Purplecandy

I rarely make blind buys of perfumes above a certain price (let's say around fifty euros). But when I heard Vanessa Caputo present her brand new brand, Ümore, and in particular this Purple Candy Extrait de parfum, my instinct told me to dive in (on Pinalli, which has the exclusivity). The description was too tempting: I love lavender, but I struggle to find it as I say in perfumes... Always too dry, too volatile. In Purple Candy there is this soft and clean aromatic-powdery lavender, similar to how I smell it in the opening of Pour un homme de Caron (which I adore, but it lasts for 5 minutes flat on me, even in the Parfum version 😭). This lavender then fades into a sweet base of cocoa powder and benzoin, that is vanillic and aromatic-balsamic. What can I say? I am a compulsive hoarder of perfumes and now I struggle to find something new, something that amazes me. Purple Candy really blew me away. And its intensity and persistence are also incredible (it honors its nature as an Extrait de parfum). I wholeheartedly recommend it to those looking for a sweet and persistent fragrance, but also airy and "clean", not too gourmand "edible". I'm happy to have it and to be able to wear it in this season that I love so much ❤️.
