Mini Vanille

I got this as a blind buy because I couldn't get my hands on a tester anywhere and it took me some time to fully discover the scent. When I first sprayed this, I regretted it for a bit because to me the 1st spray smelled a lot like orchid apricot vanilla with a humid-like scent (probably from storing for a long time). I decided to spray it a few more times because I could definitely see the potential of it being like flowerbomb and I'm happy I did that. This perfume does indeed smell a lot like flowerbomb, it's like a light version of it (toned down and a bit less sweet like @assra said). I did a side by side comparison with the original FB and this is the conclusion that I came to. The other difference is that Mini vanille has a slight orchid/apricot combo opening. This was a successful blind buy and I will definitely purchase it again, especially for the cheap price. EDIT: The other day I decided to smell Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid and I realized that Mini Vanille smells much more like ruby orchid than the OG flowerbomb. I can even say that they're dupes. It has that strong peach fruity note that ruby orchid has.

What a monster! Purchased for what translates to USD2.81 (almost only 10 cents per ml!), this perfume is surprisingly a showstopper. What starts off as a very aggressive, woody scent soon dries down into a sweet, vanilla sillage-bomb. I kid you not, someone nearly 3 meters away from me smelled this, and I had only sprayed it once on my wrist. Unbelievable. Such a complex, well-engineered scent. A hidden gem.

It might be on the cheap end of the price scale but I am finding this to be a really pleasant day-time scent for at work. On me, the top notes are a slightly caramelly, fruity vanilla, with a pleasant woody dry-down which lasts well but has minimal sillage, so it is not too intrusive for co-workers. I'd rate it as a lighter-weight, simplified dupe of Hypnotic Poison, which is reason enough to enjoy.

I love this fragrance... it's very bold and on me it lasts for ages, I can still smell it on the next day and to me it smells perfect. Very gourmand vanilla and caramel smell. Reminds me of baking and cookies, a feel good smell.

I tested it yesterday and as I said before for other minis, they cost around 3,50 EUR (5$) and for that price this is not a bad dupe for ... drumroll ... FLOWERBOMB! It's Flowerbomb in the drydown, not all the way. Staying power is weak but you can take the tiny bottles everywhere and re-apply. I would say these minis are for teens (or teen-alikes) who want the real thing but don't want to pay top $$$

I like it suprisingly, and I'm not a fan of vanilla scents. I don't smell much vanilla in this at all. I agree that it is similar to flowerbomb, but a more toned down, less sweet version of it which I enjoy even more. Imagine flowerbomb on your scarf and jacket a couple hours after having applied it.

I wonder there is no patchouli listed. For me its mostly patchouli and hint of red peppery notes. I agree, this does resemble less sweet Flowerbomb. It stays close to skin which makes it perfect even for office without inducing headaches around. I can't really detect vanilla here.

I don ́t have any problem with this scent - Far from it. I like this sweet little scent, it lasts all day, smells enjoyable like Vanilla pudding. Not cheap at all.

You get what you'd expect from this perfume. Smells nice. This is the only "Mini" perfume I sometimes wear outside.

I ordered this fragrance from Amazon since it was heavily discounted, even though it's only 25ml. In the drying it has something that does not quite convince me and I would say that it is the strong smell of patchouli. Fragrantica notes are wrong. I update info according to Ulric de Varens website: Olfactory family: Woody Vanilla Top note: apricot leaves, fresh mango, tangerine Heart note: vanilla orchid, yellow freesia, white peony Base note: patchouli, bourbon vanilla, tonka bean If you are looking for a versatile vanilla aroma, this is not it, it smells more like patchouli to me, even reminding me of the Patchouli perfume from Reminiscence, which is a bomb. This is small but not harmless, it is another bomb but in a mini size. At the moment it is a love hate relationship.

I used this a lot as a child/teen. I just smelled it again after years and I don't get what I liked about it. It smells plasticy af. I also think my opened bottle turned bad because I had it for so long so I will be throwing it out.

This is more of a floral scent than a vanilla, so skip it if you're looking for a vanilla perfume.

I blind bought it for 3 euros, so no tears spilled on this one. Unfortunately this one has an overwhelming woody smell on me. There are a lot of sweet vanilla and fruity notes, but as soon as it touches my skin it screams piece of slightly dried wood. It's too masculine a note for me, but on the other hand all the other notes are very sweet, so I don't know who I'd say this one is for. I blind bought 3 of the mini Ulric de Varens, this one was the miss.

my grandpa gifted it to me when I was younger, I don't recall myself ever wearing but it's scent is very nostalgic, I remember always thinking that it was too strong and nauseating, I still do. so incredibly strong, straight up vanilla and musk, it's all I can smell, I can't sense any of the other notes, it's a nose scrunching perfume, just so so strong

I dont think it smells vanilla at all,it is very sharp and smells to much apricot..

I got a lot of patchouli, it’s very earthy and kinda sweet. But a dirt kind of scent, really weird put together with the fruitiness. I don’t really get any vanilla, but then I didn’t really wear it for long. The notes on fragrantica are not correct, please see the real notes in the review further down.

A very fruity flowery vanilla. The vanilla comes in a mix of Mango, Apricot and Orchid. It's quite pleasant for such a very cheap scent, but don't expect a pure vanilla scent. It's not simply vanilla nor is the vanilla note strong in a singular way.

this fragrance makes me want to puke... really.. it's disgusting! my aunt wears it already years long and every time she goes out, it's a complete disaster..

Call me crazy, to me it smells like a mixture of Angel and Cuir Beluga ; )
