Sugar Leather

Magic in a bottle. First Impression: A sweet, spicy leather that feels subtle, warm but not overbearing. I purchased a decant and within a day was searching for a full bottle. The leather is prominent, but enhanced by the cinnamon which is softened by the caramel. It’s warm and inviting. The brand is very unique, their story and packaging could be my favourite in my collection thus far. This is truly unisex and will adapt to how you style it and yourself. You have to wear it, it can’t wear you. Performance: Evolves well, projection, sillage and longevity are all moderate. Would require a re-apply if you wanted this to last into your evening. Price: He isn’t cheap but, but I am sold on the scent profile. Blind buy? If you know you like sweet, warm and leather then yes. Otherwise no. While this is different than YSL Babycat, it’s trying to do a similar thing without the smoke. This blows Babycat out of the water for me. When and how to wear it: Leans fall and winter but I am trying to pull it off on cooler late summer days. More of an evening scent, but depends. Would I wear it to the office, no, would I wear it to a Sunday Brunch or on a day date? Absolutely. Am I going to wear it to the dentist this afternoon...sure am. This layers spectacularly with Diptyque Eau Duelle if you are seeking to add some light incense and vanilla. Will I repurchase when this Nomade runs dry? You bet I will.

The only thing I regret is getting the 25ml travel size! My husband really loves this and for the first time ever (!) would like to share... This a gorgeous spicy, leathery, vanilla, sugar, dream of a scent! It starts with an almost campferous spicyness, continues with a sweet soft leather and ends with a beautiful sugary cinnamon vanilla. I admit, if I was a bit younger, I would imagine (and love!) this on a man, but in today's world I cannot wait to wear this myself in the autumn. I don't think it would be totally out of place for summer evenings either. If the alcohol note is too much for you in Angel's share I would recommend Sugar Leather, the same goes if you have always found leather notes to be a bit too much, in Sugar Leather they form a part of the whole, and despite the name not even the dominant part. I think as with most vanilla based perfumes the longevity will improve as the scent ages, but even a newly opened sprayer will give you a decent scent bubble for a few hours. A must try for lovers of spicy vanillas.

An absolute gem. I did not expect to love this scent as much as I do but holy f**K it's good. The name really says it all, sugar leather. It's a sweet, warm, cozy sugary, cinnamon caramel fragrance laid on top of a soft, worn brown leather. The leather is not too strong infact I actually could do with it being a bit stronger. This is an underrated masterpiece. It JUST borders the line between sweet and gourmand. It is wearable and it is unisex and it is a perfect, awesome fragrance for anyone of any adult age. Think Oajan by Parfums de Marly but take away the apple pie vibe and add soft brown leather and more caramel. Infact really just think of caramel poured onto a sheet of leather, that's this in spray form. Scent: 95/100, ADDICTIVE. Would be 100/100 if the leather was turned up just one notch. I can't recommend this enough to anyone who enjoys a sweet warm cozy fragrance. You don't have to like leather to like this either, it is NOT animalic. So simple, sometimes truly less is more. So, freaking, good.

love, love, love, Gorgeous warm scent, fantastic quality, reminds me a bit of TF Noire pour femme (discontinued) this is smoother though less spicy and ironically easier for a female to wear, this is completely straight down the road unisex though IMO. Facets - Sweet amber, cinnamon, a soft understated leather with a hint of smoke. Agree with most reviews that this will shine in the autumn. UK weather general cooler than most places so I may rock this more than just autumn. A nice scent bubble without knocking people around you off their feet. Well blended, great quality, fabulous from first spray out the bottle. Way to knock it out the park Une Nuit Nomade, Sugar Leather is an absolute blind buy triumph for me! Update - Granted, it is true this brand picks up a lot of youtube hype as pointed out by amanda0727. It's very easy to see which brands do imo. However that being said, this is a great creation and deserves the hype. staying power is long and the fragrance is well blended and not screechy.

Wow indeed!! This is a sugary leather with a slightly smoky touch (emphasis on the word slightly). I have smelled this before but I cannot say where exactly...sometimes, it reminds me of PdM Herod but then, it doesn’t... Regardless, this is a beauty and I am enjoying the different facets this fragrance has. Longevity: e t e r n a l (on my skin). We are talking 24 hours+. Projection: not bad. I am in my own scent bubble 😁 Season: Fall!! 🍁🍂🌻🍄Perfect for when the days grow shorter! Can’t wait to get a full bottle!! Does Sugar Leather remind me of Angels Share? No. Angels Share is fruity/boozy/woodsy. This is Sugary sweet/leathery/spicy. Herod or Oajan? No, but maybe getting closer as far as comparison? All in all, a perfectly unisex and absolutely gorgeous scent I suggest to all who love warm, sugary and leathery scents. Sampling before purchasing is what I recommend though as it may not be everyone’s cup of tea......

