UDV Star

Ok, I ordered a bottle. Batch # A8391D. This definitely reminds me of Dior Sauvage EDT. An exact replica! How they legally got away with it, I'm not sure. It really hangs in there. Nice scent, really just like DS EDT. I sprayed it on at 4:15pm, it had enormous sillage for about 2-2.5 hrs, then moderate sillage of 2 feet. It's 2:15am. It's still here, still alive, 10 hours later!!! It's really nice and for $18.00, it's a real steal. I'd definitely buy again and have! 💪💪💪 ***Update, I thought it went away at the 5th hour, and my body heat brought it back almost full force! Wow! What is this stuff? I'm surprised that they haven't been sued by Dior yet. Just you watch, -when the word gets out and this place gets sued unfortunately, people will be selling bottles of this for $200 or more a pop on eBay imho. I hope it never happens! Or worse, IFRA...

This one is extreamly similar to Sauvage, although a bit synthetic. For 6 Euros the bottle of 60 ml, you may spray and re-spray yourself, spray your dogs, use as an air freshner, you name it..., and everything with a scent 90~95% similar to Sauvage EDT. The performance is above average with a longevity of 8~10 hours (3 sprays) and a sillage of 2 arms lenght. It projects fairly more than 1.5 hours. It must be the king of the "good but cheapie" category!

It has similarities with Sauvage EDT yes, but carries the Ulric de Varens aromatic DNA. Sure not a clone of Sauvage, it's more like 65% Sauvage EDT + 35% UDV For Men. Opens citrusy but not as sharp as Sauvage's bergamot, here you're gonna get more of that UDV lemon with kind of a pineapple thing, that may be that mandarin + apple that is described above. This citrus keep going to the middle notes with the sage, lavender and a very mild pine note that is a very UDV signature thing. No pepper here. I get patchouli and fir in the bass, but very very light. Leather is what I get the most. Well balanced cheapie, perfomance is light, aromatic, not bass heavy at all and doesn't project much. Modern, versatile, office safe fragrance. For 8 dollars (more than 10 times cheaper than Sauvage EDT) I hardly doubt you'll find any better. I don't like Sauvage myself but this is great for people who love this DNA. It is actually good. Projection: 1h Intensity: ★★☆☆☆ Duration: 6h-8h

I'll keep this short (ish lol), if you like Dior Sauvage but are put off by it's price then you could do a lot worse than purchase UDV Star. Bright, fresh and versatile with good performance at a low price. Smells incredibly similar to the more expensive designer scent, also UDV did a good job with the bottle & sprayer, decent quality for a 'cheapie' Scent (my objective rating-I'm not the biggest fan of Dior Sauvage):7 Scent (If you love Sauvage):9 Performance: 8 (Projects strongly for an hour or so decent sillage for several hours) Longevity:9 (I see someone has already voted 'weak' that sucks for them unless they don't like the scent that is. Even 24 hours later I could smell it on my skin!) Note to admin:Bravo for adding this one, it's nothing unique but might save some folks some pennies!!

SMELL 4/5 Wonderful smell, sparkling initially, after warm, sexy and masculine. The most present notes for me are mandarin orange, patchouli and leather. In my opinion this smell is very similar to Dior Sauvage but more sweet. PERFORMANCE 2/5 Moderate sillage on my skin for about 1 hours...better in clothes. VERSATILITY 2/5 Suitable for spring, fall and winter. Given the poor performance it's suitable for short outdoor. FEEDBACK 2/5 In my experience i've received few compliments. BOTTLE 3/5 VALUE FOR MONEY 3/5 10€ for 100 ml.

Well let me tell you what, i got this for 7Eur. I get somewhat of pineapple smell. In the beginning its synthetic but when you sniff it as the wind blows it smells nice. If you spray it on you clothes it will last for few hrs and girls will tell you that your clothes smell really nice. Its nothing wow, its pleasant, its not bi-sex sweet just right. For 7Eur its nice. Spray on clothes and over- apply with this one.

What a lovely scent. Well-balanced notes to create an optimistic and elegant persona. It turns powdery after a while (not in a bad way). Never offensive. Performance is weak (ain't complaining for such a price). Better save it for intimate evenings and brief outings (like mosque prayers and supermarket shopping). And lastly, when your wife loves it, it's a winner.

Sparkling & much more powdery take on Sauvage EDT. The opening is harsh, but mellows out fairly quicky. A little under arms' length projection, lasts around 5-6 hrs on clothes, a little under 4 on skin alone. Works best in spring & autumn, can't be too hot or cold.

This is to Dior Sauvage is what CDNIM is to Greed Aventus. It smells exactly like Sauvage for less than a third of the price. The longevity is over 8 hours on my skin; projects very well for the first 3-4 hours. Got mine off eBay for under $18.

An ok clone of sauvage with meh longetivity and projection. Smells synthetic but ok for its price. There are better citrus cheapies out there.

I don't see any resemblance to Sauvage in this. All I get from this is the leather, that too really dirty and just unwearable. It just dominates right from the first spray to the drydown. No bergamot, no orange, barely some lavender and sage. Poorly blended, not recommended at all.

Smells pretty bad, good longevity and projection too. For only 8$ it's a decent one.

After reading the reviews, I got so excited I had to find a tester and check it out. I smelled at least five different Sauvage clones and none of them have been as horrible as UDV Star is. Absolutely horrific straight from the first moment I felt its smell on my arm. Put it on a tester paper too, but threw it away minutes later as it smelled just too bad. It's an unbearable and unwearable chemical mixture. Good for the price? Maybe, if you like a potent chemical smell? Is it similar to Sauvage? Absolutely no way!!

It reminds me heavily of the smell inside the boys locker room at the swimming pool I went to as a kid, cheap deodorant and lemon scented automatic room freshener, I really don't like it and It only lasts a couple of hours as a skin scent. That being said, It does remind me of Sauvage; you might find something enjoyable here if you like that one. If we're talking about saving money, it's around 35 bucks where I'm from, not exactly the cheapest, although usually the former goes for around 200usd.

I just bought it today for 7 € (8$) and it's the closest thing I could try to Dior Sauvage, some people say it doesn't smell like it at the beginning but with time bla bla bla... well it smelled like Sauvage since the first second to me (just a little bit kinda more herbal than the original) and then just about 10 minutes before it was completely the original thing, definitely a blind buy if you're looking for Dior Sauvage without the heavy price. 👍👍👍

This is IMO a decent interpretation/inspired by Dior Sauvage fragrance. It's a little more fruity with less sharp pepper. Worth a try, of course, it's not going to be of the same quality as a Dior but it's very good for under 10 euros/100ml.

This is the budget version of Invictus with a better performance. Paco Rabanne pulled a fast one on us.
