Suncrest

It was my absolute pleasure to sample Suncrest by Ulrich Lang at Esxence recently, and I can confidently say it is indeed a divine fragrance. Blessed with a generous spritz by Ulrich himself, Suncrest graced my skin as the first perfume of the day, setting an extraordinarily high bar for the rest of the exhibit. Immediately, I was enveloped in a cloud of smooth, rich peach that was not simply a one-dimensional fruity scent but a nuanced, multidimensional aroma. It's the kind of scent that draws you in and keeps you guessing. The masterful craftsmanship truly shines through in the amber base. The creamy Dreamwood is blended so skilfully it provides an unshakeable foundation for the delightful peach. The comparison to Tom Ford's Lost Cherry is inevitable. Though the two fragrances are unique in their own right, a certain quality and level of craftsmanship connect them. Lost Cherry is a beautiful interpretation of a realistic cherry note. In the same vein, Suncrest is a testament to the realistic, yet whimsically creative, peach note. Though the fruits differ, the essence of creating a believable yet intriguing fruit-based fragrance is similar. If Lost Cherry captures the dark, sensual side of fruit fragrances, Suncrest unveils the brighter, sun-kissed side. It's a truly tantalizing balance, and I commend Ulrich Lang for this beautiful addition to his perfume line.

Wholeheartedly love. This was one of my first "nicer" perfumes, and it's still one of my favorites today. The peach and lemon stand out the most, with lily of the valley and jasmine settling in after no more than an hour of wearing. Very minimal sillage, unfortunately, but it will stick to clothes for months. There is a coat in my closet that still smelled of this perfume after several months of not using it.

Finally a realistic peach that doesn't go the synthetic, sickly sweet or powdery way. Smells like a peach lemonade on a sunny day.

Sweet, juicy peach but not juvenile. Woodsy and musky but not overly much. I love it.

The peach note is edible and realistic. But I wish the base was sweeter to complement it. Instead it is going in a rather musky direction.

Realistic peach with a bit of spice (though that 'spice' might just be my ill-matched body chemistry with cedar), comfortably unisex. Faded a bit too fast to make an impression, but Suncrest was nice while it lasted.

Fades quickly but smells beautiful if a bit strong for me. Fresh peach and florals. Super floral on me for the first few minutes and almost gives me a headache. The dry down is good and more sweet instead of heady.

I don't have much useful to say tbh, I JUST LOVE SMELLING LIKE PEACHES!!! AAAAAAAAA