I love this house and it's concept. It's not easy to come up with something original, but also mass pleasing, good quality and affordable at the same time. Hear me out: if you live in Europe, check their website and purchase directly from them, it's much more affordable - they offer a variety of quantities, even without the box, which is a more cost effective option. If they made them refillable, that would be even more amazing. On to the scent. Same ballpark as Angels Share, but without the booziness. Opens with cinnamon and brown sugar, these are the main players throughout. Don't be afraid of the leather, it's there to give it a backbone and it's only slightly present as a soft brown suede. It's not cloying , it somehow managed to stay airy and the performance is great on me (much better than Angels Share for me). Highly recommend this house in general.

what sweet, caramely, cinnamony little fragrance! i just love this scent so much! it's like cold nights in a warm wooden cabin, eating caramel candies, and sipping on cinnamon spiked rum on a leather rug in front of the fireplace. so cozy and addictive! longevity is great- lasts for at least a day on my skin. i will say that if you have this fragrance, you don't really need angels' share because they smell enough alike-vice versa. edit: just layered this with one of my most favorite scent right now bare vanilla candied-Y'ALL. it smells so good with this scent! BV candied accentuates the caramel and sweetness of sugar leather with its vanilla and marshmallow. the dry down is just pure bliss and goodness. maybe an eccentric combo, but it works imo!

In a similar vein with Mancera Red Tobacco, but with less punchy, resinous, gasoline on your leather jacket profile. If Red Tobacco was James Dean in a leather jacket then Sugar leather is Marlon Brando in The Chase. He's cool. He's collected, and he's sophisticated. He follows his own path, and he damn sure isn't about to back down from a fight.! Both are fantastic, and while the differences seem minor on paper, the nuances in your personality that each of these magnify, are quite different. Red tobacco is you flipping the finger to the status quo, and Sugar Leather is the quieter Sigma Male that leaves all the Betas around wondering how you stole their girl without saying a word! Trust me though, with this you've said a lot! It grows on you!

I love this! Too much packaging but smell awesome. The leather smell castoreum-like, its kinda oudy. The leather here remind me of leather in Bois de Oud La Sultane de Saba - in BDOLSDS the oud is an accord of leather and castoreum. The caramel and leather combo remind me of white chocolate and oud combo in Sarah Baker Loudo, white chocolate is creamy latonic not candy. The caramel is creamy and make the leather soft in Sugar Leather. I eventually get cinnamon roll with creamy icing, im talking baked doe and cinnamon. This perfume oscillate from caramel cream leather to a slight fruit leather like in Bois de Oud La Sultane de Saba fruit /leather. The caramel here isnt cheap sharp or stink. This is sweet amber cream caramel.

I’m utterly in love with this one, even if the leather is not particularly pungent or animalic; it’s a soft, comforting one, instead, sweetened by a very gourmand-ish surrounding. I used to go horseback riding for sport as a child. This fragrance sums up the whole (idealized) experience, form riding and taking care of an old horse named Orpheus, to packing my leather boots and coming home to cartoons and a slice of bread and jelly. All the scents in these pictures are perfectly captured in their best version in this perfume: I smell it and, suddenly it's 2005 again. This comes from someone that is deeply in love with both PDM Oajan and Killian Angel's Share. For the record, to me, those are different enough, even though people say that they are dupes. Now when it comes to Sugar Leather, I would say it's definitely their lost brother. Without a doubt the same DNA as the two mentioned, but sweeter, less boozy than Angel's Share and less smokey than Oajan. It somehow has more dimension than those two and it definitely last longer than both of them. If you like those two or if you struggle with their longevity, I can 100% guarantee that you are going to like this one.

*unisex *Fall/Winter, even evening *5⭐️ With cooler weather coming in a few months, I wanted to add to my Fall/Winter collection. This is a beautiful and perfectly unisex scent for cooler weather. It's a great date night scent as well. I know I'll be wearing this a lot, and I'm hoping my husband will enjoy it just as much. On my skin, it smells just like it's name "Sugar Leather." It's a sweet suede like scent that hugs you. It's an enveloping scent hug. It doesn't have a tobacco note, that I know of, but it's very reminiscent of a mild smokey sweet tobacco. This was a love at first sniff for me.

I love Une Nuite Nomade, so under-rated! I found Sugar Leather to be a very rich, sumptuous and sweet leather. the labdanum is gorgeous, it melts into the skin (maybe thanks to the amyris that is listed in the notes?) it's not a gourmand, it's not too spicy. just sits right in the middle of masculine and feminine, smokiness and sweetness. extremely well blended. just a high quality fragrance, and a pleasure to wear. would definitely recommend to those who enjoy scents like eau duelle from diptyque or MMM by the fireplace and want un upgrade in terms of quality, longevity and personality.

