and my piano teacher wore it.She was a very dark, petite and elegant brunette, and this scent was in my mind inseparable from her. It is very sharp and unusual.I think it smells like a bed of spicy daffodils on a cold spring day.In a way, Isa reminds me of Anais Anais, but more rich and without the white-flowered serenity of the latter.It makes an impression, however, I think that it`s love it or hate it scent. It`s a shame it`s so hard to find. It used to be very cheap, too:(((

Aldehydes don't appear in the listed notes, but this is very aldehydic. It reminds me of Lady Stetson, but not as deeply floral. It also reminds me of Avon Cotillion cologne. That vintage aldehydic smell. This is an extremely light fragrance; you could apply it after a bath and twenty minutes later apply something else without any clash.

95% dupe for Babe by Faberge. *Awraq Al Oud smells very similar, just missing the citrus* Takes me back to the late 70's, early 80's...I would get a gift box for my birthday or Christmas... Memories of roller skating, wearing courdoroy jeans, puka shells, Hawaiian shirts, baseball T's with Iron on emblems, VANS tennis shoes......lol!

Don't last to much, but smell beautiful and it's chip. I don't detect a strong presence of spices, but the nutmeg part combined with the floral notes is strong. I think is a sleeptime fragance, is so tender and sweet. Anyways i prefer Indra From Jaques Saint Pres, i think is more complex and lasting.

If you like sparkling aldehydes with a rosy touch, powdery soapy, happy, inexpensive and lighthearted, this is for you. The notes are simple but freshly timeless. I feel no sweetness in it, it’s like a nice cold sunny springtime morning.

I remember my mother used to wear this Isa perfume in 80's - 90's ( thought this site wrote Isa was launched during the 2000's ) smells nice similar to Gloria Vanderbilt. It's hard to find this item.

Isa is romantic, very dry, for those who want a nostalgic floral. A good linear composition, powdery roses almost all the time ... Very cheap and nice, the bottle is very retro.
