Paris Love

The Paris Collection of the Ulric de Varens have four flankers: fruity/florals (the Secret and the Dream) and the vanilla fragrances (the Chic and the Love). While the Chic is the fresh vanilla version, the Love can be categorized as the Intense version. If you love a strong vanilla scent, the Love can be your favorite. Raspberry makes it sweeter and the powder creates a longevity. They are my favorite spring and summer perfumes. Not so well in terms of sillage, but it is strong enough to enjoy them in hot weather.

This is my first love in a perfume! I discovered this scent in my teens and couldn't fathom something smelling SO GOOD. I was hooked! To me it smells like cotton candy, but balanced. I rarely use this perfume anymore because it's really hard to buy it nowadays and I want to keep it as a treasure. The bottle is HUGE. The smell fades quickly but there will be some notes remaining. When I smell my clothes that I've sprayed this on it smells incredible even after a few days.

I have this for more than a year and today I I sprayed for second time for going for a walk.. I got so many compliments for wearing this and honestly I'm surprised how much people actually like this sweetness.. if you like sweet scents this is a good choice and for that price is excellent! Love it ❤

At first its strong vanilla and raspberry and then it soon becomes marzipan, sweet sweet marzipan. I'm in love. The only minus being it has no lasting power.

It is one of the most beautiful cheapy. Not too much sweet. I am smelling musk. Sweet, soft and powdery. Longevity and silage are ok for the price.

I love it! It's sweet, slight but persistent. Sugar, vanilla and spices (nutmeg for sure). It's a romantic fragrance and somewhat it reminds me my childhood. Surely it reminds me Pink Sugar but more natural and happy. I love this scent... this is a comfort scent for cozy moments (family, friends, sofa, movies...). Suitable for all seasons (even summer).

Sweet vanilla, simple and pleasant to perceive. An uncomplicated, basic composition. It dissipates quickly.

Edit: This is an utter failure of a product. UdV needs to take a page from La Rive on how to make perfumes that actually last more than 15 minutes. A waste of money. Anyway back to the original review: True cotton-candy in a bottle That's how I would describe this fragrance, gourmand & feminine. Sugar cotton-candy vanilla with nutmeg. Starts a bit fresh with raspberry but quickly (within 5 minutes) develops into cotton-candy spice on my skin. Mildly synthetic but inoffensive and delicious during cooler weather. As time goes on it gets deeper with the tonka, sweeter and spicier. 'Paris Love' reminds me of 'Pink Sugar' without all the harsh and citric notes e.g. the burnt caramel. I definitely find this smells classier and more expensive than its inspiration scent too. 100% a fragrance for cotton candy and spice lovers! My only issue is on my skin this scent is VERY fleeting. I literally dose myself in 30 sprays on hair, skin and clothes to get noticeable silage. Doesn't last 15 minutes. But I see this wasn't an issue for other reviewers. So far I do like it, but like 'Sublime' from this brand, this won't be a repurchase from me due to its terrible performance. Edit: I do regret buying a full bottle for $7 because this scent won't stick on my skin or project. 100% recommend for any cotton candy addicts out there! Maybe you'll have better performance experience than me.

I find this very similar to Pink Sugar, only it is much more neutral. There’s no overly dominant licorice, it’s very sweet and with that added warm nutmeg. Like a soft toned down version. I adore cotton candy scents and I do like this one a lot but the nutmeg kinda throws me off. It’s my most used spice after salt in cooking, but it’s kinda weird with the overly sugary notes together

I'm not a huge fan of oriental spice but this looks delicious! Just sweet enough. I'd love to try it as i'm intrigued...