Best opening I've ever smelt. Honestly this juice is amazing. Opening brings forth a thick, syrupy leathery caramelly scent that unfortunately only lasts a few minutes. Not to say that the drydown isn't good, as the same caramel leather profile but with a deeper leather-cinnamon nuance still persists, but lacking that initial punch of maple syrup-esque goodness. The longer it stays on skin the more ambery and smooth it gets, which is something I can definitely appreciate. For sure worth getting the big bottle, performance is amazing as well so would certainly last plenty of years.

Same realm as Angels' Share, Oajan, and 1 Million Prive. Warm, sweet spice, and fruit. The leather is not that noticeable (if at all). Not bad, but also nothing new. I can't see how this would disappoint anyone, unless you don't like sweet fragrances. Price point is okay for something of this quality. The longevity of this fragrance is mild in comparison to the scents I mentioned. It feels a bit linear and pairs well layered with other fragrances. I enjoy it layered on top of Jo Malone Bronze Wood & Leather as it gives it a boost of leather to the base of the scent.

I cannot believe I am the first one to write a review for this lovely fragrance. I agree 100% that this is similar to Oajan (I’ve owned it). I also believe it is similar to Sora Dora’s Mandorle. I love Oajan and Mandorle but Sugar Leather has better longevity and sillage. I wish I could describe the scent through its notes but I would fail miserably trying. Luckily, the caramel is not sickly sweet like Unique’ Luxury’s Crush on Me. If you have Oajan or Mandorle, Sugar Leather may be redundant for you to own but I’m glad I have it.

I received this as a sample with a perfume I ordered online. I loved going blind into it. Immediately it reminded me of Angel Share - tamed down with the leather note which is a beautiful addition compared to AS. I do like sweet, edible fragrances but the leather opens it up as a more wearable fragrance for me. I can only do so much AS before it becomes too cloying. I'm going to order a 10ml and see if I like it better than AS as I can't quite pull the trigger on a bottle yet. So happy to be exposed to this beauty.

I don't like this is hyping too much. Like almost everytime I build a wall around particular fragrance. The same with this one. Gonna try it tomorrow,maybe buy it but will edit with my thoughts. Edit here we go: Hm it's a nice one. Nothing to lose your head about. It's more Oajan than Angle's share. It's gentle cinnamon scent not overly sweet. It can be wear casual day,night, don't need winter. Personally it's missing the punch for my taste. It's unisex so no worries on that side. Gonna get 50ml bottle.

If you like fragrances such as Oajan, Angels share or By the fireplace, you will love this. It is in the realm of this DNA with a sophisticated touch of leather. I hate leather so dont think there is any stinky leather in this, it is quite refined and smooth and in the bakground in a supporting role. Sugary cinammon goodness with lovely caramel. Suprisingly versatile have even worn this to the gym and got a compliment. Smell - 9.5/10 Longevity - 9/10 Projection - 6/10

Absolute masterpiece. It's much better than Oajan, Khamrah, Angels' Share and the likes. It has this very fine balance of spicy and sweet with the resinous labdanum-y base. The drydown actually gets pretty resinous, kinda reminds me of Bengal Rouge. However, the overall composition completed with the top and mid notes makes it so easily enjoyable and wearable as an everyday fragrance. Amazing. Very long lasting, sillage is a bit more than average.

Love at first sniff! warm, cinnamony, sweet, elegant, deep, sooo pretty! the notes pyramid is wrong, off the official site there's cinnamon and prune on top, amyris, tonka bean and patchouli at the heart, and leather, caramel and labdanum at the base. Cinnamon, prune, patchouli, gentle leather and labdanum is what I get - gorgeous combination. Quite unisex, but at the same time very sexy. got a sample set and can't wait to discover more

This fragrance felt too masculine and musky for a friend who suggested it might complement me -- a perfect reminder that those who know and love you also enhance you! I used the tester bottle to completion and bought my own bottle. I love the smooth, woody spiciness. The leather notes in this are grounding to the floral and sweet notes. I am a desert rat away from home. This scent brought me back.

I have Angels' Share and Sugar Leather is such a lovely fragrance in that boozy, cinnamon category but with some leather added. It tones down the sweetness enough to make this less cloying than Angels' Share, which some might find too sweet. The caramel hangs around in the dry down, leaving you with the most delightfully sweet scent cloud. Not too heavy or overbearing. It's just right! 9/10

It's like a sweet and more welcoming version of penhaligon's kensington amber. I detect something that reminds a little of leather, but despite the name the leather has a minimal role here. First it's sweet and spicy and after few hours it goes through a more masculine phase and returns to sweet unisex scent. I don't see this as a winter scent at all, I associate this scent with summer.

