Lily Prune Love

I got this fragrance as a birthday present, and I sure don't mind that. It is a sweet and soft fragrance and I think it is perfect for a Summer or Spring day. Both Sillage and Longevity are moderate -- something that suits me just fine. :) Though, after I had this perfume for quite some time, the longevity and sillage started decreasing and that was a shame, 'cause when I smell the empty bottle, it still smells sweet and right and it was too bad that I did not feel I got any fragrance out of it the last many times I applied it. Maybe it was just my nose and/or brain that had gotten used to the scent. I've been complimented on my nice smell while wearing this, so I cannot rule out that I might repurchase it again sometime.

I bought this for $10 AUD the other day at my local chemist. It was a blind buy, and I bought it initially because of the price, the cute bottle design and the fact I collect too many perfumes...it is a subtle scent. It wears easily on me, and it is surprisingly warm and feminine, as the bottle predicts. On first spray it is a bit alcohol-y, but it warms up on the skin...I can't smell the cherries as much as I can smell the plum and the floral notes. These flowery smells only last for about ten minutes, and then it blooms into soft, lovely musk sharpened by the lotus flower...overall a cheap, not over-powering fragrance which will give you value for money. An excellent choice for a gift; simple and inexpensive.

I agree, the bottle is cute, but I confess I'm not normally the "cute" type. I may be a little old (at 34) for this fragrance, I do tend to go for the more complex orientals usually so liking this was a bit of a surprise to me. I think, perhaps it's that "new love" image I described, allowing me to "shuck off" my experienced sniffer persona for a little while and relish being light hearted and naive :D Even as teenagers, we weren't all naive and happy but that's they joy of trying new fragrances, we can at least simulate the experience.

This is a very beautiful fragrance for a summer day. There is a nice balance between the fruity and floral scents when it is first applied and as it dries down, the vanilla scent gently insinuates itself, followed by the sandalwood. I find that it lasts very well on my skin, easily 6 hours. This perfume is very appropriately named, the scent is very romantic and pretty, it really brings to mind the image of the first flush of young love on an early summer picnic.

I agree with Lyndale this is a fragrance for warm weather, but I can't see so much dept. It is light and fruity, with I suppose something like mandarin in the fruityness which isn't close to my heart. That piercing opening fades away quickly though, but I am still putting it up for swap. I got it as a birthday present: I think it is a perfect gift, though not for somewhat more experienced sniffers, haha. Maybe more for naive happy women (or even little girls), because the bottle is cute and it is a hard not to like scent.

I randomly tested this perfume while waiting for a friend to pick up hers. Cute bottle, interesting color, will the scent be as interesting? Well.. I sprayed it on my skin, waited to dry, sniffy-sniffy, and.. OMG.. it struck my nose hard. There's a strong alcohol scent that wrapped all the other notes, and I had to wait for quite some time until it faded. It got slightly better after, indeed. But, it just did not match my nose, and probably just did not match my skin :(

I bought this for £1.20 on eBay and I am so glad I did (I'm also glad I have fragrantica to check up on things first)! I love the lightness and the beautiful fragrance. I can smell rose and musk with vanilla and fruit. The bottle is so cute as well. It lasts very well but with little silage to speak of! Greatly inoffensive for work. Definitely a day-time scent. Would work with any clothes and on young or old!

when i bought it for the very first time...i was not so sure but then i want something for everyday use so i didn't pay much attention while buying it..but then when i used it, i really really loved this perfume...its soft, elegant,and nice mix of floral and fruity.... i wouldn't say its the best...but its okay for an everyday use.

This was my elementary go-to scent because it's soft, floral, and fresh. I loved it and totally appropriate for school or being out all day. Lasting power isn't amazing but for the price of this - the scent is really quite memorable.