This is a leather jacket worn by a hot spicy cowboy who wears fragrances like angels share or Ojan. To me this adds something to those fragrances that to me was missing the wow factor. The leather is just that. It takes this type of DNA and adds a sexiness instead of just smelling like an apple pie. No this is apple pie of apple pie was a hottie in a leather jacket. 10/10

It doesn't smell like Angel's Share at all. It's more fruity, while Sugar Leather smells like what the name suggests, leather soaked in syrup with a hint of cinnamon. After 3 hours, labdanum becomes more prominent. It's slightly too sweet for my preference, which isn't a surprise as the name warns us about it. I wear it during very cold, dry weather. It lasts very long!

I've written a review on this before, but I just put it on and will never get over how good it is. It's like Angel's Share and Oajan had a baby and it's wearing a clean- but vintage, brown leather jacket. I can't wait for this to be my signature in the Fall. For reference, I love Angel's Share and Oajan- so much, but I love this WAY more.

This is a 10/10 for me, first day I wore this I got asked what I was wearing by a fellow classmate and it smells like angels share to my nose yet it probably shouldn't. Is it better than angels share? Not really but neither is it worse and less expensive so if you're looking for an alternative (not a clone or dupe) then check this out.

Ahhhh, this is such a pretty and addictive scent! The lil brother of Kilian’s Angels’ share, BUT with the amazing difference, which makes it even more loveable that labdanum takes away the cloying sweetness of it, and the cinnamon is not as aggressive as in Angels’ share. These two differences make this way more loveable!

Rich, almost balsamic, like a reduction of warm cinnamon sugar and caramelized fruit. The leather note here isn't truly giving me leather, but it does evoke something well-worn, like the worried pages of old books. This is so decadent and spicy-sweet. I want to wear it to all fall-themed activities.

Imagine really fine filaments of sparkly spice threads in the air, the way sun's rays are reflected off of the desert sand in the spice-infused air... That's what you get with Sugar Leather... It's not loud, not designed to be loud... It reveals itself only in close proximity... IYKYK... <3 <3

A beautiful ❤️ beautifuuuul soft leather with rich blonde buttery caramel smooth and nostalgic. Its a unisex perfume. Because the weather is hot i didn't buy a bottle but... When i smell it Again after a couple of hours i ordered and i m waiting my bottle tomorrow morning woeoeoeooewow

Mandorle and Angels Share had a baby. However it doesn’t give me the Cherry note I get on my skin from Mandorle. To me it’s basically Mandorle minus the Cherry note and replace it with lots of cinnamon. It’s beautiful and I can’t wait to wear this in the Autumn time.

Opening it’s not too sweet and I love that, is the type of sweet that you can actually enjoy without getting nauseous. Leave it a moment so the skin and the leather comes out and the sweetness disappears but just a little, making it more masculine. Fantastic 10/10

Yumm leather. I will never say those two words together again. Rum & a pinch of leather; the leather is soft, introductory style. Unisex right down the line. I feel it is average boozy fragrance that wears a trendy leather belt.

I really love this scent. The sweetness and leather accord are beautiful together, the leather is not to much. It's soft and comforting. However, I find it to be more subtle than I prefer, it is very close to the skin.

Sweet , cinnamon and leather . I like the leather in this, I picture a smooth, maybe suede like calf leather . On my skin it gets a bit too sweet,I have to be in the mood for sweet fragrances. It’s lasts about 8 hours

Beautiful! This is a sweeter Angel’s share with mild leather note replacing the alcohol note. Perfect for evening wear and formal occasions. Great performance, unisex and value for money. Shukran Habibi!

To me this is delicious. Slightly sweet, definitely spicy and long lasting. Really lovely. A top choice for fall/winter. I can't wait for it to cool off in NE US so I can wear it with regularity!

Imo this is the best fragrance with the angel shares DNA. The leather comes in subtle yet balances the whole fragrance making it smell just so much better than oajan or angel shares

I like this a lot, it’s very dry and airy, very resinous to me. Quite a nice wear, I just don’t find myself wearing it often. If anybody is interested in a 90% full 50 ml message me

Smells very good I like it a lot. Is similar with angels share and I already have that one. I will get a travel spray only because they are so similar no point in a full bottle.

Amazing sweet scent, leaning masculine for me. I kind of see the comparison with angels share but its not as similar as people describe it to be Worth the pick up for the price

very good, smells a bit like initio side effect but instead of the rum it goes more into a cinnamon/caramel sweet smell, good sillage and longevity, easily gets 12 hours on it

It smells effortlessly wonderful. It's quite sweet, but never offensive. It has a very nice, addictive sillage. It's one of my favorite perfumes to wear.
